Chan would notice it right away

He loves taking pictures and videos of his S/O, so this habit of theirs would drive him insane

He at first wouldn’t think much of it and brush the subject off a bit

But after seeing them do it more often, he would get a bit upset

Like he wants nothing more than to take a cute picture with his S/O

He would be afraid that they were feeling insecure about themselves and always reassure them that they’re gorgeous/handsome

He would get so happy though if he takes a photo without them hiding their face/pulling a silly face

Would gush for ages about how pretty they look

Minho’s a little bit of a cheeky bean, so he would tease his S/O about it

Would take sneaky pictures of them so they wouldn’t notice and show them later

Sometimes he would do it just to annoy them, but a lot of the time he literally would just want cute photos of his S/O

Because as much as he would love the silly and stupid photos, he would love to capture them just doing normal things

Probably would have a little album in his phone

He would take it the wrong way and think that his S/O doesn’t want a picture with him

He’s a drama queen, so he would pout and whine about it

They’d have to eventually give in because he wouldn’t give up

Absolutely cherishes their selfies though

Han at times can be a little bit of a shy bean as well, so I think he would relate to his S/O’s habit

He would respect their wishes for not wanting to be photographed without them knowing

He’s not fussed about not having many photos of them

But he would literally hate it if they spoke badly about themselves after seeing a picture of them

He wants them to feel loved and valid 24/7, so he’d always be reassuring them that they shouldn’t feel shy around cameras because they have so much beauty

➣ MARK ☾ mari

½ of the best friend crew

honestly at the beginning, mark and aria weren’t very close, having only really seen each other in passing or with johnny

but after being dropped into training together the two quickly became fast friends, and now they’re borderline inseparable

you thought you knew pain? watch aria’s reaction to mark’s graduation from dream :)

mark’s the reason why aria felt confident enough to pitch some of her lyric ideas to the team, after staying up until 4am to help her make some edits so she was as confident as possible

kinda just, rests his head on her shoulder? and wraps his arms around her waist when he’s tired

aria said once in a vlive that she finds mark really comforting to be around - when she feels stressed or worried about something she’ll go to mark’s room and just sit on his bed for a while

aria is so close with his parents - “ahh, how’s my favourite child” “i’m doing great mom.” “no not you, how’s aria?” “wh-hu-MOM?”

you’d swear sometimes mark is younger than her, considering the pout he puts on and how much he whines when they’re not on the same team together for promotions

in one of the fancams for mark’s solo stage during superm, someone zoomed into aria singing along with him in the wings and dancing to herself with the Proudest Smile™

mark and aria were standing off to one side as the mc explained the rules of the game they were about to be playing. mark looked totally confused, and elbowed aria in her side before looking down and mouthing “what?” to her. aria opened her mouth, before closing it and looking down at the ground, muttering to herself, “결합… 結合….. le chéile…. le… le.. oh oh - combined! we have to put them together, markie.”and thus, a new confusion meme was born

➣ RENJUN ☾ renjaria

renjun and aria room together while she’s promoting with dream

they were so awkward around each other at the beginning :(

only really spoke in passing, or when they had to

it was renjun that broke the ice at first, asking if she wanted to go shopping for the dorm together

now it’s their thing

“no aria, we can’t get more ice-cream we’re all supposed to be on diets.” “but ｡ﾟ･ (>﹏<) ･ﾟ｡ please”

he’s lowkey soft for her but he’d rather throw himself off the roof then tell her that

he started teaching her how to properly play once he found her messing around on a keyboard in the studio one day

they actually argue quite a bit

not about big things, but about smaller things that push each other over the edge because of stress

the first time he yelled at her, aria spent the night in hyuck’s room

hyuck yelled at renjun for making her cry

now they’re probably the best pairing for talking through their emotions instead of blowing up on each other

they’re both quite opinionated people, and they’ve learnt to navigate that well so fights don’t happen as often

does that stop renjun from teasing aria an within an inch of her life? absolutely not

he gets so angry on her behalf

that was actually a topic of one of their biggest arguments smh

aria was leaning on a pile of books to prop herself up as she leant forwards to try and hang a string of lights on her bedroom wall. renjun walked in, and immediately came to her aid, speaking with a teasing tone. “need a hand?”

aria, without ceremony just elbowed him in the stomach and used his then folded up figure to push herself up higher. “yes, thank you!”

she got hate for that one, but it was all in good fun and renjun was laughing after it

➣ JENO ☾ nori

aria is his princess and everyone else can fight him

like they’re both doyoung’s children, but if it comes down to it he will lay down his life for her

and not even in a romantic way, just a “you’re too precious i have to protect you” kind of way

czennies thought he was in love with her for the entirety of nct 2018 promotions

this boy was hanging off of her at any given second, and there was an edited video of jeno “glaring” at lucas’ back when the taller boy walked away after hugging aria

it was faked, stan twt needs to chill out

he drags her to the gym

he’s basically her big brother? but they’re the same age - its a weird dynamic but they make it work

they’re so LOUD together

not chaotic, but he makes her laugh so hard

any and all fanfictions written about the two are definitely either coffee shop, university or library AUs

this man walks like a bodyguard around her - boy got the arm over the shoulder, tucked her head into him, covering her face, its a whole ordeal

dispatch released some pictures of aria one day and accidentally blurred out jeno’s face because they thought he was her bodyguard

is so. so mindful of how long aria spends in the training rooms

like, yes everyone else expects her home before midnight (long story)

but jeno actively makes sure to ask people what time she left the dorm at, and texts her to remind her to take water breaks and to come home at a good time so she can sleep

these two are the creators of so many iconic vlives - they have a bad habit of going live at 1 or 2 in the morning, just doing random things

➣ DONGHYUCK ☾ arichan

the other half of the best friend crew

absolute heathens to be around when they are together

donghyuck is the person aria is closest to, and someone she’d call her best friend (only when she was sure he wouldn’t hear her)

she calls him “the demon child i can’t get rid of” but will, and has definitely pouted when he ignored her for too long

generally aria is a pretty soft spoken person, but not with hyuck around - he brings out all her chaos energy (please pray for the patience of dotae)

the pair have a little tradition of kissing the back of each others’ hands before going on stage for good luck. they can’t even remember how it started, but now its an unnegotiable pre-show ritual

he’s so clingy with her absolutely everywhere its painfully adorable (ಥ﹏ಥ)

interviews? hyuck has a hand on her knee, or if she’s wearing a skirt he’s tucked his hand in between their chairs so she can hold it discreetly. in the dorms? full body tackle onto the couch, where he proceeds to lay on top of her completely.

because of hyuck’s nickname being the sun, and aria always being around him, czennies gave her the nickname “moon” to go with him

fans thought that aria was older than hyuck for a good year and a half before she released her birthday on a vlive, because she’s normally the one tasked with reigning his chaotic energy in during promotions (that is, if she hasn’t already joined him)

but off-camera, aria is absolutely hyuck’s baby there is no disputing that. aria’s sad?he’s there with ice-cream and a blanket and a baseball bat.

the winnie the pooh character that is on aria’s bed was a gift from hyuck for her 17th birthday, after she made him watch seven episodes of the show on netflix with her one night

yes he complained, but he slapped her hand away when she went to change it to something else

a twitter thread of a czennie comparing their horoscopes together went viral when people realized that it was quite plausible that the pair were each others (platonic) soulmates

after an incident involving blueberries, donghyuck took it upon himself to check the ingredients of every. single. food item in their dorm to make sure it was ok for her to eat

hyuck clowns her for her irish accent, and aria curses him out in japanese

donghyuck was doing a vlive in his bedroom, sitting and talking to czennies when aria opened the door to his room quietly. she didn’t say anything, just waved slightly with almost closed eyes before she crawled underneath his covers and tucked her plushie underneath her chin. hyuck didn’t even blink at it - so it must have been a regular occurrence.

jaemin highkey flusters her

not in a oo you’re so cute, cute boy make nerves go eeee

but he’ll wink at her and teasingly compliment her and now she looks like a firetruck this isn’t fair

he absolutely takes advantage of this where ever possible

but when aria isn’t trying to get her cheeks to stop being red, they’re really cute together

you’d swear aria is older, by how much jaemin whines for her attention

the mighty battles between jaemin and hyuck

hyuck’s just biding his time for the rooftop fight

kinda panics around her when she’s crying, but is always the first to offer up a hug

has a period tracker on his phone but no one knows about it

he doesn’t like to coddle her because they’re so close in age, but that doesn’t stop him from getting protective in certain situations *cough cough the fansign cough cough*

jaemin and aria cuddling when they’re drunk? more likely than you’d think

he definitely professed his undying love for her at one point while being drunk, and chenle caught it on video

nct dream on idol room were trying out jaemin’s death-in-a-cup (his coffee) and as the cup got passed around, aria grew more and more concerned with each face the members made. “jaemin if i die from this-”

he only smiled at her while passing over the cup. aria held it up to look at the black liquid skeptically, before sighing in resignation and bringing the cup to her lips to take a sip.

➣ CHENLE ☾ leri

hide yo kids and hide yo wives because leri is entering the chat

*cue aria and chenle wearing 2000s rapper clothes with backwards baseball caps*

these two are so chaotically calm

its like the energy cancels out or something

aria with hyuck is just so loud and obnoxious, and the same with chenle with jisung

so when you put those two together it just turns into le positive vibes

you ever meditated to those 132 hertz sounds? thats them in a sound

aria will hold him like a baby kitten she’s expecting to try wriggle out of her grip at any moment and its comical because he’s a good head taller than her

aria definitely has a knack for making her groupmates’ parents fall in love with her

every two weeks or so she goes for dinner in chenle’s house upon his mother’s request

they have a mutual understanding of the mental toll it takes to be around the rest of the dreamies constantly

chenle was particularly restless that day, constantly shuffling about in his seat to the point where renjun forcefully tossed an arm over his shoulders to hold him still while the vlive was still playing.

not one to be defeated, chenle then turned to press his lips to renjun’s cheek playfully, laughing when the older boy turned away in disgust. he turned to do the same to aria, coming closer to her cheek before aria turned her head to face his.

➣ JISUNG ☾ jiri

oh god oh god oh god

if aria could take this boy and wrap him in a blanket and keep him in her pocket she would - no questions asked

jisung knows she loves him the most out of dream sorry markhyuck and takes advantage of it every second

she used to coddle him a lot when he was smaller, but now that he’s older aria tries to rein it in as much as possible

that doesn’t mean it goes away completely though

“noona can you cook for me?” “of course jisungie! what do you want?”

he keeps band-aids in his bag for her in exchange for her keeping an extra bottle of water in hers because jisung always forgets his own

jisung rests his elbow on her head a lot

but only briefly because the last time he stayed there for too long she stamped on his foot

tldr: aria is jisung’s emotional support gnome

jisung and aria were doing the chicken leg battle (this one) to fight for first dibs on the rooms they were going to be sharing for the next week or so. just before they were about to start, mark started laughing and pointing at how high jisung’s leg came up on aria’s, with aria’s knee barely hitting jisung’s mid-thigh

if someone walked in, taeil would ask them to get out. “hey, can you leave? we’re a bit busy in here,” he would say. taeil would pretend it didn’t happen and try not to care about it too much because it’s not that big of a deal, but he’s a bit embarrassed on the inside. you two go back to making out, but it’s not the same because taeil is a bit hesitant to go any further just in case someone walks in again.

johnny doesn’t care if someone sees you two making out. he keeps kissing you, pretending that they’re not there, and waits until the person leaves. you try to push him away because someone just walked in, but he doesn’t stop and keeps his lips on you. once they leave, he pulls away. “you didn’t notice that someone just walked in on us?” you ask. “no, i did. i just didn’t want that to distract you,” he says

taeyong would be uncomfortable if someone walked in. he’d stop everything he was doing and apologize to the person who walked in. “i’m so sorry, this won’t happen again,” he’d say. the whole situation would make him feel a bit embarrassed and he would be too shy to continue making out because he doesn’t want to risk getting caught again, but depending on whether or not he’s still in the mood, he might take you somewhere else to continue.

i think yuta would get a little cocky/arrogant if someone walked in on you two making out. he would ask them, “are you going to watch us? no? then leave,” and they would exit as soon as possible. yuta probably likes the possibility of being walked in on so this motives him to go back to making out with you but with more intenseness and passion than before. who knows, maybe someone will walk in on something more than a make out session.

when doyoung notices someone walked in on you two, he would pull away and ask them to leave. while this situation doesn’t bother him, he is uncomfortable with the fact they couldn’t have checked to see if anyone was inside the room before entering. he complains about what happened afterwards for a little bit, like, “how come they just opened the door and walked in? unbelievable,” but you two go back to making out so he doesn’t really care.

if someone walked in, jungwoo would feel embarrassed and apologize. the situation would make him feel uncomfortable and awkward and he even apologizes to you for what happened. he knows it’s not a big deal, but he’s bummed out that it happened. when the person leaves, you and jungwoo don’t continue your make-out session, but he’s extra sweet to you for the rest of the day to show you he’s sorry about what happened.

you know that nervous/scared feeling you get when someone catches you doing something you don’t want them to know you’re doing? that’s how mark feels. he would become so flustered if someone walked in while you two were making out. “what are you doing in here? get out!” he’d say. he tries to brush it off and you two go back to making out, but he can’t stop thinking about what just happened without feeling paranoid.

personally, i’d love it if more idols could interact with one another and not really care for the dating rumours. i understand that the rumours might get toxic, because they definitely have in the past, but at this stage they happen without the idols interacting so … what’s the big deal? so for those of you who don’t know, nct 2020 had a resonance vlive/concert last night (dec 26/27) and taeyong and jisung were unable to perform due to a back injury (herniated disk) and knee injury respectively.

I’ll mainly be talking about taeyong in this just due to his extrEmely large presence within NCT and also jisung was there to vocally cover his parts.

(also not to take anything away from jisung, however in the sheer amount of screentime and tracks ty is in, him missing is much harder to disguise within a performance with or without vocals)

in order these are the members that covered ty’s parts in each song (tbh i may be forgetting some, but the point is look at how hard they had to work to even fill ty’s dance position within the concert, the boy is in like 50% of their performed tracks)

nct u - boss - sungchan

nct u - the 7th sense - shotaro

nct u - light bulb - yangyang

nct 127 - touch - haechan (first part), johnny (iconic ty and mork), yuta (pulls up in the chorus to fill in ty part to the stage right of jh)

nct u - make a wish - jeno (first part), jaemin (basically rest of the song)

nct 127 - kick it - mark (usually the center parts), jaehyun (first rap), yuta (end dance break), johnny (mark stepped on him rip lol)

nct u - misfit - johnny (start), sungchan (end)

nct 2020 - resonance - jeno / jaemin (?) - dude idk im having trouble keeping up at this point

// I want to make it very clear that NCT would not be where it is without taeyong. I’m not suggesting that he is replaceable in any way, shape or form. however as a person with two parents in the performance industry - and im sure that many of u understand just from general life experience -- the show mUst go on. when you have a presence as large as ty missing, it is undoubtedly going to take a toll on the overall energy and performance but i personally think that the boys fucking killed it -- especially with such a short turnaround from learning that ty would not be performing. (jaemin said that jeno legit had one HOUR to practice the beginning of maw (and by proxy the beginning of resonance) and that amount of talent and skill is unfuckingbelievable) but I digress.

// there is nothing wrong with being disappointed that taeyong cannot perform. (get well soon ty!) he is an incredible performer and human being. there is nothing wrong with seeing (and understanding) that another member filling ty’s part is going to FEEL different, even if they do a phenomenal job. there is nothing wrong with feeling the difference in energy and performance -- there is obviously ANOTHER PERSON doing the part that we are accustomed to. there is nothing wrong with having a conversation and discourse about the performance. however... there IS something wrong with putting down members and harshly criticizing their performance in a malicious way. constructive criticism is one thing, but a lot (not all but an overwhelming amount) of what I have seen in the comments and the little bit of twitter i have been on has just been bashing members (one in particular) about their performance.

// let me get the easy part out of the way here. jaemin and jeno killed it during maw. yuta’s dance break, mark’s center time, jaehyun covering ty’s rap, and johnny stepping up to get stepped on (hehe i’ll stop now don’t mind me) were all surprisingly refreshing. yangyang covering lightbulb was (imo) one of highlights of the concert. for a rapper who often doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves he did a PHENOMENAL job covering the entirety of ty’s parts in his own way and conveying his emotions. yes, the members weren’t the same as taeyong, however, they added their own twist and their own personalities to it. it is in fact BETTER to do this and be remembered for their own style than attempt to emulate someone else’s performance. it is the sign of a great artist to take something and make it your own.

// now, onto the two newest members. i will be candid about this. the biggest difference I felt within the performance was when sungchan and shotaro were covering ty’s parts. tbh this is to be expected (?). i’m not trying to put down the boys but the reality is that they debuted 2-3 MONTHS ago? all of the other members covering ty’s parts have had significantly more experience in every aspect of performing. jaemin and jeno may be about the same age as chan and shotaro but they have upwards of 4 years more experience (debuted anyway, and anyone can tell u that practicing vs the real thing can be a very daunting change) than the other two. the other members have performed in front of a live crowd, they have had time to deal with criticism and learn from it. they are just in every way more experienced, and although we expect great things out of all the members, it is simply unrealistic to expect the same level of performance out of members with 2 years less experience than anyone else on the stage.

shotaro covered one of the hardest parts in nct history - taeyong’s 7th sense. in every way - the rap, the technicality of the dance, the sheer charisma ty brings - this was a daunting task. him being a rookie DID show in the performance. this isn’t a bad thing. the tone of his rap did sometimes lack nuance and the level of sophistication that we know taeyong to have. however, i do think shotaro was the right choice for this song. you have to give rookies experience for them to grow, and a concert like this (even without a live crowd) is a great time to do it. (i’ll get into logistics later but bear with me)

the sad reality is that we’re probably not going to have large in person concerts for at least the next year and it will be a long time til travel, concerts, and simply life return to what they were before covid. it will be a very long til the boys get to perform on a stage with the energy of a crowd in the same way they have up til now.

now sungchan. my poor bb sungchan :(

sungchan covered ty’s part is boss (and a little bit in misfit but johnny covered the first part and its more of a hype rap song than one with designated dance moves and centre parts). the dance (in boss) may not be the most technical but this is an unfORGETTABLE song when it comes to taeyong’s part. the beginning “nct leggo?” *chefs kiss*. from what i’ve seen sungchan is the one receiving the most criticism (read hate) about his performance. look, i’m not going to argue that out of all the members who filled ty’s part he was the weakest. (im not trying to hate, but imo his performance was the weakest, u can disagree with me). he definitely less comfortable with covering taeyong’s part than anyone else was - including shotaro. i think most of the criticism is coming from the fact that he just looked anxious and unable to throw himself into the choreo and when comparing him to taeyong (who again just -- idk he’s unexplainable) his performance does fall a little flat. imo the rap was okay, his tone is actually somewhat similar to ty. i really think that most of the hate is stemming from the execution of the choreo rather than the rap. HOWEVER... calling him “stiff as a board” and commenting “cap” emojis does absolutely nothing except spread unnecessary hate. sungchans position is NOT as a dancer. he is only listed as a rapper. shotaro, however, is listed as both a dancer and a rapper. not to say that these listings are the end all be all of a member’s position, but because they are so new they are a decent representation of what SM thought their strengths were. we would love our idols to be aces at everything, but they are human and humans have their strengths and weaknesses. compared to taeyong, and also shotaro, sungchan does not have the technical ability nor the confidence while dancing. I’d like to believe that anyone who analyzes their performances and takes an objective view can understand where i am coming from.

tldr: you are placing unrealistic expectations on a rookie who’s main position is NOT main dancer. you are asking him to fill the shoes of arguably one of the most charismatic and talented rappers, leaders, and centers of 4th gen kpop... as a ROOKIE. his performance is most likely going to show cracks of being relatively new to the stage. its okay to acknowledge that, but don’t be fucking rude when discussing his performance.

// the amount of posts i’ve seen calling sungchan “untalented” “stiff as a board” just im so fucking over it. yes, his performance had its weaknesses but name-calling and just straight up hate does nothing to help a performer and just ruins everyone’s mental. you can bet your ass that every single one of these boys has worked their ass off, given up unimaginable things, and faced challenges to get where they are today. not to mention that (in particular the case of sungchan and shotaro) these boys are young. the other youngest/newest members have had about 2 years (yangyang, xiaojun, hendery) to become accustomed to the criticism and also hatred that comes with being in the spotlight. sungchan is less than a MONTH older than me. shotaro is just a year older than me. my best friend is legit older than both of these boys. idk your age but think about yourself at their age, or where u think you’ll be at their age. they have accomplished SO much and are so young. they’re 19 and 20 and in an internationally recognized band. we know that a lot of these boys (and idols) do read our comments. i don’t care how much media training you’ve received, how strong your mental is, getting called untalented and being hated on is going to take a toll on your mental. along with that, what is the NEED? to spread hate? to show that “huhu, im such a big deal that all these people are responding to me”. like, legit wtf do u gain from this?

// when you are a performer you do open yourself up to criticism, it is part of the job. but criticism and hate are two very different things. to get where nct is today, every single member has to be humble enough to accept guidance AND constructive criticism. we all know how much the boys value nctizens opinions and take them into account when performing. when you are a performer like that you also have to criticize your own work. no matter what profession you are in, no matter what you do, you analyze ur own work and attempt to make it better. i can all but assure u that shotaro and sungchan (and all the boys) know their strengths and weaknesses, know when a specific move, performance, or other area of their ability is not up to par (or they just want to improve which is imperative to success in the music industry)

just be a decent human being. put urself in all of the boy’s shoes and think “hmm how would i feel if some stranger on the internet said this about me” before you make hateful statements.

again, there is nothing wrong with having a discussion and understanding that humans have strengths and weaknesses, but don’t just put someone down because u feel like it.

in case you aren’t convinced to be a decent person, have a more logical (?) approach -- not that u should have to shown a dissertation to be a decent human but i digress.

(think about how many other songs the rest of rap line has to perform, logistically, who else are you going have cover the entierty of boss and 7th sense.)

rap line is: taeyong, mark, lucas, hendery, jeno, jaemin, yangyang, shotaro, sungchan, and jisung (?).

everyone except lucas and hendery (and jisung but bb was injured :( ) covered ty’s part in some aspect. in fact, people not in the friggin rap line helped cover some of ty’s rap (johnny, jaehyun, haechan im looking at you) and other members covered dancing and center parts when they were asked to.

mark is in just as many tracks as ty and was RUNNING around to get to the next song this entire concert. you can legit see his outfit change with jackets and hats. he filled in for ty in kick it (group effort but u get the point) but in 7th sense just to the way that the song works and the dance etc etc, you can’t have mark doing his part as well as ty’s without it falling flat and taking a huge toll on mark. same with boss, marks filling just as big a role as ty and like, legit how do u give this boy mOre lines than he already has. (u can see that sm did a similar thing with jeno and jaemin in the beginning of maw, jeno covers the first part and then jaemin the rest of the song because jaemin can’t leave an open space at the vEry beginning of the song) (10/21 total performances)

lucas isn’t in as many as say mark but he is in boss and make a wish (boss being very hard for him to cover ty’s part, and jeno and jaemin covered maw. if i’m being completely honest i don’t think lucas has the same tone or technical ability to fit into ty’s parts in the songs as much as say - sungchan on a pure technical and tone pov (6/21 total performances)

hendery, similar to lucas isn’t in an absurd amount of tracks but still enough to tire a guy out lol. because of him performing full choreos in other songs it doesn’t make sense for him to learn a completely new choreo while simultaneously having to memorize and practice the others songs. also, in a similar vein of lucas, i just don’t think hendery is the first choice when choosing someone to cover ty’s parts (dont kill me hendery and lucas stans lol) (6/21 total performances)

jeno while jeno isn’t in the sheer number of performances as other members, he does end up covering ty’s starting part in maw (see reasoning for jaemin above). this by proxy means he covers the maw part in resonance. while he does a fantastic job covering the starting part, asking him to learn the entirety of boss or 7th sense would be a fuckton of work. u can legit see him yEEt himself out of camera view after his part - not to mention again that he had an hour to practice lol (6/21 total performances) 7/21 covering

jaemin - first off u can literally see jaemin’s energy fall throughout the final song the boy is so tired by aneyway... it makes total sense for him to cover maw as he already knows the choreo and it take less effort than learning an entirely new song. also, when ur comparing popularity/center time between jeno and jaemin vs. hendery (even lucas sometimes) they simply have more, and when u aRe in the center u have to expend more energy becAuse u are holding the performance together (6/21 performances)

yangyang let me get my yangyang simping out of the way, but this boy is so fucking talented and his rap deserves more praise. lightbulb compared to other songs ty is in, is a more melodic and emotional based song. there is no choreo, therefore the person covering the rap just has to focus on the rap itself rather than the rap AND the choreo. imo this was the best possible choice for someone to cover ty’s part in lightbulb (6/21 total) 7/21 covering ty’s part

shotaro shotaro is only in 4/21 performances. it simply makes sense for the rap line member with the fewest songs to perform to learn a a full choreo. as stated above, 7th sense is the more technically difficult of the songs that required learning and covering a full part. assigning shotaro (the dance line member) to the more challenging choreo is just the easy choice -- especially if ya’ll gonna come for sungchan’s dancing skills, give the damn song to shotaro smh (4/21 performances) 5 when covering 7th sense

sungchan tied with shotaro for the fewest performances (just by nature of being the newest members) in the same way that it makes sense for shotaro to learn a full choreo, it makes sense for sungchan. reasoning for the assigned songs above. (4/21 total performacnes) 5 with boss

// the songs where they didn’t have a designated member cover most/all of taeyong’s parts were in the 127 songs as well as in baby don’t stop (ten and taeyong duet). 127 is the most veteran of the nct subgroups, and is in general just more accustomed to filling in parts (ie winwin - screw u sm lol). they have johnny who trained as a rapper who can fill in, jaehyun, haechan, and yuta have all proven that they can cover rap with more a sing-rap style and mark can take/cover parts when it is logistically possible.

// in 127′s songs although ty does often take center and many lines, in general 127 is just a more well rounded group. (don’t come for my ass). in the same way that dream has an undeniable chemistry, 127 is the same way. when you work with the same group of people for an extended period of time without many (if any) changes you just build better chemistry. in nct u taeyong takes more of the spotlight just due to his charisma and raw power. think about it. which performance suffered more due to taeyong’s absence: touch / kick it or make a wish / boss / 7th sense.

also: because 127 is a fixed unit all the boys know the choreo and have consistently performed it at concerts allowing for member to step in where they know they are comfortable without the amount of discussion it might otherwise take in a rotational group

// take a second to think about a certain performance without taeyong in it. it may just be me, but i think 127 fare much better without their leader than any rotational group without taeyong very (firmly ?) bolstering the performance in the center. (taeyong doesn’t hold all these titles for nothing, he is truly another breed)

// in baby don’t stop they didn’t even attempt to cover taeyong’s absence. idk if that was ten putting his foot down and saying that he didn’t want someone covering the part or if it was more of a choice based on marketing and fanservice. baby don’t stop is truly ten and taeyong’s song and idk if even pairing 10 with a dancer with ty’s vocal in the backtrack would have received positive feedback.

if you have somehow made it this far props to you lol. a rant that started because i wanted to defend sungchan has turned into a long analysis of members... whoops.

tldr: just be a decent human being. everyone in nct is human. a talented, multifaceted, human with strengths and weaknesses. being a nctizen doesn’t mean not being proud, disappointed, happy, or any other emotion about the boys. but it does mean treating the boys and other fans with respect.

When you first met Sungchan, it was a rather awkward meeting.

Like he somehow literally ran you over and knocked you down in the middle of the supermarket.

Like he is really so tall he somehow didn’t see you, and he just like completely plowed over you in the middle of the store while reaching for the kind of chips he wanted.

As soon as he realizes you were there and saw you hit the floor he was instantly gobsmacked, like omg he did this, he caused this.

After a moment of initial shock he would instantly become more worried than he really needs to be.

You then received about ten minutes of attention from this stranger as he helped you up, repeatedly apologized, and made sure you were okay.

He’s like one second away from calling an ambulance even though he just knocked you over and it wasn’t that bad.

To an outsider they would think that he hit you with his car with how much he is overreacting and making such a big deal out of seemingly nothing.

You only got his name after he apologized for like ten minutes, then he finally told you his name was Sungchan.

That was the start of an awkward acquaintanceship with him.

The both of you always seemed to run into each other in the supermarket, maybe it was just that you had similar schedules, or maybe he just lived near that certain supermarket.

He would never admit it but after the first meeting, he started coming to that supermarket on purpose hoping he might see you again.

And see you again he did, many times, luckily these times were not because he knocked you over.

It was about the tenth time before something happened that was more than just the both of you acknowledging the other.

Sungchan had been pretty distracted talking to you, somehow over all the coincidently meetings you had started to form somewhat of a friendship.

Out of nowhere someone ran down the aisle, their cart speeding ahead of them as they ran, seeing the cart, you took a step back before tugging Sungchan towards you, out of the path of the cart, that he was so oblivious he hadn’t noticed was coming this way.

After that, the two of you decided maybe there were better places to stop and converse than the middle of the busy supermarket, the both of you instead deciding to meet at the near park.

That was the start of your true friendship, it all started as you were both sitting on the park bench, talking away till well past midnight.

The only reason you stopped talking was once you realized how late it was, both admitting they should probably go home, but not before switching numbers and planning to meet up tomorrow.

Tomorrow turned into next week, which turned into next month, before long, the two of you had been meeting up to hang out for about six months.

Something had changed between the two of you, but it was something you couldn’t point out, and part of you didn’t want to, since what if he didn’t feel the same, what if it ruined your friendship.

You two had plans to meet and go to the park where your friendship first blossomed, but something had came up, causing you to cancel on him unexpectedly, but he understood that sometimes those things happen.

This was the time you realized that maybe it was worth it, you texted him asking him if he wanted to go out on a date with you.

To say he was confused would be an understatement, since instead of what you expected, he replied asking when you wanted to hangout.

After correcting him and a few more texts of confusion from him, he finally understood what you were asking, and the two of you had plans to go on your first official date at one of the cafes in the area.

To say the date went well would be an understatement, the two of you seemed like you had been together longer, well that’s what the elderly café owner said.

That was the first of many dates with him, before the two of you just finally decided to make things official, since by that point you were basically dating, just not officially.

The first time you called Sungchan your boyfriend, he started acting a bit awkward, like you called him something really nice and he didn’t exactly know whether you wanted him to do the same or not.

Before long he finally did call you his significant other, and it didn’t take long for the pet names to start.

Most he says as a joke, like when he calls you his sweet potato pie, but he’ll never admit to you that your name in his contacts is something like babe.

If you say something like pet names are stupid, he’ll agree with you, but still call you babe five seconds later, and the truth is, you don’t really mind that.

Probably does something like purposely leaving his hoodies at your house in the hopes you’ll wear them.

Gets to the point you have like half his hoodies so he has to take some back, but still leaves some for you to wear.

When you first notice he left his hoodie, the first thing you did was text him telling him he forgot it, you were hoping he would comeback to get it, but instead he just told you to bring it next time you two get together, he was hoping you’d wear it, but instead you just brought it in your backpack and gave it to him.

It took him blatantly telling you that he liked seeing you wear his jackets, that you finally realized why he was leaving them and all, since he liked seeing you wear his jackets.

The both of you aren’t big on couple items, like matching outfits and all, no, not for you.

But you both have matching phone charms and couple necklaces, just something small and discrete, like you like it.

Meeting Sungchan’s friends would be crazy, he doesn’t let you meet all 22 at once, he doesn’t want to scare you away, instead he introduces them to you in small doses.

Taeyong and Taeil here, Jaemin and Shotaro there, just two or three at a time, before inviting you around groups of 5 and 6, before long all 22.

It was odd meeting his friends, like wow he has 22 friends, rather than finding that odd, you found yourself more envious than anything, like he has 22 friends that he can go to with stuff, compared to your few.

Most were really nice, and after a few months, you had became close to them as well.

They spare no chance to clown Sungchan, especially since the 23 of you have a group chat without him, it was started as a way to plan his birthday, but soon turned into the Sungchan signal group chat.

It’ll be like 2 in the morning, and one of them will send me a message saying Sungchan mentioned he misses them, or it’ll be 7 at night and one of them will message asking you to come get Sungchan, they won’t admit it but it’s because they are getting tired at him constantly beating them in their video game.

Sungchan might be basically a giant, but he will not pass up an opportunity to cuddle, like you in his arms or he in your arms, yes.

He isn’t shy about it either, like you’ll sit on the sofa by him and somehow five minutes later are tangled up in his arms, laying against his chest.

Also, you both will totally fall asleep like that, like the moment your head hits his chest or his head hits yours, it’s over, like you better not have anything planned other than a like five hour long nap.

The both of you always start movies and tv shows together, but you can never finish them.

You wake up four hours later, Netflix is playing episode 5, but you didn’t even finish episode one before falling asleep.

While laying on his chest, he will play with your hair if you let him, and when he is laying on your chest, he would love it if you played with his hair.

He always tries to show interest in things you like, but sometimes that can be a bit of a problem.

He’ll become literally obsessed with things you vaguely mentioned liking once, and you just don’t have the heart to tell him you don’t like knitting anymore, but like he already got all this knitting stuff and he’s watching knitting youtube tutorials and he’s so excited, that’s how you end up knitting a huge lopsided blanket that stays on your sofa.

He would show a lot of interest in what you like, and honestly if you showed interest in his hobbies, he would be so overdramatic all you don’t need to like what I like, and when you keep pushing it, he finally accepts it, and he just like falls for you even more.

The both of you would get into things that neither of you were in before, but things never last long, the hobbies changing constantly.

Like the leatherworking classes you took weren’t that fun, cheesemaking didn’t last after you found out there wasn’t a tasting section in the class, painting was okay until you both realized you were a little too playful for a class area, and so forth.

When he first meets your parents, he is going to be scared, like what should he bring, what should he say, how should he act, the whole thing.

He probably shows up with like twenty things for your parents, like he didn’t know what kind of wine they like, so he bought red, white, rose, champagne, and nonalcoholic, he didn’t know what flowers your mom would like, so he brings a bouquet bigger than really needed, probably also brings some dessert or something else.

Meeting your parents was extremely stressful to him, however all would go well, he would enchant your parents as he had you, and his worry was unfounded.

Meeting his parents would be easy, he would have probably already introduced you to them at some point before having dinner with them the first time, that would easily accept you without question.

The first time he kisses you will probably be straight out of a drama, like spare the cherry blossoms that just happen to be falling, straight out of a drama.

It would probably be after a date, just as the night is starting, you’d notice him staring near your mouth a lot, before you just tell him he can kiss you if he wants to.

He would be embarrassed you caught him doing that, but nonetheless, kiss you anyways.

His kisses would be tentative, he’d be hesitant not wanting to cross any boundaries or go too far.

Rather than kissing your lips, he’d probably kiss the edge of your lips or your cheek more than likely.

Will kiss you all over your face everywhere but your lips, then when you get impatient you kiss him, he’s just like now calm down there needy.

Can and will tease you for anything and everything, but also knows when to stop.

He’ll do it for a laugh from you, but never go so far it makes you mad or angry at him.

If you two were mad at each other and fighting, he’d probably try to avoid the problem in all.

Like he’d isolate himself from you, going somewhere you aren’t, even if that means leaving the house, to keep from making it worse.

He wouldn’t be the first to apologize, he’d probably wait for you to, and when you don’t since you weren’t wrong, he’d talk about it to his friends and receive 22 comments calling him a dumbass that needs to apologize or at least work through it.

He would then apologize after he realizes how stupid he has been being.

Fights might last a day or so, but rarely over a week, both of you just mutually agree you are right and that the argument is a draw since you miss each other but neither will admit they are wrong.

Would love treating you to something after any argument, or even just him thinking you are mad at him.

Like you didn’t give him his usual good morning kiss, therefore you must be mad at him, so he offers to take you to a cat cafe or dog cafe or something so you aren’t mad at him anymore.

Overthinks everything, like you fail to text him good morning one day, and within thirty minutes he is on your doorstep with tea or coffee, flowers, and your favorite pastry asking for your forgiveness for whatever he did.

He then feels like an idiot when you tell him the only reason you hadn’t texted him yet was because you overslept.

The king of, ask for forgiveness instead of permission regarding everything.

He shows up with a puppy without telling you he adopted one and is just like sorry I just thought we needed this little face in our lives, can you tell her no.

Or he rearranges your living room one day when you are at work and later is just like, you said you wanted to remodel your room, I did it so you wouldn’t have to waste the energy doing it.

You like that however, and you end up doing it as well.

It gets to the point that neither of you knows what they might walk into.

Like is Sungchan painting a room blue or are you bringing home twelve stray cats, who knows.

Sungchan would probably love cooking with you, even if you can’t cook, he has no problem teaching you.

He probably can’t cook much, but still will teach you the 3 recipes he knows, and in exchange wants you to teach him recipes you know.

Will go out of his way to learn to make things from your culture if it isn’t the same as his.

He might mess it up a few times, but he’ll try his best which is what matters.

He’d be the most helpful around the house, pretty much doing whatever you ask him to without question.

Like ask him to clean the bathroom while you clean the kitchen, just show him the supplies and he’s got it.

He wouldn’t allow you to clean the house alone, he has to help, even if you are just like oh I’m almost done, he’s just like no must help.

The way he sees it, the faster the cleaning gets done, the quicker the cuddling and watching tv can happen.

Despite how helpful he can be, there would also be little things he does that you hate.

Putting cups on the top shelf since he can reach them, but not thinking about you being unable to since you are shorter than him.

Putting everyday items on the highest shelf since it’s not the highest shelf to him, but you aren’t six feet tall like him.

He doesn’t do it on purpose, it’s just a habit of his he can’t seem to break, he doesn’t even really think when he does it, he just does it without thinking, hey I wonder if they can reach things.

It wouldn’t be until you fall off the counter trying to get a mug and he ends up bandaging your wounds and helping you get better that he realizes what he does.

From then on he promises to put all the stuff on lower shelves, like something about you getting injured trying to reach the items he put on the highest shelf just rubs him wrong and he makes it his mission from then on to never use the highest shelf.

Well, there are a few exceptions, he’d probably hide presents he gets you on the top shelf in a way you can’t see it.

Most wouldn’t do that, like hiding a Christmas present in the top shelf in the kitchen, just asking for the person it is for to find it, but if you can’t see it, you can’t find it.

Would get oddly hyped for the holidays, like you don’t know what but each and every holiday he’s gotta go all out.

Pink and red hearts, flowers, candles, and candies everywhere for Valentine’s Day.

Spiders, webs, and all everywhere for Halloween.

Lights, trees, and all everywhere for Christmas.

Has a Christmas tree in every room, luckily most are small and just like sitting on a shelf.

Maximum mistletoe on the ceiling for maximum kisses.

Can and will purposely get you stuck under the mistletoe and not let you move until you kiss him.

Gets really into all the holiday stuff, like baking and all as well.

Doesn’t just build a gingerbread house with you, makes a whole gingerbread village and gives all the gingerbread people names and backstories.

Gets devastated when you eat Mr. Kim first since Mrs. Kim has already suffered enough, she lost both her children in a car wreck just weeks ago and has now lost her husband, completely confuses you and it ends in him explaining everyone and their dynamics to you.

Loves taking you to all those events that are only season, can not miss a single one either.

Taking you to Christmas markets, ice skating, summer fairs, spring festivals, fall fest, and all.

Will win or buy you at least one thing you didn’t need at each event.

Will waste fifty dollars playing fair games to win you the biggest teddy bear despite you telling him a hundred times you don’t need another bear.

Before long you start to run out of room so it’s like either build a shed, rent a storage room, or just start winning smaller things, so he decides maybe he doesn’t always have to win you the biggest bear.

He would enjoy being with you at events like this, just wishing he had a way to document it other than just in his memory, one of his friends would then be like um cameras exist and he’s finally just like oh yeah.

Takes photos of you all the time, probably decides one day he wants to make you a scrapbook, but he just loves all the photos of you too much he can’t pick a few, so he just makes you a dvd with all the photos on it.

Really big on putting photos of you, maybe photos of you both if you talk him into it, around the house.

Your house looks like a middle aged couple’s house with photos of your children all on the wall, but if you look closely, it’s just your animals and you both.

In the end, you two would just be a soft cute couple.

okay listen,,, y'all are probably tired over these things and i'm working on a j.jaehyun fic but renjun suddenly attacked me and i want to cry over him.

i feel like to you, you would've never known that renjun liked you and it was hard to tell. but to his friends, they would automatically know when he either talks to you or the way he looks at you.

because he doesn't have that fiery gaze at you and doesn't have the urge to roast you. unlike the way he looks at his friends. wHIPPED-

so nct dream being themselves, they would tease him AND you. and when they do you're just ???? what's with all of these teasing about renjun and i???

but after a week, it came to you that renjun likes you. or that perhaps donghyuck low key snitched,,, he doesn't mean in a bad way !! donghyuck wanted to just tease you both (mainly renjun) when you two become a couple. and start arguments with renjun. but shh you never heard that from me.

but after that, let's say you reach in for a kiss on the lips. he would PURPOSELY move away for joking purposes. renjun would laugh at his action and would actually kiss you this time around.

other than that, i can't really see him anything more than that? maybe make outs but i'm not comfortable writing suggestive(?) stuff. (even when i don't know how to kiss LMAO)

okay renjun is an aries, he easily gets heated and it's hard for him to keep the anger in. other than bantering, i don't think you would actually make him mad.

perhaps that he was having a bad day and you just kept on pestering him which makes renjun lash out.

after the fight.

just give him a few hours of space and he’ll be fine! you weren't the main cause of his grumpiness and he would feel bad that he slightly let it out on you. (he wouldn't really show him feeling bad though?)

it would be hard for him to apologize but of course you're the love of his life so he does apologize! (let's hope you'll accept his apology though djdb)

and everything is back to normal again!

perhaps this will happen again but now you'll know not to pester him as much. we wouldn't want another angry renjun do we?

when you're sad!

renjun wouldn't really know what to do, he wouldn't speak to you about it unless you would want to. until then he would just be more quiet and calm? renjun would hold back the urge to tease and roast you, it wouldn't even be on his mind to be honest. but if someone made you sad? oh gosh that person has 21 people to deal with now because there's no way renjun would let that slide.

he would probably be like “fiGHT ME” to the person until kun pulls him away before renjun could get into trouble.

but other than that, he would try to be more witty and funny in order for you to laugh and forget about what you're sad about. he would slightly spoil you a bit more if the sadness surpasses a few days.

perhaps like making your favorite food, or tell you about stupid things donghyuck does.

i would say it works about 75%, depending on the story.

overall!

on a normal day, he would lovingly roast the hell out of you. but at the same time he would fight anyone who would hurt you, no second thoughts.

although he is high tempered and doesn't really show affection in the beginning. please be patient with him! after a few months of dating, he would really appreciate that. and slowly but surely give you more love as time passes on!

but she’s a princess

i definitely feel like hendery would be an amazing girl dad

like he has a lot of sisters

so i feel like he really understands girls well

like the first time he changed her diaper?

out of all of the babies, xiuying is the giggliest

like i feel like even when she cries, she’ll giggle

like all of the kids love him

and its the same especially when it came to his daughter

there honestly would not be a day without laughter

like xiuying would manage to make you laugh

like she was such a gorgeous baby

she inherited hendery’s HUGE eyes

but like her siblings just naturally listen to her

she becomes a model/comedian/tv personality

like jaehyun’s son, jung leon, she’s just so beautiful and so funny lol

she honestly could care less abt like being super “feminine” and stuff to maintain her model image yknow?

she probably tried to reserved and calm and such

but her personality just is too powerful lmao

she would slip a lot

her manager would scold her and stuff whenever she did slip up

and it got to the point where her manager just gave up lmao

they just let her do as she pleased and she skyrocketed in personality after that

but yeah, tbh, she really does take her career seriously

like super duper seriously

xiuying wants to live an honest life tbh

like she takes her career seriously, but when her manager told her to maintain a pristine image, she didn’t sit well with it

bc the image they wanted her to maintain is simply not her

she talked to her manager abt it and they understood and let her do as she pleases

and it really did help everyone in the end

she’s still zhangwei’s best friend

zhangwei joins a band and he’s the lead singer

xiuying knows zhangwei better than anyone tbh

they def don’t get together tho

like they’re the best example of platonic, heterosexual, best friends

to be 100% honest

xiuying has a huge thing for the drummer of his band lmao

ofc she goes to zhangwei’s concerts to support him

but her true reason to go is to see the drummer lol

everyone gets along so well with her

like literally no one seems to have anything bad abt her

if they do and they talk abt it, she’ll just agree lmao

like someone will say “your nose is too big.”

and she’s like “yeah, my nose is pretty big. it’s okay, it allows me to smell yummy food easier and better then.”

“your eyes resemble the eyes of donkey from shrek”

and she’ll be like “omG REALLY? HE’S MY FAVORITE CHARACTER THANK YOU SM”

she takes hate the best out of all of the kids

like if someone is struggling bc they get some hate comments, she swoops in and pats them on the back and is like “dw. xiuying is here. let me teach you how to deal with the haters.”

but yeah, she’s really goofy and so gorgeous and just a well loved person :,)

he also inherited hendery’s big eyes

his eyes are lowkey kinda creepy

like it was endearing with xiuying bc she smiled a lot

but mochou is super duper serious lmao

like he loves to stare

but overtime, when he smiled more, it became endearing lol

for sure, hendery and xiuying’s reactions were the best lol

like hendery and xiuying would be playing with mochou, trying to get him to smile

mochou was really good at playing on his own

she’ll bring him the most random things and just explain everything she knows about it

mochou was most definitely cared for by xiuying

he was just a sweetheart who creeped you out from time to time

mochou is amazing at carrying conversations

like he’s is a pretty social bee and loves to talk to everyone

he loves to tell everyone everything

mochou belongs to the 127 squad

meaning he’s best friends with jaehyun’s son, jung leon, jungwoo’s second daughter, kim jieun, and haechan’s second daughter, lee haeun

when the 4 of them are together

you need at least 10 people watching them

by themselves? they have a ton of energy

all together? oh no

when he does get tired, he loves to draw

mochou is naturally talented at drawing

in all forms that require creativity, mochou is naturally talented in all of it

he was naturally really good at singing

he was naturally really good at learning instruments

he was naturally really good at painting, sketching, drawing, doodling

he was naturally really good at writing

mochou has a lot in his brain and the best way he could get it out was through drawing and painting

even tho as a baby, he was kinda stoic and such, he made of for it as a child

he became just a smilie as xiuying

xiuying and mochou have the sweetest relationship

xiuying likes to scold mochou even if he’s not doing anything wrong

mochou just smiles and listens to his sister.

even his younger sister liked to torment him a bit

but tbh, he would just take it

he loves his sisters to death

he would let them play with him as they’d like, he was honestly just chill about it

hendery would sometimes take mochou on “man” dates

but tbh

it’d just be the two of them getting ice cream or something like that lol

hendery grew up with a ton of sisters so like I def feel like he would be a little confused with how to raise his son

hendery loved mochou for who he is

omg, both boys would be so whipped for the girls tho

like if hendery was watching all of the kids, he would for sure end up dressed up as a princess

when you came home, hendery would have a princess dress on him that def doesn’t fit bc it’s xiuying’s dress

mochou would be covered in head to toe with makeup

and hendery would be talking in his girl voice about being the beautiful queen of the land

he honestly follows in akari’s footsteps bc like she has a bit more experience in this field than he does

mochou for sure works in the same animation studio she works at

and together, they just build the coolest worlds ever

they def have their own ideas and stuff

but like if they work on a project together

they lowkey can just sync up and like they barely need words

everyone else who works in the animation studio is like???

bc like akari would talk to mochou for like 2 min

and then he just nods and starts drawing

then she starts drawing too

and like the characters from the drawings look virtually identical

it’s crazyy

out of all of the friendships of kids, lina and zhangjing are the most talkative

they maintained their friendship even tho they took two different career paths

zhangjing was the baby of the group for a couple years, all before the next wave came (this “wave” refers to the on the way families!)

Because he isn't so tall himself, he really loves that you're so small (finally he can feel like the hyungnim he is). You being short is just another excuse for him to baby you to be honest. Always tells you how cute you are when you complain about your height. Loves to press his cheek against the top of your head when you're hugging and leave a kiss on your hair.

Johnny:

This giant adores your smallness. You practically reach his knee, but he loves it. Laughs whenever you have to jump to kiss him or when you stand on your tip toes to hug his waist. Doyoung doesn't really tease you or act all soft for you because of your height. He's just soft for you in general lol but your shortness isn't something he thinks about alot. Do you ever just like think about how nice it would be to be bestfriends with some idols?

Like Seoho from Oneus. The most adorkable bestfriend ever. You would have movie nights and hes let you borrow his sweaters If you wanted and hes get all shy about it. Hed treat you so nice and feel bad about him being an idol sometimes getting in the way for your friendship and hes call you almost every night so you two dont miss a single thing. Or how he'd willingly cuddle you if you wanted because he like to make sure you feel safe with him.

Or Mark from NCT. And how youd have the worlds most soft and loving bestfriend. He'd be by your side as much as he can and can always tell when something is wrong (even over call or text). Since he's always working and barely get time off (fuck you SM) hed probably would have bought you a stuffie/plush and gives you a sweater of his (is it just me or is stealing your bestfriends sweater the best?) And when you call him crying either being you were having a bad night or because you missed him he'd tell you to wear his sweater, if you weren't already, and to cuddle the plush he got you and sleep/nap. Also I feel like he'd give great hugs and would probably cuddle you if you wanted (I want a Mark)

Minho from Stray Kids. Just pure crackhead vibes together. Never a dull moment with him and it will always be like that. Extremely caring but doesn't exactly show it. THE KID RLLY SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME but someone said it's anyone from chewing gum era nct dream so idfk lmao it could be chenle or something bcs he seems to be the bridge between nct dream and wayv. and to talk abt chenle, yo, he's the first one who woke up from the dream in we go up mv and it's bcs he knows!! he knows abt the parallel universe and wayv themselves so when mark woke up, abt to leave their group of friends /bcs he'll have to stick with nct 127 now/, chenle begs help from him to save their friends and get them out of this world and that's what mark does, as an nct 127 member.

taeyong hinted about the colors about his dream from nctmentary. and to talk abt regular mv, LISTEN, winwin and jungwoo had prominent roles here. winwin was shown on a roof and falling, and the whole scene is colored. colored means either reality or a dream, i don't know, we about to figure that out. on the other hand, jungwoo fell too, and his falling scene is black and white. then later on, he takes off the harness as if nothing happened. THIS IS IT, FOLKS, this is rlly the representation of jungwoo entering nct 127 and winwin leaving nct 127 because he fell in his dreams. he fell, and somehow it became a reality, and wormhole said hello.

the casette recorder from switch mv appeared again, this time in both versions of regular mvs. both are yellow. in the eng ver, yuta placed it in the car while on the kor ver, mark inserted the radio. it's the same one in nctmentary, and they use it to see, record and view their dreams. it explains how they enter their dreams in regular mv (!! lyrics of the two versions are different. kor ver is the reality, speaking up abt their sass and struggles regarding life. eng ver is their dream, 'i just made a million and im still not satisfied')

on the third episode of nctmentary, haechan was surrounded by cameras. i assume those cameras record their dreams, and one of them is spotted in regular mv. even the TV in markyong's barber shop says that they are, literally, in a dream.

!!! during simon says era, winwin wasn't included in the choreography anymore nor he was with them during promotions, which implies he really has left. in fact, there indeed was a scene in simon says mv that showed how winwin fell to the wormhole. that's how winwin ended up leaving nct 127, as reaffirmed in regular mv, and eventually joined wayv in their world.

superhuman mv analysis gives me anxiety – haechan is still bored, but he has woken up from his dreams and stood up from where he left off in wakey wakey. everyone is exceeding their limits. they're becoming superhumans just to overcome the portal and reach the other end of the universe. it becomes clear in this mv that nct 127 are in a world that is not real, considering that their settings are glitching, beyond extraordinary and technologically centered. johnny is shown to be at the center of that portal thing and that proves how he really is testing things out, handling dream lab and examining stuffs through. and moreover, jungwoo is disintegrating speaks a lot. he's in the same position as xiaojun was in takeoff mv, so he might've been transferred to the other portal as the group's scientific testing.

im rlly anxious but imagine this scenario. what if uh, wayv arrives at nct 127's world using the plane in take off mv, but then at the same time nct 127 finds the way to get out of their dreams and escape their non-reality world to get to meet the others. so they cross paths and never meet – imagine.

some theorists also say that they're supposed to meet through their dreams... and they did. it sounds impossible to direct i rlly think most of the nct member's relationship are jumbled; take for an example, jungwoo, yukhei and winwin's relationship. first off, boss mv is a dream wherein they met. the final moment winwin had with nct 127 happened at the same time when jungwoo showed up and entered nct 127. then winwin unknowingly fell into the wormhole ('unknowingly' = they didnt know until it was reported in dream launch) and met yukhei on the other world. + another example is ten. ten is uncertainly the bridge between all four units. he most likely got to meet nct dream in dream in a dream mv, but no, he didn't, probably bcs the dream in a dream setting led to another world. nct dream, through that purple-lighted room, managed to go through that house. and later on, ten is shown standing on the house but in ruins. ten, through new heroes setting, met wayv and joined in their world. at the beginning, ten shows up in 7th sense (!! everyone in 7th sense is dreaming ok).

black on black is probably a dream. of course it's a dream, clarified by those black balancy balls and stuffs, and it's a dream where they're all together as they wished so.

!!! just to clarify that the ending of all of these mess is supposed to be kun's dream from nctmentary. listen here they're supposed to go through rough roads and such like the staircase from kun's dream before they all meet again in one place, not separated by planets. so, in conclusion, wherever they meet alltogether as one, it's their world.

[ nct dream reaction ] → sitting next to their crush at an award show

⌜ mark ⌟

mark would try to start a conversation with you and try to become friends because you never know if your crush is ever going to sit next to you again, but the thing is, he’s blushing so hard and keeps stuttering so he thinks he’s messing everything up. you, on the other hand, think it’s very cute!!! you happily carry the conversation for him which gives him the confidence to ask you out at the end of the award show, to which you say, “i’d love to.” he can’t stop thinking about you for the rest of the day and stops paying attention to the award show because he just can’t wait to take you out on a date!!

⌜ renjun ⌟

renjun probably asked to switch seats with jisung so he could sit next to you haha. the boys tease him about it, but renjun likes to pretend he doesn’t hear them. anyway, he’s really friendly and kind to you the whole time you two are sitting next to each other. you can’t even tell he has a crush on you because it just looks like he’s being nice to you and wants to be friends. you’re the one who asks for his number, which suprises him but makes him feel relieved since he doesn’t have to be the one to it. for the rest of the award show, he thinks about all the ways he can tell you he likes you and ask you out. and he probably does ask you out, over text, the same day but sends the text in the middle of the night because he spent the whole day thinking about the perfect way to ask.

jeno wants to look all cool and professional in front of you but it’s hard because he might just explode from sitting next to you. he likes you so much and he’s trying so hard, please notice him omg :( when haechan tells him that’s not how you get someone’s attention and that he should talk to you instead, he tries to talk to you about the award show. once again haechan tells him that won’t work because, “that’s the most boring thing ever, no one wants to talk about that. just ask them out,” so he does, and to his suprise you say “yes” which makes him happy and he’s becomes a smiley boy for the rest of the day :D

haechan is freaking out on the inside. is he sitting too close to you? is he being too loud? what if he does something wrong? he’s very polite with you the whole time because he doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable. you can hear the boys tease him for the way he acts with you but you just think that’s him trying to be friends. the whole time he thinks about asking you for your number but gets too shy and backs out last minute. then when it’s time to leave, he realizes that he waited too long and needed to ask you right then and there. “uh.... umm, isitokayifigetyournumber?” he asks, nervously. “i’m sorry, what did you say?” he starts sweating. “is it okay if i get your number?” he says again. “oh, sure!” you smile at him and take out your phone. he feels relieved when you say yes and asks you out over text later that day!

⌜ jaemin ⌟

if you sat next to him, jaemin would flirt with you for sure. he’s so obvious about his crush on you. like, he occasionally tells you (bad) pickup lines and makes flirty comments at you. at first you ignore the (bad) pickup lines and flirty comments, thinking that’s how he’s like with everyone, but then jeno pulls you aside and says, “i can’t take it anymore!!! jaemin has a crush on you, please go out with him,” and you’re like, “huh???” which leads to jeno exposing jaemin’s crush on you. you two go back to your seats but you can’t stop thinking about what jeno told you, so when jaemin tries to flirt with you, you accidentally blurt out, “will you go out with me?” and start apologizing until jaemin asks, “what do you think of a date tomorrow?” (say yes, i’m begging you)

⌜ chenle ⌟

chenle doesn’t think anything of it at first. all you two are doing is sitting next to each other, it’s not a big deal. but then he figures out that this is a great opportunity to try to get closer to you, his crush! he tries to come up with any excuse he can use to talk to you and says things like, “woah, do you see that fly over there?” or “do you think i could balance this water bottle on my head if i was on stage while dancing?” and you’re like, “what???” but he’s on to something so you let it slide. he tries to subtly ask for your number somewhere in between one of those weird sentences, which sounds like, “yeah, i was born on the 22nd. speaking of numbers, can i have yours?” (how smooth) and you give it to him.

⌜ jisung ⌟

jisung has probably tried to talk to you five times in the past half hour but he keeps chickening out haha. he’s just so nervous around you!!! he tries to ask chenle for help so chenle suddenly pushes him onto you. “chenle, what are you doing? omg ah!! i’m so sorry, are you okay?” he asks. “yeah, i’m oka— park jisung???” wait what... he’s suprised. “you know me?” you nod and tell him, “i’m a big fan!” which starts a conversation between you two (thanks chenle) and you and jisung start to become friends! at the end of the award show, he asks for your number so you two can hang out together another time! (it’s a date <3)

PAPER HOUSE - NAKAMOTO YUTA

HI! So, this is inspired by an Spanish Netflix series called Money Heist or La Casa de Papel in Spanish and while watching it I couldn't help to picture this scenario, so I hope you like it.

Disclaimer: Violence, mention of drugs kinda and shooting as well as swearing and angst.

Sorry if this sounds weird or you don't like it, I am a very bad writer

Your heart was beating so fast you couldn't process correctly what was exactly happening, when all of you ended up sorrounded by guns, blood and death in the air, the only thing you knew for sure was how this all started. Johnny had contacted you years prior to help him with an "special and secret request", no biggie... You agreed, after all he was like your big brother of all time so, why not? He promised you would be safe.

Yeah, safe. You knew really well what was his job since he was 16 years old and left the town you two grew together as brother and sister, only to find out by text days later that he was in a gang, a mafia gang. To be honest, you were terrified that he could die but he convinced you (slowly tbh) that the gang had one golden rule: NEVER KILL ANYONE, weird for a mafia gang but all they wanted was to fight the government without the death or pain of others. So, there you were, inside a cabin very hidden in the woods, sitting in the living room waiting impatient for your big bro who you haven't seen in over 5 years or so...

When he came in, you were a mess of a hug and happiness, 5 years for two best friends were a long time after all, and he proudly introduced you to all his gang: Taeil, the oldest, the kindest and the doctor (for good and for bad, you know, medicine kill people sometimes). Jungwoo, the hacker but actually a cute baby, this guy could hack into any government's sistem in less than 5 minutes. Mark, the gun guy, this bubbly kid was in charge of providing guns and teaching how to use them. Haechan, Mark's right hand as well known as the spy of the gang. This kid, omg this kid... He was able to be so incredibly sneaky NO ONE could guess he was getting into your office, for example. Jaehyun, a very very VERY handsome guy who was in charge of the dealing. This meaning, he dealed drugs, yes, but also made really good deals with other gangs, persuading them so that (obviously) NCT could win at any time or cost having their names and hands as clean as possible, and let me tell you he was GOOOOOOD. Doyoung, the master printer. He was a pro in printing fake money, he could make millions in minutes and his cold personality just made him more interesting but scary. And last but not least, the liders, Taeyong and Yuta.

Taeyong and Yuta... These two were the best of the best, although Taeyong seemed more like the leader because he had more patience and was more calm so he handled the situations a lot better sometimes, he also liked having everything in control. And Yuta well, he was an expert in everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. This guy, who was attractive as hell, could make any of the other gang members tasks with the blink of an eye, but he handled mostly all of the transactions, he made all the plans, he planed all the movements with all the possible things or alternatives that could go wrong. He was impressive.

And Johnny, well as he was the last to enter this family, he is the subdirector if you will, as well as the "bodyguard".

When you met them all, you felt warm and welcomed, but when it was your turn to hug Yuta, something inside you made butterflies go off in your belly and you could feel your checks got red as a tomato. Embarrassing. Surprisingly, as time passed, you and Yuta were getting along pretty well, like there was some kind of connection hidden between you two. You just, made click.

And now, here you are three years later in you first encounter with the police, but this actually was not at all like the other times. These time, it was for sure they wanted some violence to end this, and they would not hesitate to shoot someone as they had all the gang sorrounded, both sides threating to shoot at any moment. You felt really dissy and you wanted to vomit so bad, but the adrenaline was floating towards you while you tried to hide you fear.

When you got to the cabin, Johnny and Taeyomg explained that they would train for their big moment. Yuta said that the training time would be for around two to three years or so depending on how well they could see the progress, to assault nonetheless that Seoul's main bank. Yuta had it all planed, he explained every single detail while he showed you and all the gang the strategies and moves with a paper structure that represented the bank very neatly, and they wanted to help the people with this, printing as much money as they could in the lapse of 1 week so they could have the money they deserve and the gang would be rich, sneaking out of the country for ever, having thousands of millions of dollars in their bank accounts for life. And the reason why they wanted you there it was very simple, Johnny wanted you to come with him so you could have some money but also for your intelligence and fighting skills. Yuta was surprised when he started to explain the plan and you completed it as if it was too obvious, but only for someone like you. Hopefully the government wouldn't think the same as you because if they did, they were doomed.

And so, something even Yuta could not have planned, the police found a way in by having someone inside the bank who was a victim hidden in a secret room. Somehow he managed to tell them how to get in, caughting all of guard.

The gang were all pointing each to a police officer meanwhile you were hidden behind Yuta's back, giving a quick glance to your engagement ring while thinking what to do.

-Give us all the victims you have inside and the government will consider you to have maybe half of your penalty!

-Ha! Yeah right, so instead of giving us approximately 432 years of all of our crimes, you would give us... Let's say... 178 years perhaps. - Yuta scoffed as he laughed a little bit not moving at all, but a bad feeling was getting installed inside of him. He took a quick look to a police man next to him who was supposed to be pointing at Jungwoo who was next to him, but actually was pointing very secretly at you at you knew it.

They where all not giving in, as expected and as the plan was said to do so, it happened. You heard a gun being loaded and being quickly turned to Yuta's chest so you didn't think about it and pushed him out of the way as the gun shoot sounded all over the place.

-NO! Y/N!!!!

The voice sounded so far as you felt nothing but cold coming into your body. Suddenly, you felt the ground in your back as many gun shots were being heard. Your breathing was getting quite difficult as you felt some pain in your lower belly area, you lifted your hand a little bit to see it was covered in red. It was blood, your blood. And you were losing a lot. Taeil appeared in your blurry vision as he said some things you couldn't even understand.

-Come on Y/N, don't close your eyes and stay with me, okay? Everything will be fine, just don't close your eyes. Your fine, your fine... - Taeil said as he was getting ready to keep you alive no matter what.

You didn't even realize when it was that the doors had been closed, all the gang surrounding you and all the police officers where gone... Well all except one.

Yuta was pissed and furious to say the least, his blood was boiling as he was hitting the police man who shoot you with nothing but anger.

- YOU FILTHY MOTHERFUCKER, LISTEN TO ME YOU DISGUSTING BASTARD! - Yuta said grabbing him by the shirt really strong, getting him so close to his body, clenching his jaw so hard it could break - You shoot the love of my life, you see her?! Good! That girl is the one for me, we were getting married in one month to be happy for the rest of our lives and I swear to you, if something bad happens to her... If somethimg bad happens, I'm gonna look out for you and torture you each and every single day just so you feel how I'm feeling right now! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!

-Yuta...

- I SAID DO - YOU - UNDERSTAND?!

- YUTA!

-WHAT TAEYONG, WHAT DO YOU WANT RIGHT NOW??!! - he said looking to his best friend still not letting go of the guy who hurted you.

-It's Y/N...

You woke up in a very white and bright room. Your body felt really tired and sore, you felt thirsty but a contact in your hand made you look slowly to your right and there he was, the love of your life holding you while sleeping in a chair. He looked so tired you just wanted to let him sleep, but you just couldn't. As hard as you could, you squeezed his hand and Yuta opened his eyes in shook. He looked at you in surprise and just smiled so bright and big it made you heart race.

-Baby, you are awake! Oh my God, you are awake! - he said as tears filled his eyes getting closer to you, giving you a soft and caring kiss in your forehead filled with so much love. Then, he proceeded to kiss your hand and your engagement ring.

-I missed you to... - you said almost in a whisper while you smiled, carecing his cheeck in a weak attempt, but stilled worked.

-Thank God you are okay, I was so scared I thought I would die and I just-I couldn't Y/N, I couldn't picture what it would be without you in my life because I can assure it would be dark, yes very dark and a mess and i-

-Shhhhhh! - you said giggling a little bit- Listen love, you are not getting rid of me that easy...

Taeil entered the room with a smile.

-Ah! Y/N! You are finally awake! That's amazing, how are you feeling?

-I actually feel good, thank you very much doctor - you said as you winked at him, causing Taeil to laugh cutetly.

-I'm glad to hear that, I wanted to tell you that you and the baby are both just fine!

Taeil couldn't help but laugh at you and Yuta's expression.

-I beg your pardon?

-Who and who are fine now?

-Y/N! You are pregnant! And I'm hoping is Yuta's baby-ow!!!!

Yuta had hit Taeil in the arm while you were still processing everything...

-I guess I'll leave you two alone, and on my way getting a new arm, thanks...

After Taeil left, you looked at your fiance quite nervous.

- I-I swear I didn't know...

-I know baby...

-Do... Do you want to have it? I mean him? Her! I-

Yuta started laughing so cute you looked at him quite confused.

-Please tell me the joke cause I'm not getting it...

-Love, you are the cutest person I've ever met and I love it - he said kissing your head - of course I wanna have a child with you, I want everything with you... - and with that, he kissed your lips sealing the promise that no matter what happened, you would be together forever, and he would make sure it stayed that way. It was his plan.
