Hunk tries to teach Shiro how to cook, Shiro owes Hunk Cooking equipment.
Sorry this took so long. I originally planned to have this up for Shiro’s birthday but…life. :) Thanks for prompting!
Fic: Cupcakes and Camaraderie
Relationships: Hunk & Shiro, past Shiro/Adam
Author’s Notes: Shiro is still the Black Paladin here…cuz.
Shiro flipped on the light in the mess hall kitchen and cracked his knuckles. Making a few cupcakes shouldn’t be too hard, right? With some whipped cream and what did Adam always put on top? Graham cracker crumbles?
Whatever it was, Shiro was positive he could figure out, and since Iverson was off grounds for a few days to oversee the launch proceedings, Shiro could take all the time he wanted in the Galaxy Garrison mess.
Finding the pans proved more difficult than he thought, and did he really need to use the mixer? Maybe he could conscript the blender. Just what was the difference between a tablespoon and teaspoon? Did anyone really know?
Okay, on his tablet, he found a recipe for “easy red velvet cupcakes with vanilla icing.” Easy. It was in the title. He could totally do this.
Less than ten minutes later, Shiro found himself wiping off an egg, flour, and water mixture from his nose. Maybe he couldn’t do this. He was seventy-five percent sure the batter shouldn’t be gray-green.
“What!” a new voice screeched, causing Shiro to whirl toward the doorway. “You-You did not just destroy my kitchen!”
Shiro paused from demanding, your kitchen, but it wasn’t like Shiro knew the garrison chefs well. Then again, Shiro didn’t remember ever seeing this cadet or officer before. Dark hair, an orange wrap, and a yellow-accented Galaxy Garrison uniform – what rank did that dictate? – he seemed out of sorts, standing in the doorway, glaring Shiro down.
Shiro dropped his tablespoon – or was it a teaspoon – on instinct and raised both hands. “Look, I didn’t think anyone would notice. I was just trying to – ”
“ – paint every single surface of this place in batter, if you can even call it that!” The man stalked forward, keen eyes glaring down at the green concoction as if it personally offended him. Then he looked up at Shiro – and froze. “S-Shiro?”
“Uh…yes?” He didn’t think he’d met this person before, but ever since the Kerberos mission announcement, so many people knew his name. “I’m sorry. I don’t remember…have we met?”
“…not yet, I don’t think.” The man straightened his shoulders and rubbed the back of his hair. “I…guess that wormhole wasn’t as harmless as we thought.”
“Wormhole?” Shiro echoed.
Before he could ask the person more, the yellow-clad officer replied, “Don’t worry about it. I’m sure Allura and Pidge – um, some people I know are working on it. Anyway.” He seemed happier all of sudden, scrubbing his hands together and smirking at Shiro. “What’cha trying to do here? Don’t tell me. Muffins.”
Shiro smiled with a slight wince. “Not quite.”
“Brownies?”
“Getting warmer…sorta.”
The man huffed loudly. “Please tell me you weren’t trying to make cupcakes. You have pepper in this!”
Shiro glanced away. “I couldn’t find the salt.”
“No, nope. Uh-huh. This cannot happen.” He pointed a sharp finger at a stool near the counter. “You sit over there while I clean up the mess and make a proper set of cupcakes.”
“Can’t I help –”
“No!” The officer sucked a quick breath, offered a gentle smile, and patted Shiro twice on the shoulder. “I mean, thanks for the offer, but why don’t you watch me work for a sec and tell me why you were trying to make some cupcakes? I’m Hunk, by the way.”
“Shiro.” Shiro took his designated seat and plopped his chin upon his fist. “Had a craving. My…uh, ex used to make them for me, but…he’s now my ex, so…”
Hunk began to measure out the ingredients – eggs, milk, butter, flour, salt, and vanilla – and nodded along. “Hard after something like that. What happened…uh, if you don’t mind me asking.”
“I’m, uh.” Shiro looked away, unsure why he felt comfortable explaining to Hunk this situation. It wasn’t like the entire garrison hadn’t been gossiping about it for the last week. “I was chosen for the Kerberos mission.”
“Oh, right! I’d heard that. Congrats, man! That’s awesome. Not sure why that means you have an ex. Isn’t he happy for you? Proud?”
“He didn’t want me to go. And I’m going, so…”
Hunk glanced around the room – looking for what, Shiro couldn’t tell – before reaching for a larger bowl with high walls to pour his current mixture into. “I’m sorry to hear that. Relationships can be hard. My girlfriend and I, we’re positioned on different sides of the…world. It’s hard to send a transmission to her sometimes, let alone actually see her. But she hangs in there, y’know? Good times, bad times. That’s how I know it’s forever.”
Shiro glanced away. “…I thought it was going to be forever. I’ve known Adam since…well, our first year at the garrison. We were flight partners, and then – y’know.”
“And I’m sure in some universe, you guys are still together, but in this one – you chose the stars and Adam chose to leave. That’s actually, really mature. You both decided what you could live with and what you couldn’t, and then you moved on and found someone who wants the same thing as you.”
Shiro blinked and sat up straighter, a knot in his chest unfurling. “No one – No one has ever put it like that before. Even Commander Holt said I should try to patch things up.”
“Can’t speak for Holt but it sounds like you and Adam want different things. And that’s okay.” Hunk hooked the larger bowl up to the mixer, and a high-pitched whirling added a soundtrack to their conversation. “Better to figure that out now than after you’re married.”
“Yeah, yeah. I guess so.” He couldn’t deny he would miss Adam, though, couldn’t deny he already did.
“But y’know, might not be a bad idea to at least try to clear the air,” Hunk offered, separating the cupcake wrappers in the tin. “Maybe apologize that things didn’t work out, not that you’re taking the mission.”
Shiro leaned back on his hand and watched as Hunk poured the batter precisely into each cup, wiping the edge of the bowl with a napkin. “Maybe. It’s still a few months away. What about you? You said your girlfriend lives elsewhere? Are you looking to close the distance?”
Hunk nodded. “Yeah, one day, but it’s kinda important the work we’re doing, my team and me. Shay understands.”
“Hm. Sounds nice.”
“It is, but not everyone has what we have. And not everyone finds it as quickly, either – or at all.” Hunk slid the tray into the oven and started the timer. “But when you do – when you find people who love you for who you are, not who they want you to be – you hold onto them.”
Shiro smiled as Hunk handed him the spoon to lick. “Sound advice.”
“Eh. I have a good team leader who knows his stuff.”
As soon as Shiro finished the spoon, he joined Hunk in cleaning up the thrown batter, despite Hunk’s disapproval. Hunk told Shiro he liked his kitchen a certain way, but Shiro wasn’t about to let someone else clean up his mess without any help.
As they worked, Shiro spoke about the mission, about Keith, about his days at the Galaxy Garrison, and Hunk talked about Shay, about his friends, and about meeting new people and learning new recipes.
The oven dinged not long after they wiped down the last surface, and soon Shiro was humming around a delicious set of red velvet cupcakes. They were the best he’d ever had, and he made sure to tell Hunk such.
Hunk blushed and took a bite of his own mini cake. “Hey, y’know, it might not seem like it now, but it sounds like you have lots of people who care about you, man. If you ever want them to bake you cupcakes, you just say the word. I’m sure they would.”
Shiro laughed, though it was hollow. “Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind.”
“And maybe – you might want to tell Admiral Sanda or Commander Holt that when they start training on the Mecha Flex Exofighters, they should work with their best pilots, not cadets? That’s just…conducive to saving the world, y’know? Training the best rather than the youngest.”
Halfway through his second cupcake – screw his pre-mission diet – Shiro mumbled, “What’s an exofighter? I haven’t heard of those before – or flown them.”
Hunk winked. “Just trust me, all right? Mention it to Sam. Oh, and do the world a favor, Shiro. Stay out of the kitchen or only use it with adult supervision.”
Shiro would have glared, but he was too preoccupied with the cupcakes. He would do as many sessions at the gym as needed to finish off yet another two or three.
“Shiro? One more thing,” Hunk added just before he exited the room. “Happy Birthday – and many more.”
Shiro snorted. He didn’t know how many more there would be, but he was determined to enjoy the rest of this one. Hey, there was still a good half dozen left. Maybe he’d take a few to Keith and Matt.
One Mission, Many Wormholes, and Two Birthdays Later
The door to mess hall slid open, and Shiro looked left, then right, before stepping inside. Immediately, the lights flipped on, and Shiro barely held in his screech.
“Hunk,” he managed once he breathed again. “You don’t have to guard the kitchen every year.”
Hunk lifted a tray of expertly decorated and undeniably delicious cupcakes. A few sported little Black Lions while the rest had the head of Voltron. “Yes, yes I do. Trust me on that. Now come on. Get your first cupcake before the rest of the garrison arrives.”
Shiro raised an eyebrow as he selected his cupcake, finger sweep around the edge of the icing. “The rest of the garrison…?”
In less than ten minutes time, the mess hall upon the Atlas was packed with the various teams, including Admiral Allura with her ship crew, Commander Adam West with his MFE Squadron, Prince Lotor with his Sincline generals, and of course, Shiro with his paladins. Black rumbled in the back of his mind, and as he sat among his teams, Shiro smiled and snatched another cupcake or three.
Eventually, he collapsed to the corner of the hall, eyes roaming over the people he held nearest and dearest to his heart. Hunk came to sit next to him and smirked at the wrappers on the table next to Shiro.
“Having a good day?”
“Yeah, yeah. Y’know, Hunk, someone once told me that if I ever wanted cupcakes, all I had to do is ask the people around me.”
Hunk blinked and then shrugged. “Well, y’know, I’m more than happy to –”
“But there’s something special about coming down to a set of cupcakes already made just for me.” He clasped Hunk on the shoulder and smiled. “Thanks, Hunk. It is nice to have people here who love me for who I am, not who they want me to be.”
Hunk smiled. “It is a nice feeling. And my kitchen stays intact. I like that.”
“That’s best for all parties involved,” Shiro laughed.
“Yeah, we wouldn’t be able to form Voltron without its head.”
Shiro let out a quick laugh, which Hunk shared, and decided to assume Hunk was joking. Still, he’d stay out of the kitchen, just to make sure.

Hey, you said at some point that s7 was rewritten, where did they confirm that? What other comments have they made about how things completely changed in s7?
Ah, crap, the source escapes me. I think it was a post-S7 interview, and I saw the quote go by on my dash. Someone else must know the citation. @ptw30 @froldgapp @thehawkeyefan anyone?
As I recall, it was something JDS said, that amounted to admitting they’d had S7 written in its entirety with Shiro regaining his position as Black Paladin. But they requested and got permission to do a full rewrite for Keith to be Black Paladin, instead. When or how or why, I have no idea, though.

Yeah Shiro doesn't need a protection unit, but I am full hearted supporter of the Shiro support squad.
This is one of the reasons why I love Shiro. He was bad ass, the Champion, a capable and competent warrior. Yet he was willing to accept help and fought better with a team.
There are very few characters I have loved as much as I love Shiro.

BTW, A Voltron Strategy Game is coming out this month - I wonder if everyone involved is trying to use witchcraft instead of marketing to make people learn about the game. Which is a shame, it actually looks like a fun game.
Is that Cubes from Olkarion? I seriously hadn’t even heard about it until you wrote this, and I generally check Voltron on Google once a day.
...how is it I can be nauseated by DreamWorks one moment, then see Shiro the next in a new way (highlighted in purple like he’s using the Black Bayard in Voltron), and just get goosebumps all over again?
...sigh. Damn. Someone find me a new obsession!

I went to hot topic, switch it over to best seller, and the Allura statue shirt was literally on the bottom of the 2nd page - the least sold shirt on hot topic
I still don’t know why @hottopic or @dreamworksanimation thinks anyone wants to wear a tomb on their body, and marketing the death of a non-white female heroine is tone-deaf at best and outright disgusting at its worst implication.
And HT has stopped publishing negative comments on it because I adhered to their comment policy - read the whole thing - and commented, and they haven’t published my comment yet. Y’know, after they deleted the first one which they originally published.
But “best seller” actually doesn’t mean it is the most sold merchandise. It can mean that, and in this insistence, it probably does. But unfortunately “best seller” isn’t a regulated term, so HT can stick whatever merchandise they want on the top and say it’s flying off the shelves.
By that also means that at the very least, HT realizes the shirt isn’t selling and moved it to the bottom to promote more popular merchandise.

I think I figured out why Hunk's arc feels so broken and inconsistent (besides the obvious lack of an arc). Hunk suffers from a faulty set up - the show made a mistake and accidently set-up that Hunk's best position would be outside of Voltron in the episodes "Fall of the Castle of Lions" and "Tears of the Balmera". The episode forces the team's true strengths out by pulling the rug out from under them. Hunk and Coran go Solo, Allura takes command, Shiro tends to Lance. (1/2)
Truth is I love that Shiro shows concern for Lance in these episodes, but honestly he acts more like a Yellow Paladin in these episodes instead of a Black Paladin - in fact this would have given Hunk a more solid motivation then going to the Balmera ever could. The rest of Season 1-2 soft retcon him back to the true BP. Allura takes charge as a Queen should, but she only needed to give direction to Shiro before taking up the Balmera solo mission. She acts like a BP (Much better than blue). (2/2)
Tending to one of your teammates doesn’t make you not the Black Paladin. Hunk as the Yellow Paladin is to lift the others up, according to the lore, and be caring and kind. But a leader needs to be that as well. A good leader not only shows the team the correct path but also must give comfort during dark times.
As for Allura - she was always a better fit for Black than Blue, IMHO. But as the EPs broke their own lore after Season 2 - well, nothing really fits for the rest of the series.

I think the biggest problem with the other superheroes in Miraculous Ladybug is that they get their one episode (unless your Chloe and they want you to be both a superhero and not change so the status quo doesn't change.) and after that one episode they only ever appear as just another tool at LB's disposal. That is also my real issue with Catalyst and Mayura. We should have seen LB and CN coaching them, there were better ways to show LB and CN were far more experienced.
I have grievances against Miraculous. There are three major ones, but overall - Miraculous is a kids’ show and it’s actually a kids’ show. I give it a bit more leeway in that regard, but there is no denying that it really hasn’t progressed in its three seasons.
Marinette still can’t talk to Adrien. Cat Noir is still chasing after Ladybug. There are minor wins - like Chloe’s break-through when she wanted to get her teacher a present and admitted she was wrong - but even that was quickly retconned or at least ignored, as you pointed out. The series is framed so kids learn a new life lesson every episode, some of which I don’t agree with - but overall, Ladybug and Cat Noir are “good” people who stay good, which I’m all for. I like that. And they aren’t perfect and neither is the show.
I’m going to admit I don’t remember many details of the show. Ironically I was watching Season 3 this morning at the gym, but I rarely rewatch an episode. I watch the season and move on to the next show. But I would like the other heroes to be more than plot devices, and I’d really like Cat Noir to stop sexually harassing Ladybug. She asks him to numerous times, and her persists, even telling her that he will go against her wishes and won’t stop her pursuing her. And Ladybug is stick with him because the other heroes on the show don’t get to keep their powers.
As for Ladybug, I like how she figures out how to win with the items the Miraculous gives her, but...that feels like she’ll never win without her Miraculous.
But again, other than Cat Noir’s behavior, I can overlook almost everything because - we all need help now and then. And we shouldn’t be afraid to ask for it.

VLD is not getting another series, you can tell by the way they keep releasing new shirts, mugs, Lion Forge said there would be surprises if they continue the comic. VLD isn't getting another series, did I mention they released a set of socks on Hot Topic that literally have the paladins depicted on them. This doesn't sound like gearing up for a series announcement at all.
…here’s the thing. With the dropping of new series and the panels right at the beginning of the year, marketing was poised to announce back at the turn of year, just like they did for VLD. The SacAnime panel with the VAs was almost three years to the day they announced VLD, and it had the VAs for Shiro, Allura, Zarkon, and Lotor. And maybe by coincidence, Keith’s VA was in Portland the day after the first panel.
It would have been a proactive response, something that is all companies are moving toward. It’s part of their marketing strategy. It made sense.
And then nothing. And the EPs go on the attack, ending their last interview, potentially their last VLD interview, with “Hopefully someone someday will fix our mess.”
If that’s not closing out, I don’t know what is.
(Watch them have another interview tomorrow.)
Next up is SDCC, which means if DreamWorks wanted to have a “first look” panel at SDCC and drop the season after, then they need to announce this month or May at the latest.
Josh Keaton posted a few Voltron tweets the other day. AJ has been a bit more active. CBR dropped a new Lotor article just last Sunday, and a third designer dropped a new pic on March 27th, the first one since March 6th. Old shirts have been pushed to the top of Amazon just this week, and we know the next interview with Kimberly and Josh will be on April 26th.
Do all points lead to something coming? Yeah. Do I think it will?
Only time will tell, but I can tell you - as time marches on, I just keep thinking of what could have been and just how terrible the ending was. And…just - wtf?
The longer DreamWorks says silent, the harder I think it will be to actually watch any series they produce, let alone Voltron. I mean, they’d literally have to say Allura is alive, Shiro is in Black and will use his bayard, and the ending will be happy - for me to watch. And well, I can’t see that happening.
But I sure as hell won’t put myself through another VLD.

I don't watch season 1-2 as much anymore, which is ironic considering how much VLD is still on my mind. Right now I got 10 different fanfic idea's for vld - about 4 where for complete reboots, 4 where weird crossovers, 1 canon divergence, and 1 fluff that eventually changed to canon divergence. Back before season 7 it was all fluff. :|
We all grieve in different ways.

Here is something I wonder, we now know LM and JDS stopped updating the Story Bible after seasons 1-2. Where DW's execs ever made aware Keith was going to be BP through the entirety of those episodes - maybe they knew he was going to be for a season, but did LM and JDS make them aware they intended this as a permanent change. I mean, they could have used the moment where Lance and Shiro talk in the void to lie and say he returned that episode - and refer to Keith as the BP so they wouldn't know.
We won’t ever know for sure, but if I remember correctly, the EPs said their original idea was for Shiro not to be killed, but actually out a season.
My guess is - there were five EPs in Season 1-2, including the head of Studio Mir. They set up the story for the entire rest of the series. So if we look at the seasons as a whole -
Seasons 1-2 (production season 1) - Black Paladin Shiro
Seasons 3-6 (production season 2) - Black Paladin Keith vs. Lotor
Seasons 7-8 (production season 3) - Black Paladin Shiro.
I think for the most part, JDS & LM just had to keep the lights on and make sure production stayed on schedule.
Now, that means that someone didn’t get the memo was Shiro was gone for most of Seasons 3-6, and as we know, the EPs took the reins and threw out the bible the moment the other three EPs left the room.
I think that’s when changes began to occur - and sure, maybe the EPs didn’t know who would be the Season 8 big bad originally, but you can’t tell me there wasn’t an expert storyteller on hand originally to write Allura in Atlas heading back up to take on Sendak and get back her paladins, after Allura was behind a particle barrier in the pilot and needed Voltron to save the day.
That was planned.
And since all the shirts revealed now, show the original line-up, and as I wrote in the “Atlas/Voltron merge meant nothing post,” where Hyper-phase Voltron was set to drop a few months before it was to hit selves - marketing seemingly took their info from the bible.
…so yeah, my guess is - the execs didn’t know Keith would be in the Black Lion in Seasons 7-8, until it was too late.
But at the same time, I really do believe the EPs learned just before Season 5 aired, that they wouldn’t be back. So arguably - once the execs found out, they showed the EPs the door.

The ending of VLD has a slight feeling to it that Marketing at some point said the ending must show Shiro apart of team Voltron - and Monsantos decided to do the bare minimum they could. At least it does for me, am I overthinking this?
Nope. Not overthinking it.
I talk about this a bit here - Atlas/Voltron - Cool design but ultimately meant nothing. Seriously. - but essentially -
But the Atlas/Voltron merge is not the culmination of the series. It’s not the paladins - six becoming one. (It should have been - more on that below the cut.) The paladins routinely left Shiro behind throughout Season 8, and Atlas isn’t the White Lion.
I would say at best, Atlas/Voltron is a last-ditch attempts by execs (not JDS and LM) to try to give Shiro fans some comfort that Shiro is still a paladin in some capacity. (He is. He’s the Black Paladin, but he’s not a paladin in a lion during the merge.)
That’s really the only thing that Atlas does. It tries to show Shiro as part of the team, and though Atlas/Voltron had the potential to mean so much more, it just…was…nothing. But Shiro is smashed together with the team, so everything is good, right?
…right?

Like OMG! have you heard of the movement of people planning to storm Area 51! I kid you not, they think if they Naruto run they can outrun their bullets. It's going to end so badly.
Now that I have reblogged Jeff...
…
…
…
…I’m assuming at least some of these people vote.
Honestly? I’d be surprised if anything happens. It’s easy to join a Facebook movement. It’s hard to actually fly out to Area 51 and pretend to Naruto run. It’s also super expensive.
Also, they’ll have fly into Las Vegas, Nevada, and if these people can be distracted by a movement to see immigrants from outer space as we’re having concentration camps with immigrants here for asylum - well, I’m thinking they will distracted by Vegas’s pretty lights and forget why they came to the desert.
Or they’ll think Vegas is Area 51, and to be honest, I’m not 100 percent positive it’s not.

(1) I know the common theorized ending is that the Lions were supposed to be sacrificed and Allura was used as a replacement so DW's could use the lions again - however, I believe the evidence not only doesn't support that theory, I think there is a likelier alternative. I do think the evidence supports Allura being sacrificed was a recent change. The evidence for that is in Lance (and Coran which I will explain later)- it's why Lance became Altean, to animate him over Allura.
(2) This also explains the scene where Shiro is lined up with Red. As they made Lance Altean to substitute him for Allura - Lance gets animated over Allura and Shiro is animated into the empty slot. There is also the fact this scene is play with the intent to link Shiro to the Black Lion and Keith to the Red Lion, so this is an edited scene - not new. But that raises another question, if the Lion’s where supposed to be alive, then who was the sacrifice.
(3) When you consider Allura was supposed to be alive - then everything starts to make sense (from the show runners perspective). Allura would have become the Queen of Altea preparing the celebration - Coran is animated over her in this part. Human Lance comes to Altea with Allura - turning him Altean is an attempt to hide this hole. So Coran has to be somewhere - I don’t see any reason the show runners would sacrifice Coran. The only possible sacrifice at that point is Shiro.
(4) Yep, Shiro is the one the show runners tried to kill - again. This would be the only way to explain what Coran was doing in the ending before the edit - in Shiro’s absence he get’s promoted to Captain. The celebration Allura was preparing - for Shiro. The figure Lance was teaching Atlean children about - Shiro. I don’t buy for a second DW’s would allow Allura to be randomly sacrificed suddenly during an edit - there had to be a reason to substitute Allura in. Season 7 was the reason.
(5) Adam died, and the fans were pissed. We know Ezor was edited back to life. We know Shiro dying almost seems like a priority to the show runners at this point. This is what I think the ending was. What do you think?
I think no one was supposed to die.
On a show where “stronger together” was the motto, where the team was supposed to win as a team, where the universe can only be saved by five lions and mega ship infused with another lion, where six paladins battle together- #NoPaladinLeftBehind.
Going beyond that - I don’t see why Lance would tell Altean children about Shiro. He’s not Altean. He’s a hero, but why would they celebrate him on Altea like they would Allura? Shiro would probably have something on Earth.
I don’t see why Coran wouldn’t be Allura’s adviser on Altea. If Altea is back and Allura is there, then so should Coran. I can’t see him sticking around on Atlas.
As I know you read my posts - I honestly believe that the original line-up was to occur, Allura was supposed to be in Atlas, the White Lion was supposed to be infused in Atlas, and at the very end of the day - the Paladins of Voltron - all six PLUS Lotor/Sincline - were going to save the universe.
Together - and live.
That’s empowering, enjoyable, and a story to celebrate.

🔥 Shiro - sorry I am evil
Unpopular opinion: I wasn’t totally against Shiro dying - BUT HE ALWAYS HAD TO COME BACK! And not by sticking him in another person’s body, especially if that person is another paladin.
Plus - Shiro needed to be the Black Paladin after he came back, not have his bond broken.
But Shiro actually dying - though I’m not in favor of it - wouldn’t have been horrifying if a) the EPs didn’t keep trying to kill him and talk about it IN ALMOST EVERY INTERVIEW b) killed all other queer characters c) didn’t wait to so long to show where Shiro was (instead of a clone in “The Journey,” we had Shiro struggling to survive in The Void and eventually coming to see the paladins as part of Black, and then showing up during various parts of the series, like here) -
And d) HE GETS A FAMILY. 100 points to Sytherin if it’s actually a found family with the paladins.
...but yeah. I don’t mind Shiro dying as long as he comes back and he’s not gone for 26 episodes and then tossed to the side like the plot device he became.

An example for my previous ask: "Keith yells at Lance before storming off.... The Paladins enter Voltrons Void. Lance finds Shiro in the void. Lance uses his Bayard in Voltron and stops the monster. Keith apologizes to Lance.... The Black Paladin thinks they should bring Lotor to the Kral Zera... The Black Paladin takes Lotor to the Kral Zera despite Allura disagreeing." Any action Keith would take in the Black Lion he gets referred to as the BP, if Keith doesn't get linked to Black he's Keith.
Sure, but dude, it’s easy to be an asshole. It’s being good at your job, that’s hard.
If you stop updating a bible and you complain to your bosses that it’s just so hard with the edits, you know? Just so hard. We’re overwhelmed, and the team is working overtime. Geez, I’ll make sure to update that ASAP, and you’ve seen the pre-work we did, right? You approved that. Can’t we just go forward? I already sent the scripts to Studio Mir, and they’re working on them. And don’t you have She-Ra to read over? And 3Below? We’re good here, y’know?
I wouldn’t do that to my bosses, but not everyone is me, though. And when you have someone on your team that devious, that manipulative that they would take a character from an anime and put it in their own story, that they were upset when they didn’t get certain allusions past legal for the D&D episode - dude, their deception is on another level.
That’s why I don’t actually trust what they say. About Hunk? About Shiro? About Acxa? I mean, why would they tell the truth to us, when they admitted to lying to their bosses?
It’s easy to be an asshole. It can be what you said you, or it can just be as easy as not opening that file after Season 2 again.
