HEY TUMBLR!!! MEET MOUSE AM!!!

My immediate thought was to base him off of a lab mouse, obviously. He probably relates to them. I also wanted a specific strain in mind so I decided on BALB/c scid because they're used in genetic research which I think is probably the closest I can get to what I want for him, additionally they tend to be neurotic and very stress-responsive and males are also very aggressive (I'm not sure about BALB/c scid specifically but I do know that male BALB/c tend to be aggressive towards other males) so I thought it would fit. BALB/c mice are some of the most common strains of laboratory mice, anyway. I decided on scid specifically because they're bred to have a compromised immune system.

I considered NOD scid, NSG, and c57bl/6, but I think BALB/c scid works.

Mouse AM, whether the mechanical version or the more realistic (but still synthetic) one, doesn't have whiskers. This is because whiskers are the most important part of a mouse in terms of sensory input! He also doesn't have a mouth. His tail is prehensile, by the way!
