would you write a part two to whimsy!reader totally knowing remus’ secret? i feel like r would be so sweet and casual about it that remus would cry
Thanks for requesting!
cw: post-moon werewolf Remus, mention of blood and wounds (no description)
poly!marauders x whimsical!reader ♡ 1.4k words
The boys usually send you away this time of month. They try to be subtle about it, encouraging you to go visit your family or sleep over at a friend’s house, but you’re not one to let the full moon pass you by without notice. It didn’t take long for the pattern to reveal itself.
Still, you don’t argue when James gifts you tickets for you and a friend to see a band you like out of town. You know they’re all most comfortable doing things the way they always have, and you worry that letting slip what you know would do more harm than good; Remus would be anxious and upset, and the other boys would only be doing more damage control than they’re used to with you around. So, you let the full moon pass you by without complaint.
The next day, however, when you know James and Sirius will have gone to work and left Remus to rest and heal, you sneak into your apartment.
The fact of Remus’ ailing is immediately obvious; the boys’ things are strewn all over the place, evidence of James’ and Sirius’ running about without Remus to pick up after them. There’s a pot of half-eaten stew that’s been left to cool and congeal on the stove, an abandoned roll of bandages on the coffee table, and the entire apartment smells like disinfectant and heartache.
When you find Remus in the bedroom, your heart aches, too. He’s sleeping, but even in rest his face is pinched with discomfort, and there are several bandages visible above where the bedsheets rest halfway up his torso. It’s about what you expected, but it still makes your eyes burn.
You try to let him sleep as long as possible, working with the environment first. You open a few windows to get out the smell and let in the new day, clean the common spaces, start your lavender incense burning in the bedroom. You’re brewing tea when Remus pads into the kitchen, a blanket wrapped around his shoulders.
“Oh.” He startles to see you. “You’re back.”
You’re startled, too. “Hi, I’m sorry,” you say, hurrying over to the windows to shut them. “Did I wake you? Is it too cold in here?”
“No.” Remus looks wary, watching you flit about the living room like he’s not sure he’s actually woken up. “It’s nice. When did you get home?”
“Just this morning. I didn’t see the sense in staying another night, and anyway I wanted to be with you.” You make your way back around the room to him, taking his jaw gently in your hand. His skin is warm to the touch. “How are you feeling, lovely?”
You feel more than see Remus’ face tighten. “I’m alright. How are you?”
You let him go, giving him a small smile. “Better now that I’m back with you, thanks for asking.” You go back to the stove to stir your pot. “If you’re warm, you don’t need to keep that blanket on for me. I’ve already seen the bandages.”
You hear his quiet intake of breath, and then a few moments later the sound of the blanket dropping to the floor.
“Are you in the mood for some tea?” you ask without turning around. “If you want to get back in bed, I could bring it to you there. I don’t imagine standing is very kind to your legs right now.”
You’ve been reading up on wolf versus human anatomy. If Remus’ transformations work the way you think they do, the bones in his heels and legs would have to either break or otherwise shorten and elongate to create the legs a wolf needs; you can’t imagine it’s a painless process, or that he’s not still feeling the effects of it now, so soon after the moon.
For a dense handful of moments, Remus lingers on the edge of the kitchen. But soon you hear his footsteps, heavier than usual in a way that makes your stomach hurt, go back towards the bedroom. You finish making his tea and bring it to him with a few pieces of his chocolate.
He’s sitting up at the edge of the bed, propped up on pillows and watching the smoke curl up from your incense with a haunted look in his eyes.
“Hi,” you say softly. He accepts the tea and chocolate with a quiet thanks. “Do you think it might help things if I opened the curtains? Some sunlight might be good for you.”
Remus hums his assent. Everything becomes crisper once you let the light in. Remus’ dark circles and the blood visible through his bandages, but also the healthy flush to his cheeks and the strength of his body beneath the dressings.
“What is this?” Remus asks you, sipping his tea.
“Bay leaves. It’s for pain relief. It helps more if you put it directly on the wounds, but I didn’t think you’d want to mess with your dressings any more.”
He nods. Sighs. “Come here, dove. Come sit.”
You’re eager to comply. You round the bed to avoid crawling over him, settling against the pillows beside your boyfriend with your shoulder touching his. A support, if he needs it.
“What’s the incense for?” he asks.
“It’s lavender. It’s also good for pain, but I thought it might help you sleep as well.”
Remus nods again. He turns to you, his eyes some mixture of distressed and resigned. “Why are you doing all of this?” he asks. “Why did you come home?”
“Remus,” you say gently, “we don’t have to talk about anything you don’t want to.”
His brows hook in the middle, a small crumbling. “But you know already.”
You cradle his face in your hand. Your voice is soft. “Yeah.”
You pull Remus towards your chest when he starts weeping. He dampens your shirt while you comb your fingers through the hair at his nape, saying nothing. Steam wafts up from his tea until it doesn’t, but that’s okay; you’ll make him another cup when he’s ready.
James and Sirius are surprised to find you when they come home.
“Angel—”
“Shh.” You cover one of Remus’ ears with your hand, his head in your lap. “He’s hardly slept all day.”
James lowers his voice, setting his bag down on the floor. “When did you get here?”
“This morning.”
“But you were supposed to be away until tomorrow afternoon.” Sirius climbs up onto the bed. His expression goes tender as he looks down upon Remus’ sleeping face, and the kiss he presses to your lips is gentle.
You card your hand through Remus’ hair. “I didn’t want to be away from him,” you admit softly. “I understand why you want to do things without me on the night it happens, but I’d like to help before and afterwards at least.”
Sirius’ brow pinches, his eyes narrowing cautiously.
“When what happens?” James asks you.
You speak softly, not wanting the words to potentially agitate Remus in his sleep. “The transformation.”
There’s a thick pause.
“Who told you?” Sirius asks.
“No one had to tell me.”
There’s a quiet chuckle from the end of the bed. James kicks his shoes off, crawling up the covers to meet you. “I told you she knew.” He gives you a kiss, soft and syrupy sweet. “Thanks for looking after him for us, sweetheart.”
Remus grunts, coming awake. “James,” he groans. “Your knee is on my leg.”
“Oh. Sorry, love.” James moves, then bends down to give Remus a kiss of his own. “Did our angel take good care of you today?”
“Better than this.”
“That’s the moon talking,” Sirius says flippantly, though the hand he uses to rub Remus’ shoulder is exceedingly gentle. “That’s something you’ll learn as we go along, gorgeous. He loves us, really.”
You feel your brows pinch. “I thought he was as nice as always today.”
“Wonder why,” Remus mutters, but the look he gives Sirius is teasing.
James gives Remus another kiss, standing. “I’ll get you some of your soup.”
“Oh, I…” You give him a sheepish look. “I washed that down the sink. It got left out, the meat was bad. There’s tea on the stove that should help him heal faster, though, if you want to get some of that.”
James and Sirius stare at you.
“Seems like we should’ve brought you in on this a lot sooner,” Sirius says after a moment.
You shrug. Remus mumbles something that sounds like agreement.

Dc x Dp Prompt #22: the Respectful Catcall Guy
Have y’all seen the videos of the respectful catcall guy? The one who says stuff like “Hey girl! You look like you file your taxes in a timely manner!”, “Hey Dawg! Your eyebrows look like they are on point bro!”, or “Yo! You look like you know how to fold a fitted sheet!”. So instead of an unpleasant experience with harassment you get a nice complement? Y’all know those guys?
So that but it’s Danny and Tucker (Sam’s camera women) on their summer road trip to visit colleges. No on is safe from compliments, not civilians, not super heroes/vigilantes, not even rouges are safe.
Some of these interactions would include:
“Damn Dude! You look like you contribute equally to household responsibilities!” (To Barry out with Iris and his kids, he laughs proudly and Iris says “Yeah he does!”)
“ Hey Man! You look like you always pull up for you friends!” (To Wally picking up a drunk Dick Grayson, Donna Troy, and Roy Harper after an undercover Titan’s mission gone wrong. He smiles awkwardly while his friends laugh)
“Dang Bro! You look like you’re taking your meds regularly!” (Trickster/James Jesse tv show version, he says “I am!” not questioning how they would know he takes meds)
“Damn ma’am! You look like you love every dog unconditionally!” (To Wonder Woman after she stopped to pet a dog)
“Dang girl! You look like you could bench press your friends! I bet you give great hugs!” (To Cassie Sandsmark at a Core Four hang out. She proudly shows off her guns and Bart yells back that she does give great hugs)
“Wow Girl! You look like you know how to use healthy communication and boundaries in your relationships!” (To Black Canary, she smirks proudly)
“Damn man! You look like drink your respect women juice at breakfast, lunch AND dinner!” (To a Clark Kent treating Lois to lunch)
“ Wow man! You look like you make an effort to be and active and present part of your daughter’s life! (To Deadshot/Floyd Lawton and his daughter Zoe out for dinner)
“ Dang girl! You look you know how to find joy and whimsy in life!”(To Raven, she smiled and appreciated it, but did double take at the amount of extradimensional death magic on these kids which check with them about later)
“Dang sir! You look like you know how to properly season your cooking!” (To Alfred Pennyworth out on a grocery run)
“Damn miss, you look like you make environmentally conscious lifestyle choices!” (this is actually Sam to Poison Ivy, she follows it up with “I’m a big fan of your work”)
“ Damn boy, you seem like you’re super passionate about what you believe in and deeply care about the people you love!” (To a budding, upstart crime lord Red Hood who is shook by positive feelings at this time in his life. They track him down and explain liminality and help him deal with emotions before he does smth too drastic like decapitating ppl *cough cough* But he still becomes a Crime Lord to mess with his family and still have a dramatic reveal)

happy halloween, loverboy - okkotsu yuuta
Tumblr media
word count: 7.3k warnings: heavy making out, alcohol (everyone's of age) summary: you leave your halloween costume a surprise to yuuta. and he's very surprised. other notes: unestablished relationship, lots of flirting/teasing, down bad yuuta
happy halloween everyone! 🎃
⋆。°⭒˚。⋆。⋆。𖦹°⭒˚。⋆
“I don’t care what time you show up.  All that really matters is you show up in costume- you guys do have costumes… right?” Nobara’s eyes shift away from where she was dutifully filing her nails to send a sharp look across her friends.
Halloween was a very important holiday.  But it would lose all of it’s whimsy if even one of them showed up without a costume.  She couldn’t bear to be seen with a loser that thought they were better than dressing up for the hell of it.
“Of course!” You’re the first to speak, over enthusiastic with a grin that displays just how excited you really are.
It had been quite some time since you’d celebrated the holiday- you think maybe you dressed up once or twice as a child, but soon after being whisked away by Jujutsu Higher Ups you’d forgotten the fun of the festivities.  So when Nobara found a bar that was encouraging it’s patrons to dress up for the 31st, the plan was set and you were agreeing in a heartbeat.
You’d chosen your costume fast, rushing to the store with Maki and Nobara to find something fun- it was your only requirement, you had to be excited by whatever you chose.  And when your eyes landed on what you deemed to be the cutest package, you skipped right over to your friends with it, grinning like a fool as you held it on display for them.  The girls gave you their approval instantly, barely looking at the details of your costume before matching your grin and nodding their heads.  You’d assumed they were just as eager as you were for the whole ordeal.
“You got a costume already?” Yuuta spoke up from where he sat next to you.  There was an air of indifference about him, the way he was tilted back in his chair with his arms crossed over the white jacket he always wore.  But something in the way he asked, and the way he turned to you with a slight pout told a different story.
“I might’ve gone at the beginning of the month…” You admitted, a guilty smile on your face when his frown deepened.  Had he wanted to go costume shopping together? You weren’t sure why exactly he was pouting.  You and Yuuta were close- really close- but he hadn’t voiced an interest in shopping for the occasion until now.
“I already went too, I’m going to be a pirate!” Yuji announced from the other end of the table, sparking a few others to pitch in what they were planning on dressing up as.  But none of them stole Yuuta’s attention, he remained focused on you.
“What are you going to be?” He asked, leaning into the table with his elbow now so that he could prop his head on his hand.
“Not telling,” Your guilty smile turned cheshire as he raised an eyebrow.  “It’s a surprise!” You added, just so he knew he wouldn't be able to coax the information out of you.  Although if he really tried, you’d probably give in.  Yuuta huffs, accepting defeat.
“Fine.  I s’pose I’ll surprise you, too” He decides he’ll have to do some last minute shopping on his own.  He could only hope there was still a good selection, and he wouldn’t wind up with something embarrassing.
“Really?” You lean forward as you beam, delighted by the idea.  Yuuta nods his head in agreement, and it’s decided.  You’ll both show up at the bar in undisclosed costumes to surprise each other with.  It’s a simple thing, but you can’t deny your curiosity for what sort of thing Yuuta would pick.
And Yuuta’s nerves start to eat him alive as his mind wanders to all the things you could’ve possibly chosen… it only gets worse when Maki catches his eye with a tell-tale smirk.  That truly peaked his interest.
⋆。𖦹°⭒˚。⋆。⋆。𖦹°⭒˚。⋆
The bar is full of zombies, fairies, devils, and miscellaneous characters each trying to get a buzz and have a good time.  It’s entertaining enough just to look around at the creative costumes every person who entered wore.
Yuuta had arrived fairly early in the night, he and Inumaki agreeing to meet up around nine to find a decent enough table for all of their friends.  And, of course, they got a head start on drinking.
Inumaki was a very convincing vampire, complete with fangs and a little bit of fake blood- even going so far as to cut his bangs into a neat v shape.  He’d certainly committed to the bit.  Yuuta couldn’t help but wonder if he’d come to regret the impulsive haircut come tomorrow, but he’d wait to put money on it until the rest of his friends were here.  Or at least, until you were here.
He couldn’t deny he was antsy to see you.  It was no secret that he spent most of his time waiting for you to walk into the room- or seeking you out if he had to- but tonight there was an electricity in the air as he awaited your arrival.  Yuuta had been racking his mind for days, wondering what sort of costume you’d show up in.  That character you’re always gushing about? Or one of those simple animal costumes? Something with fishnets? His leg was bouncing underneath the stool he was seated at.
No one had given him any hints- least of all you- but Maki and Nobara couldn’t contain their giggles and secret looks anytime the subject of your costume came up.  It only dialed up his curiosity- and he couldn’t be sure if that was a good or bad thing.
Yuuta’s own costume he felt was a bit lackluster, but he’d put as much effort into it as he could have.  A white doctor’s coat- you had said white suited him- with blood splattered over it meticulously by his own hand, with blue scrubs underneath with the same red dye all over it.  To him it was obvious that the halloween store was too picked over for him to get his first or second costume pick, but this would have to do.  It was sort of cool, he supposed, but he didn’t care much.  He only hoped you would feel differently when you saw him, that you wouldn’t be disappointed after he’d said he’d surprise you.
Their other friends began to filter in one by one, each with a costume that seemed fitting enough to them.  Nobara and Maki were first, clearly having pregamed during their getting ready process.  Nobara was in a striking red dress with a long wig of red hair, and Maki at her side in a form fitting red jumpsuit with a little cottontail pinned to the back and bunny ears on a headband in her hair.  Jessica and Roger Rabbit, that was unexpected, but no one could be shocked.  Nobara was clearly very proud of her wig styling abilities, as she tossed it over her shoulder constantly as they sat and ordered drinks.
Next came Megumi, who got a frown from Nobara when he approached the group in a blue cargo jumpsuit.
“What are you supposed to be?” She asked, her finger tapping the rim of her margarita with an irritated tap tap tap of her nail.  “A mechanic?” Her disgust is evident in the snarl on her glossy red lips.
Megumi fishes into the pocket to pull out a crumpled rubber mask- clearly Mike Meyers- but once his costume is revealed he stuffs the mask back into his pocket.  Nobara opens her mouth to protest that by not wearing the mask, he’s barely in a costume, but Maki is quick to whisk her away for another drink from the bar.
Yuji is never far behind Megumi, and he shows up with you in tow.  Megumi raises his hand to the pink haired boy at the door, letting him know where their table was, and everyone turns to catch a glimpse of his costume.
He looks great, in raggedy black pants and a half buttoned striped shirt.  He even got an eye patch and a bog captain’s hat.  He’d wanted to get the peg leg and the bird to pin to his shoulder- but Megumi had talked him out of spending a stupid amount of money for one night of dress up.
Yuuta can’t say he really noticed Yuji’s perfectly put together pirate costume, because right behind Yuji came you.
He choked on his drink, coughing loudly and spitting some of it back into the glass.  Inumaki tries to pat his back to get the last of the burning rum out of his throat, but it’s no use.  With Yuuta’s eyes still trained on the girl beside the pirate, he continues to cough up a lung.
It dawns on him now that he’s rarely seen you outside of your uniform.  Even then, you were a jeans and hoodie kind of girl.  So watching you stride through the bar dressed to the nines as a french maid had him in a chokehold.  He couldn’t help but stare, not blinking once as his eyes tracked every movement you made.  The frill of your shirt skirt bounced softly against your upper thighs, and in perfect time with the gentle bounce of your tits in the perfectly tight top of the dress.
Yuuta had to cover his mouth with his hand- the coughs had subsided but the gape in his jaw couldn’t be helped and he needed to hide it somehow before you noticed him and caught the shameless way he watched you.
The table is silent, all eyes on you- except Megumi who’s made room for Yuji to sit next to him where he instantly complains that a parrot would’ve suited his costume better- and when you aren’t the one being stared at, Yuuta is.  Toge’s already giggling to himself, knowing this night was about to get way more exciting.
“Happy halloween!” Your smile is too sweet, too angelic for the costume you’re wearing.  Yuuta’s still covering half his face, the slow drag of his eyes over your long, fishnet covered legs not going unnoticed.  With all the ruckus of the partygoers, your table seems particularly silent.  “What’s wrong?” You pout, worriedly glancing over your friends for an explanation as to why they seem so bored compared to everyone else.
Your eyes land on Yuuta, who’s straining to maintain eye contact with you, but with his large hand covering his mouth, he’s unable to answer your question.  Fuck, when is his voice going to come back?
Maki and Nobara get back at the table then, and they bring the energy back with them.
Nobara’s drunk squealing when she sees you, fleeing Maki’s side to oggle you up close, her hands wandering over your figure but never quite touching.  Some words are making it out of her mouth, you think you hear ‘damn’ and ‘sexy’ a few times, but for the most part she’s just bouncing and making high pitched noises of approval.
“Holy shit, (y/n/n),” Maki is standing still, eyeing you just as slowly as Yuuta had.  “I knew it was sexy but I didn’t know it was that sexy” She mutters in surprise.
You glance down at yourself, your hands smoothing over the little white apron on the front of your skirt as you start to second guess the costume.
“Is it too much?” You ask, but just as a frown is starting to form, you’re being directed away from the table.
“Let’s go get a drink”
Yuuta is on his feet, at your side, and practically pulling you towards the bar with an arm around your waist in an instant.  You think you even feel a tingle of his cursed energy, but just as soon as you feel it, it’s gone.
“Yeah, alright,” You smile at him, finally taking a moment to notice his costume.  Wow, he looks good in white even when it’s covered in blood.  “I like your costume,” You tell him, looking him up and down one more time once you’ve reached the bar.  “You’re like a… evil hot doctor”
The laugh that Yuuta lets out is strained, as he has to push past the lump in his throat first, but it seems to make your smile last a minute longer as he nods back at you, finally removing his arm from around your waist.
“I wasn’t really going for evil, or hot,” He admits, and you shrug a shoulder too casually in disagreement.  “This is sort of all they had left”
“Well, it works,” You say, again, too casual in the way your eyes move up and down over his figure.  Shouldn’t he be the one looking at you like that? “Have I ever told you that you look good in white?” You ask him in a tone that seems serious, like you really want him to know this.  Yuuta chuckles, and he has to pretend to be interested in the handles of liquor on the wall behind the bar when he responds.
“You might’ve mentioned it,” He mumbles, before turning his gaze back to you.  It’s hard to look away from you too long.  His eyes land on the frilly white piece of laze you’ve attached to the top of your hair, a cute little maid’s headpiece, and something he can focus on without feeling like a dog.  “Looks good on you too” He compliments, reaching out to brush his fingers over the lace.  He’s just as quick to retract them though, his mind wandering too far as he connects the dots between you and lace.
Your giggle brings his attention back to you, and he’s surprised to see a blush blooming across your cheeks.
“Thank you, Yuuta,” You hum sweetly.  Too sweet.  You can’t look at him like that, don’t you know he’s going to drop dead any second? He rubs his nose, discreetly trying to check for any blood.  “So you like my costume then?”
His hand is covering his mouth again as he gives you a once over, as if he hadn’t gotten the full image when you’d arrived.  Of course he had, the little black dress with white accents and a frilly skirt that sat perfectly around the curve of your ass, the fishnets that wrapped up your legs so perfectly, the pair of black heels that still didn’t have you reaching his height but god you even made shoes sexy.
And then you had the audacity to give him a little twirl, to showcase your costume, just for him- although Yuuta’s not naive enough to believe he’s the only one with eyes on you right now, he knows you’re doing it just for him.  His heart hammers in his chest.
There’s a pretty white bow tied around your waist, laying neatly at the dip in your back where your skirt fans out.  The urge to reach out to it, to tug on the end of the ribbon and bring you closer, has him latching his hands around the edge of the bartop.  It was a strange feeling, not being able to trust your own hands, but Yuuta refused to perv on you.
(Any more than he already allowed himself to anyway).
A dry spell spreads from his lips, through his mouth and down his throat- there’s not a single appropriate thing he can say to you right now.  So a nod of his head and a wobbly smile will have to do.  You seem amused by this, smiling up at him in a way that makes your pretty eyes crinkle.  Even your makeup has a grip on him- flawless, every part of you.
“A good surprise then?”
“Great surprise” His voice betrays him, coming out in a low rasp you’re just barely able to hear over the music and chatter at the bar, but again, you only brighten up at him.
“Well, I’m glad you think so”
Was he still in fantasy land or was that… cheeky?
The bartender, a perfect depiction of Beetlejuice, finally gets to the pair of you, and you’re quick to order two shots and two rum and cokes.  Yuuta can’t argue, but he’ll always be amused by your ability to throw back alcohol only to order the easiest thing on the menu.
“Should we bring a round of shots back to the table?” Yuuta asks, thanking the bartender once the drinks are poured before they’re off to take the next order.  You hum in thought as you pick up the tiny glass and turn towards him.
“Maybe later,” You shrug.  “I just want to hang out with you for a bit”
The dryness in his throat is back.  This shot is going to burn.
“Just me?” He asks, wondering if you’d pregamed as hard as Nobara and forgot who you were with.  You nod.  “You sure?”
You nod again, this time followed by a string of laughter.
“Yes, Yuuta, I’m sure,” You tease, before lifting your shot towards him, beckoning him to take his.  “Now are we toasting to halloween or what?”
Yuuta hopes you don’t notice the shake in his hands as he grabs his glass.  Suddenly, he’s fifteen again, and seeing you enter Gojo’s classroom for the first time with your cute braided pigtails and a pretty smile.  The air is sucked out of his lungs, and his eyes are trained to follow you, and only you.
“Happy halloween” He touches the rim of the small glass to yours, making a small spill as some liquor drips over the edge of the glass.  The grin that stretches across your lips is beautiful and unhinged, and he knows this won’t be the only shot you take tonight.
“Happy halloween” You repeat in your sugary voice.
And just like that you both tilt your heads back and let the liquor burn down your throats.  Yuuta still feels like a teenager, fighting the urge to couch as he gulps it down his dry throat.  He slams the shooter back on the bar top and is quick to reach for his drink, taking large swigs.
Chasing rum with more rum wasn’t his greatest idea, but he wouldn’t come to realize that until a little later.
“So,” When his voice sounds normal again, he turns back towards you.  You look back at him with your full attention.  “Did you pick this yourself?” He asks, gesturing vaguely to your outfit.
“I did,” You answer, a slow smile stretching across your lips.  “Thought it was pretty” You add, giving yourself a once over.
You couldn’t deny the confidence boost this particular costume gave you.  It sure beat out the sheet you cut holes into when you were a kid and thought you were the perfect spooky ghost.
“Mhm, mhm” Yuuta hums a few times as he nods his head, and you hardly notice your toes twisting your foot back and forth at the ground, your heel lifted just enough to swing back and forth in a slow motion.
“You think so too?” You ask.
“Huh- what?”
“You also think it’s pretty?” You clarify, trying not to appear too amused by the nervous look on his face, or the flush creeping up his neck that was starting to reach his cheeks.  You weren’t totally blind, it was clear that Yuuta was having some sort of reaction to your costume, but you’d like to have some fun with him before making him outright admit it.
“Yes,” His answer tumbles out of his mouth too quickly, his eyes widening just a bit before he tries to give you a more normal answer.  “Yeah, I mean- yeah, it’s pretty, you’re pretty, you look pretty in it”
He flatters you too much, especially with his habit of nervous stammering, it has you giggling and beaming like he’s paid you the most romantic compliment.  You know he has, he just lets his nerves get on top of him and then his vocabulary is depleted.
“Why thank you, loverboy,” You swirl your straw in your glass a few times before you bring it to your lips to take a sip.
Your teasing is going to be the death of him, it truly is a cruel torture.  Not to mention loverboy spoken by your voice, curled in one ear, muddled up his brain, and flew out the other.  You’d never called him that before- you never called him anything before! Maybe a slurred ‘Yuu’ in passing after a rough mission, late at night and when you were more asleep than you were awake.  But before that, there was only ever Okkotsu, and Yuuta.
Never loverboy.
His face was effectively pink now.  He took a few more gulps of his drink.
“I was hoping you’d think so” You finish your thought after a few more sips.  Not an ounce of your amusement in Yuuta’s pink cheeks is contained.
“You were?” He asks, far too quickly.
“Mhm” You smile and nod, seemingly distracted when you catch sight of Panda entering the bar.  He seems proud of his clown costume- a rainbow afro, polka dot tie, and ridiculously large shoes- you have to agree, it’s impressive.  Although the other patrons of the bar were more impressed by his ‘panda suit’ than the silly clown accessories.
Yuuta barely glanced at his bear friend squeezing through the crowd of drunks before he was looking right back at you again.
Was this all purposeful? A carefully calculated plan of torment?
You turn back to him with a pretty smile, your lipstick still perfectly intact even after all this drinking.  Before he could stop it, all he could think about was ruining it for himself.
Were you evil?
His adam's apple noticeably bobs as he takes a dry swallow.  Your smile only brightens.
“And uh- why’s that?” It’s hard to control his stutter, so his words come out a bit choppy and awkward.  With a large sip of his drink, he hopes you’ll brush it off as an after effect of the alcohol and nothing more.
“I dunno,” You shrug a shoulder and Yuuta wonders if you’re feigning indifference or if this is all part of the torture.  “Guess I care more about your opinion than the others”
His glass is almost empty.  If he didn’t order another one soon he’d have nothing to keep his attention- respectfully- on.
But your confession is delayed to his ears, and it’s obvious in the way that his eyes soften on you a few moments later, his empty glass forgotten on the counter.
“Y-you do?” The stutter is back, but it’s hard to cringe when she looks at him so sweetly, as if just standing there with him was all the more company you wanted for the night.  Was it?
You place your empty glass beside his, catching eyes with the bartender long enough to swirl your finger over them both, sending the message that a second round would be required soon.  When you look back at Yuuta, you find that he’s managed to keep his eyes at your level this whole time.  You have to laugh, even if it makes his neck flush pink.
“I do,” You answer his question a bit too late, as if you’ve almost forgotten to respond at all.  To be fair, his gaze is piercing and it’s hard to think about anything else at all.  Carefully, you take a step closer to him, which is already a few steps closer than you’ve ever been to him before.  Like this, anyways, purposefully, when there’s plenty of space for you to situate yourself at the bar, you’re choosing to invade his own space.  When his eyes remain locked on yours, you tilt your head a bit, curiously.  Your voice drops to a whisper, but you’re close enough now that he can hear you just fine even in the loud environment, “Even when you’re feeding me a bunch of respectful bullshit,” You add.
Yuuta allows his eyes to lower just a little bit, just enough to watch the movement of your lips as you speak.  He doesn’t dare let them stray any further, too afraid that if he caught sight of how close you were standing now that he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from pulling you in the rest of the way until your frilly little thing you called a costume was ruffled and ruined up against how own-
His throat bobs again, and he’s trying desperately to think of something to say, but all words are getting blocked up and make less and less sense the more he tries to say something.
Your eyes sweep his features, lashes fluttering softly as you take in the color in his cheeks, the part of his lips, the hooded gaze he greets you with that makes your insides shiver and melt all at once.  You’re not sure he has any idea, you’re not sure there’s much thought behind those eyes at all.
Something tells you Yuuta’s put all of his energy towards keeping eye contact with you.
“Yuuta,”
You call his name softly when it’s been a few beats too long of basking in the tension.  While you love the tension, you’re going to need him to say something, do something, before you combust.  Glazed over blue eyes flicker back to life when he drags them away from your red painted lips and back to your own gaze.  He’s blushing, probably since he’d been caught staring for so long, but there’s no sign of embarrassment when his eyes refocus on yours.
Beetlejuice replaces your empty glasses for refreshed ones, knocking twice on the counter to get your attention before walking away.  They clearly weren’t sure either one of you would notice the fresh drinks waiting for you since you were so busy eating each other up with your eyes, but they don’t linger too long, off to take another order at the other end of the bar just as quickly as they had gotten yours.
“I feel like you’re holding something back,” You say, reaching for your drink while only tearing your attention away from him for a split second.  That split second was long enough for you to miss him, although he’s standing so close to you that you could feel the heat radiating off of him.  Straw between your lips, being held in place by your teeth crushing it hard to maintain your air of indifference, you bat your eyelashes at him tauntingly.  “And I’d really like to know what it is”
“No, you don’t” He finally speaks, the words coming to him in perfect time.  It catches your interest, your eyes lighting up with amusement.
“Now I really do!” You say, a girlish giggle overtaking you before you could help it.  It forces a smile on his lips, although it’s more nervous than anything else.
“No, you just want to get a rise out of me” He argues, gritting his teeth to maintain some semblance of composure.  He’s not doing a very good job, but the attempt is there.
“So you’re saying I am getting a rise out of you, loverboy?” You ask, and you look all too excited by the idea.  If Yuuta wasn’t sure before, he is now- you’re evil.
He takes his drink, forcing himself to look away from you as long as he could stand.  He can’t deny he misses the sight of you as soon as it’s gone, and he cheats a little by keeping an eye on you in his peripheral vision.  If Inumaki were around, he’d tell him he’s whipped.  Cooked.  Done for.  He wouldn’t be wrong, either.
You’re getting comfortable with the little nickname, with a cheeky smile as you press in closer to him again, invading his view when he’s trying to remind himself of the value in your friendship, of how much he respects you, and not about things like how plush your chest feels when you lean up against his arm.
He takes a few long gulps of his drink, half the glass depleted by the time he releases the straw.
You decide to give him a little break, leaning off him in exchange for wrapping your hand around his forearm, tugging just enough to pull his attention away from the bar.
“Will you walk with me over to the touchtunes box? I left my phone with Yuji, and he and Megumi disappeared ages ago”
When did you even have time to notice that? Yuuta wonders as he finally gives the table of your friends a glance.  He almost could have forgotten they were here.  Sure enough, Yuji and Megumi were nowhere to be found.  Typical.
“Yeah, let’s go,” He agrees, nodding for you to lead the way.  You hold your drink close as you plot out the best path through the crowd, and Yuuta follows close behind.
His hand reaches for your waist, but he hesitates before placing it there, so he lets it hover, just enough that if he needed to in a moment’s notice, he could grab hold of you.  But trailing behind you is enough for now.
Besides, from behind, you won’t notice the deadly look on his face when he catches anyone else looking at you.  It doesn’t matter where their eyes are directed, you’re not there for any of them.
His fingers twitch, barely tapping you on the hip as you slither through the crowd.  It’s enough to gain your attention, your head tilting to glance at him from over your shoulder.  His eyes are elsewhere, still scanning the people you’re passing by.  You smile, amused by his antics, before you wrap your free hand around his wrist.  Yuuta’s looking at you again as you both pull him closer, and place his hand properly at the dip in your waist.  Then you’re facing forward again as you reach the modern jukebox.
It appears there’s a long queue already going- figures, with this crowd, everyone has already added their favorite songs to the playlist- but you figure you’ll be here a while anyways, so no harm in adding your own.
“How many times do we really need the Monster Mash in one night, hm?” You mumble to yourself as you scroll through the long list of songs already on the queue.  “Spice it up a little, people”
Yuuta’s not sure if you’re talking to him or yourself, too focused on the soft silk of your dress under his palm.  He has yet to work up the strength to pull his hand away from you, and if anything, his grip has only tightened since you’d led it there.  He hovers behind you like an apparition that’s been chained to your soul.  Tall, dark, and looming, with no intent of moving.
Not that you mind, tapping away at the screen to find the song of your choice to add to the mix.  If anything, you seem more delighted with yourself than before, singing along to the Monster Mash despite your complaints, and sipping on your drink.
“Any recommendations?” You ask after you’ve selected a few songs for yourself, and one that you know Nobara would love to hear.
“Hm?” Yuuta hums in question when he realizes you’d been talking to him, and he’d been too deep in his thoughts to catch it.
“Songs, loverboy, any songs you want added?” You tease him for spacing out, casting him a grin he can only describe as wicked.
“Oh,” He pouts at your teasing, and then shakes his head.  “No, pick whatever you want”
“Okay,” Your eyelashes flutter at him and his hand tenses against your hip.  But you’re already focused on the touchtunes screen again, finishing up your work.
When you’re done, though, you return your attention to him completely.  You spin around, your frilly little skirt bouncing with your movement, brushing against his legs with how close you stand.  You make sure to keep a gentle hold on his arm, that way he won’t try to put any distance between you now that you’re face to face.
“Now what to do while we wait for the decent music to come on?” You ask, your tone suggesting you had a few ideas, but you’ve been waiting for Yuuta to open up and let loose all night, so you hope he’ll read your mind and pick out something he likes for himself.
He takes a swallow, eyes flickering between the small smirk curling at the corner of your lips and your impatient gaze.  Your friends were sure to notice your absence eventually, but then again Yuji and Megumi seemed to be missing as well and no one had come searching for you both yet.  So maybe you had a little more time to yourselves.
So with a surge of confidence, Yuuta leans a little closer towards you, until his lips are close enough to your ear that he doesn’t have to speak much louder than a murmur for you to hear him.
“Why’d you really want to hang out with me all night?”
He leans back to get a good look at you after he asks his question, basking in the heat rising to your cheeks.  Your smile almost looks bashful now, and his eyes linger on your lips a bit too long as he waits for your answer.
“Like you said…” You speak slowly, “I thought it’d be fun to get a rise out of you,” You admit, trying to maintain the confidence that you’d come into the night with.  It gets a little harder as Yuuta’s the one initiating entering your personal space.  His fingers had started to draw lazy circles against the silky fabric you wore, and it proved to be enough stimulation to make your mind a little foggy.  “Which… I was right”
“Well I’m glad you’ve had your fun” He sounds a little bitter that you’ve had so much fun all on your own and at his expense, but you’re quick to lift his spirits, and curiosity.
“I’d like to have s’more,” You say, peeking up at him from under your long eyelashes with enough hope and excitement behind your eyes that Yuuta’s stomach flips, and his hand stills at your waist again.
He’s silent for a beat too long, and you tilt your head at him as you gauge his reaction.  His words are stuck in his throat again, and his face is turning that shade of pink you think is so cute- you can’t stand it any longer.
“Yuuta, if you don’t make a move I think I might have to start begging” You whisper, a breathless laugh following your words as a nervous chill spreads down your spine, covering you in goosebumps.
A similar shock courses through Yuuta’s system, and it’s like his body finally comes to life.  Both of your drinks are on a table and his hands are wrapping around your waist so fast and this time you’re sure that’s his cursed energy prickling in the air like static electricity.  You barely have time to catch your breath before he’s backed you into the touchtunes box and pinned you there.
“C’mere then” His lips brush yours as one of his hands slide around your jaw to guide your lips to his.  You’re able to suck in a breath at the last second before his lips envelop yours, but it reduces you to a weak little gasp that he swallows instantly.
Your last shred of dignity thrown out the window, you melt under Yuuta’s kiss and give in completely.  Turns out with enough pushing and shoving, you could get him to break, and what a well played game it was.  His mouth is dominating over yours so perfectly, controlling the kiss to his every whim and desire, leaving you no choice but to follow his lead and submit.
With all of your inhibitions lowered, and no thought left on your mind that didn’t revolve around Yuuta, your every move was delayed yet frantic.  It takes a few minutes of lip locking before you realize your hands are dreadfully empty, and the next thing you know they’re all over him.  Grabbing his arms, the front of the jacket he wore, then his shoulders- and your touch was far from gentle.  You gripped onto him like your life depended on it, as if you would fall down if it weren’t for him grounding you.  Even though you were pinned against the jukebox with no wiggle room for escape thanks to Yuuta’s larger frame.
He tilts your head back further, teeth grazing your swollen lips before diving back in and deepening your kiss.  There’s so much he wants to tell you now that this line has been crossed between you, but he doesn’t want to waste even a second of this moment, so his lips cover yours again and soon enough he gives into the need to explore your mouth with his tongue.
Your knees are growing weak, so you let all of your weight rest between his hold on you and against the machine.  You’re hardly on the planet earth right now, and it shows in the way you make sweet noises against his mouth and the way your hands tug him closer by the front of his shirt, pulling as if there was any possible way he could crowd you even more than he was.  If you had any control over your own legs, you’d climb up his torso like a tree just to get closer, but you don’t, so you settle for pulling and tugging on him.
Amongst the little whimpers and whines between kisses, you finally let out a strangled noise that sounds close enough to his name that Yuuta finally breaks away.  He’s not far, his nose still pressed against yours, his lips still close enough that he can feel every pant, but he can no longer push down the desire to get a good look at you, at what he’s reduced you to.
Your lipstick is ruined, smudged all around your lips and staining your skin, and he probably looks the same.  It takes you a second to open your eyes, and gather your bearings, but you don’t fare much better than him.  Your grip on his shirt remains firm, letting him know that you won’t be letting him break for long.  And you haven’t even caught your breath.
“You make the prettiest maid, baby,” He murmurs, his thoughts catching up to him when your eyes finally flutter open, heavy and tired but still light up with a look that has him wanting to devour you again.  Baby rings in your ears the way he says it, low and murmured, his voice a little raspy, you’d like to hear it a dozen more times.  Yuuta must be able to tell by the way your cheeks flush and your lips twitch.  “You’ve been messing with me all night, don’t get all bashful on me now” He chuckles, grinning from ear to ear as he watches you try to hide it, too.
Knowing you wouldn’t be able to hide the butterflies currently destroying you from the inside out, you decide on the next best thing, wrapping your hand around the nape of his neck and pulling him back in for another kiss.  You’re both just as lost in it as the other, with Yuuta’s hands roaming up and down your sides, tickling your ribs and setting fires with every new inch of your body he touched.
When his reach lowers, trailing down the skirt of your dress and grazing over your upper thigh, you don’t think twice about lifting your leg, and he doesn’t think twice about pushing in closer with a new grip on your leg keeping you snug against him.  You finally get a noise out of him, the faintest groan against your mouth as his teeth graze your lip again, this time giving into impulse and biting down on the plump swollen flesh.  Simultaneously, his fingers dig into the plush of your thigh and you hardly remember where you are when you start to tug on his hair in an attempt to elicit more noise out of him.
You’re floating away, focused on nothing other than the way he feels against you.  Any shred of awareness- social or physical- is lost or destroyed.  You couldn’t care about much other than the feeling of his hand creeping up your leg and skimming under your skirt, or how his tongue feels like velvet when it rolls against yours.
“Oh my god, sluts!”
You come crashing down when you’re so rudely interrupted, Yuuta’s lips tearing away from yours, and at the same time, you both catch your friends, catching you, with a mix of emotion on their faces.
Maki was the one that barked at you both, pulling you out of your trance and reminding you of where you were.  She’s rolling her eyes, while beside her, Nobara is giggling behind her hands and bouncing on her feet.
As you and Yuuta both scan your friends’ reactions, you slowly pry apart.  His hand sliding back out from under your skirt and finding a more respectful spot on your waist, steadying you as you lower your leg from his hip and set a wobbly heeled foot back on the floor.
“Were you guys watchinggg?” You drawl, a tipsy giggle tumbling out of your lips as you cover your pink cheeks with your hand.
“No!”
“Bonito flakes!”
“We just wanted to check out the queue on touchtunes, but you two were too busy fucking on it-!”
“Maki!” Nobara squeals through her laughter as she scolds her girlfriend.
“We were not!” Yuuta finds his voice to defend himself, but with a face as red as his, he loses all credibility.
“Were too!” Maki argues.
“Your hand was up my skirt” You mumble up at him, and he shoots you a perplexed look.
“Who’s side are you on?” He mutters, and you bat your eyelashes a few times to regain his affections.
“The side that gets us out of here faster?” You suggest.
“Gross!” Maki shouts, grabbing Nobara by the hand.  “We’re not looking for the other two, I’ve watched enough smut for tonight!” She’s still shouting her distaste while Nobara waltzes beside her.
Inumaki mutters a few rice ball ingredients before he heads to the bar.  You have a feeling he’s ordering himself a shot of the strongest thing they have to offer.
Panda just grins, straightens his clown tie, and follows after his vampire-dressed friend.
Leaving you and Yuuta alone again.
You smile prettily up at him, your hands resting against his chest, one finger tracing a splotch of fake blood.
“That was kind of exciting” You admit, your eyes focused on the movement of your finger while Yuuta was gazing down at you.
“Which part? Making out or getting caught?” He asks, his brows already furrowed as he was afraid of your answer being the latter.
“Both?” You muse, glancing up at him and smiling devilishly at the worry in his features.  “You wanna go get caught somewhere else?”
“You’re serious?”
He’s dancing the line of concern and amusement, but it only takes a little tug from you to drag him towards the hallway where the bathrooms were and he’s following your lead.  Was it a good idea? He didn’t know.  He didn’t care.  Following behind you he could watch the perfect way your frilly little skirt bounced and any rational thought flew far from his mind.
“You’re gonna keep this costume, right?” He asks when you drag him into a stall and lock the door behind him.  This time, you’re the one backing him up against the wall as your hands dive back into his hair.
“I would if you asked nicely,” You murmur against his lips, stealing one sweet kiss before tilting your head back again.  “Might take a little convincing, though”
Yuuta sighs helplessly, chasing after your lips and pulling you in closer.  He had the perfect argument in mind.  As well as a few other ideas of what to dress you up in.

so i was looking back on this post and came up with the silly thought of butter roll cookie or Matcha cookie just kidnapping mycookie, bringing them to the ultimate cookie and being like "this could have been you lol!" i think that's be pretty funny
i even make a lil sketch of the scenario
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and a more dramatic version for the sake of it
(this is my first time sending a ask on a tumblr blog so sorry if i come off weird)
Tumblr media
Nah, you’re not being weird at all. I like the sketches!
And he is so full of whimsy about it!
“Is that….”
“The culmination of my life’s work, the Ultimate Cookie! After countless tests and experiments, we’ve managed to perfect the recipe to not only create dough suitable for Beast Cookies, but one that will harbor their strength to be the perfect cookie for Dark Enchantress Cookie!”
“The perfect cookie…(just like what White Lily calls me)…”
“If you turned out like this, there’s no doubt that it would’ve been you up there lmao”
“W-what?”
Tumblr media
“While you didn’t necessarily turn out how I predicted after that little…accident back at the laboratory, you’ve shown remarkable progress for what was just dough in a mixer. Walking, talking, the works!”
“So you’re telling me I could’ve either been up there or in those vats…”
“No no, you’re too good for that now. What you are now is a shiny benchwork in my work. I should thank those cookies back at your kingdom for raising you to your potential.”
“What potential? I was happy back there just living my life!”
Tumblr media
“But you need to realize the goldmine of possibilities you’re standing on right now! If I present you to Dark Enchantress Cookie, she could see just how special you are. She’d want you to be just as strong as that cookie up there! How wonderful would that be?!”
“And if what I don’t want to?! What if I don’t want to be just another pawn to that lunatic?!”
“You aren’t a pawn, you could be a part of something bigger. Your..friends back in that kingdom will see just how important you can really be. I only want what’s best for you…”
Butter Roll Cookie placed a hand on their shoulder with a comforting smile. They looked down at the floor for a moment before looking up with a face of resolve.
“No.”
Butter Roll sighs before letting go of his hand on their shoulder.
Tumblr media
“I see. Such potential, gone to waste. But…I’ll never forget what a wonderful cookie you ended up becoming…”
“Thank you-“
Tumblr media
“Because I’m gonna kidnap ya again lol”
“HUH-“
Butter Roll laughs as he scooped them up in a sack.
Tumblr media
“Haha! I’d be crazy if I let a cookie like you go! Don’t you worry, papa Butter Roll Cookie is taking you home!”

dom female reader headcanons + imagine
your babyboy wakes up every morning, eager to please you. you are his everything, his entire world revolves around you<3 he loves the feeling of submission and the thought of you being in control. It's not just a kink for him, it's a lifestyle
you can see the excitement in his puppy eyes when you enter the room, dressed in your favorite leather outfit. he knows what's coming next, and he can't wait. as you walk towards him, he kneels down in front of you, ready to serve and devour your delicious cunt<3
he loves when you use him for your pleasure. whether it's making him worship your body or using him as a human furniture, he is more than happy to fulfill your desires. he finds joy in knowing that you are satisfied and that he has pleased you<3
one of his favorite things is when you take him shopping for new lingerie. he loves the feeling of you picking out what he will wear, knowing that it's not just for show, but for your pleasure! he takes great pride in wearing what you have chosen for him, and it makes him feel even more submissive:((
he also loves when you take him out in public, holding his leash and showing everyone who is in charge. he loves the feeling of being owned by you, his goddess, and being on display for everyone to see. it makes him feel special and wanted
tell him he's your good little slut and feminize him, although he doesn't accept it, he has fantasized more than once about you dressing him up in pretty, girly outfits. he knows that you would take such good care of him and make him feel beautiful and desired, much more than he already is<3
slap him, peg him, degrade him, ride him, praise him... practically use him
you hummed as you looked for some strap that could break the little naughty whore you had behind you, he had been very whimsy all this time that you were gone
he even touched himself without your permission, you found him in the room you both shared, humping his hand while making a moaning noise like a bitch and he seemed to have forgotten you were right there
"oh my god what did i do, im so sorry mommy..." he sobbed when you heard his voice from inside of the closet
"what is this my babyboy?" you asked while staring at him
he blushed heavily but still tried to find the words, "i uhm... im sorry about earlier, i was really confused and all, it won't happen again i promise-"
"didnt we agreed that if i caught you doing something like this again you would be punished?"
he tried hard to say anything but you didn't give him any chance "well baby, i'm not gonna forgive this..."
he stared at you in fear and he slowly took off your skirt, "so what are you gonna do now?" he asked with big, childish eyes
"do you wanna know what's gonna happen now?" you ask with an evil smile on your face
he nodded nervously while looking down, he didnt understand why you had come here to punish him, all he did was touching himself!:((
"bad boys deserve to be punished and take up in the ass mommy's huge cock"
now, at this moment you had a big dildo tied to your waist, probably one of the biggest ones you had used with him. you tried to close your legs a little and press the base of the fake cock against your crotch to get some stimulation, you imagined that this time it would be like the other times, him lying on his back, with his legs open, your dildo in his ass, and your hands jerking off his neglected cock<33
he loved being dominated by you after all, no woman ever made him feel more wanted and horny than you :3
but now, you couldn't imagine it anymore. he stood there completely naked and scared:(
"baby, just let me put this thing in your butt and i'll leave you alone, it wont hurt much, i promise..."
he shook his head. completely scared and helpless:(((
"just trust me baby... you want mommy to fuck you, don't you?"
the question had been rhetorical, but you knew exactly what he wanted. he stared at you with those huge eyes, shivering from fear and need, "yes please mommy, i-i need you to please me.."
"good boy<33" you whispered and moved closer to him. "close your eyes and wait for mommy to fuck your sweet asshole :3"
he followed your orders like a good boy and he closed his eyes waiting for you to get ready to slide your fake cock into his ass<3
"mhmmm-m-mommy" his cute moans, echoing in the silence of the night, helped you to relax a bit before going through with it
"ready baby?" you asked as you pushed more of the toy towards his hole and started sliding it slowly inside of him
"uhhuh-hhuh-mm-mmm" he answered in a whisper as you continued to slide your big plastic dick in and out of his ass, occasionally stopping to put pressure on the tip of the cock
"your mommy loves how tight you are babyboy~ fuck- could you call me by my name sweetheart?" you asked while pushing the dildo deeper inside of him
"mhmm hmmm- y/n!! y/n baby<3" he moaned in excitement, he was trying his best to make his tiny asshole take more of the giant dildo inside of it, but he was struggling. his cute face was red from embarrassment and lust, you could tell he was really enjoying every second of it though<33
"oh my god mo...mommyyy!! i cant hold it, its coming!" he cried out loudly
the combination of his cries and you slowly moving the dildo in and out of his ass filled the room with soft moaning sounds <33
you finally stopped the slow motion movements and decided to speed up a little bit, slowly slid the big strap inside of him, each inch pushing further inside of him, deeper and deeper until it pressed against his prostate, stimulating him with gentle vibrations until he reached another orgasm:(((
he collapsed onto the floor, breathing heavily while you removed the strap from his ass. you smiled down at him and knelt down to pet his hair, smiling widely at the sight of your babyboy getting pleasure from such things
a minute later he turned around and hugged you tightly, "thanks mommy... i love you so much <3" he said in between kisses on your cheek you smiled, "of course you do baby, i love you too <3" you replied and kissed him passionately on the lips
then, with nothing else left to do you both fell asleep wrapped up in each others arms:)

Something About Those Left Behind.
Tumblr media
Maybe each of them has a part of you after all, Mephone4. . .
ANALYSIS/THEORY RAMBLE IN READ MORE !!
Perhaps I'm going insane and it's the 4/5 am speaking but...
Each of them represent Mephone4 in a way. That's why they're the ones he left behind. This is why theyre the finale 4. This is why Taco is also here. This is important.
Baseball
He's more so a follower than a leader. Which is easy to say Mephone4 was a follower to Cobs.
He did what Nickel thought was best, even though Baseball even doubted the suggestions. Nickel always talked down to Baseball's opinion, and even used Baseball against himself at times. He needed Nickel.
Nickel wasnt the leader, yet Baseball was following his every word.
Mephone4 created the show, but Adam... Steve Cobs was always pulling some strings here and there.
Eventually, when Nickel was eliminated he felt so so lost. He had no direction, no where to go.
Mephone4 had no direction at first himself when he learned who Cobs truly was. He felt betrayed by the one who was closest to him. Hurt. So he fled.
They're both running away from the issue. The home they made. Certain people they should've cared more for and listened to. (Suitcase/Toilet)
Baseball is also the part that wants to get serious from what he fled from.. from what he lost... but could never really confront the problem until it's brought up to his face.
Similiar to Mephone4! But he took copium in a different route. Which leads to-
Lightbulb
LIGHTBULBBB... Ughhhhh!!!
She is all of Mephone4's suppression.
Focus on fun! Games !! Whimsy, silly!!
Distractions.. Lightbulb was sad and alone on the inside.. but on the outside, she is cheery and happy!! Nothing can dull this bright light! She's not even transparent !!
This can also apply to Mephone4. He runs this show to escape his problems, to have an escape from his worries and fears. Lightbulb symbolizes his anxieties by completely ignoring her own.
But that shell started to break once all of Lightbulb's companions were eliminated from the game. She was alone and disheartened. Her emotional support, gone. The lightheartedness was still there, but was breaking. All the pressure weighing on her shoulders, the pressure of being responsible. The pressure of doing good to her team!...
Similiar to the pressure of needing to be perfect. Generate this perfect, do this task right. Isn't it, Mephone4? The need to satisfy.
When she finally gets her crew back, she lights up again. Mephone4 needs this fake reality, because like Lightbulb with the Bright Lights, the contestants are his light too.
When Lightbulb comes face to face with MephoneX, she sees Paintbrush before the end, supporting her. Trying to help.
She accepts her defeat, her end, with a smile.
Mephone4 didn't have any support. He accepts his defeat with a frown. If he had a light at that moment, perhaps he would've been more confident.
Suitcase
Suitcase, out of all the others, is the only newbie left in the competition. She's been around the least amount of time.. she's new.
She's alone.
Sure she met Nickel, Baseball and Balloon, but as the final four, she doesn't trust Baseball anymore. Nickel and Balloon got voted out.
She refused to bring Baseball into the final two due to the issues of leadership and trust. Knife gave her trust and friendship, what true alliances could be.
Mephone4 trusted Floor in season 3. What partnership done right can provide you if the two parties actually accept one another. And are honest.
Other than this.. Suitcase focuses on the false parts of reality over reality itself since she can't figure out what's real or fake.. This can relate to Mephone4 struggling to let the show go.. this is his life, he doesn't want to leave it. Everyone here feels real yet he didn't realize til later that it's all fake.
One last thing relating to the two.. they're outside the comfort zone.
Suitcase is the one season 2 debuter that was left over. Mephone4 was the most unique out of all other Mephone products. They're a needle in a haystack.
Knife
Knife is a bit more hard to crack on how he relates as I dont have as much thought on him.. but here's some thoughts...
Knife overall is a tough guy. He focuses on reality more than fiction. He's a contrast to Suitcase, who struggles to piece what's real and fake.
In relation to Mephone4, Knife can act a bit smug. Mainly when it comes to his teasing with Taco in S2E15, it gave some kinda Mephone4 charm of messing with people.
He cares for people despite his fronting jerk attitude, being accepting and even providing advice.
The best trait Knife can be given is his major growth from who he once was. He was always a soft hearted guy, but he slowly learned to show that more often to the outside.
As for Mephone4.. he's also attempting this. It's just much harder for him.
Mephone4 has the constant show/host persona up, yet it is shown the contestants mean alot to him.. more than they could ever possible understand.
Like Knife, Mephone4 learned how to express himself just a little bit more..
Taco
Taco. Taco Taco Taco.
It's easy to pick up what she's about..
Betrayal. Wanting to leave it all behind. Staging an act. A front. Manipulation.
So much of this can relate to Mephone4 and his history.
Taco is all of Mephone4's guilt, thoughts, trauma and etc jumbled into one messy taco oc.
Taco put up an act, Mephone4 puts up an act.
Taco went into hiding, Mephone4 went into hiding.
Taco is British, Mephone4 is- uh... no he's not British. Why is Taco Britis-
Back to the point.
Taco is the most in depth character out of them all. Her whole story line can be pieced and compared to Mephone4's, at least in theming.
It all starts in season 1, where she's different from the rest of the cast. She's zany, wacky. But she also has smart moments. The finale of season 1 showed she fooled them all, planned this from the beginning.
In a way, this here can relate to Steve Cobs. Mephone4 maybe felt like he was being played the fool. He thought Cobs of what appeared like a father figure.. someone he could have fun and joy with. Later down the line, Mephone4 realizes Cobs wasn't what he pictured him to be. Which was a cruel person who harms others for his benefit. (Mephone3gs)
Taco also harms people for her own benefit. She betrays Pickle, manipulates Microphone, is a thief, kills Test Tube, and practically offers weapons at any given notice.
An innocent object who actually wasn't a friend at all. Someone who betrays others.
But unlike Cobs, Taco is much more than that.
Alongside Mephone4's betrayal of Cobs' true motives, Taco also fits Mephone4's overall rebellious actions against Cobs.
If Mephone4 ever chose to rebel that is. Mephone4 ran away, but Taco strikes back. She's probably what Mephone4 wished he could've done. Take action.
The moment Taco noticed Microphone leave the game.. she goes to convince EVERYONE to leave the game.
What if this was also a parallel to Meeple?...
What if Mephone4 truly wanted to help everyone there.. but he just couldn't.
In the end, the thought of Pickle finding Taco broke her down. The one who she hurt.. finding her here.
Mephone4 breaks down at the thought of everyone finding out. At the thought of Cobs finding him.
In the end.. each character Mephone4 froze in time and left behind...
Were him.
He was overall... running from himself. Not just Cobs.
Himself.
His story. His life.
Things outside of this show.
The two leaders. The two sides of positivity and negativity.
The two finalists. The borders of reality and fiction.
Taco. The outcast and desire of needing a change.
They're all for you, Mephone4.

fix your face, love - fushiguro megumi
cw: language (it's me let's be fr)
notes: expansion on the drabble I made here, still short but not drabble short
Tumblr media
The man couldn't help that his eyes so naturally trailed over others, taking them in accordingly as they passed. While he didn't find himself too particular about people, his mind never ceased to pick them apart. Piece by piece, look by look, if you ever had a moment of panic you were being judged - it was certainly on him.
Every now and then he would flicker his gaze to you, watching as your eyes tracked over lines in a book, then return to his usual. He didn't know, nor did he care, how long the pair of you remained there - reading as he people watched. The weather was warm, comfortable even, as he sat with his hand on his cheek. Propping himself up against the small table you both occupied. Fushiguro was a type of man who could never, truly, be bored. He always found something to engage his mind, whether it read, scroll mindlessly on his phone, or his personal favorite: watching.
But a puff of air escaping your lips piqued his attention, turning his head to look over, he was met with a judgmental gaze in the opposite direction. "What the-?" He heard you mumble to yourself before rolling your eyes, transfixed on whatever person managed to gain your, quite subjective, glare.
Smiling to himself at the action, a low chuckle passed his lips. A joyous sound compared to his previous endeavors, complimenting your own in the moment. "Fix your face, love," he mused, his smile pulling only slightly more as you turned to face him. Your scowl was apparent, which only made him chuckle again. "Fix it," he repeated, "you're too obvious. You look like an ass."
"Well maybe their ass haircut shouldn't be so obvious," you quipped, rolling your eyes once more. However, your scowl slowly but surely fell, molding into features of content and satisfaction as you looked to the man.
"You hang around me too much," he retorted. Rolling his own dark eyes as your expression changed from condescending to affectionate, "you used to be kind - loving even. Now look at you."
Letting the book naturally close within your hands, you let a chuckle pass your lips. "Personally, I don't think I hang around you enough," you prodded his shoulder with your Index to tease. "And I'm still kind," you argued, "I'm nicer than you at least, Mr. Grumpy."
"God," he breathed aloud, exasperatedly but still teetering on contentment. "If you don't think you're around me enough, you've gone completely mental." His tone was gentle, almost teasing, an action the man wasn't too keen with but nonetheless sported.
"What can I say?" You asked rhetorically, a bit of whimsy in your voice. This tone always frightened him, he never really knew what to expect from you when your voice turned to teases. "I'm crazy in love with you, dumbass, I always want to be around you."
He didn't want for his cheeks to burn as much as they did, a flustered hue of pink rising to his face at your statement. The corners of his lips faltered from the smile he held, truly biting back a grin as his jaw tightened. But he would rather die than to admit he found your pick up lines admirable - cute even. "Shut up," he huffed. However, the smile that so earnestly wanted to escape, crept on his pale lips. Pulling the sides of his mouth up as he rolled his eyes, "that was stupid."

If you don’t mind me dropping a request for Katsuki headcanons then here I am…
(I know I’m in a whole other famdom right now and I don’t even simp for Bakugo (he’s yours he’s yours, I got a dif man 😉) but I’m bored and this is just an idea)
So.. what if Bakugo was dating a y/n that was just as much of an idiot as Kaminari 😥
If you haven’t done this already -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Katsuki dating a silly reader.
700 words~
Tumblr media
Katsuki pretends to be annoyed by your air headedness but actually finds it adorable. He feels responsible for watching out for you.
He is quick to tell off anyone who insults you.
He secretly loves that you get along well with his friends.
However, he is insecure about the way Kirishima and Kaminari can have you rolling in laughter effortlessly. He won't ever mention it but it's apparent by the pout he has any time you're laughing at Kaminari's newest joke.
He loves the way you can cut through his seriousness and bring whimsy to his life. He doesn't know what he'd do without you. Heck, probably never smile again.
He is quick to catch you with any mistakes you make, albeit he scolds you for it.
He is overly tough with you when you spar, but it's only because he wants you to be as strong as you can be to take out any villains you face.
Katsuki's friends are constantly blown away by the things you get him to agree to do. Shopping at a dumb mall? Fine, he'll hold your bags. Going to an amusement park with way too many screaming kids? "Fine- if you really want to go." Singing along to a cheesy ass song? Mmm maybe, don't press your luck too far...
You brought back your food and sat at the outside table of the sports bar rejoining the boys. Music played as different sports ball games played on the various screens outside.
"Tch- why'd you two choose this place anyway? None of us give a damn about these games," Katsuki said huffing and gesturing to the TVs.
"It's the only place that's in the middle of all our places," Denki explained, as you began to take bites of your food.
"Mmm I guess- the food is shit though," Katsuki continued to complain but took a bite of his food all the same.
The song changed to an easily recognizable tune: Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. Your and Eijiro's eyes immediately locked. The first verse synced up between the both of you as you sang.
Turn around~
Every now and then I get a little bit lonely
And you're never coming 'round
"No, stop." Katsuki huffed at you both beginning to sing. However, Katsuki's annoyance was only met with Denki joining in on the next verse.
Turn around~
Every now and then I get a little bit tired
Of listening to the sound of my tears
"Are you kidding me," Katsuki complained hiding his face in his hand. Which let Hanta know it was his turn to chime in. The four of you now had a choir.
Turn around~
Every now and then I get a little bit nervous
That the best of all the years have gone by
You three continued to sing increasing your enthusiasm with each lyric. Feeding off one another's enthusiasm.
Turn around, bright eyes~
Every now and then I fall apart
"Come on Bakugo, you know this song," Denki said nudging him during the instrumental part of the song.
"Hell no you're out of your mind!" Katsuki yelled. "Shut the hell up you four- you're making a scene."
"Awe~ Come on Kats~" You encouraged him. "You gotta do the next part with us!"
Katsuki eyed you irritated as Eijiro swayed back and forth in his seat matching Denki's dance movements.
You and the boys began singing back as the lyrics picked up again. This time, even louder and more enthusiastic than before.
And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you hold only hold me tight
We'll be holding on forever.
Then to all your surprise, Katsuki chimed into the last verse with you all.
I really need you tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight
Katsuki talked out, his version of singing, while you four sang as loud as ever.
"Let's go Kacchan," Denki laughed clapping his hands together in excitement.
"Awe so cute- you'd do anything they asked," Eijiro said with a giggle earning himself a bark from Katsuki.
"SHUT UP SHITTY HAIR!"

Hi! Could I request number 19 with Sirius! I'm seeing the vision of a victorian playboy vampire in my head hehe, thank you <3
He would be such a prim little vampire!!
You hear a bang in the theatre as you start closing up and roll your eyes.
A month and a half ago, you’d have been scared, but after all this time at the theatre you can’t bring yourself to feel the fear.
When you hear the bang again and the unmistakable sound of glass shattering you stomp to the stage room and glower.
“Oh a theatre loving vampire, how original!” You call as you spot the blood sucker on stage near the broken bulb.
All your coworkers had mentioned seeing the black haired man multiple times but they all brushed it off as a specter.
You’d met the black haired man one time on your smoke break when he’d looked longingly at the cigarette and then hid again.
“Is that sarcasm or sass, mortal?” You smile as he sits on the stage, his coat only a little crumpled.
“The things you’d do for attention, I would hope you could tell the difference, Sirius.”
He shrugs, watching as you clean up the bigger bits of glass with your hands. “I was bored, you never show fun plays anymore. I’m bored of Hamlet and Julius Cesar.”
You roll your eyes, tutting when he makes to help you. “What would you prefer?”
Sirius takes the glass from you, and cleans the smaller shards. “The Ferryman? King Charles III? I’d even suffer through your actors rendition of Twelfth Night, darling.”
You sigh as he tosses the glass into a rubbish bin. “They’re not that bad.”
Sirius gawps, “They’re entirely awful! There’s no passion or soul in their acting.”
You snicker, “Pot calling kettle black a bit there, Siri. Neither do you.”
He nips your hand playfully, “I have enough of a soul for the theatre.” Despite the playfulness, you know he’s sad about not being able to act anymore.
“Maybe I can talk them into something you can be in. Introduce you as my foreign friend, you could pass for French.”
He flicks his hair and bares his teeth, he’s got a pretty smile even with the fangs.
“You’re a doll, but I think I’m a bit past it poppet. Plus, I’d outshine them so spectacularly that I’d be getting so many calls that I couldn’t go to.” You lean your head on his shoulder, even with all the layers he’s cold.
“I wish you weren’t tied to this place.” You murmur, Sirius shrugs. A millennia goes to the perimeter of a place really numbs you to it.
“If you find a Lovegood you could break it, but I do believe they’re all gone.”
You sit up, “A what?” He cannot be serious.
“A Lovegood, they’re the best magicians in the world. Well witches is more accurate, but they’ve got that sense of whimsy to them that can’t be dimmed even through generations.”
“Sirius ask me what my last name is.” you’re buzzing and he can hear the excitement in your blood.
“Poppet,” you shake your head.
“I told you occultism isn’t as feared as it used to be. These talismans aren’t just a joke. My mum says they help you see things,” you shrug.
“I used to think she was full of it, till I came across ghosts and a few other things that definitely made kids think I was crazy.”
“You’ve been under my nose for months? I’ve lost my touch then.”
You can’t help the teasing lilt to your voice, “Well you can’t really be blamed Can you? You haven’t fed on anything but mice in decades.”
Sirius scowls, “I won’t feed on you, don’t even try it.”
You shrug, “I’ll go home and see if I can get anything out of my mother about the Lovegood legacy. See if I can find Luna’s grimoire.”
Sirius kisses you’re forehead, “You’re a saint, do try not to get hurt looking for it. If you can’t find it, I’m quite comfortable where I am.”
You don’t say anything as you walk out, Sirius stopping you for a kiss to your lips before letting you go.
You’re certain you can find the book; your great great grandmother was just as kooky as you are, you have an inkling of where to look.

Azul x Malleus brother male reader
Fae courting
Tumblr media
A broach
A coin
And a paperclip.
These are the things that Azul had received from (name) Draconia within the past few days, the fae wandering to him at random points and placing them in his hand wandering off, leaving the octopus merman VERY confused as he held the shiny trinket.
what was this??? What's he trying to tell him?!
"Well I don't understand the political spectrum of box beetles but I'm sure we could work out something" (name) said softly, voice joyful and absent-minded. "Perhaps we could ask my brother to assist on this" (name) offered unaware of eyes on him.
Jade and Floyd watched in the distance, following their bosses order on figuring out (name)s motives but so far they saw him tend to mushrooms and talk to insects along with chatting with his brother about fae nonsense, nothing to raise suspicion.
"A... Iron frog?"
"Silver, iron doesn't like fae" (name) said airily as he played with Azuls hand "I was informed by the trees that a confectionery has bloomed in the east..." He said to the other who raised an eyebrow "ok?"
"I wish to be invited" (name) said looking at him with a smile and Azul just stared "so?"
"Perhaps someone could invite me and tell me tales of their whimsies" (name) looked hopeful but Azul wasn't getting it "I hope you find someone to do that with" and with that (name) was alone.
"He's my paramour yet he rejected my advances for an outing" (name) said to Lilia who smiled at his nephew figure who looked confused, not understanding why his beloved would not go to a cafe with him despite not asking but instead implying that he wanted to go there with him.
And now Lilia was dealing with a pouty prince "perhaps I should ask my beloved child of the sea to play his table games... Oh I should have considered his feelings on the subjects of our engagements" (name) looked upset with himself "perhaps take him to a cafe of sorts that has board games" Lilia supplied and (name) tilted his head confused "I will seek Council with someone to assist me on this" and with that (name) was gone.
'that sweet hopeless sparrow's Lilia thought as he watched him wander off.
"Oh? Hello (name)" Vil looked at the younger Draconia brother who handed him old coins "I wish to seek in conversation with you in regards to romantic rendezvous" (name) said seriously and Vil looked very confused "my beloved paramour Azul has rejected my proposition for a romantic outing and I wish to know what would fancy him instead" Vil wanted to laugh at this situation, the fae precious in his attempts to woo a man who Vil isn't even sure knows (name) has been pursuing.
"Well perhaps we can figure something out"
"By the seven he was asking me out" Azul said stopping in his tracks as he went over the earnings from the lounge "the coins... He was asking me out"
"Oh he thinks you're dating" Ace said casually as he sipped on his drink "what?" Azul looked floored at this "he refers to you as his Paramore, you accepted Fae courting gifts after all"
Azul needed to find (name).
Vil smiled as he dressed (name) up, the fae prince pleased with the flower crown and nice clothes that weren't too restrictive "now you go tell him that you wish to see his coin collection" Vil was supportive of the other as he urged him to go find Azul.
(Name) wandered the halls blissfully as he looked for his beloved ocean born lover "(name)!" Azul called out as he briskly walked to the other "hello fair ocean treasure, I was hoping we could eng--""are you telling people were dating?" He asked getting to the poing and (name) tilted his head "why would I not speak of our courtship"
Frustrated Azul sighed "because we aren't?"
"But you accepted my gifts?"
"That was a mistake"
Azul regretted his words at the simply heartbroken expression (name) held at the word mistake, it was a mistake? But... But he accepted his courting?
(Name) was a mistake to him?
"(Name), I di-"" very well, I hope you find yourself in good health... Goodbye"
And with that (name) was gone.
Malleus was protective of his younger brother, (name) was his kin after all.
So seeing him so visibility distraught as he clutched a flower crown in his hands "I wish not to seek romantic intentions anymore..."
"But what of your courtship with the ocean born?" Malleus comforted his brother who looked tearful "he claimed our courtship was a mistake!" He cried into his hands and Malleus felt rage bubble within him at his brothers betrayal.
"He is not worthy of your affections"
"That was cruel" Rook spoke up after seeing the interaction "he was so hopelessly in love with you too... Poor little thing" he sighed with false sadness "he had plans of asking you to do things you enjoyed too, he had Vil help him and everything..."
Azul felt like shit.
He missed the clear Fae courting traditions and (name) was hurt because of it, Azul couldn't deny be felt... Romantic interest towards the horned male but in the heat of it he spoke out of his ass.
Word got around fast about the "break up" and (name) seemed absolutely miserable, Vil comforting the poor fae as Silver showed him a very small toad to cheer him up.
Azul sighed as he held a hand held glass greenhouse with tiny mushrooms in it and (prefered treat) as he walked to the trio "if you wish to know, I have not spoken of anything" (name) looked down as Silver glared at the octopus and Vil sighed but saw the gifts "Silver, could you help me with something?" Vil dragged an angry Silver away as (name) fidgeted slightly, refusing to make eye contact with the other "I can assure you, I will no longer cause mistakes for you" (name) whispered and was ready to leave when Azul stopped him "please... Just listen" (name) continued sitting and looked suspicious and sad "I was.. an ass yesterday, I was thrown off and reacted horribly... Would you please accept this courting gift?" (Name) looked at the items hesitantly as he looked at the other.
"But I'm a mistake"
"No you're not, I was being a jerk and I didn't understand why you would want to date me"
"Because you are like the ray of dawn on a winter's morn" (name) said simply as he took the small terrarium and inspected it "a death cap?" He smiled and looked at the other "You are forgiven sea born, but if you tread in those waters again I will not be able to stop my brother" he said simply and Azul shivered as he remembered (name)s brother was literally one of the most powerful mages in existence.
"And by the way" Azul said softly as he walked with a still shy (name) "your gifts were very nice"
(Name)s smile at that moment could melt the sun, so brilliant and pure "those are fae coins, you collect coins so they would be good for your collection"

Part 5 of A Rocky Start - Full Masterlist Here
-☠️-
It was stupid, you were both aware of it. You’d get in trouble and be marked for life as liabilities if anyone found out, if even so much as one person saw you both and reported it back to Price. Reality was though, that neither of you could bear the thought of ending things. Sprinkle in a little hubris and it was a recipe for thinking you were above it all.
You felt secure in your hiding spot, shrouded in the bodies of the oblivious people around you, protected by the roar of the ramping conversations. Though, when it came down to it, it was more like you were the oblivious ones. All cuddled up close and murmuring to each other through an exchange of soft kisses and sweet promises that you could only hope were more than a shared dream.
You’d leaned as far off the stool as you could, magnetised to him. Body brushing up against König every chance that you could get, running your fingers along his scar torn arm, blinking syrupy slowly up at him and simpering like an idiot. It felt like catching snowflakes in the winter. It felt like König would disappear at any moment, the dream would shatter and he’d fade away and so you had to cling to him like an anchor to keep him in place.
You’d never felt so needy before. Especially not for someone that you held so much tension with, so much mixed emotion. Even under it all, under the whole whimsy of making plans and talking about booking quiet hotels out in the sticks, letting your heads float in the clouds, you could feel the heavy weight of the words you’d yet to let goof. What remained from that night when things had gone wrong.
No matter how much you’d thought about it, you struggled to come to a clear conclusion in your head. A way to navigate past it all - the shifting sands of your feelings. On the one hand some of it still disturbed you and gnawed at the edges of your mind and on the other, you couldn't bring yourself to think that you were much better, that you had the right to criticise him.
You hated to think of him holding onto it all and internalising the words you’d spat out in a moment of panic. You’d made him out to be a monster while your hands were just as bloody as his, you’d acted as if yours dripped righteously because you’d killed your quarries quickly. It was hardly fair - though none of the situation really was.
That’s how you found yourself struggling to speak when König had finally taken the helm and steered you out of calm waters. He wasn’t going to let things go on without some assurance, he needed something from you. Needed to know it wasn’t going to fall apart.
“Almost sounds like a fantasy doesn’t it?” König said, gazing up from his drink and back to you.
“What? Getting some time away together?”
“Mhmm,” he mused.
“We could do it you know,” you smiled. “I…actually really want this.”
He regarded you for a moment with a tilt of his head, his sculpted face set in a stony marble contemplation. He looked like he knew exactly what he wanted to say, but he couldn’t open his mouth past a small pout. He was trapped in silence until he finally took a breath and smiled weakly.
“If we really were to do it…if we really did plan a trip together, spend the weekend away, then I need you to be honest with me. You have to tell me how you really feel about what happened.”
Now it was your turn to pause. You knew where this was going - it was inevitable. You just wished that it wasn’t and you could remain suspended in your little bubble for the rest of time, cuddled up and without a care. Even when you knew that would have been selfish, because it was easier for you to forget what happened, easier for the person that caused the hurt to move past it.
Realistically you were never going to do that to him. Responsibility weighed heavy and it wouldn’t just disappear, you had to take a hold of it and tell König how you really felt. The only way over was through. You just had to hope that he’d have the same view on it all, that he would want to work with you on it.
“You have to understand,” he said quietly, speaking again before you could settle on the right words, “you are the first person that I’ve had feelings for in a very long time. When you told me the other night that you thought I was acting with you, that i was this- this monster of a person, and pretending I cared, it really hurt me. Even despite the kiss we shared that night, and the things we’ve talked about even now…I need to know that you won’t run from me again. I can’t stand the thought of us taking things further and you turning your back on me because there’s a repeat of what happened - it would break me this time.”
It would break me this time.
It was like an icy wave rising out of the depths and drowning you. The cold hard realisation that you’d had more of an effect than you’d realised. König now worried - even after you telling him that you missed him more than anything - that you’d leave him just like that. Even when that was impossible. You’d agreed to meet him even after all that had happened for gods sakes, you were risking your career for him, you were ready to face Price’s wrath just for the chance to see him again and make up for everything. You weren’t giving him up.
“I don’t think you’re a monster König, I never did - even when I said all those things to you… but it’s like I said earlier, my mind isn’t completely clear on it all. There’s still things about that night that make me uncomfortable, I still don’t like picturing you doing things like that and- and well…the laughing - that still gets me,” you said with a sigh, trying your hardest not to break eye contact. “But no matter what though, no matter what has happened and what will happen - I know that I want to work through it with you. I don’t want to run, I want to be right here. I want you to trust me. I know that I fucked up telling you that I thought that badly of you and I know it’ll take some time for you to feel like you’re secure, but we can both reassure each other, yeah? We can navigate through it together because- well because it’s like you said. You have feelings for me and I- uh- I…care about you too, so so much. So much. I won’t let anything get in the way of that.”
His face was a melting pot of emotion. The curve of his lips wobbled between a grimace and a small smile and his jaw kept clenching and unclenching as he processed what you said. He turned the words over in his mind for a minute, his face giving nothing away as he zoned out into the middle distance, transfixed on the rainbow array of bottles behind the bar.
“So how do we move past it?” he breathed.
“I suppose we just try to talk about it more…I’m not sure it's something I’ll immediately forget about, but then I guess you won’t just forget about what I did either,” you mumbled. “We can learn from each other though, and understand each other’s perspectives. Like I said before, we can work through it all. If you want to.”
He nodded and studied the bar again, thinking deeply for a second. König’s face still didn’t betray anything, he was so good at wearing masks he barely needed the cloth to cover what he thought. His hard jaw was set and his pale blue eyes were haunting a deep space far from where you both sat.
It was only when he finally grabbed your hand again, when he wove his work beaten fingers through yours that you knew it would be ok. You knew that he wanted this just as much as you, no matter what. He barely even had to say it, but he did, the words like honeysuckle petals softly tickling at your ears.
“Yes, I think that you’re right. We can do this together,” he murmured, gripping your hand tightly. “You and I will make this work any way that we can. I’ve never wanted anyone like this before and I won’t give you up for anything, not for Price, not for Ghost, not for the world. You’re mine…and I will do anything to keep it that way.”
-☠️-
Barely a week after that night, you found yourself checking into a quaint little hotel in the middle of nowhere, attempting to ignore the Price shaped shadow that stained your peripheral vision. You’d packed yourself into the car and driven off with your hold all, not stopping to look back. It almost felt like you were going back to base again, as if you’d taken on another mission and you were going through the motions, that helped for most of the journey.
It was only when the car had crunched into the gravely drive that it finally sank in that you were really going to meet König. There wasn’t going to be any interruptions or distractions, you didn’t have to silently walk past him in the hallways and feel your chest sink knowing that you couldn’t acknowledge him. It was just you and him, unfettered by rules and boundaries.
In the mouth of the hotel reception, you’d muttered out your details to the stuffy looking woman behind the desk. She’d given you the same feeling some people must have when checking into a prison sentence. She clicked over to you in her perfectly pressed grey jacket and skirt and demanded to know if you had a booking. Her eyes roved over you, her lips pinching together when she asked why you were visiting, and you said you were just taking a trip away with a friend. She didn’t seem to like that very much. Her papery worn hand had stopped scratching down your details in her book, then she’d proceeded to continue again after a brief but unmistakable sigh.
She was onto you. She didn’t even know you, but even she knew you were up to no good. Her beady eyes certainly betrayed her as they narrowed behind her thin gold framed glasses.
The Captain Price in your mind took on a more solid shape, made your hand shake and jingle the keys that you’d been given. What the fuck do you think you’re doing, Sergeant? You had no idea what you were doing, reason had been abandoned for a far more attractive proposition. It was only there at the desk that you realised the full weight of your decision, trying to stay calm in front of the glaring figure before you.
You’d only gotten to leave after being strictly warned that you weren’t to disturb the other guests ‘should you and your friend spend much time in each other's rooms’. You’d nodded with a thick gulp and attempted to smile as you slunk away from her, dreaming up that she was on the phone to Price just as you were out of sight.
You were being ridiculous.
You sighed and trailed your eyes along the yellowing floral wallpaper as you passed it, laughing softly as you realised how paranoid you were being. It was no use worrying about Price now, you’d already committed to the trip, so why torture yourself with seeing him in every nook and corner? With that in mind you walked a little more confidently across the soft pink carpet, eventually making your ascent up the groaning old stairs, keeping yourself focused on not tripping up on the runner rods. One step at a time, soldier, you’ll need those legs to lean on when you’re scrubbing toilets.
The room you’d ended up in was exactly as you’d pictured it after seeing the rest of the hotel. It was as if you’d stepped into the past, something straight from the 1920’s with its old decor and unplaceable draft that permeated throughout the room like it was an extra feature.
The bed looked older than you. The kind that would squeal and shout traitorously at every little movement you’d make and was topped with lacy white sheets complete with multi coloured floral quilt - it clashed with the wallpaper of course. Though it worked with the equally ugly rug in the centre of the room, mangled and worn with age, reaching out its frayed tendrils; almost touching the little desk off to the side and the wardrobe next to it. The bathroom wasn't much better either, all avocado coloured porcelain and tiny enough to accommodate a hobbit and not much more.
It made you wonder how König was going to cope, his almost seven foot frame was going to be like something from Alice in Wonderland. You smirked at the thought and tossed your hold all on the bed, freeing your hand up so that you could fish out your phone and text the number you kept under - mother. Your Latest act of subterfuge. A way to receive messages from König without being found out. You really did feel like a kid again.
You
You’re gonna love this place, big guy ;)

Mother

You
You’re so fuckin lame dude
Mother
Is that any way to talk to your mother?
You found yourself cackling at his response and clamped your hand over your mouth, not wanting to draw too much attention to yourself already. The old harpy downstairs probably already thought you were both having a secret affair or something, the last thing you needed was to draw more of her ire. It wasn’t like you could go and explain to her that neither of you was spurning a partner back home, and that you were actually hiding from your Captain turned father. So really it was totally fine for you both to be sneaking around in the countryside together!
She didn’t seem like the type that would like that explanation either anyway.
No. Reality was, you were part of one of the most elite task forces in the world, and there you were hovering above a frilly old bed about to wait for your crush coming home like a propaganda poster. When will my would-be forbidden boyfriend return from Austria? You snorted at the thought and dove into your bag, rustling around in search of your tablet. Things were bad enough without you waiting at the window with your metaphorical tail stuck in alert position - excited for König and fearful of Price and the paranoid possibility of him having a tracker on you both.
Fuck that. You watched TV and tuned out the tinfoil hat thoughts as best as you could manage.
You didn’t have to wait long in the end anyway, not if you were honest with yourself. König had announced his arrival with a thud and an ‘ow, oida!’ and immediately you knew your man had arrived. It seemed unlikely anyone else would be in the corridor, you assumed, banging their head and shouting in German.
Wouldn’t you know it, once you’d poked your head out of the parapet of your room door, you’d laid your eyes straight on him. You emerged from your hiding place and watched as König rubbed his head and looked at the doorway like he’d square up to it. A tiny laugh escaped before you could cover it up when you realised you’d been right all along; the place was far too small for him.
Though he’d never admit to it - that you were sure of. He’d be folding himself in half before he’d admit to being wrong. You’d figured that out when you’d originally questioned his choice in hotel and destination. It screamed home for the geriatric: spend your last years here together, but he wouldn’t hear of it. König had been absolutely adamant he wanted a little old fashioned place out in the countryside, said it was good to stay out of the way of everyone and grant yourselves some privacy, height restrictions be damned.
“Having trouble there, handsome?” You smirked, looking him up and down appreciatively.
He whirled around and faced you, eyes going wide as he realised you’d been watching him. Almost instantly you were admiring him, trailing your eyes over his outfit and his perfectly exposed face.
König was wearing his neck warmer much like usual, though it had been drawn down around his neck - likely to accommodate the nosy old gal downstairs. It fit well enough with the rest of his outfit, tan brown work jacket, white shirt and beat up jeans and boots, but it looked a little odd in the warmer weather. You could only imagine how suspicious she’d been of him, masked up and german, likely two marks against his name. She’d be calling the authorities on you in no time, the neighbourhood watch would be descending down on you from their helicopters if you misstepped even slightly.
“I’m doing just fine, thank you,” König sniffed, leaning his arm up against the top of the doorframe.
“Really? Sure you don’t need a lil pillow or something to strap to your head? Would be a shame if you came back from your time off with brain damage,” you giggled.
“Maybe I’ll avoid it by leaving early then shall I?” he teased, narrowing his eyes.
“Oh c’mon, you know you can’t resist all this” you smirked, tilting your chin. “Besides, it must’ve taken ages to get that big head of yours through the front door, you can’t possibly want to leave already!”
Ignoring the string of muttered German that followed your comment, you closed the gap between you both. Before you could chicken out, you put your arms around him, embracing his big warm body like an oversized plush. König’s muscles tensed at first, reacting like you’d tased him, but he quickly relaxed, letting his own encompass your body before he kissed the top of your head and turned your mind rosy. You could swear you saw blushes of pink cross your vision, eyes clouding while your head went fuzzy.
“Missed you,” you whispered, nuzzling into his chest. “Again.”
“Mhmm, I’d say I did too, but you’ve been so condescending with me,” he murmured, descending into laughter when he caught you glaring up at him.
“Don’t be mean!”
“Alright, alright. I missed you too! Of course I did,” he relented. “Though I think you should be nicer to me, you did make me sacrifice going back to Austria after all.”
He sighed dramatically and suddenly it was your turn to roll your eyes. He’d been trying everything to get you to go to him, but for you it was no dice. The absolute last thing you needed was for Price to see the big Austrian stamp in your passport and turn the national colours in fury. The thought alone was enough to have you going wide eyed and stiff.
“Well I suppose I can be nicer,” you grinned, reluctantly pulling away from him. “We have got two days together, so I’ll have to convince you to stick around somehow.”
“Two whole days, my my,” he said with raised brows. “What are we gonna do with all that time?”
“For starters - hang out without a paparazzi of base personnel waiting to report on the gossip.”
“Not that that will stop them talking. I caught MacTavish over my shoulder trying to get a look at my phone the other day,” he said, shaking his head.
“Really? Did he say anything to you?” You asked, concerned that you’d have to tell him to knock it off somehow without being figured out.
“I stared back at him and he almost died of fright when he finally looked back at me,” he chuckled, his evil laugh making an appearance. “Didn’t stick around long after that.”
“For fucks sake, Soap,” you snorted. “That man’s about as subtle as a canon. Stupid prick.”
“Well what else can you expect from the 141?” König teased, preemptively retreating backwards toward his open doorway.
“Oh, you think you’re a big man firing insults then running away do you?” You asked, folding your arms across yourself.
“Sneaky, please - Im a very big man,” he tittered, cocking a finger gun at you as he disappeared with his oversized rucksack. “I’ll come over to your room in a minute!”
Your earlier assessment was true enough - he was fucking lame. But nevertheless he was the man that you were risking it all for.
“Good luck getting in!” You called, retreating back to yours.
Not that it’d actually be a challenge. You’d gone as far as to ignore a direct order from Price, ignored your own wavering doubts about the darkness that he was capable of and you’d driven five hours just to see him. When it came to König you were a goner. And it was only getting clearer with time.
-☠️-
König had indeed managed to worm his way back into your presence, no matter how much you tried to joke that you were barricading yourself in your room. However, with the promise of a scenic walking route and pub food courtesy of him, you found it in your heart to forgive his earlier comment, giving him a stern look on your way out. He was only forgiven by a slim margin you’d told him.
However as you’d set out and begun to stretch your legs and ease out the travelling aches, you found yourself more and more surprised by how much you were enjoying yourself. The air had cleared and something in the knots of your stomach had come undone. You were Shocked that you were able to forget all about Price, all about the hazards of being together. As if work were just something from a persona that you’d shed. All responsibility and worries scattered in the breeze that shook the tall grass.
It was easy to share his company too. It didn’t feel awkward or like you had to say anything at any particular time. It was natural, just like it was before, when you could talk to him without the threat of Price giving you the sack. Though it struck you like a slap to the face when you realised that it was one of the few rare moments you’d had to talk to each other without being a spectacle, without people watching and commenting. No Soap to tease you about it, no Ghost to pass his judgmental gaze over you both.
That was what made it truly special, it was something just for you both. The place itself turned out to be pretty special too, it was lovely. You had to give König that - even if his hotel was haunted by its judgmental keeper.
The trail was fairly flat, and took you through fields and backroads with only a few sloping hills here and there with plenty of streams that babbled in the backgrounds of your conversations. Eventually you’d come to a little bridge and stopped to take in the view, looking out over the cold spray of the miniature waterfall tumbling down into the river below and past the mossy banks. It rollled down the yellow-green expanse, snaking off somewhere way out to the horizon line.
It was both a noisy, but pretty backdrop that allowed you to get plenty of sly glances in while König was distracted. Your eyes had been tracing his profile like you were trying to paint him. He’d caught you no doubt, the smile that played on his lips told you that much, but he hadn’t made any attempt to stop you looking. He kept staring at the water and had let the quiet lull in your earlier chat remain still.
“I’ve always wondered…do you stare at lots of people like this? Or am I special?”
You blinked back at him and felt blood pool in your cheeks, racing with the rushing water.
“Who says I’m staring at you,” you murmured, leaning against the worn wooden railing. “There’s actually a very nice tree that I’ve been admiring.”
“Oh a nice tree, hmm? I must say, I’ve been compared to a tree many times, but not an awful lot of people call me nice,” he mused, teasingly nudging your shoulder.
“Just me and your mother?” you smirked, firing a shot back at him.
He widened his eyes and tilted his head like a puppy, putting his hand on his chest as if he were pulling the spear you’d buried there out of himself.
“I can’t believe you’re bringing my mother into this!”
“Well, I assume she thinks you’re nice…Sure sounds like it anyway,” you said with a coy smile.
“And by that you mean…?” he asked, eyes narrowing on you.
Your throat could’ve gone dry from the heat in König’s eyes and suddenly his intense gaze felt all too similar to the shake of a rattlesnake's tail. Had you been trying to insult him, you’d have let it die on your lips, but it wasn’t what you were thinking of doing at all. What little you knew of his past, you knew that wasn’t the sort of thing that would go down very well.
“I mean that - judging by the way you sound on the phone to her - she likes to dote on her little precious baby König,” you said with a smirk, “I can always tell when you’re on the phone to her.”
The lit fuse was snuffed out in an instant, and the look in his eyes faded from a warning and into a question. He paused a moment before he spoke again.
“I don’t know whether to be more perturbed that you’ve been listening in on my calls, or if I’m much more interested in finding out how you can tell.”
“I haven’t been listening to your calls! You always answer your phone in front of everyone because we’re all ‘savage’ non German speakers,” you laughed, finally returning the nudge he’d given you earlier. “You make it sound like Price has me spying on you!”
“Maybe he does,” he chuckled dryly, turning to you now. “Maybe you’re perfectly fluent in German and you’re an excellent double agent.”
“Damn it, you’ve caught me! I better tell the guys to come out of the bushes now. Quick Price, get down from that tree before you fall out of it,” you laughed in return, calling out to the fake 141 like they’d really come free from their hiding spots.
König shook his head at you saying something about you being silly under his breath, and turned back to the water again. His body shook the fence with his weight coming to rest on it, one arm propped up so that he could reach up and hold his face in one hand, clearly not used to having it bare as he subconsciously stroked the spot where his neckwarmer would come to. He looked distant for a second, only a fleeting moment, until he swivelled his head back to you and looked at you curiously, raising his brow.
“What is it that makes you say my mother dotes?” he finally asked, giving you a small smile. “If you really are the uncivilised non-german speaker that you claim to be.”
“First of all - you’re so rude. Secondly, its how you talk when you’re on the phone to her, even if it is in German,” you said pointedly. “Your voice always goes all soft and quiet and reassuring like you’re always trying to soothe her…Oh! And you do that thing where you answer all gentle like - ‘hallo, mama’.”
König bit his lip and held back the smile that tried to burst loose.
“Is that really how I sound to you? Like I’m greeting a dying animal? I can’t imagine that’s very attractive.”
“It’s not like that! Your voice goes all sweet and cute,” you replied defensively, sidling up against him.
“Sweet and cute? Niemals! I am not sweet, nor cute,” he huffed, staring you down and rising to his full height.
“You’re very sweet and cute, actually,” you huff, giving his cheek a rub before you can think twice.
Suddenly you’re trapped between the railing and König, the wood creaking out in protest. His heavy chest trapped you fast against him and his arms locked on either side of you, straining as his hands grasped the wood tightly. His hair had fallen over his face and shadowed his eyes, giving them a menacing glint as he continued to look down at you.
“Am I still sweet and cute?” he whispered lowly.
You felt your face burn and your breath shudder. Tremors wracked their way through your legs and you fought to stay on level ground as he forced you down. He wasn’t being either of the aforementioned things you’d said, but he wasn’t being very scary either…
“I’m not scared of you König,” you murmured, breaking the tension and tucking back a rogue strand of his hair. “I still think you’re very sweet.”
He rolled his eyes, sighing down at you like a weary god.
“I’m not.”
“Yes you are,” You grinned. “You’re sweet to me all the time! Always making sure I have my tea and get to watch my movies even when you’re fidgeting like hell. You booked this hotel just so that we could spend time together without being in trouble at work. You watch out for me, you make me feel safe. You’re so sweet.”
He sighed again.
“Ugh, very well then…I  suppose if you really enjoy the whole cute thing I should lean into it more, hm?” he said, a smile slowly creeping across his face. “What do you think, my precious angel? You want me to be sickly sweet with you now? Hm? My Schnuckiputzi? Schnuckiputzihasimausieerdbeertörtchen, my-”
König’s voice purred sweet and high pitched, sounding several levels of unfamiliar as he kept you smushed against the fence with his hand locked to your jaw. His lip jutted out thickly and his eyes went dopey, talking to you like you were a little kitten that he was trying to charm into his lap. It was too much for you, you were overcome with laughter and crying out as he kept up his assault, only pausing when you tried to cover his mouth with your flailing hand.
“Oh my god, you have to stop,” you wheezed, pushing against him. “No more!
“But I’ve barely even started, Schmusebär! I could go on forever,” he laughed, voice muffled by your grasp on him.
“No, please, it’s too much!” you protested.
“Oh, so you’ve had enough? You don’t like the cute thing anymore?”
“I like when you’re cute like you, not cute like that! That’s gross,” you giggled, giving him a playful shove.
“Ok, ok! I’ll dial it back. Anything for my sweet little flower.”
You’d given him a warning look, but he didn’t look in the least bit intimidated - one of the hazards of going out with a guy built like König, he wasn’t going to be scared off by you. Although, you supposed that might’ve been a good thing too.
At the very least he’d stopped after that and you’d enjoyed the rest of the walk in peace. Both of you had become transfixed by the sprawling deer-filled fields and the birds that flew in perfect formations shrieking above your heads. They clouded the skies and brought with them a cold wind that had begun to bite through your clothes and had you leaning into König. Your body brushed against his one time too many and eventually he just rolled his eyes and took your hand in his, firmly dragging you closer so that you could absorb his warmth. It had your heart stuttering for a few beats, still in disbelief that you were really there with him.
-☠️-
After the walk you’d both found a place for dinner, a pub that seemed to have the same interior decorator as your hotel by the looks of it. It had the potential to be trendy with its exposed brick and old iron fireplace, though it was covered in doilies and old horrible paintings and florals - much the same as the hotel.
Despite the gross decor, the food was delicious and the drink even more so after your long winding walk. König had ordered himself a feast, getting a steak pie, chips and mac and cheese, claiming that anything else would have him starving later on. Meanwhile you’d sat with an amazed look as you took slow bites of your burger; watching him devour all his.
“You think that I just got to this size by magic?” he’d asked, taking a big gulp of his beer. “It takes a lot to maintain this.”
“I’m not judging, I’m just amazed that you’re actually eating all that,” you’d noted, reaching across the table to steal a bit of mac and cheese.
“Hey! You didn’t ask if you could have any.”
“Well that’s what you get for going to dinner with someone called Sneak,” you’d chastised.
He’d made a joke about sneaking out and letting you pay for it all, but even after that you’d both melted into the warmth of the fireplace and ordered a few more beers; feeling pleasantly tipsy by the time you had decided to pay.
The wallpaper was growing fuzzy as you’d stared ahead at it and the patterns that had been so clearly defined before were getting lost in the dim light. Your eyes flicked between the swirling shapes and staring over at König, getting lost in the features of his shadowed face, listening out to the consistent rattle of the table as König’s leg gently bounced. Your mind felt hazy, your thoughts danced like the flames reflecting throughout the room, intermingling with the tingles at the back of your skull.
I want to touch him.
I want to trace those scars, I want to feel the curve of his nose and hold his chin in my palm.
I want to hold him, I want to sit in his lap.
I want all of him.
“Is someone a little bit of a lightweight?” he’d teased, noticing the way your eyes drooped.
Your mouth dropped open for a second, feeling heavy as an anvil until you were able to shake yourself out of it. Everything was still fuzzy, your body felt light as a feather and cumbersome all at once. How is he able to talk in full sentences? It hadn’t occurred to you that him being almost twice your size might affect his tolerance, making it far superior to yours.
“Not a lightweight,” you grouched, “Just- just sleepy.”
“Mhmm, I noticed that too, Bierleiche” he laughed, the sound booming rich as pure vanilla in your ears.
“No more names!” you pouted.
“Alright, I won’t call you any more names, but I won’t buy you any more beer either. Let’s get you back.”
You’d protested at this, not really all that passionate about getting to sit up in the stiflingly warm little stoop, but not wanting to part from him quite yet. You knew for a fact that he’d be a gentleman and try to leave you and frankly, you weren’t in the mood for it. You weren’t in the mood for that at all.
However, even despite your moaning and grousing, König got you to your feet and held you up against him until he got you to the hotel. Your feet had marched noisily down the street and you’d loudly commented on the pretty stars in the sky on the way over, but as soon as you’d reached that front door it was like an instinct had flared up inside your body and you were quiet as a mouse. Even drunk, you knew not to bother the old crone that surely waited in the shadows, looking for any excuse to jump out at you.
It wasn’t until you were safely in your room, where König was depositing your flailing body into bed that you finally reneged on your vow of silence. He’d turned to leave, his hand coming down on the door handle and reminding you of a judge's gavel ready to end your time with him. You whined, scrabbling at the sheets so that you could sit up and called out to him.
“König! You can’t go.”
“I think you’ll find that I can,” he’d snorted, tossing you a measured look.
“But, I don’t want you to,” you moaned, patting the bed next to you.
“I thought you were sleepy.”
“I was! Then we w-walked through the cold and it woke me up a bit,” you shrugged, hiccuping through the middle of your sentence.
He sighed and tilted his head, seeming to arrive at a fork in the road. Knowing this was the case, even with your addled mind, you pulled the covers back and patted the spot next to you, doing your best to try an angelic smile. Although, it couldn’t have been half as sweet as you’d wanted it to be with your glazed over eyes and dopey grin.
“I’m not going to do anything with you like this.”
You gasped, clutching at your neck as if there were pearls there to grasp onto.
“I’m shocked that you would incuse me of something like that!”
“Incuse?” he chuckled, letting go of the door handle.
Victory was yours.
“I just want you to come cuddle with me for a minute,” you clarified.
He narrowed his eyes, folding his arms over his broad chest like he could scare the truth out of you. Though you were full of liquid confidence and it didn’t matter what he did, you just wanted to feel him close and have his warm body next to yours. You needed to have him for all the time that you could, grabbing onto every little moment.
“If I come over there I don’t want any funny business,” he warned.
A light could’ve buzzed above your head, the pretend halo that you tried to manifest lighting up the room before him.
“Cross my heart, no funny business,” you simpered.
He laughed at that and finally came over to you, shucking off his boots after you’d grumbled about shoes on the bed. He let you fold over onto him, curling up like a croissant in his arms and settling easily into your nook between his arm and chest.
Even in your clouded mind, the moment was etching itself into your core memory. The smell of hops and cold fresh air, the feel of his big arms wrapped around your body, the softness of his chest and the cotton T-shirt he wore, the feel of his zip scraping your fingers as you carelessly moved your hand to his sternum. It all compounded, had you feeling like you were in a dream, the fuzziness of your head trying to tell you that’s all it was.
“This is real isn’t it?” you asked, furrowing your brows as you put a little pressure on his chest, testing to make sure it really was him.
“Did you take shots while I was in the toilet or something?” he laughed, bouncing your head with the force of it through his body.
“No! It’s that - I just - I can’t believe we’re really here. It’s like you said before - It’s like a dream. And we made it come true.”
He was quiet for a second and tentatively placed his hand on the back of your head, running it over your hair and down your back. The motion completely distracted you from his silence, calming you completely and making you feel as cosy as a lap dog. Suddenly the tiredness was simmering back through your body, melting you like butter.
“I’m happy too,” he finally said, his voice wavering a little. “Happier than I’ve been in a long time.”
“Really?”
“Why do you sound so surprised?” he asked, laughing fondly.
You shrugged with what little movement you could muster, pasted to König’s side, and bit your lip. It’s not like you wanted to lie there in a moment of pity and self deprecate, but you hadn’t had the easiest time of it together at that point. You were surprised that he was able to say that it was one of the happiest times of his life.
“Things have been hard. I guess I’m still just shocked that you’ve made such an effort to be with me. It probably would’ve been easier to pick up some someone back home and live a nice little un- umconplimicated life with them,” you said, struggling to even wrap your mouth around the word.
Your head rattled as König’s chest bounced again, his chuckle echoing out across the room. It had you burying your burning face deeper into him, trying all you could to be able to hide your complete embarrassment. You’d prayed that it wouldn’t make him leave, make him think you were too away with it to continue on with the conversation.
However, by that point König was quite tired too. His inhibitions were lowered and he wasn’t in the mindset to leave you alone. Instead he just rubbed your back reassuringly and sighed out the last remnants of his stolen breaths, before his body regulated and his chest rose steadily and surely again.
“If I’d ever been capable of something like that I’m sure I would’ve tried it a while ago,” he finally said.
You frowned and, now that you were composed, swivelled your head so that you could see his face. Your eyes veered away from their place on his chest and landed straight on him, straining to see the distant look in his eyes. You bit you lip.
“How not capable?” you murmured, still battling with recalling how to speak.
“You remember when you first tried to talk to me surely?” he smirked, absentmindedly stroking your hair.
“I remember…you were all grumpy, didn’t wanna talk,” you smiled, blinking slowly up at him.
“I was just so surprised that you were talking to me, I didn’t have anything to say back. It took me off guard that I didn’t have to put on any kind of a front for you to approach. That’s usually how it goes for other people - no one comes to me unless I start pretending, unless I stop being myself, unless I make myself smaller and superficial. It’s exhausting, and I can’t maintain it for very long.”
“But then you offered to make me tea,” you reminded him, face feeling bright with the memory. “You were nice - next time I saw you.”
“I promised myself that if I saw you in the kitchen again that I would make up for appearing so rude. Then you got flustered and stared at me alot, and acted ridiculously cute and forced me to watch Rocky; so now, because you charmed me, here we are. I’m doomed to do your bidding, doomed to follow you t-”
“Hey!”
You batted his chest and did your best to sit up, clambering up his body, huffing and puffing until you were face level with the summit of him.
“I did not force you!”
“You gave me an order,” he shot back with an eyebrow raise.
“Yeah, well you better be grateful you got that order because otherwise you wouldn't have gotten to see a cinnamonatic masterpiece!”
“Cinnamonatic? Is that how it’s said?”
“Shut up,” you groaned, collapsing back down on him, nuzzling into his collarbone.
He laughed breathily and let you settle back into him, holding you against him like a little bird that might fly away. His arms were wrapped tight around you now, and you cocooned into them, growing more and more comfortable and heavy.
“König?” You asked quietly, breath fanning onto his neck.
You felt him shiver gently, shifting in the bed.
“Yeah?” he sighed.
“I think that most people would really like you if you were actually yourself around them. You don’t have to act around people, y’know?”
He lay there quietly, letting your words hang in the air like deadweight above your head, at first you thought that he might’ve fallen asleep, not really registering you. Though when you turned your head to look up at him, he turned his down, looking over to you soundlessly. Even in the dark, you knew his eyes were filled with a blur of memories and feelings he hadn’t even begun to tell you about yet - the things that had made him who he was.
“One day I’ll get you to tell me why you do it,” you vowed to yourself, whispering faintly into the dark.
“Tell you what?”
König’s hearing was, as ever, sharp as a cat’s. He sounded gruff as he answered, like you were veering into territory he wasn’t going to let you explore yet. Though you were just drunk enough that you weren’t too afraid to push a little further, testing the boundaries.
“All the things that made you afraid to be yourself.”
“Oh gott,” he sighed.
“What?”
“I left Austria and somehow still ended up in bed with Sigmund Freud,” he chuckled.
“Don’t deflect!” you moaned, yawning sleepily.
“Apologies doctor,” he said, putting on a fake serious voice. “Perhaps I can start off by telling you about how difficult it was being moved from Austria to Germany when I was little, and tell you I was ruthlessly teased for my silly accent until I started changing it. Then we can move on to the difficult relationship I had with my stepfather and perhaps finish off with you telling me it all sounds rather like I want to sleep with one of my relatives.”
“You got teased for your accent?” you gasped, emotional and tipsy enough to almost shed a tear at the thought of little König being bullied.
König had a habit of divulging little snippets about his past that he’d laugh about, but lamentably very little of them were ever very funny or good stories. That didn’t stop him though, tittering away as he’d told you about someone chasing him with a knife, or when he’d broken his arm after getting ganged up on in a school yard fight or even when he’d been threatened with being kicked out of the house if he didn’t go get a job - the reason he’d joined the German Army.
“Oh don’t get all upset about it,” he groaned. “It was a very long time ago.”
“But why were people were being so mean to little König,” you protested, so choked with emotion you were speaking about him like a little cartoon protagonist. “I don’t like the thought of people being so mean to you, all your stories from when you were young are so sad!”
“Oh you’re such a bleeding heart, how ever did you make it into the military?” he sighed, petting your head like you were little more than a mewling kitten. “Would it make you feel better if you knew that little König grew up to be bigger and taller than all of those assholes and showed them why they shouldn’t have messed with him? Would that help?”
You sniffed and thought about it for a second, imaging his sharp defined bone structure all soft and round with unshed baby fat and those hard narrowed eyes of his all sleepy and dark. He would’ve made quite the sight when he was younger you thought, the kind of face that needed to age into who he really was. A face that’d picked up scars and blemishes like little medals that appeared in certain lights.
“It helps a little,” you huffed, running your hand up and down his chest, sliding your fingers over a rumple in his shirt.
“What would help more? Would it help if I was cute again, would that make things better?”
“No, don’t you dare!”
“Are you sure, Schmusebär? I think it might make you feel better if I remind you that you’re my sweet perfect little baby-”
“I’m better! I feel better!” You groaned, desperately trying to cover your ears with your hands. “Not again!”
He was giggling mischievously to himself, clearly very impressed with his newfound torture technique, clutching at his chest as you wormed away and hissed at him to stop. He bit his lip and folded his arms behind his head, looking thoroughly pleased even while he stopped laughing. Apparently he was quite the gloat when he was self satisfied, and yet this - as you were to find out - wasn't even the tip of the iceberg.
“What does Schmusebär even mean?” you sighed, screwing your face up as you waited to find out.
“Schmusebär? Hm…it means cuddle bear,” he yawned, sounding like an old hound.
“Aw…that actually is kind of sweet.”
“Oh? I’ll have to make sure I avoid using that then.”
“König!” you whined.
-☠️-
Going back to base after those two days together was hell. You’d hoped that König might end up being sent off somewhere else for a time. You’d practically prayed that KorTac would be needed elsewhere for once and that there was something more important than Ex Nihilo. However as with everything else your luck never struck. You were forced to remain in the same confines as him - trying  not to let your face completely betray everything that you’d gotten up to in your time together.
However, König didn’t seem to have that agenda. Oh no. He wasn’t worried about revealing too much at all.
About a day after you’d gotten back, you’d been training in the gym with Ghost, getting ready to be sent off on your next mission. You’d hardly even seen König at that point and after your first few hours of trying to avoid shitting yourself - thinking that someone somehow would’ve spotted you both together - you’d relaxed into the fact that everything was fine. Nobody knew about your secret rendezvous and no one ever would. Your heart could definitely resume its regular pace instead of the dizzying frenetic dance it’d decided to beat to.
You’d been running on the treadmill, maintaining a steady speed and focusing on the slap of your feet coming down heavily on the rubber - keeping time with your music. You breathed steadily, in and out, and kept your gaze mostly forward - occasionally watching to see what Ghost was doing as he piled on more and more weight to a barbell. It was therapeutic, the perfect way to forget about your little indiscretion and feel good about seeing Price next. You were practically back to normal!
All until you spotted König in the doorway.
His dark eyes peered out at you from over his neck warmer and he had his arms folded just below the logo of his old Rammstein T-shirt. It was the same one he’d worn on the second day of your trip, the same day you’d spent holed up in your hotel room trying to find a way to take said shirt off. That wasn’t even the worst of it. When you’d glanced below the shirt, you’d come close to tripping like a cartoon when you noticed his grey sweats, ever so close to cardiac arrest. Even before he’d done anything, before he’d even properly come into the room, he was fucking you up.
“Need something?” Ghost growled, noisily dropping the weight he’d been lifting to the ground.
“I was going to workout,” König replied, voice sounding sour as it always did with your team.
“Stop standing there staring like a spare prick and come in then.”
Neither man said anything after that. König narrowed his eyes at Ghost, his arms appearing as if they wanted to fly forward and choke the Lieutenant out. However, in a stunning display of restraint, he kept them at his side and walked over to the weights, depositing himself at the opposite side of his enemy. He was keeping Ghost in his eyeline, and regrettably you as well.
Your heart had noticeably started beating faster, though it had been a while since you’d upped the setting on the treadmill. Your feet pistoned hard on the whirring machine and you were starting to feel every step, your chest aching as your breathing pattern was thrown off. You panted hard and slowed the setting way down into a bare minimum walk, grasping for your water bottle like someone crawling through the desert.
With König’s antics you’d forgotten all about the evil red numbers that flashed on the screen in front of you, screaming out that you were falling behind your goal. It didn’t matter. All that mattered was ensuring your feet didn’t trip over each other now that you weren’t looking where you should be while you ran. Your eyes had just about popped out when you caught sight of him laying on the benchpress, you couldn’t seem to turn away, too transfixed by his powerful lifts and heavy breaths.
After a few sets his arms were already beginning to bulge and before you could stop yourself, your mind wandered off to remembering your weekend together. The feel of his ropey arms as they supported your weight and held in you in place, thick and veiny from the effort of all the…activities you’d been getting up to. You shook your head and gulped when you almost felt your right foot falter, just about toppling your entire body like a badly built jenga tower.
“Sneak!”
You whipped your head around at the shout and looked back at Ghost like a deer in front of a combine harvester. He’d caught you looking. You took a beat before you took your airpods from your ears, shakily setting them down onto the tray so that you could hear your Lieutenant clearly.
“Yeah?” you asked weakly.
“Come spot me.”
Ghost had never asked for you to spot for him before. Frankly, the last thing that Ghost needed was for you to spot him. You were confident he could lift five of you in a pinch, however, you knew he wasn’t really asking because it's what he needed. He knew that you needed to keep your eyes off König - especially while Price was likely to be hanging around.
You walked over and loomed over Ghost, nervously making sure to keep your eyes on him as much as possible.  It wasn’t like you could help them wandering a couple times, admiring the way König’s shoulder blades bunched and how his arms swelled out of his T-shirt like they were tearing free. His breath and Ghost’s intermingled, both battling for your attentions, Ghost only winning because you were sure he’d rat to Price if you were being too obvious.
Though, when Ghost finally sat up, that’s when König decided to fight dirtier.
“Pub later?” Ghost asked, his voice disappearing somewhere in the fuzz of your mind.
Your lungs closed off, forgetting how to expel air, holding tight onto the breath you were supposed to let go. A swell of static took over your head and your teeth ached from clenching hard watching König stand up and take his shirt off. His uncovered body betraying the signs of all that you’d done on your second day at the hotel. The distressed and unmistakable scratches that you’d littered on his back, already turning pink as they’d begun to messily heal.
“Sneak?”
You weren’t listening to Ghost anymore, you were too busy fuming about König being so obvious. How could reveal his back like that in front of Ghost, what the fuck was he trying to prove? Your fists balled up with anger and you narrowed your eyes at him, trying to hold onto what you felt so that you wouldn’t fall to the embarrassment of knowing that your superior could see your handiwork on König’s back.
“Fuck sake! C’mon.”
Ghost took you away, coming up behind you and shoving your back, manhandling you into the corridor. This was too familiar, you’d thought to yourself. It was just like the mission, you were going to get in trouble again, and this time it was all over - no more warnings. Everything that you’d thought was supposed to be ahead of you flashed before your eyes and you tried not to let the tears that were gathering break loose from the dam.
Your focus trained back on ghost and your nostrils flared faster than they had while you were running. You sputtered for a second, figuring out what to say. Though, you didn’t know what to say, had no idea how to explain yourself.
“Are you alright?” Ghost asked softly.
You frowned, feeling as if you were suffering from a head wound. He looked down at you with soft cow eyes and touched your shoulder gently. What the hell was happening?
“Alright? I- I’m ok,” you breathed, voice lilting as if you were asking a question.
“That was fucking classless that,” Ghost sighed.
“Classless?” you repeated, heart stopping as you wondered what he was talking about.
“Yeah. Taking his fuckin’ kit off and showing you he’s been fucking someone else is a low blow, Sneak. You don’t have to pretend you don’t care with me. I won’t tell anyone, not about something like that.”
Oh. My. Fucking. God.
You paused for a minute, mind catching up with what Ghost just said. He thought that König was trying to make some kind of point, to show you that he was over you. A garbled laugh tried to crawl free from your throat, but you choked it down and looked away, trying to think about anything other than the colossal misunderstanding that was taking place.
“Yeah, I um- I… I’ll be fine, Ghost… but um- maybe I could use a minute, y’know? I’m gonna go for a shower and sort myself out and I’ll uh- I’ll see you at the pub later, right?”
He still looked concerned, but his brows lifted a little. After another reassuring pat on the shoulder he sent you on your way and walked off, leaving you stumbling back to your room like a rambling tumbleweed. You were in complete disbelief at what just happened.
Not only did you get away with your forbidden weekend away together. Now all the guys were going to think König was fucking someone else. The perfect cover.
You screamed with laughter into your pillow once you got back, completely disbelieving that somehow things were working out for once. Luckily for you, luckily for König especially. It was that thought that sobered up and had you narrowing your eyes at the wall in front of you.
König was in big trouble.

Traditionalists
For Day 24 of @jilytoberfest 🎶Then I know everything is gonna be fine, Because you are mine🎶 -You Shine from Carrie - The Musical
“And what room is this?” James' face goes dreamy, tilting his head against the wood of the frame. “The baby’s room I reckon.” Lily turns fast on her heels. “Baby? Whose baby?” James blinks. “Ours.” He straightens up, getting a glint in his eye. “Oh wait, sorry—you want traditional order of events: engagement then marriage then house then baby. Did I get that correct?”

“SURPRISE!”
He uncovers her eyes. Lily stares at a small gated walkway that leads up to a modest looking cottage. A small billow of smoke wafts from the thatched chimney.
“I don’t get it.”
“It’s ours.” His smile is infectious, every part of his face alight with glee.
Lily looks back at the house. The garden out front looks recently tilled, little sprouts of infant seedlings popping out from the wet earth.
“You bought us a house?” Her mouth is set in an o formation, eyes darting to each window and wooden beam.
“Well not bought—mum and dad said we could have it if we were willing to fix it up a bit. It’s been in the family for ages as you can probably tell by the ‘Beedle and the Bard’ feel of it.”
He isn’t wrong to call it a place out of a fairytale. Even down to the front porch, there is a hint of domestication and whimsy that her cement brick of a family home back in Cokeworth could never achieve.
“James, it's lovely but— we aren’t even engaged.”
She rips her eyes away from the building, turning to watch his brow furrow before something clicks in his brain and his lips curl into an impish smile.
“Didn’t peg you for such a traditionalist, Evans. Would it make you feel better if I got on one knee right now?”
Lily sputters, cheeks burning. He has been doing this more and more lately, suggesting the idea of marriage. Eventually she had to tell him to stop after the fourth or fifth time he would crouch down on one knee in front of her and linger here just long enough to make her heart soar before straightening back up with the excuse of an itchy ankle or dropping a quill.
“That’s not what I’m saying. It's just—we just graduated and you have only just met mum and dad—I hardly think that they would accept me bunking with my boyfriend so soon.”
“‘Bunking’ is it?” He quips, “Sure hope then they don’t find out how much ‘bunking’ we did back at school.”
She gives him a pointed glare and he concedes, reaching out to give her chin a little squeeze.
“At least come see it first before you completely shoot it down—I did a lot of work already but it needs a feminine touch before it will be perfect.”
He takes her hand and swings open the gate to lead her down the walk. Closer to the garden beds, she can see little wooden signs popping out from the dirt. In James’ unmistakable scrawl are written the words: Lavender, Rosemary, Vervain, Wolfsbane.
“So this is the garden—mum said it’s good luck to plant the first two but otherwise I figured you’d want a healthy supply of potions ingredients.”
He doesn’t let her linger, pulling her up onto the porch and pulling back the heavy set door. Inside, the main room is full of light from the large windows. Bookshelves are already lined with a mixture of muggle and wizarding titles—many of which look like duplicates of the ones she keeps at home. Between books are slanted photographs of times gone by: her and him mid embrace after his Quidditch Cup win; Lily and Remus sitting in the forest near the Potter Mansion, rat crawling on her head as a stag nuzzles at her neck, a dog’s tongue slides up the side of the camera; a muggle photo she took of Sirius and James in Paris, both in mid guffaw as they are flanked by cancan dancers.
Her eyes scan away to a glinting object in the corner. A brand new TV set sits on its stand with a betamax player at its feet. A copy of Harold and Maude sits atop.
“I always wanted a TV,” James chirps, noticing her staring at the muggle invention.
“Is that right? You planning on becoming one of those blokes who would ignore their naked wife just to watch a match?”
James looks aghast. “Merlin no Lils! I’ll just shag you from behind so we both can watch–”
She pretends to scoff in disgust and he grabs her around the belly, calloused fingers wiggling until she is in tears from laughing.
“Honestly, I don’t know what I even expected,” she says, now with a cramp in her stomach.
“Might I remind you that you brought up the ‘naked wife’ bit–” He puts emphasis on the last word, squeezing her hand tighter.
“You’re Impossible,” she mutters, taking his hand to yank him into what looks like the hallway.
He has decorated the hall with posters and art that mirror their shared Heads’ office back at school: a various smattering of film titles mixed with art pieces. He takes the lead, opening the doors one by one and letting her peer in. The rooms are less put together than the main living space, but the idea is there: a guest room (“In case Remus needs a place—the laws around Werewolves have been strangling these past couple years”), a room with a work desk and various bits and bobs (“a shared laboratory if you will—”), and a master bedroom.
At the very end of the hall, the final room opens up to a small but bright space that is completely bare save for a coat of pastel red on the walls. Lily walks in and turns around, cocking a brow at her boyfriend who leans in the doorframe.
“And what room is this?”
James' face goes dreamy, tilting his head against the wood of the frame.
“The baby’s room I reckon.”
Lily turns fast on her heels.
“Baby? Whose baby?”
James blinks. “Ours.” He straightens up, getting a glint in his eye.
“Oh wait, sorry—you want traditional order of events: engagement then marriage then house then baby. Did I get that correct?”
Lily turns back to the room. The sunlight pours onto the floor casting little phantoms of the leaves.
“James—it's lovely. It really is…but what about—” her voice fractures. The house is everything she ever dreamed of—a real life with him, built and filled with the express intention of happiness. She’s only just learned of it and it’s already hard to let go.
“We’ve committed to the Order. Will be at war and Merlin knows we might have to go into hiding if things go south. It’s a beautiful thought but we just can’t afford to dream like—”
“Rubbish.” He cuts her off, stuffing his hands into his pockets. “That’s what he wants us to do. We can’t just stop living because there’s a war out there.”
“Nothing is a sure thing anymore, James.”
James takes a step forward. Eyes bright and pleading.
“We are a sure thing. And all of this,” he gestures around the room, “Can be too. We can’t let them take it away from us.”
She feels the tears rimming her eyes. She can picture it so well: James tinkering on a new invention in the side room, Remus and Sirius dropping by, touting a case of beer and wild stories that they will tell in great hyperbolic zeal, a baby—a beautiful little child whose hands are smaller than a snitch, gargling with peals of laughter as James lifts him up, up into the air and spins.
“Ok—yeah, alright.” She wipes her nose, giving a small hesitant chuckle to dispel the reservations that still harbor at the shores of her vision. “Let’s do it.”
James crosses the small distance between them, picking her up and spinning her until she lets out a laugh that feels oddly reminiscent of their imaginary child. He sets her down and pushes her into him, his hot breath on her head like a warming aura.
“I love you,” she murmurs into him. “Let’s be a family.”
He kisses her head, his smile infecting her from the head down. “Woah, Evans. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves,” he says in mock reserve, “I mean, we aren’t even engaged yet.”
