I found this the other day when I was looking for something totally unrelated, but this one so cute my immediate thought was “I must do this for Karedevil”
Original post here
Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa:  Karen. She’s usually in too much of a hurry to pay attention. Matt tries to warn her when he sees her about to do whichever one she’s not supposed to and then she has to listen to him make jokes about how is she sure she isn’t the blind one in the relationship.  The whole thing is very annoying.
Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them: They both do this, and have no idea the other does it.  Matt finds himself doing it on the days Karen works out of the office.  Karen does it whenever she has to take a lot of notes.  They both find it ridiculous and embarrassing but they keep doing it anyway
Who starts the tickle fights: Karen.  Matt is very ticklish.  And he’s so adorable when he’s being tickled she simply cannot resist the temptation.
Who starts the pillow fights:  Matt.  But it was only the one time.  Karen had been teasing him about finding his clothes next to the hamper instead of in it, saying that his aim must be off.  He had no choice but to grab her pillow and prove to her there was nothing wrong his aim, he had just been extra tired, that was all. And the resulting pillow fight had ended up with both of them naked, making them extremely late for work, so it had been well worth it.
Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile: Matt.  Karen is usually already in bed when he gets home, but she’ll wake up when she hears him come in (and will often get up to help him tend to any wounds), but she will fall back to sleep pretty quickly. Matt’s adrenaline is still pretty high when he comes to bed, but listening to Karen’s heartbeat helps calms him down.  He has no control over the little affectionate smile that comes over his face as he’s falling asleep
Who mistakes sugar for salt: Matt.  In his defense they’re incredibly similar, and he was in a hurry, wanting to surprise Karen with breakfast before they left for the office and salt had made it into the batter instead of sugar.  Now whenever they have waffles Karen will ask him if he wants her to pass the salt.
Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning:   Karen.  Sometimes when she’s up late working on the couch she’ll make herself a cup of coffee or tea but then forget to drink it right away so she has to stick it in the microwave to warm it up, and then she’ll caught up in work again and forget it in the microwave, prompting it to beep after she’s gone to bed. She doesn’t consider this to be an issue, as Matt is usually just coming in and will take it out before he takes a shower or comes to bed.  If he finds it annoying he’s never said anything to her.  So it’s fine.
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines: Matt.  It’s a game between them that stemmed from a guy hitting on Karen with the line “do you believe in love at first sight or should I walk past you again?” while Matt was in the bathroom.  Matt, of course, had heard everything so now he tries to come up with the cheesiest lines he possibly can, for the sole purpose of making Karen laugh.
Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order:  Karen. She was restless one night when Matt was later than usual coming home and needed a project to distract her. Her bookshelf at her apartment had never had any kind of order to it, but now that she lived with Matt (who likes things very neat and orderly), she figured why not?  It was a good way to pass the time.
Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies:  Matt.  He can’t help it.  Karen makes excellent brownies (her grandma’s recipe).  One of his jobs is measuring out and adding the chocolate chunks to make them extra chocolatey (and delicious), so he figures  since he helped make them it’s only right he has a taste of the batter before they go in the oven
Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion: Karen.  She used to buy scented candles, but with Matt’s extremely sensitive nose she had quickly learned  to buy unscented after she had started burning a cinnamon roll candle and he wouldn’t stop complaining about how “fake” it smelled.  So now she just buys the tall unscented candles and lights them on the weekends, when they actually have time to sit down and have dinner together.
Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen: Karen.  Once while they were taking a walk she had remarked on an oddly shaped cloud but apparently was not describing it well enough to Matt so when they got back to the apartment she had grabbed a pen and drawn it on Matt’s hand. She had expected him to wash it off right away, but he kept it on (until it faded on its own after a few days)
Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation: Karen. It’s not often they go out of town so Karen can’t help but want to  bring home a little memento when they do.  Currently residing on the fridge is lobster magnet she picked up in Cape Cod where they had gone on a long weekend with Foggy and Marci and one from Niagara Falls.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines: Matt. Once when they had stopped at a café to have lunch a magazine had been left on their table, and Karen had flipped through it, jokingly asking him if he wanted to take the couples quiz.  To her surprise he had eagerly responded yes, and now time they happen to come across a magazine with a quiz Matt insists they take it.

A Little Break Never Hurt Anyone

Title: A Little Break Never Hurt Anyone
Request: Barba and Reader on vacation. For: @ghostofachancewithyou
Rating: K
Word Count: 1,275
AN: I’d like to apologize for how long it took to actually get this written and posted but nonetheless I hope that you enjoy what came of your request
Rafael Barba was not one to have free time. He was not one to take vacation time or to accept he was sick and take a day off to rest. No, he was what many would consider a workaholic. But it was necessary and you knew that. You had known it since the start of your relationship. He was an ADA and he worked closely along with SVU and you understood that it meant working tough cases, that it meant fighting for justice and fighting to put away some of the worst of the worst.
Rafael would often apologize for missed dinner dates, for having to cancel or having leaving in the middle. Yes, at first you were, admittedly, upset. But you knew he wouldn't leave for these cases if he didn't have to. After 5 years together, two years married, you had understood and accepted Rafael's dedication to his work. You took the time that you did have together with him and you made the most of it, dropping by his office during your own lunch or stopping by to bring him dinner whenever you could. Shared days off were spent doing the most in the amount of time that you had. Often times a list would be written out throughout the week of places to visit or errands that might need to be run.
Rafael was happy and you were happy. There was just one thing that had been put on the back burner for far to long. The last time you had gone on a vacation was your honeymoon. A trip to Cuba that the both of you enjoyed although you still believe that Rafael loved it just a tad bit more than you did for the sole reason of getting to finally see the country his family spoke of and where they had come from.
You understood of course why Rafael would consistently refuse a vacation, would consistently work tirelessly day in and day out. You understood but it didn't mean that you didn't dream about getting away every so often. Other ADA's could take over the cases and clients he'd be representing, Liv could come to any other ADA with a new case lacking in evidence for even a few days. But Rafael would always insist that it was his job. And it was, but still you tried time and again to persuade him to get away from New York for just a brief amount of time. On occasion he'd relent and you'd get a three day weekend somewhere, but it wasn't exactly what you wanted. You wanted to go somewhere and spend the time exploring, to actually get to see and know the place that you were in. You wanted to exist in a place for at least a week.
Going behind Rafael's back was never an option. You knew that talking to Liv, trying to arrange things on your own would never work. Rafael wouldn't accept a vacation arranged without him even knowing, so you waited. You waited and you tried to convince him and he knew and he tried to please you and he tried to find the time to go somewhere.
In some ways, you were thankful for his suspension. You had known what he had done, and while you didn't approve of it you understood that he felt it was the only way to win the case. And he had won, the rest was behind him and had been until it became blackmail. You were just grateful that it had been a suspension and nothing more, that he'd be able to go back to work after a period of time off.
It culminated in one conversation.
"What are you planning on doing while you're suspended?" you had asked.
"Haven't really thought of anything yet" he had replied.
And then what had followed was a thirty minute conversation where you tried to convince him that leaving New York was a good idea.
"You've got nothing going on and I can afford to take time off! We have the time to go somewhere, anywhere you want to go!"
"But what if the precinct ends up needing me or what if I'm allowed to go back early?"
"All I am hearing is the word if which to me at this moment means it's highly unlikely that you will be allowed back to work early. Come on. Anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?"
"Until I agree you aren't going to give up are you" Rafael had spoken, briefly glancing to you instead of the spot on the ceiling he'd been staring at for the last five minutes.
"You know me all to well."
"Well you better book the flight to Hawaii soon then."
It took a few days for you to be able to take a full week off work, another day to finish packing for the trip, and about 40 minutes to get to the airport but after eleven hours in the air you and Rafael were able to make it out of the plane and into another airport. Not to exciting except that when you looked out the window you were able to see Honolulu.
Rafael wanted to sleep as soon as you got to the hotel but you insisted that unpacking and then going straight to the beach was the better idea. He groaned but reluctantly got up and changed into a pair of board shorts. You were surprised he owned any at all and were certain he had probably bought some before the trip.  Dragging him out to the beach you both grabbed a drink before sitting and digging your feet in the sand. It was odd to see Rafael not in a suit and also not worrying about missing a call or having to go over more case files.
Basking in the sun you sat before making your way towards the edge of the water, wading slowly in. Rafael simply watched and continued to sit in the sun. Although he really wouldn't admit it, he was glad that he agreed to take a trip, to leave New York for once.
He'd be glad for most of the trip, only complaining once when you made him wake up early in the morning to go on a hike. "There is a thing called a bed which I would prefer to stay"
"Come on Rafi, it's not even that difficult of a hike"
But he enjoyed the museums and the food and would never once give up his coffee. "Art can wait until after I have coffee"
"Everything waits until you have your coffee"
"Exactly"
He enjoyed standing and looking at artwork and learning about the history of Hawaii, how it was once its own country. You were glad that you had your phone with you otherwise you would have believed the whole thing was a dream if you hadn't gotten photos of Rafael posing in front of buildings and on the beach. You sent some of the ones of Rafael in shorts to the squad before he could protest. Everyone deserved to see that anomaly.
Not that you'd ever expect him to. All in all you were surprised that he had even taken the time to relax and attempt a vacation at all. You were certainly surprised when he argued against leaving and when he began pouting on the way back to the airport and through the flight home.
"Remind me that we need to go on vacation more." "Wait. Does this me you agree with me about taking a break for once."
"Maybe. But tell no one"
"Love you too Rafi"

Seokjin Scenario: Sweeter Than Sweet.
Request: i would like a Jin scenario where it's his 6th year of marriage with reader, and he let their 5 years old daughter help him making breakfast to bed for reader and help him pack her present. That being said, i already thank you so much!
Genre: Fluff / Family
Teasing you about you not being a morning girl was fun, and Seokjin was currently glad for that because that was going to give him time to prepare his surprise. It was ten minutes after six and he eyed you still asleep next to him with your messy bed hair and parted lips, he still liked to observe you sleeping even after all this time, there was just something about it that filled him with tenderness. He leaned down, placing a soft kiss on top of your head and you stirred a little but stayed asleep. Jin smiled and slid out of bed carefully, going to the bathroom for a quick shower and going through the plan on his mind.
There weren’t many things to do, and he thought that the hardest of it all was going to keep Soojin quiet through the making. Seokjin smiled and put on comfy clothes, his daughter loved to think she was on little missions, so he’d told her that they had a special mission today. He threw another glance to the bed where you were still curled beneath the duvet, it was so tempting to just stay there as well next to your warmth, to wake you up with soft kisses and caresses, those that you loved as he knew so well.
Jin shook his head and went out with a lazy smile on his lips, you were distracting even while doing nothing, was he ever going to stop being enthralled by you? probably not, and he was content with that. He had decided to let Soojin asleep at least until seven and a half, but when he passed by his daughter’s bedroom, she was already awake. When Soojin saw him, she ran to his way, hugging his leg and giggling like a girl who knew a juicy secret.
–Morning princess, I wasn’t expecting to find you awake – Soojin giggled and shoved her hair away in that same way you had of doing it.
–We have a mission dad, we need to be awake –
–Of course – Jin caressed Soojin’s hair and crouched down to hug her, his daughter was growing so fast he almost felt nostalgic whenever he looked at Soojin, she was looking a lot like you lately, always picking up small gestures because she looked up to you so much. –We are special agents, and what is our mission today? –
Soojin smiled delighted, bouncing a little on her feet that were adorned with bunny socks, she placed her little hands on her dad’s ear to share a conspiratorial whisper. –We have to make mommy happy –
–And are we going to succeed? –
Soojin nodded seriously, her big round eyes focused solely on him and then she giggled, making Seokjin laugh softly and pick her up on his arms, first step was to reach the kitchen, the mission of the day had officially started.
You loved full breakfasts, that were sweet and salty at the same time so that day, that was what Jin was going for. He’d thought about making pancakes first but with everything he wanted to do, he thought it was going to be too much of a disaster so he’d just chosen a menu that he and Soojin could easily do without anything burning in the process.
–I’m all set dad – Soojin was on the steep tool by the kitchen counter, she was wearing her pink apron and matching cute chef’s hat, so indeed, she was ready. Jin suppressed a smile and read the list on his hand, they had around two hours before your usual wake up time and the first thing they needed to take care of were the brownies, the only thing they needed to bake that morning.
–Alright Soojinie, brownies are first – they fetch the ingredients and Jin measured everything so Soojin’s task was to put them together in the bowl whenever he told her so.
Her eyes were focused on the deep chocolate mix because just as you, Soojin was too much of a chocolate enthusiast, so Jin just let her scoop out a little to taste.
–Let’s put this in the mold Soojin, take that spoon – Soojin was following all his instructions and they made a quick work to get the brownie ready for the oven.
–What now daddy? – she was peeking the list that Jin had placed on top of the counter but she couldn’t really read yet. –Are we making the sandwich now? –
–Yes we are – Jin laughed with his daughter’s excitement, she always seemed way too excited for a sandwich. Jin sliced the bread and passed it to Soojin so she could spread some butter on them.
–I want mommy to like these – Soojin was taking each one of her tasks seriously, so Jin just kissed the top of her head and tickled the sides of her waist.
–She will because we’re making it with love – Soojin laughed loudly and he took the rest of the ingredients from the fridge, laying in front of her all the usual things she was most excited about. –No what should we put in these? –
–Cheese daddy, of course –
–Of course – he laughed and let her start placing the cheese on the breads. –Mom likes ham too, and bacon –
–Then let’s give her that – He observed his daughter filling the bread with way too much but she was simply having a blast with piling everything so he just let her be.
They checked the brownie and placed the sandwiches in the oven, Jin had made some coffee because that was a must to start your day, he was planning on doing a mocaccino for the occasion and a cup of chocolate for Soojin.
–Everything’s almost ready Soojin – he poured her drink on her Disney princesses’ glass and the coffee on two cups. –Bring me the plates please –
–I’m coming! – Soonjin took the large plate where Jin was going to place the sandwich, they were already golden and crispy, and he cut the brownie in little squares placing them on a little plate.
She smiled when everything was set, but then tugged at Jin’s shirt for his attention. –We need flowers daddy – she was handing him a tiny pink rose that she stole from the bouquet at the center table, so Jin placed it in a little vase and settled everything on the tray.
–Are we done now? – Soojin couldn’t really stay quiet then, he knew this was going to happen the moment they got the breakfast ready.
–Almost, this is just part of the mission, did you forget about the rest? – he teased her, ruffling her hair and then Soojin covered her mouth with her hands.
–We need the gift! –
Jin laughed and nodded, going for your gift so Soojin could help him with it, he’d wanted her to wrap it up for you since he thought it was going to be much more special that way. He’d bought a few of the things he knew you enjoyed the most, combining them all in one big gift, he’d gotten a framed collage full with pictures of the three of you, the makeup you’d been obsessing with, a ridiculously expensive body butter that you loved, and a pass for a full day of a spa that was conveniently at the same hotel he reserved to spend the weekend with you.
He placed the pass on a purple envelope while Soojin decorated the gift box with colorful sticky tape and little ribbons, it looked overall like a complete disaster and like something your five years old daughter would have done, so it was just perfect.
They carried everything to the room as carefully as they could, Soojin taking the gifts with her while Jin took charge of the food. She placed the gifts by the foot of the bed and Jin motioned with her chin for her to climb on the bed and wake you up. Soojin didn’t need to be told twice about it because she made her way to you and shook you softly, giggling to herself when you started to move.
–Mommy, mommy wake up, look what we did! –
You felt a light shake and then Soojin’s voice was all you could hear, you blinked confused and then your daughter started to jump on the bed, making you laugh because what was all this excitement about? She should be waking up your husband as well, you thought, but when you sat on the mattress Jin wasn’t lying next to you, he was standing in front of the bed with a tray on his hands and Soojin threw herself to your arms.
–Happy anniversary mom! – your daughter was giggling and the Jin winked at you when you met his eyes, he was smiling as brightly as Soojin was and only then you understood they had prepared a surprise for you.
–Happy sixth anniversary Y/N, and good morning love – your husband placed the tray on the bed carefully and pecked your cheek, enveloping you in a tight hug with Soojin in between. Well, this really was a way to wake up.
You laughed delighted because you hadn’t been up for even a minute and your cheeks were tingling.
–Oh my… did you make breakfast for me? –you asked, getting an effusive nod form Soojin and a laugh from Jin, he pulled the tray closer and you could see what they had prepared.
–We made your favorites mommy! – Soojin said, holding up a sandwich for you, you laughed because those were her favorites, but it was just as especial.
–I can see honey, and you even brought me coffee, brownies and a rose? – you looked at your husband biting your lower lip, your heart was beating so fast, he nodded and if Soojin wasn’t sitting right between you, you would have kissed him some kind of way.
–And we brought you gifts too! – Jin had to hold the coffees because Soojin was just too excited, she jumped to pick up the gifts and place them on your lap. –Open then, open them! –
It almost looked like this was a celebration for herself, so you laughed because your daughter got always so excited with every single little celebration you did.
–Oh let’s see, did you help daddy pick these? –
–Yes and I wrapped them too, do you like how it looks mommy? –
The box in front of you was Soojin’s handy work that without a doubt, so you pecked her cheek. –It’s so pretty, thank you Soojinie, now let’s see what I got here –
–There’s makeup, and there’s your cream, and we are there too – Soojin was speaking way too fast and you hadn’t even unwrapped the full box, so Jin and you just laughed at that, your husband took a better sit next to you so he could pass his arm behind you and rest his hand on the small of your back.
–I hope you like them…– Jin’s voice that morning was so mellow and low, or maybe it was the way he whispered that on your ear what got you shaking to the sound. –I love you –
He pecked you lightly again, this time by the corner of your jaw and it had you giggling just like Soojin, feeling all flustered and excited. Soojin kept talking about all your gifts and Jin told you about the weekend he’d planned for you while you ran your fingers along the framed picture of your little family.
Just being with them on that bed was gift enough, this was the sweetest way to start your anniversary and you could feel your eyes getting a little glassy with how special you felt right then.
–You two are really something – you said laughing, feeling the lump starting to take a home in your throat. You pulled Soojin close with an arm and your husband even closer with the other. –Thank you so much, you made mommy so happy with all this –
Jin leaned down for a well deserved anniversary kiss that had Soojin giggling and shying away. –Daddy! – she screamed and you laughed, biting your lips and unable to contain the silly smile spreading wide on your face.
Seokjin surrounded you with his arms and you hid your face on his neck, he looked at Soojin in complicity and smiled. –Mission accomplished Soojinie–
His daughter laughed and jumped forward to surround both of your necks with her little arms, which ended in the three of you falling against the pillows in a mess of happy laughter.

Food Survey (#1)
Breakfast
It’s the most important meal of the day! Do you even eat breakfast? I mostly skip it. I rarely ate breakfast when I was in college (because I had to drive out early to make it to class on time) and I’ve been skipping breakfasts again lately because I’ve been a ball of anxiety and panic and un-hungry-ness.
What time do you typically eat breakfast? When my family has breakfast together on weekends we eat at around 10-11 AM. Late risers, haha.
Would you say that breakfast is typically your largest meal of the day or your smallest meal of the day? It’s in the middle. My ‘smallest’ is lunch but that’s because I’ve always skipped it altogether.
Do you like going out for a sit-down breakfast? No, I don’t like the idea of waking up super early just to go out to eat breakfast lol, especially when nothing beats a homemade breakfast. I do like breakfast-themed restaurants, but I flock to them at non-breakfast hours.
Do you visit a coffee shop (ie: Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts) and place an order every morning? If so, what do you typically get? Nah because I’m always in a hurry to get to my destination and I don’t drink coffee in the morning. I prefer going to coffee shops in the middle or at the end of my day.
How many different ways will you eat your eggs? Any and all ways. Love eggs; they’re so simple lol
How do you prefer your bacon to be cooked? I like it soft and soggy. I won’t avoid crunchy bacon, but I just like its texture less.
Have you ever had Canadian bacon before? Which do you like better? I am honestly not sure. I’m not aware of the different kinds of bacon so I wouldn’t have been aware if what I’ve tried is ~Canadian bacon or not.
Do you prefer sausage links or sausage patties? I don’t like sausages, oops. Filipinos prefer their hotdogs lol.
What do you prefer your sausage to be made out of? (chicken, pork, etc) Or do you not like sausage at all? See above.
Would you rather have a breakfast bowl, a breakfast sandwich, or a breakfast burrito, and why? Tbh, none. We like our breakfast with fried rice on this side of the planet; it’s pretty much a non-negotiable. Breakfast sandwiches are viewed as being kinda fancy here so I’ll only get those on days when I want to treat myself haha. I’ve never had a breakfast bowl and breakfast burritos sound messy to me.
Do you prefer French toast, pancakes, or waffles, and why? Pancakes. They make me feel like a kid, and it’s simply a no-fail dish.
Do you ever eat bagels for breakfast? If so, what type do you typically like, and what do you put on it? Nopes, not a common meal here. Only boujee people who can afford to stop by Starbucks every morning and get a coffee and pastry have bagels.
Do you ever make banana bread? With or without walnuts? How about pumpkin bread? With or without chocolate chips? Seeing as I don’t enjoy fruits or fruits being incorporated in dishes much, nope.
Do you prefer cereal bars or granola bars? Which flavors? I have neither. I find them very dry and I’ve never liked the texture.
Do you ever eat cereal for breakfast? Or do you ever munch on it as a snack instead? What’s your favorite kind? Cookie Crisp is my favorite cereal brand, but because I can’t have cereal regularly, I eat it – and other cereal brands – as a snack.
Do you put milk in your cereal, or do you eat it dry? Only if I’m in a hotel and they provide cereal and milk in their breakfast buffet. And again, even then, I take my cereal with only very little milk.
Have you ever had biscuits and gravy? How about chicken and waffles? Fuck yes, fried chicken and waffles. Best comfort food.
Do you ever have steak or chicken fried steak with your eggs? No, because we have our own steak equivalent – tapa. I have a love-hate relationship with it though and it’s always a hit or miss when I taste tapa from different restaurants.
Do you ever eat cinnamon buns for breakfast? Ooh no, sounds way too sweet for breakfast. I view cinnamon buns as snacks and would consume them throughout the day, rather than solely for breakfast.
Do you enjoy eating coffee cake for breakfast? Nope. I generally avoid sweet dishes for breakfast as I find it too jarring for my tastebuds so early in the day lol. I prefer meals that are more well-rounded as it makes for a better eating experience, like tapsilog which has the saltiness of eggs and the sweetness of tapa. Filipino cuisine is just sooooooo *chef’s kiss*
Do you like doughnuts? What is your favorite kind to eat? Not for breakfast, but I LOVE doughnuts, yes. I love glazed and frosted ones, especially if they’re chocolate-flavored :)
Have you ever had a crepe before? No, they don’t sound appetizing to me. My sister loves crepes, though. Will always get one if she sees them on a menu.
Would you rather have a croissant or a scone, and why? Croissant. I love how buttery it tastes, and also I’ve never had a scone ha.
Do you have a preferred flavor of muffin to eat? Just chocolate chip. I was always a cupcake girl.
When’s the last time that you had a toaster strudel? Which kind would you prefer? I’ve never had it and don’t even know what it is. The only reason I know what a strudel is is The Rock lmao.
When’s the last time you had a Pop-Tart? Do you have any particular favorite flavors? I rewarded myself with a box of Pop-Tarts when I finished my internship last year. Now that I think about it, holy shit it’s been that long since I had a Pop-Tart? Damn...anyway, we only get like 5 flavors in this part of the world. I’ve tried all of them and my favorite is chocolate fudge. My next favorite would be s’mores, then brown sugar cinnamon, then cookies and cream, then strawberry.
Has anyone ever made Eggs Benedict for you before? Did you enjoy it? No one has made it for me but I’ve ordered an Eggs Benedict at a restaurant before. I looooove it. I wish it wasn’t so damn expensive so I can order it more often lmao, but I guess it’s viewed as a fancy dish so even though it’s literally just poached eggs on a muffin they’re able to jack up the prices for it.
Have you ever been served breakfast in bed? What was the special occasion? No. I wouldn’t count on my girlfriend to do so either as she’s deathly afraid of the kitchen lolol
When’s the last time you had an English muffin? Would you rather have this or a bagel instead? I don’t know if I’ve ever had it. If that’s the case, it would be a very long time ago since it’s not readily available where I live I’m guessing it’s the sort of thing that’s only available in 5-star hotels where there would usually be foreign guests.
Do you ever have fruit salads for breakfast? What do you prefer to put in them? Offfffffffff course not, ha.
Would you rather have hash browns or home fries, and why? For breakfast, hashbrowns. They feel more breakfast-y to me. But French fries will always be better for me overall.
What would you put into your omelette? Everything. Cheese, tomatoes, bell peppers, ham, mushrooms...whatever goes with eggs can go in my omelette.
Have you ever had a quiche for breakfast before? Nope. Again, not very common here and even considered too fancy. I’ve only seen quiches served at parties.
How do you like your toast, and what do you put on it? I don’t have toast often. If I was ever served one, butter would be enough.
Do you like to eat oatmeal? Do you prefer it to be warm or cold? What flavors do you enjoy? I wouldn’t hate oatmeal so much if I wasn’t fed it for breakfast every single day for my kindergarten years and half of my grade school years. But it happened, so I can’t stand the sight, smell, and texture of it now. I just find it so bland and bleh.
Have you ever had a popover before? Do you like them? I have genuinely never heard of that, ever. This is brand new to me. As someone who has heard it for the first time it definitely makes me think that this is some variation of popcorn, but I could be wrong haha.
Do you know anyone who puts peanut butter on their toast? How about avocado? I know people who do either. Peanut butter is a common bread filling here, whereas avocado toast is usually consumed by just the elite since avocado can be expensive and it’s simply not Asian fare.
Do you have a favorite-flavored Danish that you like to eat? No, I don’t have those either. Ugh I still have a lot of breakfast foods to try.
Do you ever eat yogurt for breakfast? Do you prefer it plain, or flavored? Yes or no to the fruit chunks? How about granola or chocolate flakes/candies in there? Noooooooo omg I hate yogurt, I think it tastes so weird :( Whenever Gab and I go to fro-yo stalls I always just want to order the toppings (since they look so appetizing) and none of the yogurt lol. Do you ever eat anything for breakfast that isn’t typically classified as a “breakfast food”? I’m sure some of the dishes I eat for breakfast could be considered unconventional but completely normal in Filipino cuisine, like dried fish and hotdogs.
What do you typically drink with your breakfast in the morning? (coffee, tea, juice, milk) Water. I feel that other drinks mess with the way I taste my food, so I refrain from getting those.
