New Work from Cody Pickens

Cody Pickens is producing a lot of new work lately, and we were excited to see another series around California producers and agriculture. Most recently, Cody captured a working walnut farm, and these arresting images of the farm in action are just the start. Stay tuned for more from this eye-catching project and plenty of beautiful new work from Cody.

Plant Material

Mimicking wild, yet meticulously manicured, desert landscapes, photographer Stephanie Gonot picked a talented team with Redeye’s own Kayt Fitzmorris and prop stylist Samantha Margherita to craft her Plant Material series. Using non-invasive and native flora, the team created ikebana-like sculptures foraged from Southern California with additional greens from the LA-based shop that shares the project’s name — Plant Material.

Zappos’ Kids Halloween

Spooky, and oh so sweet, we’re loving the collaborative efforts of Redeye duo, photographer Meiko Arquillos and set designer Todd Davis, for Zappos’ Halloween campaign. This is the second time they’ve worked together this year for the online shoe and clothing retailer, and the hair-raising images and gifs are some of our favorites.

Wardrobe Stylist Jessie Jamz Joins Redeye's Roster!

Here's something new from Redeye! We have just taken on our first wardrobe stylist, Jessie Jamz. Jessie is based in Los Angeles, CA but travels often for work. Some of her ongoing clients include Puma, adidas, and Beats by Dre. Her style is recognizable by her graphic approach and use of color.

We would be remiss if we did not say how glowing the praise has been for Jessie since day one. She is creative, highly competent, and extraordinarily collaborative. She has worked with several artists on and off our roster, and they are all converts for life. We can't wait for you all to have the same experience! John Keatley + UNIFORM in Los Angeles

We’re thrilled to join Redeye photographer, John Keatley, this Friday, October 4th in Los Angeles for an exciting exhibition and book signing for his recently released book UNIFORM. We couldn’t be more excited to announce the addition of the extremely talented Jared Soares to Redeye’s roster. Anyone who has known Jared or his work is aware of his thoughtfulness, smarts, sensitivity, and talent for connecting with his subjects and the world around him. Jared is based in Washington, D.C. but works all over the country. Recent clients include adidas, The New York Times, Monocle, and Airbnb. Keep your eyes peeled, Seattle, because some eye-catching portraits of the Seattle Sounders football club by John Keatley are live around town. Their For the Greater Green campaign includes stills and gifs of the team’s players and this epic billboard of Sounders player, Raül Ruidíaz.

In a Manner of Speaking — Gabriella Sanchez Solo Show

In a Manner of Speaking, a solo exhibition by Redeye multi-disciplinary artist Gabriella Sanchez, is opening Saturday, June 15th at the Charlie James Gallery between 6-9pm. Showing eight new paintings that incorporate her strong visual style and many mediums — including photo collage of family portraits — In a Manner of Speaking continues Gabriella’s attention to the space between her Mexican and American roots via form and language. 

The show will be on display through July 20th, 2019 at the Charlie James Gallery located at 969 Chung King Road, Los Angeles, CA.

An unconventional spin on the all-American road trip, photographer Delaney Allen took to the roads of Southern California to create a series of images for his book Red Orange. Just when you thought you had seen every expected image of the iconic region, here's a whole book from Delaney's singular point of view. You can't help but respect this artist's vision.
