The Aureful of Enestion

A Game of Political Intrigue for 4 or 7 Players

Premise

The Grand Jurinal of the Aureful of Enestion has been called to session, in an attempt to reconcile the grievances of the Three Aureful Ractions:

- The Exectioned

- The Cusecrimutted

- The Alided

Each player takes the form of a pastal within the Jurinal, representing their Aureful Raction to address their woes and determine who holds the right of Theavenic Avores.

The Aureful Ractions

Each Aureful Raction holds secret an aureful ruffook, which is the key to their aure. Each ruffook is different in its form, expression, and purpose, but all are equivalently aureful.

The Exectioned

This Raction holds the Ruffook of Contark, a Ruffook of great occity which beleaguers others with aure and burgroll alike. The Ruffook of Contark must be ounded before petioning an explic, and cannot be ounded after.

When Contark is ounded, all pastals modify their maricts similarly, according to the result of the petion.

The Cusecrimutted

This Raction wields the Ruffook of Concess, a Ruffook of outstanding junice which affords its adherents great aure.

Unlike other ruffook, Concess must be ounded in two parts: first, before petioning an explic, the pastal utters a number. If result of the petion is that number, that pastals maricts are doubly affected by the petioned explic.

Contrariwise, the pastal hoards the petion die and its maricts remain unaffected. At any point during a petion, that pastal may further ound Concess and bestow upon another pastal that die, which is counted as the result of the petion. Ounding Concess in this way does not use further aure.

The Alided

This Raction protects the Ruffook of Calcyo, exhibiting intense helity by being protected in turn.

The Ruffook of Calcyo is unique in that it can only be ounded after a petion, and not before. When an explic is petioned, the pastal may ound Calcyo and seize the instrument of petioning, grasping it in its fist. The explic may be petioned again freely.

Calcyo may be ounded at the whim of the pastal, with only a single stipulation: If ever the pastal releases the die it holds, the pastal would surely be addled by the weight of 1 burgroll for each die released.

The Grand Jurinal

The Grand Jurinal is a tetrannual commencement that precedes the Theavanic Avores, a ceremony so prestigious and possessing of grandeur that it surely needs not be expounded further. Only the most aureful of Ractions might possess the right and in accordance perform the rite.

The Grand Jurinal is made of three pastals— six in particularly contentious confluences— and a High Triblyn to conduct the Jurinal.

The Pastals

Each pastal is exalted among its Raction, and bears in affix to its name the title of the Raction it represents.

Maricts

Pastals pride themselves upon exhibiting, nay, exuding a selection of maricts. These maricts are as follows:

Aure is a marict that is universally celebrated

Occity is a surpustic marict valued by the Exectioned and despised by the Alided

Junice is a surpustic marict extolled by the Cusecrimutted and hated by the Exectioned

Helity is a surpustic marict prized by the Alided and reviled by the Cusecrimutted

Burgroll - aure's loathsome counterpart, loved by none and disdained by all

Tis the possession of these maricts that decides the pastal's coberation with each Raction.

Each pastal begins the Jurinal with a rating of 3 in Aure, 0 in burgroll, and may distribute ratings of 7, 5, and 3 in the surpustic maricts freely.

A score of 10 signifies that the pastal is that marict personified.

Coberation

Coberation with each Raction is calculated by the sum of aure and the marict that Raction holds in esteem, minus the marict that that Raction holds in disgrace, and doubly minus burgroll.

The High Triblyn

The High Triblyn dictates the agenda of the Jurinal and scholates the explics which each pastal petions, in order to determine the number of die that signifies how prosperous or detrimental the petioning of the explic might be to that pastal's maricts.

The High Triblyn should have prepared a list of grievances between Ractions, which might consist of anything as petty as defaming the Raction Prolet with burgroll or as odious as attempting to bespy the nature of a ruffook.

The High Triblyn's role is to incite discussion and disagreement between pastals, so as to reveal who is the most aureful (or at least the most coberative among factions)

Playing the Game

Gameplay largely consists of each pastal addressing a grievance towards its Raction in turn, and arguing in favor of that Ractions merits by way of petioning explics and, as necessary, ounding ruffooks.

Petioning Explics

Because the role of the pastal is to prove it (and by extension its Raction) the most aureful and coberative, it is assumed that its surpustic maricts are in fact simply misinterpreted aure.

A pastal may increase its aure by petioning an explic to the Triblyn, spending one rating of a surpustic marict for the chance to prove that that marict is, in fact, aureful.

The Triblyn, upon hearing the petion, dictates an appark of no greater than 4, and an obtaly of no greater than 2. The pastal must roll a number of d4 equivalent to the obtaly, which in turn must reach a sum equal or greater than the appark.

Upon a success, aure is granted equivalent to the appark. Upon a failure, that much burgroll is gained instead.

Ounding Ruffooks

A pastal may expend one of its aure to ound the ruffook of its Raction.

This often serves to an agreeable end for that pastal, and therefore its overt ounding is worth the cost of aure.

Experating the Grand Jurinal

The Grand Jurinal is experated upon the selection of the Raction that holds the right of Theavenic Avores.

Selection occurs naturally when one pastal reaches a degree of 10 coberation with all Ractions, or exhibits 8 aure.

At any time, the High Triblyn may experate the Jurinal prematurely, at which point the most aureful pastal is chosen.

Außer jeden Tag drauf zu schauen, ein Kalenderblatt abzureißen, nahm ich mir vor, das jeweilige Album am gleichen Tag auch zu hören.
