OC made a slug friend, and then they were offered a contract to strengthen the friendship

OC was wounded and needed healing, a passerby slug healed them, and theboc bothered the slug for healing until they made a contract that would benefit the slug too

OC made a slug contracted teacher who taught the OC to summon them

OC liked slugs, sought them out, and befriended them to get a contract.

Any reason is a good reason, because it is your OC.

                                                  teeth  clench  hard  until  her  jaw  is  sore,   but  the  pain  is  almost  a  relief,   a  distraction.   the  hatred  she  feels  for  Lady  Eboshi  is  enough  to  make  her  blood  boil,   and  she  wants  for  nothing  more  than  to  race  across  that  stream  and  thrust  her  blade  deep  in  the  evil  woman’s  heart.

     Coming to the Inquisition was not something she had planned to do. It had not been something she’d wanted. However, blood debts must be paid, and she was one to pay her debts. A debt to this Lace Harding, became a debt to her Inquisitor. To this Inquisition. To see so many Low-landers, so many things that were not like she, it very nearly revolted the Avvar.     Now, this Inquisitor spoke words to her in Low-land tongue. As if familiar. She had, only moments before been set upon by others of her kin. Avvar, following a mad child, aiming to kill the Inquisitor and thus, the Inquisition. Men and women that were supposed to be brothers and sisters. They had set upon this one, blades bared from shadow and set upon death. They did not know she was there. They did not suspect. She was the hunter, The Stalker. The Long Arm of the Avvar. And this arm had found their throats before they could do harm to her charge. 

      She looked to the Inquisitor, thick, violent emotion in her eyes. ‘I could do nothing else, Sannhetssøker. I owe a blood debt. They were... fools. Following a fool. Even still. They deserve better than this. I will remain, and prepare them for burial. Leave.’
