I have to admit that epic battles of any kind are not my thing and for a second I was seriously rolling my eyes, but jeez, some of these lines here are priceless. I’m team Joan, obviously, and there are too many to pick one. I’m torn between:

If Lip (character Helene is sleeping with) were a dudebro, I would definitely NOT like him. He's honestly just a sarcastic genius (who's a bit of an asshole sometimes, admittedly, but mostly when people are just stupid) from a shitty neighborhood who's trying to make it out of a poverty-stricken life. He's done stupid stuff. Teenage boys always do, but all in all, personally I can't help but like him. However, I do identify with the whole smart kid from a bad, poor family trying to get out thing

Okay.  That makes it less annoying.  I’m afraid I am not really familiar with the show, or the premise.  I just know that some of the captions I’ve seen make him look like kind of a douche.

No no. I don't want fic recs. I want to know the writers with at least a handful of stories who you think write consistently well, or at least the majority of their fics are well-written.

Keep in mind, every writer has bad patches, and some that I’ll list below will have stories I’m not interested in (some TeenRizzles, some MommyRizzles), but I hope this will give you what you want.
