genuinely curious, what term would you rather take place of the q word? (Other than LGBT and all its variations)
LGBT. LGBT+. LGBT Community. There's nothing wrong with just remaining lgbt+, it already covers everything
#trans has always included nonbinary and others genders#int*rsex people have requested multiple times that they not be lumped in with lgbt because#their relation to being intersex is something seperate from being trans or lgb yaknow? like there can be cishet intersex people#and if your conversation is reffering to/including ace and aro community you can add an a. although#im pretty sure theres already a seperate term for that combined community? I know it but i just cant remember it at this moment#if you want to refer to your own gender or sexuality as the q slur of course your entitled to do that#like i said in the last post its all about having power over your own identity. its more of a matter of. referring to everyone else yaknow
