I hope this is ok!

It wasn't at all hard to tell Edric was upset. His usual bravado was missingwhen he spoke and especially when he had to cast spells. It was so pitiful that the teacher suggested he stop practicing early to work on homework.

Noticing this, Mathew cast an allusion of a note on the desk. "Want to talk about it at lunch?" It seemed to take Edric a minute to figure out what he meant, but when he did he looked across the room at Mathew and nodded.

After grabbing food, Mathew led Edric to an empty hallway and sat down beside the lockers. "What's wrong, dear?"

Edric leaned into Mathew, poking at his food. "Emira told me her worst fear."

"Oh?"

"Turns out, it's being stuck with me forever!" His voice broke, and Mathew froze.

"She what?" There was a part of Mathew that wanted to stand up and confront Emira right then, but Edric needed him. "Honey, look at me." Edric sat up, tears in his eyes. "My greatest fear is being without you. You are amazing, and there is no stuck when it comes to you. I'm so sorry Emira said that, she was being stupid and mean and she was wrong."

Alright! I'm just gonna say it and hope I don't get hurt. A few of other people's otps are my Brotps. Like I think it would work better as siblings who while loving each other will clown each other without fail. Like The mlb love square ,an older bug sibling dealing with her younger cat sibling. I would watch a series about that instead of what we got! Along with a better writer and SuperMartin, in my rewrite their each other's annoying sibling who will die for each other! Like there are more of male -female friendships please. The characters are fine if off but putting them in a relationship was a bad call writers. Especially how you handled it
