2. Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple is one of the most famous temples in Kerala. Built-in Dravidian style architecture, this temple dates back to 8th century and is considered as one of the oldest Vishnu temples in the country. The beautiful temple structure, stone carvings, and murals pull tourists around the year, but maximum footfall of devotees is seen during Alpashy festival in October and November and Panguni festival in March and April.

 7.Udiyanoor Devi Temple
Udiyanoor Devi Temple is another place of worship in Thiruvananthapuram. It is a famous Shiva temple in Kerala for Hindus. The shrine of Udiyanoor Devi has four hands, holding weapons with the gesture of Shiva and Vaishnava together. Other deities worshipped in this temple are Lord Ganesha, Nagaraja, Dharma Sastha and Sri Madan Thampuran. This is perhaps the only temple in Kerala, which faces north direction. The major festivals celebrated here are Urootu Mahotsav, Pongala Mahotsav, and Thrikkodiyettu. Built 1300 years ago, this is one of the oldest temples in Kerala.

After having breakfast on the third day of tour, you will come out to experience the pleasing weather of Munnar and we will, as usual, make you visit some of the best places of this city. Here you would be seeing Mattupetty Dam and Farm, Pallivasal, Devikulam, lock Heart Gap, Nyayamakad, Eravikulam National Park, Rajamala, Echo Point, Power House Waterfalls and Thommankuthu Waterfalls. In the evening, we will drive you back to your hotel for another overnight stay.

Munnar To Thekkedy (Periyar)
On the fourth day of this pleasing journey, you will again move 100 km forward to reach Thekkedy, which is also known as Periyar, it is known as one of the best wild life sanctuaries of India. A wide range of flora, fauna and unique birds can be seen on its determined sights. However, a wild life sanctuary is not all there is to see. The huge spice plantation, where almost all the spices you use in your kitchen are available, attracts a big population from all over the world.
Addition to this excellent day will be the cruise through the waters of Periyar Lake, from where the view to its wild world full of elephants is much more pleasing.

This morning, we will drive 140 km to Kumarakom. This Vembanad Lake-based island cluster attracts more and more visitors through the essence of its lush vegetation and great climate. After arriving here, a short trip to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and a house boat jetty ride will do enough to refresh you for further journey.
