There comes a point in everyone’s life where one event changes the way we look at everything. For Nikki, that event was actually divided into two events. The first was a snowboarding trip to Aspen, Colorado and the second was a sporadic camping trip. Despite the attention that she received because she is a model, Nikki had a tendency to keep to herself. A lot of it also had to do with her past.

However, the trip to Aspen brought her outside of her comfort zone. She allowed herself to open up and do things that she had done before the traumatic event that turned her world upside down. She spent time with people and was able to rekindle the love she has for snowboarding. She was able to see that not all people will meet her and forget her. Not everyone cares that she’s a bikini and lingerie model. Some people just see her as a normal human being. She will be forever thankful that the bus had an extra spot for her.

The camping trip... well that was something different entirely. She had just barely unpacked from her trip to Aspen when she met Zander. The two of them hit it off rather quickly, which for Nikki didn’t happen. Her past saw to that. She didn’t trust easily, but with Zander, it felt different. They made a joke about going camping and he said he could make it happen. An hour or so later, they were on the road. Once they got to the place he wanted to show her, Nikki was in awe of the beauty. She was also shocked how easy it was to open up to Zander and talk to him. Finally now, someone knows about what happened and he didn’t judge her for it. He changed her life forever.
