heeeeey so i know this is late. so i know it’s not wednesday anymore. however. i have been at freshman orientation for three days and i have more tomorrow and i’m dying squirtle. so on that note, let’s do some fucking lore.

34. How are disputes withinthe clan dealt with? Do the dragons hash it out between them? Is there acouncil or central authority figure that deals with it?

dragons tend to fix their own problems, but if it’s something especially difficult they’ll take it to the courthouse on the Warden (the island that houses the government of the kingdom) and appeal to one of the judges there. If they go through three judges and still can’t come to a decision, the queen gets involved.

However, the actual Queen Serowin is very busy, so Abba (TheDancingQueen) acts as her authority.

46. In the event of atragedy, who would be the first to react? 

it generally depends on the tragedy, and where the tragedy takes place. Ivesce, Shari, and Bieren all work as what we would call “disaster relief.” they’re who you’d go to to report a missing person, they’re who would help re-home you if your home was destroyed, if there was a food shortage, that kind of thing.

If it’s more a case of “oh holy shit we’re being invaded,” Luire and Aleksas both have their respective forces with which to respond. Aleksas has “guards” (though they’re actually more like soldiers), and Luire has a group of assassins/elite fighters that deal with Witches and the like.

53. Who contributes the mostto your clan’s treasure hoard? 

the fishermen do! Sloop is the top earner right now, his ships tend to bring in half again as much as the next. the top non-fishing public business is Two-Step’s elk herd.

76. What does your clan thinkabout the other flights? Is worship of other deities permitted?

unlike my last clan, which were religious zealots, I didn’t really want this one to be super religion-based. since the kingdom is and has always been Ice-based there is an official Ice priest who handles all exaltation and religion services for the kingdom. everyone pretty much does their own thing otherwise. Greenskeeper, RoR, and Wavecrest are the biggest “foreign” holidays, but Gala is such a big deal that there’s celebrations all month.

Gala isn’t so much a religious holiday as it is the celebration of the new year and the solstice, a fresh start for all dragons and a renewal of anything worn out or old.

Here's the birthday post @dominickadw ! I can't even say how glad I am we started talking about Jackass and Viva La Bam during illuminations in Disney because that opened up the doors for us to really be friends again, and I think we are closer now then we ever really were before. Even if you stop me from working out and we end up watching 20 minute long videos of animals fighting I still love you to pieces because you have seen how crazy I am and not left me behind, no matter how loud i talk or how difficult it can be for me to just talk about the problem and calm down. I hope you know what a truly good guy you are. I also know we will always have each others backs, no matter what time of night or what crazy situations we find ourselves in from relationship problems to family problems, to really gross pizza.
