This is a short entry task for a class, I didn't prof read it at all also I did cut it short. I hope you enjoy what ever the duck this is.

Prompt: thanks to a atmosphere change human have made a colony on Mars, the re is a cave near by that they think has something living in it like an alien or plant. You and your crew have been sent to investigate it.

While exploring deeper into the cave me and my crew start to hear weird deranged suffocating seagull-like noises, along with some clicks,clinks, and plastic crumpling. My crew had stopped walking a little while back as I continued to round the corner and I came across a small group of creatures. They range from two feet tall to a little over five foot. The strange creatures look like a failed science experiment of tring to combine a venus fly trap, seagull, turtle, spider, scorpion, and giraffe. They are doing a little happy like and sacrificial dance around what looks like a giant potato plant that's in the center of the cave. The room of the cave is lit by coral and mushroom- like shelves that are extremely brightly luminescent teal glow. Above the potato plant hung a giant lily that had an orange glow that was warm like the sun.

The creatures instantly stopped directly in their tracks staring at the themase that slowly rolled toward them. Upon inspection one of the bigger ones approached it, the other remained motionless. It made a noise similar to a squeaking door opening the closer it got.

The creature passed it.

Stalking slowly toward me I grab the first thing in my pocket which just happens to be a bag of milk, it turns the corner, and I throw the bag in what I think is its face. It stops and examines the bag the processes to run back to the others while making some happy squeaking and shrills to the others at its find. The others join in a joyous dance and quickly start flocking me, holding the bag up to me as if asking for more. I opened my bag and pulled out a lot more bags of milk. They happily run back to the potato plant, breaking the bag over it, letting the milk water the plant and then proceeding to eat the bag. Which was strange as it already was before, but now they have brought me arm full of potatoes.

In the end long story short we have befriended the strange creature for the potatoes and peace by giving them bags of milk. They would only ever eat the bag of the bagged milk and water the potatoes with the milk.
