Thank you to @thejaneclub for inviting my daughter and I to The NYDJ Family Festival in New Orleans. From the moment I stepped in the doors at919 Esplanade Ave, I felt at home. From the musky, woodsy smell, the beautiful mahogany floors, the mantelpieces, staircases and Nola inspired hospitality were reminders of life in New Orleans before Katrina. The Jane Club gift of childcare was a priceless gift. I literally can go on and about your fabulous space created by women that's for women. I was sadly disappointed after I was informed that Jane Club would not have a New Orleans location after I filled out the application to become ahaving. I was informed this was planned for Essence weekend only?? . . . As a single mother of an eight-year-old without a family unit here in New Orleans, I can attest that you all need to bring a Jane Club here! Please, 🙌🏾 The event was beautiful. Thank you for having us. . .
