I'm a little obsessed with the fact that you love songs like centuries and champion, which are like destined to be whatever the opposite of a fan favorite is because it's so radio baity which doesn't mean I think they're bad by the way but fans will always be destined to like deep cuts and hate the more..... epic sportsgame songs. or hate whatever the most popular song is because like OK you know that one, but clearly their best song is some hidden gem only I like

i’m trying to think about how to answer this because the beginning makes me believe you don’t have any bad intentions with this ask but then i read the end and i’m like… okay…? i think that of course when you’re a diehard fan your fav songs aren’t gonna be the singles, because there’s so much more to explore and love, but i don’t think that makes the singles any less amazing. i think champion is such an amazing uplifting song, and to me it brings a lot of hope into my life. as far as centuries goes i think that is such an impactful lyrical song, it’s a clear gateway into fob, and it gives you a little slice of pete wentz without even knowing him. i could go on about centuries, i won’t here, but what i’m saying is that these songs aren’t any less good because they’re singles. i don’t think they have to be your favorites and i want to make it clear i don’t care if champion isn’t your favorite, i just think it’s kinda shitty to be like “champion deserves to be last” like ??? what did the song do to you?
