My tarot project has a design for the backs, and a name at last: The Cottonwood Tarot. Cottonwoods grow abundantly in my marshy homeland. I’ve long had a connection with the trees that grow in my parents’ backyard, and can’t help but smile every time I pass them somewhere. They symbolize hope, transformation, and our connection to both the earth and the stars. If you listen closely, they sound as though they are whispering even on still days. If you’re able to listen closer still, you might just find answers in the gentle rustling of their leaves.
