my (cis) brother is using my old license to buy wine and it has the gender marker F on there. so whenever he gets asked he just says “oh i’m trans”. its literally worked every single time.

one thing that wally's said about the show and things that i don't vibe w/personally is coop thinking barb is 'the devil incarnate' after what he hears....at least not permanently. maybe at first but i just would find it super hard to believe that there was no conversation of this afterward where barb didn't try to get coop to understand that there is no way out of being bombed. and that she was merely a mouthpiece for whoever that mysterious figure was in the boardroom thingy.

honestly anything that paints barb as all evil (specifically within the context of the show and what info we have so far) is a bit boring imo. the show is so well written w/everything else and showing how people are not just one thing and continually flips our perceptions on their heads so i just don't think that's what they're setting up w/her. i think they're planning something way more interesting and nuanced re: barb. as they should. life, marriage, children, war, are fucking messy complicated things and should be portrayed as such.

#anyway i was cursed to have read a thing suggesting barb things coop is narrow-minded #selfish/vain/running away from his responsibilities and i just gotta wonder #like did ppl watch the same show?#i'll give them narrow minded maybe. in his naivety but the rest? excuse me? where?#and she?? def does NOT stand for the ideals of vault-tec #like?#hm #do u not see her agony?????#the whole time?#i mean ig if u only watch it once....but like even then i think u can see in the finale she's conflicted #she does not like this plan #but it's not up to her....#.ooc ( dani is an asshole )
