MONDAY MATINEE MUSIC VIDEO “My Name is Love” by The Casuals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj_RYC-cZGU …Released as a single in 1970, this song describes a conflict between a man’s love and a woman who’d rather have “things.” The Casuals are best known for their 1968 UK hit, "Jessamine," and they worked as a band from 1961 to 1976. They are cited as early champions of the "power ballad" style of pop song—though they also played straight up rock'n'roll, baroque pop, and even dabbled in disco. Their fan base reached the UK and Europe (especially Italy). Paul Weller said they are one of his favorite bands. "My Name is Love” was produced by the legendary Ivor Raymonde, best known for arranging and producing Dusty Springfield's classic sides of the 1960s (Ivor’s resume included Ian Dury, Julio Iglesias, Los Bravos, Alan Price, and The Walker Brothers). This single was promoted around the world and is a great sample of Chris’s prolific songwriting. It was co-written with Steve Colyer (David Essex) and Pete Swettenham (Cockney Rebel, Grapefruit).

We’re a little late this week, sincere apologies! We’ve had a lot going on. Without further ado, we present all the juicy wedding news that trended last week. Last week was all about two huge weddings – one in Nigeria and another in the US. Any guesses??? Let’s kick this off.

Nigerian designer, Yomi Casual got married to Grace. Their wedding was all shades of beautiful; from the groom and groomsmen to the bride’s lovely gown from BridesnMore to their lovely outdoor wedding ceremony, see snippets of what we loved from #TheCasuals17.

If you didn’t know Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir got married on the 17th of October, 2017, then we don’t know where you’ve been living for the past few days. #TheManeUnion totally shut down the internet. Their all white themed wedding cost a whopping $1.7million and got 2.2million views on BET.

We spotted this customised veil on photographer, Adebayo Deru’s page on Instagram. We absolutely love it and would love to see more brides rock this trend.

This video by Special Functions got us grabbing tissues. The bride’s dad who couldn’t attend the wedding due to his ill health sent in a note to his daughter. Watch below;
