Black Panther… Absolute masterpiece.

�� I saw it on Thursday and honestly it was the BEST time I’ve had in a marvel movie! Shuri was so adorable, tchalla was so human and just the culture and everything was amazing to see. Being a native islander from a place that was colonized, it struck so many chords with me ��

Shuri is the coolest Disney princess! That relationship she has with T’challa is amazing, it has such that brotherly and sisterly feel. It was the first time were I watched a Marvel movie and felt that the main character was actually human.

*work in progress* Started working on Council Guard Rick outfit since there were hella lots of Ricks during last Pyrkon cosplay event. I will use the portal gun I made before as a normal gun, just with a portal making module. Way easier, maybe not as common, but I’m sure one of the Ricks would think of sth like that. I don’t think I will have a blaster. Maybe. Maybe not. I found the belts and stuff in like 10 mins so it will look better. I hope.

@theinfiniterick oh I know what you were trying it do! I wasn't insinuating that anyone was attacking anyone :) I agree with everything you've said, I personally don't believe Rick is completely heartless and incapable of feelings. That's why I was chipping in; because I feel that a lot of those 'writing X character tips' posts tend to make out that there is a correct way of writing someone... When that simply isn't true. I wanted to make sure anyone reading this post wasn't feeling shitty about the way they write, whether they write him as loving and kind, or possessive and mean. Different strokes for different folks :P

The citadel wasn’t your favorite place in the whole universe but you did enjoy tagging along with Rick and his grandson. You’d made friends with Morty after they crashed into your workplace one day–he promised to let you come on a few adventures as compensation.

“Hey, what’s this place?” you pointed to an ornate building on your left with Rick’s face plastered on a steeple.“

“Oh, th-that’s the Church of Rick,” Morty responded. “Rick says never to go there. I-its filled with a bunch of ‘abnormals,’ he calls it.”

You had to think for a second. With normal Rick being such an asshole, what was an… abnormal Rick?

Just then, the door to the church opened and cutting through it’s golden glare stepped a feminine figure… or so you thought. Curious, you stopped to observe as Morty and Rick walked off.

Trodding carefully down the steps was a Rick, you realized. A soft breeze fluttered his cute but minimalist church-going dress, the bowl-cut of his blue hair split by a headband with an off-white bow.

You’ve always had a crush on Morty’s Rick, but you were unsure why this one in particular made you blush. He was just too endearing to watch–comfortable in his own skin and proudly wearing his Sunday dress, happy for no apparent reason.

“O-oh hey there, a-are you okay?” The kind-faced Rick was already infront of you. You hadn’t even realized how long you were staring. “Y-you seem a little out it of it, friend.”

“Oh, sorry about tha–” you were cut off abruptly by boisterous voices in passing.

“Oh-oh my God, guys, J-19 has a new frriiiend.” … “Yea I guess that dress is reeally working out for -euRGh- for him.”… “I’d stay away if I were you, man, y-you’re gonna get space cooties, aahhhhhahaha.”

You glared at the Ricks as they passed and held your tongue for the sake of peacekeeping. Turning back toward who you presumed was J-19, you placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.

“Are you okay? I’m sorry that just happened. What the heck is their problem?”

J-19 looked thankful for your concern at first then hung his head.

“I-i guess I can’t blame them.” He fiddled at the sides of his cotton dress. “I-i really am weird for a Rick. I’m not h-handsome like they are, and I just like different things.”

“Well… I for one think you look adorable.”

J-19 looked up, eyes a-light with fondness and gratitude.

“Y-you really think so?!” he smiled. Oh gosh it was adorable.

Something about him sparked a warmth in you. Maybe it was how adorable he really was… or maybe it was the thought of how cute and shy he would look if you got him alone. Maybe both?

“Say, J-19… would you like to come over to my place for dinner tonight?”

A bright reddish-pink ensued on his cheeks as he scritched at the back of his head.

“I-i-i’d love that…” he looked down once more, this time smiling.
