The Backseat Lovers couldn’t have seemed happier on November 16th, 2021 in London. Making their international debut, this show marked a huge milestone in the band’s career and the sold-out crowd offered a roaring welcome to the UK. Under the glittering gold ceiling of the Moth Club, the band shone. Entering the stage, the four Utah natives immediately started with a long instrumental intro before launching into Just a Boy. The intensity with which they began the show was juxtaposed almost immediately after with huge smiles from the bandmates. Lead vocalist Josh Harmon was visibly overwhelmed by the reception as he remarked that “We are losing our marbles. This is crazy!”. There was a clash as he performed with piercing stares and then broke into giddy smiles all night that somehow just worked.
