In Dublin, Ireland, I went to the Dublin City Gallery, The Hugh Lane @thehughlane and saw Francis Bacon's studio. All that was in the studio when he died was re-captured how he left it at this permanent exhibition. He was quoted once as saying "Chaos for me breeds images", or something to that effect. Chaos indeed. I like this painting - it is 'The Village, Twilight' by Henri Eugene Augustin Le Sidaner, (1902).

Le Sidaner was a contemporary of the Post-Impressionists. Apparently, his style contained elements of Impressionism and he was influenced by Monet, Manet and the Pointillists.
