thinking about that scene in the pilot. bc the series is set up so you can take parts of the pilot as canon. where charlie says lucifer was right about her. and it’s been haunting me. honestly i think with the emphasis in s1 on her having daddy issues that it’s still canon and? i’m not against it. as much as this is a family that loves each other, it’s also a family built on a serious trauma. those things don’t cancel each other out, and we know charlie and lucifer have not been good at communication since the divorce. so i don’t think he said anything awful, but i do think its the same thing we see in ep 5. he wants to protect her from heaven, but what charlie hears is he doesn’t have faith in her.
