Next up on my splatfest retrospective is the first proper splatfest of Splatoon 3: Gear vs. Grub vs. Fun.

When this splatfest was first announced, I chose team Gear because it is the smartest and most practical choice, in my opinion, and it can also technically account for the other two options.

Ceph is generally a somewhat practical person, so his reason for choosing team Gear is largely the same as mine.

Ceph's outfit for this splatfest plays off of the stuck on a deserted island idea that this theme proposes, as such it is made up of broken pieces of gear that Ceph likely took with him to the island. His hat is made of a broken umbrella, his top is a torn fishing net, and he has some rope tied around his right arm. He has also fashioned his Splatfest Tee into shorts. Ceph's weapon choice for this fest is very fitting for the team he chose, too, as Tenta Brella is probably the most useful splatoon weapon in a situation like this, as it can actually serve a purpose aside from the one it was designed for and provide you with shelter.

worst genre of media critique is the one that relies on the things internal logic like i got blazed some stupidddd post that was like actually the goblins in theharry potter and the blood libel game were doing bad things so you HAVe to kill them for the good of society! now first of all you are so termiinally stupid that i think someone should maybe kill YOU for the good of society but second of all i really feel that regardless of how much u feel jowling’s goblins relate to antisemitism and if so who was responsible for the uncomfortable implications of the game in that context and to what extent it was deliberate or unconscious  bias, you absolutely have to admit that its maybe noteworthy how much this franchise seems to depend upon stories where the major conflict is....the response of marginalised groups and individuals to their marginalisation, rather than like the fact they’re being marginalised at all

it is so much easier to justify not wanting people to play theharry potter game if you just understand the basic maxim that you shouldn't ever ever care about video games. there will always be someone who argues that harry potter is actually fine or it's actually fine to pirate such and such game but there is no counter argument to "you should stop buying video games". and you can apply it to literally anything forever into the indefinite future . you must make this belief a part of your life and make it central

Harry Potter series - Ralph Fiennes would reprise his role as Voldemort

In an interview at the New York horror comedyThe Menu premiere, that actor stated that he would play Lord Voldemort again. This is if Warner Bros. or J.K. Rowling create another installment to theHarry Potter film series.

“No question about it,” Fiennes said in an interview with Variety.

“We’re going to have a real focus on franchises,” Zaslav stated. “We haven’t had a Superman movie in 13 years. We haven’t done a Harry Potter movie in 15 years.”

According to Zaslav, DC films and the Potter series made considerable profits in the past decades.

 The Harrier: The Secret Avenger

Powers: green laser bracelet, flyable laser wings made by Tony Stark before age of Ultron, laser tail and head feathers. Night vision glasses. The abillity to make very strong healing potions from a very old recipe from her secret family in Wakanda made with green herbs (VERY HARD TO FIND). 

She is called the Secret Avenger because the Avengers want to hide her and protect her from evilness/badthings. But on her mission to Wakanda she finds the herbs, her family back, and SPOILERS LOL: her lost brother: Rick Vulcan as Molten Stone....

Molten Stone is the villain. He was secretly raised in the secret organisation Phoenix. He is the oppisite of The Harrier. Harrier is more like an angel (also a phoenix eventually) and Molten Stone more like a demon. Eventually he becomes good.

The Harrier real name: She was called Lily Clover when she lived out of Wakanda, but her real name out of Wakanda is this: Zana Terra.

Molten Stone real name: He was called Rick Vulcan in the secret organisation Phoenix but his real name out of Wakanda is this: T’ Chonsu Terra.
