I had so much fun making this.

First I recorded a bunch of ukulele tunes and then I layered them and played them backwards at various speeds and then I recorded myself reading a poem I wrote and then I slapped it onto my favorite scene from Tekkonkinkreet.

i think my desperation and desire to create something with what i deem has “substance and meaning” prevents me from finishing anything, because in my eyes, the things i write feel juvenile. feel shallow. i wish i had a talent for being able to convey my feelings in a cohesive and lyrical way. i just want to write beautiful things and create beautiful art.
