ofc I started reading your hyperspecific poll thinking those were facts about you and I thought: "she coughed petals at least once. Yeah, that's humanly possible and OF COURSE of all the people I know (I don't really) she would be the one to cough petals. How fit", just so you know

oh yeah that one's actually true though i have a lot in common with my bestie's PC, theefsa the goblin warlock. this is the reason why my lung capacity is at 70% of what it should be and why i need an inhaler actually. i don't mind much when it's like,, forget-me-not petals and other small flowers but when it's whole chunks of lily or god forbid angel's trumpets or foxglove it gets a little dicey

oof. not that well. while she will hide vulnerability / act and portray herself a certain way, she is indeed an impulsive person and her temper often gets the best of her. and try to ignore it though she might, sometimes her conscience does too!

71%. what are your character's three clearest memories?

darkness, a cramped storeroom full of boxes, cheeks hot with tears, a locked door that won't budge, her father's employees who won't - can't - open it no matter how hard she cries and pleads. later the same evening, having to smooth her voice to a perfect pitch when performing for her father's dinner guests. the moment she knew she'd never be allowed to stop performing.

a boy with dark brown hair and a charming smile, and how her heart fluttered when he officially proposed to her, how she bragged to all who would hear of their engagement - and later the moment he screamed at her he was only ever engaged to her because they were both pawns in their parents' business dealings. the dismay and shame of it; the moment she decided to leave.

darkness, a cramped mine chamber lit by the multicoloured glow of the forge of spells coursing with magic freely given by addan, theefsa and artem, all pouring into her rapier: how it felt lighter, sharper in her hand. the moment she knew, despite herself, she was one of the forgekeepers now.

now that this unofficial relatability contest for my dnd party is over, let me tell you who's who:

theefsa (goblin warlock) coughs up flower petals whenever her patron wants to pressure her into doing something - usually donating all the money she's gained to charitable causes

alexa (half-elf bard) is illiterate. she can read sheet music and sign her name, though

addan (elf druid) has tried to adopt not only giant spiders but also a massive egg from a giant turtle. note: the spiders actively tried to kill us

artem (tiefling rogue) lost his mother to bounty hunters who wanted to gain control over their cursed bloodline. he's a very emo boy about this, understandably

veldran (dragonborn fighter) is the latest addition to the group and was a mercenary minding his business before he got kidnapped to fight in the tournament the forgekeepers willingly entered

dúri (dwarf cleric) is a badass and did indeed hold off and entirely decimate a good half a dozen ghouls by himself while the rest of the group was busy
