This is my career suicide note, but it’s also a thank you from someone who is done with careerism. I’m a lifelong member of your party and I’m voting for Donald Trump. Why? It’s not just your industrial-scale censorship or your endless wars or the fact that you disenfranchised millions of Kennedy voters through lawfare. If that were all I had, it would be sufficient, in terms of conscience and rage, but there’s more to this story than anger. Your hatred and censorship has taught me to admire DonaldTrump and to love my fellow working-class Americans, and for that I thank you.

This vote is for all the traumatized people who have been canceled and banished just for saying no to the establishment. This vote is for the surveyor, the farmer, the HVAC man, the nurse, the hairstylist, the Deadhead, the veteran, and my fellow adjunct professors who have told me their stories about being bullied by the Democrats in their friends and family and their colleagues at work. This is for the young Black woman in my class last year who, on the day of Kamala Harris’s visit to campus, said, “You’re going to hate me, Dr. Armstrong, but I’m not going. I’m voting for Donald Trump.” Why would she think I would hate her for the way she votes? What has happened to our country?

Somehow, Donald Trump has changed my mind. Where I once saw a cartoon white supremacist, warmonger, and narcissist, I now see the man who renegotiated NAFTA and the only president in the twenty-first century not to start a new war. Where I once saw the pal of the neocons, I now see a man who has awoken from his slumber and disavowed Dick Cheney, George Bush, and John Bolton, even as my own party embraces these “men.”

Why has the greatest entrepreneur of my generation (@elonmusk) risked his career to side with Trump? Why has the most consequential grassroots environmentalist of my time (@RobertKennedyJr) sacrificed friends, family, and reputation to side with “The Orange Menace?” Why has the most courageous peace activist of the twenty-first century (@TulsiGabbard) left our party? Because Tulsi, Bobby, and Elon see what I see. Donald Trump is resilient and he’s risking his life to change the fate of our nation. Trump is transforming the Republican Party into the party of peace, free speech, and the working-class. He has converted George Bush’s billionaire boys club of Big War, Big Ag, and Big Pharma into a party that cares about public health and embraces regenerative agriculture.

Now I don’t think the GOP is all the way there yet, but they’re clearly the party that embraces dissent, and dissent—brave speech—is the fuel for evolution. So, for the first time in my life, I’m voting Republican. In the name of peace in Ukraine and free speech here at home, I’m casting my vote, as a Kennedy Democrat, for Donald Trump.

Today, @JoeBiden and his administration came out against the SAVE ACT, which would require documentation and evidence that a person is a United States citizen in order to VOTE in the US elections.

The only reason you would ever oppose this legislation is if you actively wanted illegal aliens to illegally vote in our elections to commit voter fraud.

Now we all know Biden and @TheDemocrats are counting on the millions of illegal aliens they allowed into our country to vote for him in 2024.

This is treason.

Harris Finally Emerges in Public, Sounding Drunk

I'm not the only one who sees this video and thinks, "Is she drunk?"

It's an odd video in many respects. Watch.

This is the first public statement released by Kamala Harris in THREE WEEKS, and it is 29 seconds, with no introduction or conclusion. It's simply a clip from some video she recorded, presumably on Tuesday, and released at 6:19 P.M. with no fanfare. It isn't even on Kamala Harris' own X account. It comes via the Democrats.

The whole thing is weird. You would think that Harris would have prepared a coherent message, projecting strength and resolve and inspiring her supporters. But this clip from a longer video was the first thing that was pushed out by the Democratic Party. 

Instead, you got...this. Better than a TikTok video car rant, but hardly anything you would expect from a Vice President and presidential candidate.

The entire video from which this is clipped is maximum cringe. Perhaps that is why the Party didn't want to ask people to plow through it. And since there was nothing good to clip, they picked the cringiest moment and shared it. If you can stomach the whole video, here it is.

Contrast that video with Kari Lake's after she conceded the Senate race in Arizona. Can you tell the difference? Kari Lake, when she is bad is very, very bad, but when she is good, she is outstanding. Her concession was off the charts good, in contrast to Kamala.

If you knew nothing else, which would you guess came from a presidential candidate who came within a few million votes after spending almost a billion and a half dollars? It reads to me like a woman who lost an election for president of the homeowner's association.

On top of it all, she sounds kinda drunk. She is talking slowly and sounds overemotional. I don't say this because I don't think highly of Kamala Harris. Objectively speaking, she looks and sounds awful.

Harris has been putting out feelers about potential future runs for Governor of California or even president in four years. This video, I would think, was supposed to be her opening statement to set up a rehabilitation. 

If so, it was as successful as her presidential campaign.

In a few years, even Democrats will look back on the 2024 election and wonder WTF they were doing. First, putting forward a man who was visibly turning into a vegetable, and switching him out, and replacing him with a woman who cannot get through a 30-second video without looking and sounding drunk. 

Political parties can make remarkable turnarounds in short periods of time, so don't assume Democrats are done for a decade or longer. But given what we have seen over the past few weeks and even years, the party has a long way to go to get to a point where they have either a candidate or a message that is not 100% repellent to ordinary Americans. 

One of the reasons that Americans seem to be breathing a sigh of relief is that a majority now feel they dodged a bullet this election (and not just in Butler). Harris is going to look worse and worse in the rearview mirror as the campaign fades into the distance. With the rose-colored glasses of partisan hopes taken off, even Harris supporters will see videos like this and wonder what they were thinking.
