#coincidence wilde#curse of strahd#dnd#dungeons and dragons#dnd character#OKAY SO#coincidence grew up in an orphanage run by nuns of ilmater#and while they were there they were friends with this little half orc girl named janna#she was very frail and coincidence watched out for her like a little sister#one day when they were working the industrial looms janna nodded off and slipped into the machine#coincidence dove to try and pull her out and in the panic and sudden pain of their horn getting caught in the machine#their latent wildmagic awakened and they cast thunderwave instinctually which broke teh machine before they could get hurt further#however#it was too late for little janna and they lost their only friend#they were adopted afterwards by a wigmaker that used to cut the hair of the kids at the orphanage#frederic winthrope#who had taken a liking to coincidence due to their beautiful oil slick rainbow hair#but the adoption didn't last as frederic soon revealed he only wanted them to use their hair and became sour#when coincidence didnt do as he wished and he started to be obsessively controllign to the point of abuse#they ran away and after a brief period of homelessness returned to the orphanage having nowhere else to go#and remained there until they aged out of it beign distrustful of anyone else that showed interest in adopting them
