I’ve been working in this art piece and colors are coming ok. I am having fun painting the Johnson Street bridge. In this small painting I want to create a nostalgic mood and also capture an intense like coming through the iron beams and reflected on the water. I want to depict this light as a remind of the people workin in the new bridge. I am not sure the type of light. Probably welding light or a reflector light. This piece is 12” x 9” oil on canvas. I do not know what to say. A person insist to buy this art piece as it is. For me is not done. He want it as it is, he doesn’t mind if it is not signed. He saw beauty in it , I have difficult in letting go as it is but I believe in this person since he is the president of an art organisation and he also collects art. The piece is still wet and he purchased the piece with the condition that I won’t change it or add more strokes. Art and aesthetics are on the eyes of the beholder.
