#tbt 5/8/15 meet the FIRST super hero. Golden Bat . Ogan Bat isn't well known these days but he is actually the gran' pappy of all superheroes! yep! having hit the scene in 1931. I bet you thought Superman was the first, right? nope! he showed up on the pages of action comics in 1938. Golden Bat had his debut in travelling picture shows that were like picture book tours but with illustrated slides on a big screen.
