Right. Holly, I think we had a talk about my three wishes for the genie? I know they weren't themed for writing but they could be easily modified to be.

Regardless, because I still have the same three wishes except I guess slightly modified for writing, it is impossible for me to write it down. I will just copy paste my message from that talk cause I just found it.

For context, I came up with those wishes somewhere around the time when I came up with the concept for what I want so like when I was 8 yo I think. For the other context, when I was 8 I came up with a concept that would allow me to actually live the life I want with no regrets. Problem being that it is impossible (at the very least for me) to deacribe it or put it into any words but I am sure of all the specifics of how it would work and function and I do have a very clear image of me using this concept to its full potential. It is always what I answer when someone asks what I would want for genie to fulfill the wish as

For the genie to be able to read my mind and thoughts

For the genie to be able to grant wishes based on my mind and thoughts

For the genie to make the concept that I manifested in my mind and thoughts to become reality with all the specifics I made it to be

Maybe it is not a satisfying advice but quite seriously ever since I was 8 I never had any other wishes I would ever want to ask a genie and I just have always modified the concept in my head to fit whatever narrative is given and in this case I just modified it slightly to only ever apply to writing. Good enough.

Apologies if you’ve brought this up before and I forgot, but what are your thoughts on main character Deku/Midoriya?

Deku is a good main character, he has a good design and he's a lot more likeable then most Anime main characters. I like his determination and how much of a dumbass genius he is, and I like how he'll kick your ass AND become your best friend.

And honestly this may be odd but something I've always liked about him is his crying- I know that sounds weird but I like that him and others get to actually cry, from happiness, from fear, from pain, crying when overwhelmed is perfectly normal and not something to feel shame over and I like that a main character that is badass is allowed to cry, as well as the others in the cast. A lot of people find it annoying and sometimes it is a bit much but I still find it neat.
