((I think the better question is if Aquaman can speak to fresh water creatures or if it's only salt-water dwelling creatures?? Sorry I saw your reblog and the question popped into my head. It would make sense if he could because they are all aquatic in nature but at the same time they come from a completely different water biome. So maybe not. Has this question been answered in the comics? Can Aquaman breath in fresh water? Cause normally salt water fish do poorly in fresh water habitats.... ))

yes, aquaman can breathe in all sorts of water, the only water he can’t breathe in is the   ‘ strange water ’   which is alien in its components, it comes from a different planet entirely. we rarely see arthur in fresh water, but so far it seems fairly evident he can command most creatures that live in some form of water with his telepathy.

Yeah it was definitely a security alarm going off. Entering the shadows, Robin watched and waited for the intruder to make their presence known.

Shadow sighed softly as she stood at the end of the alley. Three sleepless nights in a row and she just wanted to call back into bed and leave the crime fighting to the bat.

J’amzz maneuvered his way through the crowd with ease, mostly remaining distinctively solid, a few times going intangible as someone almost rammed into him. Crowds were easy, and he was like water flowing over rocks in them. He finally reached his destination. The park, and he wandered into it, and spotted a kid, who, like looking like she knew what she was doing, radiated an overall empathetic impression of being lost.

There was no way anyone in sane mind would be careless enough to wander into an abandoned factory as the darkness settled over a city such as this. At the though of any rebels or vigilantes who would dare venture into places such as this filled him with agitation. His work could be ruined be either or and he had no time for games or fights as he was nearing his work to a perfect formula at last. Reaching out to his guards over a closed off radio frequency he spoke,

"An intruder may be on the premises. Or an escapee. If it is the first, do not kill them. I will want to see what my newest formula can do to a fresh mind. If it is the latter, then do as you wish to them before dragging them back into their chambers. Show them where they belong, for they have lost their way.”

He proceeded to make his own rounds to be certain. Hired work tend to be lazy regardless of their pay and could ruin everything he has worked for.

I’m not sure how our characters would meet. / I’m super anxious about EVERYTHING

                  Haha, that’s okay! I understand--it can be a bit daunting to approach people, and I’m sure that doesn’t help when you can’t think of something. As far as meeting goes, that would be actually pretty easy--if you don’t mind putting your character in beyond verse, then they could meet as kids seeing as Terry was on the streets for a while, or if you’d prefer modern, I have a similar set up, but that Terry is a Cadmus clone; still ending up on the street though. So either way we could have them meet up fairly simply, if you’d like to go that route :D. If I’m not wrong, i believe i owe you a starter anyway.
