How the fuck was Kronos able to use Persephone's powers to restore his body and part of his strength???

i feel like i must have been aware of this at some point but my brain has been smoothed out so much by LO over the last 2 years that now i'm not even sure

i'm still as baffled as i likely would have been hearing this the first time so let's just assume that it's news to me

but yeah the fact that metis suddenly revealed love had to be involved was clearly a last ditch retcon to try and put the apollo conflict to rest

but then that put rachel into a corner that she resolved by hooking up zeus and metis together

but that didn't resolve the matter of the even deeper corner which was now, "wait, then how is apollo a threat even???" and so she just had to bring the love arrows into the equation which then just magically made apollo suffer from empathy even tho there was zero reason for persephone to believe that would even work when she stabbed him with it

look i think at this point it's just faster to say rachel can't write lmao
