D'Alaire Royal Family Approval Ratings

As of May 2099, Dorian, The Duke of Touraine is still the most Positively perceived member of the d'Alaire family. Most either love him or hate him, even though he has officially abdicated from the line of succession for 3 years at this point. His popularity still reigns.

Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Umbrage is the most hated. These feelings of contempt stem from her brief reign as Queen, the way she handled her abdication, and how she continues to slander the country and her other family members alike.

I have just realized that in these first few chapters, I've zoomed through the years for the Crimsons. Luckily, The Crimsons have taken Portraits to remember the past. I'll share the rest under the cut.

The first photo is of the Late Queen Ila Crimson with her first grandchild, Crown Princess Florentia. She passed away before I decided to start making this story, So you will only hear mentions of her.

Left to Right:

Queen Fiona Crimson, Princess Royal, Fiorella Crimson, Crown Princess Florentia Crimson, King Liam Crimson.

As Florentia began to grow up, I realized that she is the spitting image of her Mother. They look so alike, Florentia also does have some features from Liam. Like her jaw structure, maybe her nose too.

Right to Left:

Princess Lorraine Crimson, King Liam Crimson, Crown Princess Florentia Crimson, Princess Royal, Fiorella Crimson, Queen Fiona Crimson, Prince Lucian Crimson.

Two new additions were made. I have introduced the twins already, but weren't they so cute as toddlers! Unlike Flo and Ella ( their nicknames that will be spoken eventually) Lorraine and Lucian look the most like their dad. Lucian especially, Lorraine has some features of her mom.

I love this portrait, They look the most like their everyday selves. I loved Fiona with long hair, Maybe she should grow it out again.

This is the most recent portrait, at least up until the point of the story so far. Fiona does have siblings so let me know if you would like to see their cousins, aunt, and uncle. Or if you want to see Fiona grow up through the portraits I have taken.

Like I referenced in the last post. A lot of the previous world-building is in my family trees. But since this is the first time I'm introducing the GRP I'll give a bit of background.

So the Global Relations Program started a few generations ago, not specifically in the Crimson Line but in the Sokolov line. The two have been connected since Princess Ila married into the family. Marrying at the time Crown Prince Oliver Crimson. Princess Ila's older sister, Crown Princess Alice Sokolov created the GRP to form relationships with other Royal and Noble children. So when they all became Kings/ Queens, Dukes/ Duchesses, and so on, their Kingdoms would not be alienated from others. Nowadays, The GRP has evolved from being exclusively Highborn individuals to be more inclusive with the member's statuses. The acceptance rate is low, so only the best and brightest can be admitted.

The GRP is a society that can only be completely functional when a Sokolov or a person of Sokolov blood is running it. And so far at least one Sokolov has run it per generation. Now Crown Princess Florentia has announced that she will be the Host for the next four years. The reason she can host is from her (although diluted) Sokolov blood.

The Kingdom of Willow

The Kingdom of Willow is ruled by the Alaire Family and is heavily based off of French Royalty. Therefore, their monarchs were titled Queen/King. The crown succession is inherited from the oldest child of blood relation. no matter the gender. Adopted or Illegitimate children cannot be the heir.
