Kid Trouble
Not my main au idea but something fun. So one of the lodgers accidentally turns Henry into a little kid. At first a newly turned Henry acts timid, nervous, and afraid because he has no idea where he is or what is going on. The lodgers think that it will be easy to take care of kid Henry since adult Henry is so polite and a gentleman. That is until kid Henry is more comfortable and calm. It turns out kid Henry is like a mini Edward Hyde. Causing chaos and grief for most of the lodgers. The only people he’ll listen to are Rachel, Jasper, Virginia Ito, and surprisingly Frankenstein. It’s mainly hilarious antics performed by “The Spirit of Mad Science!” (Yes that is what kid Henry calls himself).

Experiment(s) Gone Wrong Au: Wordgirl Edition
This is an au series that I will also include in the glass scientists universe. If anyone wants to let me put their ocs or au characters in this au let me know. This au includes what if scenarios. Like for the Wordgirl universe, what if Steven's accident with the mind reading device was a lot worse than canon. This will also include ideas that if a villain or someone on the show created something that blew up in their face but very horribly. Also will include characters getting experimented on. Trigger warnings: A lot of body horror and trauma included. This will also include villain kids and experimentation. Post length will very. This is a horror and dark au. Read at your own risk. The Glass Scientists variation of this au will be on my side blog @thecountoflondonfansite

Murder AU: A Gruesome Discovery
(This au isn't canon to my Count of London au) The thief cackled to himself as he carried his stolen loot. "This should be enough to satisfy things for a while. I'm surprised the shops around here don't secure their goods better than the shops in America. Oh well, more for me." The thief exclaimed happily, licking his lips as he walked down the damp streets of London, not at all bothered by the chill of the night air. "Wait! What is this?" The thief paused in his tracks he heard someone call out. "No, stop!" What are you doing?" A voice called out again. The thief turned his head towards an dark alleyway. His head titled with confusion and morbid curiosity, trying to pinpoint where the voice was coming from. Whoever was speaking was clearly in some type of distress. Please stop! HELP! SOMEONE HELP M...AAAAAAAHHHHH!" The thief froze in terror at the person's anguished cries for rescue while someone or something sounded like they were tearing the person apart, piece by piece. Soon the screaming died down into quiet gurgling before the area became silent. The thief didn't know what just happened, but he didn't dare move. Suddenly the quiet was interrupted by the sounds of loud footsteps, rapidly stomping on damp cobblestone. The thief froze in terror again. Was the mysterious killer coming towards his direction? Would he be next? The thief could not move his legs even though his mind was screaming for him to do so. The thief listened intently as the footsteps seemed to fade away from his direction. He let his body relax bit by bit as the footsteps seemed to get further and further away until it was quiet once again. The thief then let out a relieved sigh as his body finally relaxed. The killer seemed to take another path out of the alley way. He was lucky the killer didn't run into him. Still, the thief couldn't help but wonder who had just been murdered on the streets of London since he was no where near East London, especially no near Bethel Green. Morbid Curiosity overtook the thief as he slowly walked to where he heard the murder, all the while still clutching his stolen loot. The thief then stopped in his tracks as he gazed upon a grizzly sight. His eyes widened with shock as he looked at the freshly killed corpse. There were rows of gashes on the victim's neck. The chest area looked to be sliced open numerous times. The victim's face was frozen with a permanent, expression as their mouth was opened wide. It was like they were still screaming yet the sound could no longer be produced. The thief hesitantly inched his way towards the corpse. He leaned over to examine the fatal injuries. The thief gazed intently at the body for a while before he cocked his head. "That's odd." The thief remarked to himself. "These wounds are made to almost look like a..." A shrill whistle from behind startled the thief. He swiveled his head and saw lights coming towards him followed by the sounds multiple feet running towards his location. "THIS IS THE POLICE! HALT WHOEVER GOES THERE!" "Crap!" The thief swore. He didn't want the police catching him with his stolen goods. The thief quickly straightened himself back up and proceeded to run away. "HALT, POLICE!" An officer called out as he shined his torch ahead of him. All he could catch was what looked like a creature with white fur. Unfortunately, the beast moved too quickly before the officer could get a good description, vanishing down another section of the alleyway. "Blast!" The officer grumbled angrily. He then noticed how the light of his torch had caught something lying on the ground. Curiously, the officer lowered his torch to examine the object. His expression then morphed into pure shock and horror as he gasped at the corpse. "Oh my word!" The officer shakily gazed at the face and felt his heart drop as he all too well recognized the man that had just been murdered. Apparently by a savage beast no less. @unhingedexperimenter @tgs-au

Thoughts on The Glass Scientists Volume 2 book release.
Spoilers for Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde Meet Dracula Under cut
If Rachel ever sees kid Hyde and Kid Jekyll, she is going to go into mama bear mode so quickly. I mean she was caring and protective over Edward because he looked like her brother Eli, but now. She is going to coo and fuss over kid Henry and Edward so much. A lot of mother henning from the woman. She will definitely lay the smack down on Dracula and his brides while defending and protecting the beans.

The Count of London: A "The Glass Scientists" Au
Note: So I have recently gotten into the Glass Scientists comic because of my friend Eris introducing me to it a while back. I love the creator's inclusion and use of Victorian Era characters from literature as well as their own twists on them. I wondered sometime ago about how other literary characters would fit in the Glass Scientists universe. This is where this au and a few ocs of mine comes in. Especially one that is responsible for the au's creation. The au is a combination of elements from the Count of Monte Cristo and Sweeney Todd. Disclaimer: My oc and this au are my work. "The Glass Scientists" is a webcomic created by Sage Cotugno and their team. So the au takes place in an alternate universe before the Exhibition with some changes. 1. Frankenstein knows about Henry and Edward being the same person. 2. Robert and Henry are already a couple and had their talk before. 3. I made up oc names for Henry's parents. Donovan Jekyll and Catherine Jekyll. Catherine is deceased at the present of this au. A few other ocs I have made are important to the plot. Leopold Brighton, Maxwell Travis, and Jessica Moore who are important to the au. My central oc and the main antagonist of this au is Adrian Barton. Au Plot Henry Jekyll is getting ready for the upcoming exhibition. He feels he is on top of the world. The lodgers are willing to do the exhibition. He is also in a relationship now with Robert Lanyon. Things seem to be turning bright in his time. Sure there are reported cases of a few people going missing but nothing that concerns matters of the Society...right? Unfortunately things begin to grow more strange in Henry's life. Even more strange than what Edward Hyde brings through his nightly escapades. A new figure approaches the society, in the form of a high society figure named Lord Ezekiel Dalton. Out of the blue this man expresses interests in funding the society as a patron. Of course Henry and Robert both accept this man's funding. Yet certain people can't help but sense something...off about this new patron who suddenly came out of the blue.
Soon members of high society are being targeted and killed. Scotland Yard is baffled and becoming frustrated on finding the killer. A mysterious rogue known as the Iron Count appears and takes claim for the killings. They state that this is divine retribution for the corruption and greed high society has produced that have destroyed innocent lives. Dr. Jekyll begins to secretly investigate about this mysterious Iron Count and the reasons behind the killings. What Henry will soon learn that these murders go deeper than he realizes. That it all ties back to an injustice committed years ago, and a man that has connections to Victoria Frankenstein, Henry Jekyll, Edward Hyde, and Hastie Lanyon Sr. as well as a few other (oc) characters.
Who is Lord Ezekiel Dalton and where did he come from? What are his interests with the Society for Arcane Science and its founder Henry Jekyll? What is the Iron Count's ultimate plan? This and more will be found out in posts and stories for the "Count of London"

The Count of London: Adrian Barton
The main antagonist of this au. Adrian Barton was the epitome of a mad scientist. He even had his own mad science laugh. Adrian was friends/rivals with Victoria Frankenstein. Adrian's mother died after giving birth to him. His father....he was a literal monster. Adrian ran away from home when he was 12. He has a phobia of chickens after having to spend the night in a chicken coop. As an adult, Adrian soon met his wife named Jessica Moore and they were married. Adrian was working on a formula for eternal life. He believed that this formula would not only help preserve the lifespan of dying species, but also help people medically. He believed his formula would give doctors more time to find out what is wrong with a patient and find a cure before they died. Or at least give people time to say goodbye to their loved ones. Unfortunately there were a group of men who were jealous of Adrian’s skills as well as fearful of what his “mad science” would create. They believed he was crazy to mess with life and death like this. They felt threatened by his work and progress. The leader of these four was jealous that Jessica Moore, someone he wanted to marry, was with a lower class person like Adrian. Soon they would act on these feelings of jealousy and greed.
-One day a young woman's body was found murdered in the woods. The four men weren't responsible of it but they used this opportunity to frame Adrian for the crime. They made claims that Adrian had killed the young girl for his own twisted experiments. That he used her blood and life in his eternal life formula. During Adrian's trial, they used their influence and wealth as well as connections to make sure Adrian was found guilty. Since Adrian didn't have a noble position and title (as far as they were aware) the poor man was immediately found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. Though one of the conspirators was more manipulated and somewhat forced into framing Adrian. Adrian was sadly found guilty and placed behind bars. His wife Jessica was made to marry the leader of the conspirators, the one who wanted her to marry him in the first place. This happened because of her family trying to save their reputations.
-While in prison, Adrian tried working on his formula but he never properly finished it. He drank it one day out of desperation as he feared that guards or other inmates were coming to kill him because they were paid off or something. Adrian didn't know if this was paranoia or madness making these realizations inside his brain. The formula made him immortal, but there were negative consequences as well. It made him more vampire like in his genetics. He developed a blood lust which was manageable. He also had vampire like stamina, strength, and agility. He was immune to vampire weaknesses like sunlight and holy water. He could also still eat and drink regularly like a human. With his formula Adrian escaped from prison, but discovered a devastating truth once he got out. His beloved Jessica died in childbirth and the man that caused all his pain and suffering took another wife and left for Scotland.
-Adrian Barton became a broken and wrathful man that day. He vowed to get his vengeance not only on those who wronged him, but on high society itself as he views this system the reason behind his torment and his wife's demise. He soon began his scheming and planning for 35 years. All the while he wasn't aware that the child Jessica gave birth too, a boy, wasn't his tormentor's child, but rather his own. -In the present timeline of The Glass Scientists, Adrian Barton has brown hair and green eyes. His wife Jessica had blond hair and brown eyes. Adrian has his hair pulled back into a ponytail. He was once a kind man. He was a mad scientist and impulsive, but he was also generous and friendly, willing to help others. He was also a bit mischievous and sarcastic. Now Adrian is cold blooded man. He is completely insane and only strives for blood and wrath on those who falsely imprisoned him. He has condemned all members of high society to a heinous demise as he views them all like his accusers. There is only one man Adrian has decided to spare from this horrific fate. A man who looks very similar to him and his deceased wife. Adrian seems to hold some compassionate and kindness for one of the co founders of The Society for Arcane Sciences, Dr. Henry Jekyll.

Adrian Barton: Bio Update
So I'm going to make some changes to the bio of my oc Adrian. First of all, Adrian is part werewolf part human. His father was a pure blood werewolf like Morcant. Adrian's werewolf genetics were recessive until he drank his eternal life formula. Instead of vampire abilities. Adrian gains werewolf abilities. He still consumes flesh and blood for sustenance but can control his urges. Adrian can turn his werewolf features on and off. He doesn't have a full werewolf transformation like Jasper and Morcant. His werewolf form is sort of midway. He has more canine features like pointed ears, excess hair, a dog shaped nose, wolf pads on his feet, and sharp claws, but he still looks human. Adrian's mother is the aunt of Van Helsing. Let's just say he and his cousin don't get along. I will get to Adrian's parents and their relationships later. Right now the family relationships for Adrian are complicated.

Headcanons: Adrian Barton
Adrian also has a silver tongue and a cheeky attitude towards High Society and people who make him mad. He can use his silver tongue to get himself out of trouble or manipulate people into accepting his logic and reasoning. Adrian is afraid of being put in jail again because of the trauma he went through. He would react violently if he was about to be taken to jail again. It results in grave injuries or someone dying. Inside a jail cell Adrian would curl up into a ball and tremble violently. He would also lash out if someone got too close. Adrian does have a temper but he can control it to a degree. He lets his rage and anger out as the Iron Count or towards seeing one of his former accusers. Pity the poor soul if someone dares to bring up what happened to him or mentions Jessica's name in an attempt to hurt him verbally.

You've never escaped from my sight
Walk right into my web of deceit
You chose to do wrong instead of right
The time draws near for when we meet
You won't escape from my grasp
Once someone I thought to be my friend
No different from you and an asp
Do you feel it draw near, your end?
Justice will be done, you will pay
Greed and envy had consumed your soul
It's much too late for you to pray
My life, my love and unborn child you've stole
You've never escaped from my sight
I'll see to it I accomplish my goal
High society cared not for my plight
Like a disease, you're a plague on humanity
You'll be seen as what truly are
I've lost everything including my sanity
My name, my reputation you dare mar
It matters no longer
My determination isn't expected
I'll prove persistent and stronger
Plans will go unsuspected
You've never escaped from my sight
A fly caught within my web
Far too late to see the light
My ire will never ebb
YAY! I love this so much. Adrian's revenge in verse. Perfect.

Murder Au: The Surprise Visit
Henry Jekyll put down the papers in his hand and once more glanced at the grandfather clock in his office. The hands read a quarter to 11. Henry let out a deep sigh and turned his focus back on the papers on his desk. As he was trying to focus on his work, he heard an all too familiar groan coming from the mirror near the curtains. "Would ye stop acting so morose." Edward Hyde, his other half complained. Henry gave his reflection a hard, annoyed stare. "Aren't you the one who enjoys seeing me suffer?" Henry asked with a snarky tone. "Ah only enjoy seeing ye glum when ah cause it. It's boring when there is another issue that ye are worried about." Hyde retorted as he folded his arms with a huff. Henry rolled his eyes, ignoring his counterpart as he returned back to his work. Hyde frowned at this. "Why are ye even being so gloomy? Chubby Cheeks ain't here and ye are acting like the Society's been shut down." Henry turned his head back around and gave a glare at his counterpart. "I am concerned for good reason Hyde. It's nearly been an hour and Robert still hasn't shown up for our weekly financial discussions." Robert Lanyon was supposed to meet Henry at a quarter to 10 where they would enjoy a small breakfast while discussing the future and current finances of the Society. Henry wasn't immediately worried a few minutes after Robert hadn't shown up at the agreed time. He assumed his co-found might have had a slight delay in coming here. It would sometimes happen in the busy streets of London. Henry did become increasingly worried when Robert hadn't shown up after 30 minutes. Henry did eat some of his breakfast that Rachel prepared, he then asked his day manager to stay downstairs and alert if him Robert should stop by. Rachel agreed and Henry decided to tackle some paperwork while he waited. Unfortunately it was another 30 minutes that had passed and still no sign of his cherished friend. Henry's face morphed into a frown as he abandoned his paperwork and elected to stare at the clock. "It isn't like Robert to be this late and not send some type of notice ahead to indicate a reason for his long delay." Henry said aloud. "Lanyon is probably held up because of some stupid stuffy reason or another." Hyde commented. His smile then grew wide and his face morphed into a malicious expression as a thought popped into his wicked head. "Or maybe, Chubby Cheeks got sick and tired of this place and ye. He called it quits and decided he doesn't want anything more to do with ye and the Society." Hyde cackled at his evil theory. Henry turned his head to glare hard at Edward. "Even if Robert quit, he would still have informed me beforehand. He knows how to give notice about such matters." He snapped back. "Ye didn't disagree with me there, doctor." Hyde taunted with a maddening grin. Henry was going to go back to ignoring his other half when he heard a knock on the door, surprising but not unwelcome. "Come in." Henry called out. The door opened and Rachel, the Society's cook and day manager, peered in. "Rachel. Has Robert arrived?" Henry asked, feeling hopeful. Rachel shook her head. "No. Actually, I came up here because Sergeant Brokenshire is downstairs. He says he's here on important matters." Rachel replied. Henry noticed that the young maid had a slight look of confusion on her face. He merely chalked it off to her surprise at Brokenshire's unexpected visit. "Alright. I'll be down there soon enough." Henry exclaimed. Rachel nodded and closed the door, leaving the split man alone with his other half, not that she knew. "What the bloody hell is that peeler doin er'e? Ah ain't done nothing to warrant the coppers on me back, and ye haven't let me out much since the fire." Hyde complained with anger and annoyance. Henry frowned. He too was nervous about Sergeant Brokenshire's sudden appearance. He hoped none of his lodgers were in trouble and that he wasn't here to ask more questions on the whereabouts of Edward Hyde.

"When I went to my training with Whiskers, he was in a bad mood. The reason was that WordGirl had been mistreated. He overheard that the police chief had treated her horribly over something she couldn't help." It was mostly the truth. While he wanted to tell Rachel the truth about WordGirls identity, he didn't want to incur Dr.Two-Brains wrath if he found out he knew and told the hero's secret. He trusted Rachel, but the slight fear kept him from explaining what he learned. "That's terrible! Oh, that poor girl! I would be ticked, too!" Hyde nodded, agreeing with her. "So he brought me to city hall where he went to meet his sister and make a complaint against the bastard. I met her after their meeting. I'll have to say this, she was terrifying. All three of them are. What is with that family anyway?" Rachel was surprised to hear this. "She seems like an actually good mayor. It's a shame she got stuck with an incompetent police force." Rachel shook her head in disapproval. "She gets the job done, and they have the nerve to treat her so horribly? We're lucky Amber didn't hear that, or she would be just as angry." It was true. She adored WordGirl and would've done everything she could to defend her. Rachel seemed just as upset over hearing about what happened. It made sense that she would. Rachel always had a big heart and emphasized with others. Hyde would never admit it, but that's one of the traits that he had admired in Rachel. Dr. Two-Brains couldn't keep this from Becky any longer. She deserved to know everything. Well, not the gruesome details but everything in general. "What are you talking about, dad?" She seemed worried and confused by his words. "Matthew Dunner is your grandfather. I already told you that, but Carl Woods is also your grandfather. They were together. My father, Carl Woods, specialized in the field of genetics. Though at the time, cloning was quite illegal, my father had made my siblings and I. We were cloned from both our fathers DNA. It's why your uncle, aunt and I don't have belly buttons.” The villain pulled his shirt up just enough to show his lack of a belly button. Becky seemed shocked by what her father had revealed. Her eyes were widened. “You're a clone?” Dr.Two-Brains nodded, pulling his shirt back down. “Yes.” Becky seemed confused about something. “I understand why you didn't want to tell me about Maddrix but what happened to my other grandfather?” She regretted asking her question when it looked like her father got struck. His expression was filled with such sadness and pain. “I don't speak about him because it is still painful to recall. He was taken when I was only eighteen. I don't know how but some horrible people found out about what my father had done. They had found out about me. I was with my father in the classroom where he taught at a college when something terrible happened. Those horrible people didn't like that my dad didn't entertain their idea about buying me. They tried to take me anyway. Though my father and my cousin were the reason I was able to make my escape from these horrible people. They protected me. My cousin had died helping me. He was shot by them. I couldn't stay and help. I had to leave him and my father there.” The mad scientist was starting to get emotional. Tears started to well up within his eyes. “They died there. A fire was started. That fire led to an explosion. They both didn't make it. My cousin's name was Steven Boxleitner. My uncle had allowed me to use his name so I can go undetected by those people who were after me. Your uncle Victor and your aunt Emily were both out of the house and out of the city at the time. So they weren't around when it happened. Eventually, we reunited here in Fair City. I had to tell them exactly what happened.” The poor villain was crying freely now. The tears wouldn't stop and he wasn't bothering to wipe them away.
@thecountoflondonfansite
Though someone this Miss Ito did know Henry Jekyll. Did his brother's new boyfriend get this woman to look into him? If so, why didn't this man just ask Dr.Two-Brains about himself? This raised more questions than it answered. Maybe Henry didn't have the courage to look into his brother after he gave him a little 'friendly' talk. Yet the thinly veiled threats Victor had made shouldn't have been enough to get the teacher looking into Dr.Two-Brains. There was also the fact that Henry had no idea that Victor could find out who was hacking. Perhaps the man was intelligent enough to have the heat on someone else just in case they were found out, but he didn't seem like the type to do so. Especially to someone he had entrusted The Society to. Victor was going to have to get a few agents to take a little trip to check out why they decided to hack like they did. Maybe Robert Lanyon had someone to do with Miss Itos hacking. It would be expected when the man's father had been murdered. Perhaps he wanted to make sure that Henry was safe. Maybe this man was protecting Henry from someone who was threatening him. This could've had the culprit retaliate against the doctor by going after Henry or Robert could be responsible for his own father's murder and for Mr. Carew's attempted murder. The reason both Mr. Hyde and Henry left could be because Robert was threatening one and framing the other. Victor felt a headache coming on. For now, he was going to find out exactly where Robert was. If he wanted to take over The Society, he would've easily done so. Yet he didn't, instead only oversaw important business. He couldn't scratch any of his theories out just yet. He didn't know what was going on, but he was going to find out. He didn't realize that Eris had finally gotten home. He didn't notice the sound of the apartment door opening and closing. “Victor, are you okay? You look like you're stressed about something.” He expressed his concern, brows furrowed. “Eris! I'm fine. I was just overthinking some things.” Eris went over to Victor and placed a kiss on his temple. “Get some rest, my sweet. You'll be able to figure things out better with fresh eyes.” Victor smiled at his boyfriend. “You're right. I'll take a nap. If you'll join me.” Eris smiled at that. He found Victor endearing. The toymaker closed his laptop. Meanwhile in another part of the city, two people were arguing. “Must you stalk these people? I would rather not have the police sniffing around if they take legal action.” The woman shook her head. “It is necessary. I must save that girl from that horrid man. Who knows what he could do to them. I'm doing what is right.” The blond man shook his head. “You admitted that you were interested in our plan.” Calvin frowned at that. “I didn't do anything too crazy. I promise.” Athena muttered under her breath. Athena began to pace a bit. She wanted Dr.Two-Brains to break and admit who he is. “You're making me dizzy, cousin.”
Athena gave a weak glare towards Calvin's rudeness. "You know I can't help it. I haven't been the same after what that demon did to me!" Athena snapped back. Calvin merely huffed. Deep down, he couldn't help but feel some intimidation from the mouse man, especially when he knew what that abomination was capable of. At first, Calvin was shocked to hear what the man did to his cousin. He had always viewed Steven, or Gene, or whatever it called himself, as a sniveling worm with goody moral ethics. He never thought that the man was capable of doing something that heinous, even with his paternal instincts heightened. Things made much more sense to Calvin once he learned of his former coworker's family background. "Very well. Continue with your plans. I have other matters to attend to." Calvin exclaimed in a haughty tone, waving off Athena's anger. Athena gave him a suspicious look. "What are you planning that is more important than my mission?" She inquired. "Well why you have been playing vigilante stalker to a babysitter and her charge, I have been looking into the reason for the Mad Science League's sudden movement here." Calvin explained. Athena looked surprised at that. "Adrian Barton is here?" The B.E.A.W labs' leader has expressed interest in the mysterious Mad Science League. A small group of scientists lead by a self proclaimed immortal man whose made it his mission to fight against tyranny and corruption of the higher classes. Adrian Barton and his associates had proven too slippery for capture due to the man's chaotic and unpredictable movements. Athena was curious and confused as to why he came here of all places. "We don't know why he is here or what business he has, but for some reason he has made himself more open in public though he has maintained a cautious guard. I last saw him talking with Professor Doohickey, though I highly doubt the reason he came to this city was to help the man's predicament." Calvin answered as if he seemed to understand what his cousin was thinking. "Do you think it has something to do with the murder of Mr. Hastie Lanyon?" Athena asked as she recalled hearing about the murder. Calvin shook his head. "I doubt Barton was behind that. He has a clear hatred for the rich and elite, but he would have been more subtle in killing that man, actually making it look like a robbery in progress that went bad. There is another reason why Mr. Barton is here. One in which I intend to find out. So hopefully your antics won't interfere in my mission. Good day Athena." Soon Calvin walked away, leaving the deranged woman to her own thoughts and delusions. "Blimey! Those cleaners know how to clean out goop stains. It looks brand new." Hyde exclaimed in a joyous tone once he received his outfit from Rachel. "Yep. It appears people getting their clothes ruined by goop is a common occurrence around here. So they developed a new way to remove the stains and residue even thought it takes a lot of time. It's definitely well worth it. I must say." Rachel replied with agreement. Hyde ginned widely at his clean outfit. He then looked back towards Rachel. "So, anything happened while ah was gone?" Hyde inquired. Rachel quickly shook her head. "Not really. Like I said, we waited a long time at the cleaners. Also Wordgirl showed up trying to stop a robbery caused by Lady Redundant Woman. She gave a wave to Amber before she flew off. Amber got a little fussy on the way home, but it was likely due to us being out for so long. She's fine now." Rachel explained. Hyde nodded but the usually grinning blonde had a serious expression as he thought back to what happened and what Whiskers admitted to him. "Did Wordgirl seem okay to ye?" Hyde inquired. Rachel looked confused by his question and expression. "She seemed alright to me. Why do you ask?" Rachel was surprised to hear Hyde express genuine concern for anyone that wasn't Amber, herself, or one of the lodgers. Hyde let out a sigh and proceeded to explain what happened today with Two Brains and his sister. @unhingedexperimenter

"What?" Dr.Two-Brains was just as taken by surprise as Becky was when she saw Amber wearing that necklace she was never able to recover from Mr. Hyde. "I saw Amber wearing the necklace Hyde had stolen. I recognized it. Either Dr. Jekyll is lying about cutting off contact from Mr. Hyde or Mr. Hyde is sneaking behind Dr. Jekyll's back and sees Amber without his knowledge. Either way, I don't like this. I've been thinking of this as well." Dr.Two-Brains was silently thinking over what Becky had told him. Henry told Robert that he wasn't in contact with Hyde. He did seem a bit nervous and cagey. The mad scientist honestly wants to give Henry the benefit of the doubt. Strangely, he also wanted to give Mr. Hyde the benefit of the doubt as well. After all that trouble he went through. “You are sure it's the same necklace?” Dr.Two-Brains gently asked. Becky frowned and nodded her head. “Yes, it's the very same necklace. It's also been bothering me. I don't want to accuse Dr. Jekyll of lying. Maybe Mr. Hyde secretly has been seeing Amber behind his back.” Dr.Two-Brains went silent for a moment. Many thoughts going through his mind. His mentee seemed to have cared for Amber. He seemed fond of the young girl when he spoke about babysitting her. Perhaps that would also be the reason he was extremely cagey about why he came to Fair City. Because of Amber. Though why go such lengths to cover up the fact that he cares for another person that wasn't himself? There must've been more to the situation than that. He would have to deal with that issue later on. “Thank you for telling me about that. I appreciate you bringing that to my attention, I really do.” The way she seemed hesitant to ask him about Mr. Hyde had him feeling pangs of guilt even more now. He never wanted to make her fear asking him anything. It just had to be that one touchy subject he couldn't handle himself. “Becky, look. About before. I really am sorry about how I reacted.” She frowned at that, guilt clear in her eyes. Aw geez. She still felt bad over it. “You had no idea about what happened. With Maddrix. I knew you would have asked about him sooner or later. I just wasn't expecting it to be so soon. I had done some deep thinking. You deserve to know the truth.” The mad scientist took a deep breath. Just as he was going to spill it all out for Becky, the girl stopped him with a simple gesture. A tight hug. Well, as tight as she could without risking him any injury. “Dad, I'm sorry for pushing the subject. I know I'm ready to be told but you're not ready to tell. I understand that now. I had no idea how personal it was.” The villain felt tears sting at his eyes at that. “Hey! I'm the adult here, kiddo. I should be comforting you instead of the other way around.” Becky continued to hold onto her father. “Yeah but I know Squeaky doesn't make things any easier on you.” That made him feel worse about the situation. Squeaky wasn't the one influencing him at all during that. If anything, the mouse brain left that alone. Knowing just how he got when it came to Maddrix the malicious. “You were curious. That I understand all too well, Becky. You don't like being kept in the dark either. I should have expected that but..” Becky pulled from the hug and gave him a sympathetic expression. “I know you reacted that way because of how you felt. I'm not holding anything against you dad. I still feel terrible for bringing up such a terrible memory.” She forgave him for his reaction so easily. It didn't ease the guilt he felt at all. “You don't have to feel bad about it still. You had no idea about what happened as I said.” Becky frowned. “Then you shouldn't keep feeling terrible about your perfectly normal reaction to something so traumatic.” It always caught him off guard when she would be understanding like this.

(You can tag me on my tgs side blog. I also apologize but I know a few Scottish words. So to anyone reading this I apologize for the inaccuracy.) Becky Boxleitner noticed a change in the atmosphere as she and her pet monkey Bob walked into the sixth grade classroom. All of the students were excitedly chatting with one another. Becky and Bob exchanged confused looks at the scene. 'What is going on?' They both thought. Becky walked to where her friends Violet Heaslip, Rose Franklin, and Todd Scoops Ming were sitting, also joining in the excited yet low volume chattering. "Hey guys what's going on?" Becky asked her friends. They each turned their heads to greet their friend. "Hey Becky guess what, we're getting a new teacher for our class!" Scoops exclaimed. Becky looked surprised at the announcement. Bob also mimicked her facial expression. "Wait really? What happened to Miss Davis?" Becky asked, wondering what happened to their old teacher. It was just a week only into the new school year so a sudden teacher exchange was a complete shock to Becky especially since there were no announcements about it beforehand. "Miss Davis had to move back home because of a family emergency." Rose Franklin answered. "The principal had to scramble to find a new teacher to fill in for our class. It was all last minute stuff." Becky nodded in understanding of her friends' answers. It was a nice perk to be friends who were upcoming reporters. Soon the final bell rang which indicated for every student to take their seats. Becky took her place beside her best friend Violet and Bob plopped down next to her. Soon a man who looked to be in his mid 30s walked in and towards the desk. He had curly brown air, an arched nose, and reddish brown eyes. He wore a tan button-down shirt with a red vest as well as brown slacks and dark suede shoes. The man gave a pleasant and warm smile to all the students there. "Hello my name is Dr. Henry Jekyll and I will be your teacher for the school year." Becky and the other kids ears perked up as they took note of the man's accent. Even Tobey became slightly interested in his new teacher. None of them were sure where their new teacher was from. Dr. Jekyll gave a light chuckle as if he could sense their growing curiosity about him. He lightly clapped his hands together to gain their undivided attention and focus. "Well since this is my first time teaching here, why don't we all play a little game so we can all get better acquainted with each other. Here's what to do. One at a time, say your name and share a wee bit about yourself. Likes, family, interests and all that. I'll go first to show ya what ah mean. Again. My name is Dr. Henry Jekyll. I was born in Glasgow but ah moved to London where I attended university. I have a five year old wee lassie or daughter named Amber. I enjoy chemistry and reading on occasions. Now who would like to go next?" @unhingedexperimenter
Of course Tobey had taken the opportunity to place attention on himself and to have a reason to boast about himself. “My name is Tobey McCallister the third and I will be the most intelligent student you'll meet here.” The others had rolled their eyes, used to this kind of behavior from their peers. Becky seemed to be the most annoyed by it. Having been forced to put up with his destructive tantrums in the past. Henry smiled just as warmly as before. Unbothered by the obnoxious behavior that the boy had been displaying. Tobey had been going on about himself for a good few minutes before the teacher finally spoke up. “Ahem, yes. Thank you for that Mr. McCallister. Would anyone else like to tell me a bit about themselves as well?” No one could tell that behind the facade, Dr. Henry Jekyll was becoming more irritated by the moment. Not by the child but by the pest that refused to leave him be. Scoffing within his head at what they just heard. He didn't share the disembodied voice's opinion but wanted to give the other children a chance to introduce themselves as well. To the others' shock, Tobey seemed to have taken this well. Quickly going back to his desk with no issues. Becky was relieved at that. Soon the other children had started to introduce themselves to their new teacher with little to no issues. He seemed genuinely nice enough to her. This new teacher didn't seem like most of the adults within this city. Some she had to define words repeatedly for. Dr. Jekyll knew what he was teaching and knew his vocabulary. It was Violet who had brought Becky out from her own thoughts, calling her name. Waving a hand in front of her face. “Becky?” The girl smiled in an embarrassed manner. “Huh? Yes?” Violet smiled, patient with her best friend. “Why don't you introduce yourself now? Nearly everybody else already did.” She had given a surprised expression. Becky hadn't realized that she was so lost within her thoughts until then. She stood up and began speaking. “My name is Becky Boxleitner and I also like libraries, reading and Pretty Princess.” The presence that was grating at the teacher's nerves had deemed this too dull to enjoy. Leaving Dr. Jekyll be to his teaching. Well, getting to know his students. He was happy to see that they were engaged in these activities that were meant to break the ice. Though one student in particular had caught his attention the most. Becky. While she did seem rather bright, there was something strange about her behavior at times. Pausing whatever she was doing at the time to listen in on something. Thinking it went unnoticed. Even once looking alarmed and she made an excuse to go to the bathroom. He had allowed it. Feeling that it would've been better to have let her. It seemed…oddly familiar. As if he had seen that behavior somewhere before but couldn't figure out exactly where from. When the school day was finally over, Becky had gone to go home like the others. Dr. Jekyll had of course stayed behind to set more things up within his new classroom. Making a plan on exactly what he'll actually start teaching the next day. Though, the grating voice had returned to be a thorn in his side. “Come on. Leave this boring stuff alone. Leave it until tomorrow. I've been pent up for far too long. Let's have some fun.” This had earned an eye roll and a loud huff from the teacher. “No, I've got to get this done now. You will have enough time tonight. Just be patient until then.” A shadowy figure formed in front of Dr. Jekyll. A frown on its face. “But this is so extremely dull. I want to stretch my legs. I want to make myself known already.” Dr. Jekyll glared. “And that is precisely why I'm so hesitant to let you out so soon. At least let us get acclimated to our surroundings first.” The figure let out an annoyed groan. “You know you want this as much as I do. Otherwise you'd never have any actual fun in the sad and pathetic life you call yours.”

"Aww, he likes you." Zosi sniffed at Dr.Two-Brains one last time before giving small bark at the mad scientist, wagging his tail. "I think he wants you to pet him." The villain seemed to be hesitant on doing so, but he slowly reached down and petted at his head. The church grim seemed pleased with this, going off back to Amber. Though Zosi kept giving him curious glances, not fully taking his attention off of Dr.Two-Brains. It felt strange to be watched so intently. "Uh, yeah. He's very cute. Oh, did you need more time to get ready?" Henry should his head. "I'm ready to go. Of course." Meanwhile, back at the elementary school, Gabriel had been thinking over the information he learned. It greatly troubled him. What was he going to do? What could he tell Henry? The man had been through a great ordeal. Yet he couldn't keep it s secret. The commotion that cause the building to shake had finally calmed. He hoped that people were safe and unharmed from what happened. He stared out of the window, seeing something in the sky zoom. He couldn't tell what it was, but it was extremely fast. Just what kind of city did his friend move to?

Henry felt devastated for his oldest friend. "That's absolutely horrible. I can't possibly imagine what Robert is going through. Even though he had issues with his father, this would no doubt affect him greatly.” His heart ached for Robert. Having lost his father due to a murder. Who could've done that? Was it the same person who attempted to kill Mr. Danvers Carew with the fire which Hyde got framed for? “You said it seemed personal. Why do you say that, old friend?” The lawyer took a moment to answer. “The murder was grisly and there wasn't anything stolen from the crime scene. It sounded more than just a robbery gone wrong. If it was truly that, expensive items would've been missing yet it all remained. I'm honestly shocked that Robert never told you. You two were always so close. Practically inseparable from college.” Henry looked visibly uncomfortable and solemn due to what his friend had said. “Thank you for telling me this. I do hope Robert will tell me about this on his own time. I won't force him or rush him.” Gabriel nodded at that. “Are you going to tell him?” The teacher seemed hesitant to answer that. “I will, once he has his own problems sorted. I would rather not add onto his problems with my own.” While it was true, Henry also didn't want to make things more complicated for Robert. He knew that his best friend had HJ7 and possibly could have ingested it. Leading to his own soul being split. It would only stress him out which could lead to his possible version of Hyde to get better control over him. It would only serve as ammo Robert's counterpart could use against him. “That is quite understandable. You two have been through a lot. Also considering the incident with your former employee. Mr. Hyde. It's been so stressful for both of you.” Hyde felt nervous whenever Gabriel would mention him. It felt like he could so easily uncover who he truly was to Henry. It was why he never appeared around him either. It's not that they didn't trust him. Not at all. As crazy as Hyde thought he was, he didn't want to possibly lose a friend he technically never met. He actually liked Gabriel and knew that the lies Henry kept would hurt the man deeply. It was a shared fear between Henry and Edward. “Thank you for understanding that, Gabriel. Also thank you for helping me.” Gabriel offered him a warm smile. “Of course. I would do anything for my dearest friends.” It troubled Henry. Why didn't Robert say anything about his father? Yet again, Robert did keep it a secret that he had a vial of HJ7 too. Becky looked confused, she had known about the murder of Dr. Lanyons father before he did. She was sure he would've known. Before the young girl could think about it further, she heard a voice calling for her. It was her uncle's voice. She listened to him calling, luckily Gabriel was too occupied with Henry to notice that. She went over to her father and tugged at his sleeve. Making Dr.Two-Brains lean over so she could whisper into his ear. “Dad, Uncle Alan is calling me. It sounds really urgent, I'll be back as soon as possible.” The mad scientist seemed reluctant to let her leave but nodded. “Alright, please don't take too long. Be careful.” With that said, Becky left. The moment she was alone, checking to make sure it was safe, Becky transformed and flew straight to Alan's and Hugh's apartment. She wondered why he called for her instead of going there himself. It must've been something serious. When she arrived, Becky went to the apartment she knew they resided in. Giving the door a couple of knocks before it was answered by Alan. Behind him were the other three of the four. “Uncle Alan? What are the others doing here?” His expression remained stoic. “We wanted to tell you something. We need you to tell your dad to turn his phone on. We have urgent information to tell him. Something has happened. We need to tell him what as well as the information we gained from it.”
Becky looked alarmed at what her uncle had just said. "Does it have something to do with Dr. Barriton?" Becky inquired as she remembered her dad telling her about the blonde scientist. Becky never really met him since the guy was fired when she was a baby. Her dad did describe him as an absolute narcissus and prick who was Athena's cousin. Becky didn't hold it against anyone to be related to that psycho woman since her twin brother Eris was a good person. She held the man's character and lack of morals against him. Alan shook his head. "No, it wasn't Calvin. Have you heard any of the adults speak of a Lucian Bennett?" Alan asked his niece. Becky pondered the question a bit and shook her head. "Not really, no." She answered. "Who is he?" The four looked at each other, not really sure how to explain. Hugh decided to speak about the man and his encounter to a degree. "We are not entirely sure who Lucian is as a person, but we know he is like Edward Hyde. By that, I mean he is the counterpart of someone who took the HJ7 formula." Becky's eyes widened at Hugh's explanation. There was someone out there who had their own Mr. Hyde! "Does Dr. Jekyll know about Lucian?" Becky asked in an urgent tone. The others gave a nod. "Yeah, he is aware of Lucian. He is also aware of the man having his own variation of the HJ7 formula though he isn't entirely sure how it is possible." Jenkins explained. "Listen, Becky. We really need to get in touch with your dad. It's difficult to explain but Lucian had nearly gotten physical with Hugh. We need to tell your dad what we know and what happened. Alan couldn't fly to Henry's house since it would have caused some alarm and we know the others are still recovering from Athena's attack. That is why he contacted you." Patricia explained in a serious tone. Becky nodded as she understood the gravity of the situation. "Okay, I'll get my dad." The heroine then took off back to Dr. Jekyll's apartment. "Where did your daughter run off too?" Gabriel asked. "Oh, she remembered she had to go outside and call her uncle Alan and let him know she couldn't spend the night at his and Hugh's home this Friday since personal things came up." Dr Two Brains quickly explained. Utterson looked surprised at the response. "She had to take her phone call outside." The lawyer exclaimed with a slightly suspicious tone. Two Brains internally panicked. 'Why can't this guy be as dumb as the rest of the civilians in this city.' "Oh well it was special bonding family thing they had this weekend though Becky is no longer feeling up to it. She and her uncle Alan have unique traditions that are not meant for other ears to hear. It shouldn't take to long for Becky to speak with Alan." Two Brains exclaimed. Henry seemed to catch onto the hidden meaning of his boyfriends' words and decided to help cover for him. "It's a strange but endearing characteristic that my boyfriend's family has. They like to keep their personal businesses private, even if it is just regular, family matters." Henry added. Gabriel looked a bit confused but quickly shook it off for now. "If you say so, Henry." He then turned to Dr. Two Brains. "So your brother is dating Dr. Mann?" Gabriel asked Two Brains shook his head. "No, Alan is dating Hugh, but he isn't my brother. He is technically my brother-in-law. He is Becky's mom's sibling." The mad scientist corrected. In what seemed to be a short amount of time, Becky returned inside. "Hey, kiddo. How did your talk with Uncle Alan go on the phone?" Dr. Two Brains inquired. Becky greeted her dad with a smile but Two Brains and Henry could tell that it was faked. "It went well, but he wanted me to let you know to turn on your phone. Hugh and the other four have been trying to reach you and see how you were doing." Becky respond. Two Brains looked embarrassed and quickly pulled out his phone to turn it on. His eyes widened as he saw the missed calls. "Oops. Sorry. I turned my phone off because I was having a conversation with Henry and didn't want to be disturbed." Two Brains exclaimed. @unhingedexperimenter
