i still can't process that i was driving by captain kirk himself!!! when i realized it was him as we pulled up beside him, i just stared and couldn't even say anything out of shock. i wish i could have said something funny but he was on the phone and looked back at me (honestly he looked a little annoyed lol). we made an attempt to sort of follow him but he was in his porsche and was able to lose us pretty fast!! (it was also a busy street so let me emphasize this was not as creepy as it sounds)

Don't take it to heart. That's what parents do. Mine? My mom ALWAYS said I needed to wear a girdle!! c'est la vie. (i ignored her btw)

I hear what you’re saying, it’s just not a nice thing to say imo. I already feel totally insecure about my body and I am overly aware of the way my body looks, and I hate it. They’re saying that women are only pretty when they wear make-up and that it’s non-optional, because “That’s what women do”. 

They think they’re being nice and giving me a compliment (after I put on MORE make-up) when they’re saying things like: “Look at yourself, you’re so beautiful right now! You should do this every day!”

They’re literally saying that when I’m wearing more make-up, I’m beautiful, and when I’m not, I’m not beautiful.

What you’re mother said is also not a nice thing to say, just not okay.
