Absolutely. For various reasons, artists and writers may delete their blogs. They entered a declining headspace, a lot of harassment had happened, stress/illness, or someone from their life or the site itself deleted it.
If you personally enjoy a certain post, then start reblogging to keep it on your own space.
raise a glass to the posts you love that end up deleted. to the fanart and fanfics you lose track of and can’t locate. to the blogs you used to look through that ended up unexpectedly disappearing. to the things you didn’t archive because you always assumed they’d be there.

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were the fabled gardens which adorned the capital of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, built by its greatest king Nebuchadnezzar II in around 600 B.C. The Hanging Gardens are the only one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world that may not even have existed: http://bit.ly/Babylon_HangingGardens

#pazar #sunday Asma Bahçeleri, eski Babil'in ayırt edici bir özelliğiydi. Halk için gurur kaynağıydı ve ziyaretçiler tarafından şehre yazılan metinlerde sıklıkla tarif edildi. Muhtemelen II. Kral Nebuchadnezzar tarafından M.Ö. 600 yılında inşa edilen bahçelerin inanılmaz bir mühendislik şöhreti olduğuna inanılmaktadır: her çeşit ağaç, çalı ve asmaları içeren katmanlı bahçelerin artan bir serisi. Bahçelerin şehrin merkezinden yükselen kerpiç tuğlalarla inşa edilmiş geniş yeşil bir dağa benzediği söyleniyordu. The Hanging Gardens were a distinctive feature of ancient Babylon. They were a great source of pride to the people, and were often described in accounts written by visitors to the city. Possibly built by King Nebuchadnezzar II in 600 BC, the gardens are believed to have been a remarkable feat of engineering: an ascending series of tiered gardens containing all manner of trees, shrubs, and vines. The gardens were said to have looked like a large green mountain constructed of mud bricks, rising from the center of the city. #asma #bahçe #asmabahçeleri #babilinasmabahçeleri #babil #babylon #thehanginggardens #hanginggardens #hanging #garden #gardens ##nebuchadnezzar #humbarahane #bc #mö #600 #city #şehir #agaç #çalı #tree #vine #inşaatmühendisliği #civilengineering #mimarlık #architecture

THE HANGING GARDENS
The Abbey Theatre- Dublin
16th October 2013
This play is unusual in terms of what I've seen already, because it is new; this is the first time it has had a run, and I believe that The Hanging Gardens has only been published within the last few weeks.   We were also sat within the first few rows of the stalls- somewhere I never sit because usually I can't afford it, and overall usually choose not to sit because I find that you end up looking up at the actors; nevertheless it was interesting to sit so close to the stage, particularly because of the naturalistic set which I will go on to talk about.
The Hanging Gardens, so named because the entire action of the play takes place within the garden of a Donegal family home, and whom constantly refer to their home as Babylon (the Hanging Gardens of Babylon being one of the seven wonders of the world).  The play opens with darkness on stage, the sound of rain is heard as a spot light, slowly opens on an elderly gentleman centre stage in his pyjamas.   Not only is rain heard, but it is also seen; this marks, what I believe, to be one of the best theatre openings I have seen.  It is subtle attention grabbing, allowing the eye to focus on this solitary figure in the rain, whilst alerting all the other senses- from two rows in you can not only see the rain and hear the rain, but also feel it as well as smell it as the water mixes in with plants and the front of the stage- real plants!
The play tells the story of a family, an elderly couple and their three grown up children who, for different reasons, have all come home.  The interesting aspect to this set up is that the father is suffering from some form of dementia. The text differs from comedic duologues, between the couple, which could be compared to some of the dialogue found in Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot (1953), with the fast paced back and forth, with the actual married couple mirroring the likeness of Beckett's Didi and Gogo (Knowlson, Beckett: Damned to Fame, 2004).
The Performance
The play, as mentioned previously, is naturalistic is style, and centres around the degenerating mind of the father and the families coming to terms with who he is now; whilst discussing issues with his parenting and overall the problems each of the children face.
The Hanging Gardens is well acted, although becomes more predictable as it goes on- it becomes obvious that each of the children will take their turn in coming into the garden and talking about their issues from childhood.  The actor playing the couples pregnant daughter, seems to have her hand permanently glued to her stomach as well as mentioning her pregnancy constantly throughout the play.
Overall, the play is juxtaposed between beautifully constructed dialogue, as well as poignant moments such as the opening scene, as well as part of the end sequence where the father stops singing and begins opening and closing his mouth, having forgotten the words to the song.
