Pride Month...has been quite a chaotic month. So lets see if I can get 30 books within 24 hours posted. Clearly being stuck in the garden of Eden..takes a lot of my time away from my professor duties. Day #2, The Difference Between You and Me byMadeleine George. This novel tells the story of two girls Jesse and Emily. Both characters do rely heavily on stereotypical lesbian and bisexual molds. The book does linger on the line of whether or not to be open and truthful about attractions to others. THe book also ultimately speaks to the point of letting someone go that isn’t good for you. Overall, I enjoyed this book while reading it, looking back it was a bit of an angsty book. On the side of safetly I would recommend this book for teens as the characters are in high school and there is a little bit of lip locking.
