id imagine steph probably knew about the weres and supernatural world through her father growing up (maybe arthur sought out the bite to make himself more powerful) and so she became a huntress to stop him (spoiler) but then got bitten in the process.

god thinking about cass teaching steph how to use her new skills and senses,,,sparring lesbian style,,helping her through sensory overload…so much to consider

I just finished Ouran Highschool host club and man I am bawling my eyes abit and dam I just want to just talk about it (spoilers for the 20+ years show)

I love alll the main squad they are all sooooo amazing, they all have their funny quirks and personalities and they are all cute the damn time

I want to talk about my Favorite out the club and that is the main guy, the one who bought his dad company and thrown back harder than ever, KO Kyoya Ootori. He is just the guy to me he exudes this confidence that I aim to have and this drive to be the best out of spite of his shit ass father. From the start he soo evil and petty and money hungry and I already like them FICTIONAL manipulator and love the trope of these manipulators actually like being good but has to look evil just for the theatrics. He has the only backstory that made me weep a bit just because how his problems to me seem realistic with parental pressure and stuff and the ways he felt with it amazing.

Now probably me second and third favorite keep on battling each other in my mind on which is second and that is our Crossdressing Trans ally drag king Haruhi Fujioka and the over the top, baby girl and girl failure coded Tamaki Suoh. These two are such engaging characters that I love them both and each time I see them are just such hilarity, having the straight and funny man bit ( this also extends to KO) but the way how this rich money man is just the most sweet glue of a dude is just so comforting and then haruhi peasant poor girl being the most realistic and kind just make both a real good protagonist and helps put a self into her mind for most of us poor dudes.

AND I LOVE THAT LAST EPISODE WHEN THEY FALL OFf THE BRIDGE TOGETHER IT WAS SOME SUCH A GREAT MOMENT THAT DID NOT FORCE ANY KISSES AND STILL SHOW THAT THEY DO CARE SHOW THAT THEY CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER without kissing.

Now the mischievous tall goobers the Twins themselves self Kaoru Hitachiin and Hikaru Hitachiin, at first I was off put by the incestive suggestion but from how the story goes on I can now understand that it just a over exaggerated bit but they still do care for each other and they are just both are fun characters to annoy the rest, each of the episodes they have really draws a great difference in characters and love how they interact with the world

( also I can still not tell them apart but they’ve different personalities)

Now the mountain of man Mori(Takashi Morinozuka) he just a really cool tall dude who just very sweet and socially awkward as teens I know are and there is nothing much to talk about but he reminds of ferb( Phineas and Ferb) and that just makes him cooler.

Now for the final dude the tiny yet the strongest out of the group the humanoid typhoon wrong moniker I meant the human super weapon Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka. He has such a funny bit and just a wholesome little guy. And that episode with his brother calling him an alien is just had me dying of laughter from the strangeness of this little dude.

Overall this is gonna be on my top favorite anime’s for slice of life for just how much fun the characters are. They embrace the concept they are and feel like they are being the extra people they are for cash money. And how seriousness of that last couple episodes was sooo good, and still have such great comedy tooo. I just this series soooo much

REASONS WHY HEIMDALL FROM MATANTEI LOKI IS MY FAVE HEIMDALL !!!! ↓↓↓ (major spoiler free, with minor spoilers)

there is a bit of me complaining tbh, so this is really just me explaining why heimdall maloki gives me food for thought instead of why his character is actually good LMAO

-> It explores his relationship to Loki

i feel like their relationship is one seriously under utilized in a lot of norse mythology media. HOWEVER, matantei loki makes their relationship one of the driving conflicts of the show and first installment !

Their relationship in maloki is really interesting, with the way Loki seems to guiltily feel the need to care about Heimdall despite his resentment and Heimdall relentlessly hunting Loki for what he'd done to him.

Loki and Heimdall's relationships to their respective companions (mayura, freyr) and odin alongside their personal issues with being on midgard also parallel eachother in an interesting way.

unfortunately this conflict is never given any sort of ending or conclusion in the manga--and i don't mean that in a "they never make up" way i mean it just actually never really develops despite three installments and what developments there are gets immediately forgotten about. sad! what is there is fun to think abt though

it is also a little open ended in the anime but i think the anime ending is more acceptable and generally i like how they resolved heimdalls internal conflicts too.

-> It explores what Heimdall could be like without his duty as watchman

He isn't the watchman here, with a new duty: hunting down Loki. It's interesting how it shows how he feels almost purposeless without his job, which is partly why he becomes so obsessed with loki and idea of killing him. in the manga he states how his life has all just been shit ever since he lost his job.

his ex job as watchman also makes him incredibly reliant on odin for validation and approval. despite his outward arrogance and confidence it is a bit of a coverup to hide his own self esteem issues since he tied all of that with his job. its a bit like watching a fish out of water.

his short temper and loki's plot armor does not help.

mildly unrelated but the anime attributes a lot of titles to him though that make no sense ? like god of strategy and god of dawn idk why. they also take freyja's falcon association and give it to him for some reason. i don't mind it too much i guess it's cool. i can write a whole other post about how much i hate maloki!freyja though they did her SOOOOO dirty she deserved a better character.

-> he's the straight laced one in an odd couple duo. also his relationship to freyr is just interesting

this is just personal preference because i love odd couples and i always gravitate towards the uptight ones in those duos. him and freyr are great and his relationship to freyr is also like the only healthy one he has.

i do find their manga dynamic fun to think abt though, mostly because despite considering each other friends or at least allies they never see each other as equals and constantly try to put themselves higher than the other.

freyr also gives like almost no fucks about loki outside of the context of freyja and heimdall gives every fuck about loki. they also deal with their issues in very opposite ways, with freyr being one to ignore his problems and heimdall forcing himself to relive his most traumatic event every day.

-> the concept is just funny

can u imagine heimdallr the norse god comes to earth. and he's like a middle schooler for no reason. and also incredibly homocidal and keeps writing his school projects about this other random schoolboy he hates so so much. and he's alt. his roommate is a wanted criminal. that's just so funny to me.

CONCLUSION

there's other things that make him interesting to me like his potential in episode 7's plot line but that is a lot on the potential side than what i have here. honestly his character is wayyyyy better within the context of norse mythology too outside of that he's kind of meh. being so real. i wish they took more from the mythology when writing his character.

i'd still probably have him as my fave maloki char even without my norse myth knowledge though because he checks every box in my favorite character checklist anyhow, the norse myth is just a bonus!

there's a lot of potential he has that is lost to bad writing so this is sort of like my idealized version of him. the anime is so so much better handling his character imo even if it dropped the ball so hard on ep 7. i don't know how i feel abt manga!heim he gets really flanderized at the end. anyway. that's it that's the post.

its....kind of a long story. see I was caught up in the voltron hype a few years ago, and was obsessed with it from day one. I feel fairly confident in saying that it was my first fandom-related hyperfixation that lasted for quite a long period of time. I had mutuals and friends, and wrote fic and generally just participated in fandom and had a BLAST despite the source material being. less than stellar. but well the voltron fandom is notorious for being absolutely batshit (derogatory) and eventually the negativity from the fandom kind of drove me out (it was also just bitterness and anger on my part from the way the show ended because man.) but regardless the voltron hyperfixation went dormant for a really long time as I moved onto other things. but the concept kinda stayed with me (because let's be real its an AWESOME concept with sooo much cool worldbuilding potential that was never tapped into) and I played with the idea of an all-oc cast with my own story as the years went by, but never really went farther than daydreaming and making picrews lmao. but in the last few months the voltron hyperfixation has been flaring up as I've started rereading some of my fav fics and remembering why I liked this show in the first place, negativity and disappointment aside. and voltron is the perfect combination of worldbuilding potential, fascinating characters, and stupid fucking ass writing decisions that fuel me with enough spite to just write my own version. I've played with the idea of a voltron rewrite for a long time as I've thought about the characters more and what I would have done with them and the worldbuilding if I were in charge, but I didn't really actually start thinking about it seriously until I started rewatching the first season and remembered all the REALLY cool stuff it had. so long story short, now that most of the negative people have left the fandom, and now that I've had time to be in a better mindset abt the show, I'm doing this rewrite both because I'm frustrated by the dumb directions the source material went, and because I genuinely love the source material. at least, the core of it. AND as a bonus I'm genuinely having sooo much fun thinking about and planning the rewrite !!!! every single character got absolutely butchered after s2 and I want sooo badly to do them justice, because I love them all so much and they're all really close to my heart and I'm literally just having the time of my life out here <3 I don't even really mind that the fandom is practically dead nowadays and so my rewrite probably won't get that much attention because 1) I have soo many friends and bestiemutuals enabling me and cheering me on 2) I'm GENUINELY having so much fun. like it's been sooooo long since I've been this motivated and inspired and excited for a writing project and it's an amazing feeling to have

armageddon - aespa thoughts 🫶

initial: i’ve been waiting for this for almost two years. there have been so many delays and set backs, and even when it was initially announced, i didn’t believe it would actually happen bc i was so ready to be let down again. it’s my most anticipated album of all time. aespa’s discography is so superior (savage + MY WORLD being some of the greatest kpop minis ever imo) and i have such high hopes for æ1. all of the pre-release promotions have been so stellar and both TTs are beyond top tier. they’re probably the strongest aespa has ever released, so i have sm faith this album is going to be phenomenal. MY have been waiting so long for aespa to drop aoty i really can’t believe it’s finally here and we get to keep it forever 🤍

supernova: i loved this from first listen. i absolutely adore high energy weird aespa. to me this has felt like a combination of spicy + illusion in a way that pushes them further and develops their sound even more as a group. solid contender for my favorite aespa TT (tied with wtmw)

armageddon: aespa has always gone off with ad libs but this is another level. i loooove the world play between "armageddon" and "imma get it." easily their most ambitious TT and (imo) unquestionably the strongest song they've ever released. aespa has never been more locked into their song + concept then they are rn which is exactly what i dreamed of this being. we knew it would be amazing bc of how much they hyped it up, but to have it still be even more.. will be crying over this song for a long time 🤍

set the tone: FANTASTIC transition from supernova + armageddon. definitely see this being a favorite for a lot of ppl. sister of salty & sweet and lingo. the pre-chorus giving us everything and providing the perfect contrast to keep the song from being monotonous. i love how the bass line pushes the song forward

mine: dark + heavy suit aespa sm. the metallic sound in the background... savage influence shining through. both the raps + vocals in this sound soo great. this song screams aespa sooo much. definitely one of their great bsides ever... and i think it'll remain in the rankings for the rest of their career 💖

licorice: another song we've heard!! track vid was sooooo fun. i 🤍 quirky aespa + licorice + mint choco so what's not to love here ^^ this feels like car ride music or songs for getting ready in the morning. not exactly in a chill way but in a "getting ready to face something." i loooove the guitar in the background. im always a huge fan of guitar highlights and it just gives the song the final flair it needs to be solidly great and interesting

cannot overlook the importance of these two tracks for the album. as stand alone tracks they are both so fun and upbeat. within the context of the album, they are THE transition between the two halves of the album and they make it a seamless and beautiful experience when you’re listening through the full albums. mvps of the album fr it could not be the same experience without them performing so stunningly these sisters deserve all the flowers 🤍🤍🤍

bahama: the way i have anticipated youuuuuuuu. their soft and sweet vocals 🤍🤍🤍🤍 i would love if we someday get a mini full of songs like this + better things + yeppi yeppi. it's just so pretty but still peppy and fun. this perfectly encapsulates that side of aespa. for the last three years, i think SM has been trying to create this exact bside on each mini, and they've finally nailed it and jesus they really blew it out of the water 😭🌴

long chat (#♥️): the cuuuutest track video. sm really gave us the perfect styling for every concept we could have hoped for this time ^^ thirsty + bahama sister song 👯‍♀️ idk what TMT means but i trust ning when she says it's what they are <3 there's just something so fun and endearing seeing them do these concepts. it's so different then how they debuted but it's something that's been with them since predebut + they showed this side within months of debuting with forever. you can tell it's v precious and dear to them and something they love and that suits them so well 🤍

prologue: the ooo ooo ooo's.. im already so in love. karina's singing voice 🤍🤍🤍 winter singing "im a weirdoooo" ilysm. i'm gonna look up lyrics bc this sounds so intimate and heartfelt... ohhh ning bridge. their vocals have shone so many times before but they have never sounded better than this.

ohh the lyrics are even more than i imagined. easily the most precious song in their discography to date.. and another song they've been working toward their entire career. it's so heart achingly intimate and sad and scared and hopeful... i can't say ive ever loved aespa more than I do in this moment 🤍 it makes me feel that the girls had a lot of input and involvement in the album and that their desires and interests were really taken into consideration and upheld which makes me so glad. ik i keep saying it but i feels sm like this is the exact album that the girls wanted it to be and every song only furthers that conviction

live my life: back to yt bc i never got around to this track vid bc of work </3 they are sooo precious. aespa getting their soft rock moment 😭😭😭😭 cannot explain how much this sound + aesthetic align with my taste perfectly 🤍 // take two for lyrics: they're really having their coming of age movie moment <3333 the lyrical callbacks to life's too short and visual callbacks to wtmw... i'm struggling to explain how much i love this project and just how perfect i think it is.. all i can say is that every single thing they've done so far makes so much sense and was the perfect decision over and over and over // take three for album version: the added bridge (?) with vocal moments... exactly what the song needed to feel complete

melody: we made it... final track of æ1. we're so lucky to have made it this far and it still feels unreal that we have the full album now. the entire album has been nothing short of stellar so im excited to see how they close it out. the girlies (and SM) usually go for a ballad to finish things out so we'll see how it hits <3

this is soo typical aespa album closer but even more twinkly and full than usual 💫✨💫 sonically it reminds me a lot of "til we meet again." sister of forever + 'til we meet again + "cause youre MY whole world" they are sooo cute. i think the song is even sweeter knowing that they debuted during covid, waited so long to meet fans, became so much stronger and more dynamic as performers after finally performing to their fans live, qnd they're releasing this off of their first concert experience. it's the sweetest and most expected way they could have finished this amazing experience of æ1 🫶

i love how much rina's and giselle's vocals get to shine throughout the album. their rapping is great and always enjoyable, but their voices hit differently especially when utilized well. further solidifying aespa as one the best vocal groups of fourth gen <3

ning + winter get to play off each other so often i looove the difference in their vocal colors and line delivery

i love the contrasting visual / aesthetic / concepts showcased throughout the album and the way they all still feel like aespa

overall:

the tracklisting is genius. in some ways, it’s like two totally different albums pushed together. the first half versus the second half are so different sonically, but it works perfectly. aespa’s discography has always been so diverse, and the members have always been vocal about their varying interests and desires to explore different genres and concepts. putting together everything that they’ve released before into a cohesive project, where every song has a connection to a previous release, while still making each new song fresh and elevated and better than anything they’ve given us before, is such an incredible feat. this is something they should be so so proud of bc it’s genuinely phenomenal.

the first half playing up their futuristic concept and emphasizing their strength and confidence while the second half becomes soft and vulnerable gives them the ability to express their full range. nothing feels boring or overused, and it all feels natural to them. each section accomplishes its sound so expertly they are incredible songs truly

standout songs rn: mine; BAHAMA; prologue (but realistically… they are truly all so amazing and hit different moods)

second half of the album (bahama onward) hit more for me bc that’s my personal taste in music (also why MY WORLD has been my favorite release from them) and will likely get the most play, but godddd does the first half hit <333 when i need that energy it’s gonna be so good

i’m really excited to add their songs into playlists and put together different vibes solely from their discography… still reeling from the reality of TEN new aespa songs <33333 and more to come later in the year if the jp release holds true <3

genuinely. truly. earnestly. honestly. happily. with the greatest relief and satisfaction, i can report that this album is everything i have asked for and so much more. my heart is exploding for them 🤍

ohh my gosh so I just saw your American Psycho rb which reminded me that I actually finished the book on Monday and I wanted to tell you about it.

It took me a whopping 2 years to read that book. This was mainly because I got soo annoyed whenever Bateman would ALMOST ALWAYS list the brands of every item of clothing that each character was wearing when they entered any scene. Also the gore and violence (mostly brutally specific descriptions of how he killed and dismembered women) really got to me sometimes.

But otherwise what I found most interesting about the novel is how I think that we're not supposed to view Bateman as a character but rather as a concept. Bateman represents the physical 'ideals' of masculinity in the 80s (and perhaps, to some, today as well), but he was also a shining symbol of how those ideals can be corrupted and/or are only surface level.

I often had to view Bateman as a concept when the book got esp. rough. But it was fun (and painful ahaha) to view him as a character, so I also did that throughout most of the book.

You would think that, since he originated from such an interesting concept, Bateman would be an engaging character, right? Nope. This man is nothing outside of his popularity persona and hidden serial killer identity. The only thing that makes Bateman slightly interesting is how this utterly pathetic, unlikable, homophobic (not in the sense where he hates gay people. he's literally terrified of them and it's hilarious) and misogynistic wet sock of a man makes his way around his ridiculous life of doing nothing at his fancy CEO job, booking for fancy restaurants and brutally murdering mostly innocent victims he feels mildly insulted by. Oh, and most importantly, returning his fucking videotapes. I've had it with this man's videotapes, I swear.

So, well... it was an interesting but dreadful book. And the ending was kind of disappointing. But at least he was fucking broken by the end of it. I think that's what truly mattered. Ha.

Anyways this is really long, sorry. Feel free to just read this if you want. However I would love to know if you have also read the book or watched the movie (which I guess I have to watch now that I've finished the book). Have a great night/day Ona :)

Second of all, relish the fact that Bateman would be seething and grinding his teeth at the fact that his “legacies” are being eyerolled at by Tumblrinas like high school girls in the hallway going “ugh🙄 here goes that dumb bitch again, thinking he’s sooooo special🙄��”. Not much better than his colleagues, who outright mishear or ignore him admitting to homicide—yknow, that moment of hollow and bitter self-recognition, when the people around him are portrayed as too vapid and self-absorbed to care about his confessions (most fascinating part about American Psycho if you ask me)*

Third, the only thing worthwhile i can say in regards to Bateman’s stupid gig is its final outcome and how it made me relearn something crucial in a new light: people around me are much too caught up in their own struggles and lives to actually catch onto any self-perceived flaw of mine. Hence, we should lighten up on how others may judge or measure our success (or lack thereof), all struggling to stand out.

.......that’s a very weird take on that, isn’t it? My brain makes very weird connections and i try to be positive overall, so it heavily affects how i perceive the environment around me and what ultimatum i take away from it.

Last of all, i have NEVER in my life watched the movie or read the book. Haha gotcha [no really. All my information regarding this movie is via gifs and secondhand ranting. Youre right everything about this franchise and how it treats women makes me verryyyyy uncomfortable and I wouldn’t wanna put myself through that and Patrick’s annoying ass LMAO thank god the bastard got his due in the end. but i still wanted to respond to your ask :-) ]

First off, your newest Kuroo story WRECKED ME. OMMMMMG LIKE IT'S SOOO FUCKING GOOD. You are one of the most incredible writers ever, like professional style writing. These should be books and you should get paid for it, honestly. Your skill is totally unmatched, my friend. I just adore everything you write. I had two questions thou about the story, just because I am totally obsessed by it- so has Kuroo been obsessed with her since he saw her, I'm like curious how his obsession started 

like is it because she's young and he's interested? Cuz I totally got the vibes at the party that he was showing her off like she was his girlfriend and he seems like he has been wanting her for awhile. I was just curious about how it started cuz god I'm a simp for yandere kuroo- boss man Kuroo would make me weakkkkk. My second question is so is he like obsessively in love with her or is it like just a this hot piece of ass is mine to fuck kinda thing? Like does he want a relationship?

so, like with all my fics i kind of have a ‘read into it how you want’ thing going for it. whether or not kuroo actually has ‘romantic’ (i use that word loosely) feelings for the reader or whether he just enjoys fucking her because he’s in a position of power and she’s easily manipulated is left a little up to your interpretation and how you’d prefer to imagine it. however, having said that there are little hints throughout the fic that imply that there’s a little more depth to kuroo’s feelings. you’re not wrong with the whole ‘showing her off’ vibe at the party, and there’s mentions of confessions that kuroo gives while he’s fucking the reader - also the title of the fic, invidia, means envy in latin. so take that how you will 🤷‍♀️

and as far as how it all began, i like to think that it was kind of a slow build. again it’s implied that kuroo has met the reader (however briefly) a few times before - at games as nekoma’s manager, when she initially was introduced as his girlfriend and she has stayed over at their place in the past. it wasn’t so much a singular moment, but kuroo’s definitely been paying more attention to her than she realises.

Honestly again, it’s kind of left up to what you like to think would happen, but personally I think that the reader stays, because there’s no easy way to get out of that situation without raising suspicion - which means that she then has to spend the next week trying unwittingly playing cat and mouse with Kuroo who’s gonna use every damn opportunity he has to push your boundaries 👀

'shine together' by SF9. y'all the nostalgia for some reason, rings so strong in this track. as soon as i listened i was like, oh my goodness it takes me back to easier times. i just love their vocals and the progression of the song.

nct 2020. y’all. this comeback was NO JOKE. it was brilliantly executed. i loved every moment. i loved the album. the various types of genres they tackled. BRILLIANTLY. i am excited to get the pt.2 soon in the mail. this has it’s own review because there were too many feelings to be had. and when they release the final video i’ll have an updated one with the new tracks. --and updated ‘make a wish’ is a bop, and it owns the replay button.

ost tracks from 'record of youth', ‘do do sol sol la la sol’ and 'more than friends'. i must say ost tracks tend to rule my life, especially when i find a gem in a beloved drama. some of these include: ‘go’ by seungkwan, ‘what if’ by kim jae-hwan, ‘so hard for me’ by jeebanoff, ‘falling in love’ by april, ‘late regret’ by ong seong wu, ‘serendipity’ by ha sung-woon, and ‘highlight’ by ra.L

'energetic' by wannaone. this one always manages to come back and DOMINATE my playlists.

'love killa' by monstax. seriously, can they not. their concepts and songs always go so hard. i love it and this is no exception.

'breath' by got7. this ONE. THIS FREAKING SONG. is soooooo good. 10 out of 10 would recommend. it's great, the mv is great, the vocals, the choreo. i love this comeback.

minisode1 by TXT. my children are talented precious beans, and this ep was beautiful. i love these tracks, the vibes of each song are incredible. and they are seriously the most previous children in the mv for ‘blue hour’. seriously every comeback they slay. 

'i can't stop me' by twice. okay i must say that i can not make an opinion on a twice song because it never gets me in the first listen. however, it always manages to creep up and own the replay button. it’s a bop and i love it! 

'your light' by TXT. this is an ost track from ‘live on’, a currently airing drama. and as soon as i heard this track i added it to my playlist. it’s great. 

dramas & movies. *spoiler alert*

count your lucky stars. c-drama. this was a decent one. as always, well at least the chinese dramas i have seen all have a similar progression and this one didn't deter from that mold. i enjoyed this concept. and i love the lead actress, the reason i was drawn to this one. but i wish she was more confident like she was at the start of the drama. there were cute moments, and i loved their relationship. but he was mean. and i know he had the tragic back story but still no need to be rude to those around you, especially someone you care for deeply. i rate this is a 7 out of 10.

when i was most beautiful. k-drama. this one. i hyped up. like this was meant to be ji-soo's time to SHINE. boy, i thought my man was going to be the main lead. going to show up and finally get the girl. oh man was i in for some tragic nonsense. it was all a mess. because if only they had waited a few more years. both grew some more, maybe then it would have been perfect timing, but their timing was soooo wrong. and his brother was sooooo wrong. i still don't understand his logic, and complete disregard for his brother. i was an interesting one. and if you're looking for tragedy, and soapy drama this is one for you. i give it a 6 out of 10

romance, talk. webdrama. this was another webdrama from my main leading man, choi kyung-hoon. as i write this after a month and a half, i recall enjoying it and kind of predicting the ending, of it being the one kid in class.

school nurse files. miniseries. this was an interesting watch. unexpected and i enjoyed it, for how weird it was. definitely not something i would typically watch, but thank you to nam joo-hyuk. it follows a new school nurse eun-young who has the ability to see jelly monsters that stem from human desires. she has the power to eradicate them because sometimes they can overwhelm people/places. nam joo-hyuk's character, in-pyo, has a special power that protects him from the influence of these jellies. they have to work together to protect the school. and it's really good. the animation was great, and i loved the characters we got to see. i rate it a 8.5 out of 10.

a-teen. webdrama. this was a cute one. i loved the characters, and i finally understand the context of the instagram snippets i see. it was cute, and fun. i loved the little cameos. and i especially loved the seventeen ost tracks.

record of youth. k-drama. bro. this drama was top tier, as to be expected from my park bo-gummy. i rate it a 10 out of 10, and this one already has a review, because it was too much to contain in one rewind.

do do sol sol la la sol. k-drama. this one will have it's own review. it follows the story of our tragic ra-ra who is currently in a mess, when her fiance runs from the alter and her father unexpectedly passes away, she is scammed out of her money and finds herself in eunpo, a town full of lovely characters who come to surround her. as well as our man jun, who is ra-ra's knight in shining armor. i love it. it's great. their story funny and lighthearted. i would rate it a 10 out of 10; however, that finale had me balling my eyes out and then i felt oh so betrayed, sooooo i am still processing.

“Alright, what color next?” I asked Mingi while subconsciously wiping the makeup brush onto my already stained shirt.

“Hmm, what goes with green and black?” He asked looking into the small mirror.

“Nothing.” I simply stated with a small smile.

He studied the pallete closely before landing on a bright red color in the top corner.

“Oh, try this one!” He said excitedly.

I looked up at him with loving eyes and gave him a small smile before studying the color.

“We ll, it goes with your hair.~” I cooed, pulling up his hair and causing him to let out a small laugh.

Now just where to put it? I thought in my head, seeing as one eye was a neon green and the other a glittery black.

“You could do one of those cut creases.” He stated pointing towards the center of his eye.

“How do you know what that is and even I don’t?” I teased, putting some pigment onto the brush. I’d of course heard of it before, but never tried it for myself.

“I have no idea how I do that though hang on-“ I grabbed my phone but he quickly stopped me.

“No no! I can teach you and show you how to.”

“Alright.” I said with a cheeky smile, setting my phone right back down where it was.

“Ohh this one next!” I exclaimed pointing towards the glittery blue shade.

Mingi looked at me with small eyes and began to apply the color to my eyelid.

And now, here we were, with random colors now spread all throughout our eyelids and cheeks.

Mingi decided that what he would do is put makeup on my eye to teach me, and I’d just follow along and mimick what he did to me.

And now, we both looked a mess, with both of our shirts stained with colors we didn’t even remembering using, and streaks we didn’t even remember creating.

“I must say, you look very handsome.” I teased, cooing his now that now also had red on it.

“You too~.” He cooed back.

“But beautiful! Not handsome!” He exclaimed, widening his tiny eyes.

“Awe so so cute~.” My free eye twinkled at him as my other one was getting lightly patted on with the brush.

And his eyes twinkled right back at me with a wide smile.

“Soo Y/n, I lost my key again so I’m gonna-” San and Yeosang walked through the door with multiple snacks I’m hand and stopped upon seeing us on my living room floor in the mess of makeup.

“Wow.” San said with squinted eyes, and I started to feel bad. We were all supposed to meet at the movies later tonight, but Yeosang and San decided to come over to the house to finish a series Mingi and I had started a while ago, as we only had four episodes left in the season.

“Oh gosh, sorry we-“

“And you didn’t invite us?” He asked with a painful look.

“My eyes are literally huge, I’d be able to fit twice as much as Mingi.” Yeosang joked, setting the food down and having a seat next to us, followed by San’s equally as eager self.

My final top 11 Produce 101

Soo after a lot of consideration i personally really hope that these 11 or should i say 12 will be the final contestants to debut as the new i.o.i

1. Ong Seongwoo From the first moment i saw him i think I’ve already fall for him. He’s just so handsome and really good at dancing! And after watched episode by episode it turns out that he’s a lot more than that. He also a really good singer that can reach high note (I was amazed when they say Seongwoo sang the chorus of get ugly), a huge dork that loves to entertain people and a person with infinite confidence that always brings out the positive aura into his surrounding. I’m so glad that he got more screentime lately!! Especially on ep 8 where they played the punch king game!! It was soo funny! Oh oh and not long ago revealed that he once had a part time job as a model in a wedding photoshoot. The outcome turns really good! The chemistry between he and his pair was 👌🏻👌🏻. In the end I really hope that a lot more people can recognize his all round talent and vote for him and keep him in a safe place in top11 because this kid truly deserve it!

2. Kang Daniel So like some other people i also kinda ship daniel and seongwoo. They seems to get along really well and like to encourage each other. Maybe it was because their only one year gap age and have been in the same group twice in a row. So i can really imagine how cute it will be if they debut together!! Just like Seongwoo, Daniel is also a hard working person that seems want to excell in everything. He even try to be a leader after inspired by Jonghyun. Although at first he seems clueless and didn’t know how to lead his member, in the end he unite his member and brings out a really good performance with a really good chemistry between them. About his mistake for giving hints what concept does he like so the korean will vote for that concept for him, i think he already got the best punishment. It was a really good lesson for him to be more cautious and fair in the future. So please forgive and give him a second chance! P.s. he has a broad shoulder (60cm) and cute eye whiskers when he laugh that is something you can’t get enough of.

3. Kim Jonghyun The new i.o.i really need a national leader like him, seriously!! He seems so nice and patience and fair but also firm. The way he always encourage hyunbin and told him that he can do it if he work hard really melt my heart. Besides he is a good rapper. His rap in the last evaluation was lit! His deep voice really suited the deep meaning of rap that he was tryin to share. He is also very humble! He said that being first was too high for him and it was a burdensome, but he was really thankful and said that he will work even harder so the people that vote for him will not be disappointed. And last but not least he’s sooooo charming and has a really good smile that will soothe your day.

4. Noh Taehyun Oh boi i just adore him so much, especially after his performance in Shape Of You. Being a leader, center, and choreographer at the same time truly wasn’t an easy thing to do. But he can pull it off!! He and his member gave us a really great performance with great coordination that made the audience go crazy and begged for an encore. He also seems to be a fun guy to hang around with. Even though he already debuted as kid monster in hotshot i think he deserves to be in top 11 with those huge talent that he has.

5. Ha Sungwoon At first i thought he was specialized in dancing, just like his fellow hotshot member, Noh Taehyun, because of their audition. But then he chose vocal in the position evaluation (downpour by i.o.i). He seriously made a really great choice because his voice was sooo good!! It was soft and shooting and really suited the song and really matched jaehwan’s voice when they harmonized. From that on he kinda caught my attention. He also seems to be a very hard working person that brave enough to show his ‘never’ dance alone when no one else did.

6. Kim Samuel I’m still bitter about his huge drop rank in the latest elimination. He’s not even in the top 11. Why people why?! He is a really whole package to be an idol. He has a stable voice, great dancing skill, good facial expression, handsome, a cute dongsaeng, and he even rap well despite his young age. So for all of the korean out there please stop sleeping on him because he truly deserve to be in top 11.

7. Kim Jaehwan Woah from sorry sorry to downpour he never fail to amaze me. His voice was just too good to be true! He can hit all of the high note effortlessly! He is seriously an ideal main vocal. He also seems humble and far from controversy. Although his dancing skill wasn’t too good, i believe that he can work hard on that and be better in the future.

8. Jung Sewoon He has a good voice, good at playing guitar and has an ability to compose his own song! The moment i really fall for him was when he played guitar while performing 'playing with fire’ song. It was so lit! The arrangement of that song was also really good!!

9. Lee Daehwi He has a really good face expression, good voice, a good dancer, loves to compose song, and willing to go all the way back to korea left his parents who are stay permanently in us to chase his dream to be a singer when he was only 16. He is also a really cute kid who brings positive energy and seems to be close with everyone in produce 101. And of course a really great center in nayana.

10. Park Woojin I also really like this guy! He is truly a dark horse. At first he seems to not stand out between the other trainee, but his amazing dancing skill finally showed in the dance battle and the evaluation. He even choreographed get ugly dance along with Daniel and Samuel. Besides, he can rap well too. So i think he deserves to be in top 11.

11. Lai Guanlin or Park Jihoon? I still debate myself between these two because i like them both equally. -Lai Guanlin When i first saw his audition along with his fellow trainee from cube he seems to be lacking a lot. But when the show goes by he really improved a lot! He even became a great center in the position evaluation and turned to be number 2 in the latest elimination. There are a lot of potential in this kid that haven’t shown yet. So have a faith in him because i’m sure that he will be a big hit in the future. -Park Jihoon Until know i still think that he’s slightly overrated. But he suits enough to fill the remain spot in the new i.o.i. He is afterall a good dancer, has a really good facial expressions, and is a great visual. I kinda glad that his ranking drop to 3 because it shows that he’s not always safe in the first rank, so he really need to work hard if he want to maintain that position.
