I’m so happy I’m following you because sometimes in this fandom it does feel like you’re in the trenches alone regarding ace Eddie ESPECIALLY when it comes to Buddie. Im personally of the opinion that Eddie is demiaro ace and Buck is aromantic allosexual but honestly either of them benign canonically on the aroace spectrum would be absolutely amazing. We can dream. Anyway, thanks for your Eddie takes, much appreciated

!! this made my day week etc!! because this was exactly my goal when i decided to be even more annoying about aspec eddie and amatonormativity in fandom i just was sick of feeling alone in fandom and i wanted to make a space for aspecs in the 9-1-1 fandom because that’s what’s gotten me through other fandoms , having a group of people who support or understand. if we are going to be in the trenches we should at least be in the trenches together

and i agree so much when it comes to ships it’s super hard!! this past year it got super hard for me to the point where i felt so alone i couldn’t even enjoy buddie anymore but i didn’t like that so i’ve been trying to make it better for myself by not keeping all the aphobic or amatonormative things i see inside anymore but talking about them and it’s really helped.

i don’t have much hope for canon aspec rep in anything really tbh but it would be AMAZING!! but until we live in a world that i can have hope for aspec rep i have aspec hcs to keep me going.

He’s got a stupid smug smile on his face and Eddie tilts his head back in defeat.

Buck sees it as an invitation and nuzzles in close, leaving opened mouth kisses down his neck until he reaches his collar bone where he nips and sucks at the skin, leaving a visible claim on Eddie. It sends a thrill throughout him.

Buck places a gentle kiss on the mark.

“Eds, did that turn you on? Me on top of you? Muffling your sounds?” He runs his nose along his jaw, up to his ear, his voice a husky whisper. “Did you imagine what that would feel like if I was fucking you? Trying to keep you quiet as you lost yourself in pleasure, on the feel of my cock inside you?”

Something is wrong.

“Buck”, Eddie says his name slowly, like he’s a deer that could easily be startled, “do you remember Monday night, after I got home from working a shift without you?”

“We had a few beers and you told me about that crazy call.”

“Yes. And do you remember what happened afterwards?”

“Uh — no? Should I?”

The ice in his veins spreads and soon his whole body feels frozen, like a bucket of icy water has just been dumped all over him.

“Oh shit, did I drink too much on an empty stomach again? That always leaves me way drunker than I should be and I can’t remember shit the next day”

Buck doesn’t remember.

He doesn’t remember.

Eddie’s entire world crashes down around him. He feels like his body has stopped working. He doesn’t know if he’s breathing but he’s pretty sure his heart has stopped.

Buck’s memories of them can’t be gone.

OR

Buck and Eddie finally get together only for lightning to strike a few days later, leaving Buck with no memories of them ever becoming a couple.
