DPxMCU Crossover - Saving Private Vision
I feel like if Danny was there in the Marvel Universe, he'd have been able to find a way to really resurrect Vision provided he had plenty of help.
Thing is, I think Vision had a soul. As the Ghost King & by my Legacy hc, Danny would have some power over souls. That, plus the fact that Vision was a synthetic entity & therefore hadn't been "alive" in the same sense that organics are, would give Danny some leeway.
The problem would be finding the right power source to take the place of the mind stone & if the mind stone is needed, he might be able to use the piece inside Wanda to do it. He could probably find a way to make Vision's body work off of ectoplasm if he could find a way to create a regulator able to generate ectoplasm from thoughts & emotions the way Danny himself can. That would allow Vision to function indefinitely via his own existence. However, that would take reconfiguring him to be able to do so.
Not to mention, he'd need to locate Visions' spirit, but it could be possible.
If he could get Vision's spirit to form an ectoplasmic shell, a.k.a. a core, then seal it into his body, it could work.
Though, if it did, Vision would've lost some memories via my theory of mnemonic imprints. Not to mention, he'd now have ghost powers.
Wandavision would have to take place first, then Danny would show up after the Multiverse of Madness.
The reason being that the GZ is the natural means of travelling the multiverse as portals through the GZ don't thin the membrane between universes. Because they are natural occurrences that work with the natural order rather than against it.
In this case, the Gap Junction wouldn't exist & instead, the Book of Vishanti would be hidden in the Ghost Zone.
It would be at this time that Danny would show up as, being the Ghost King, one of his duties would be protecting the book.
The Strange from Universe 838 actually had to have an audience with Danny to appeal to have the chance to run the course protecting the book. Which, the course would be the gauntlet leading to the Book in the movie.
In this instance, Danny would protect the Book of Vishanti from Wanda.
I theorize that the Vision that Wanda created was made when she used her piece of the mind stone to call back Vision’s soul for a time. That’s part of why he didn’t remember anything before his life in Westview.
On the other hand, the white Vision is Vision’s body reanimated without a soul & I figure that the little bit of Wanda’s magic used to revive him won’t keep him going for too long & when it runs out, so will he.
I believe that the fully revived Vision would remember Westview, but only bits & pieces from before that. However, with his body & the data inside it back together with his newly-formed core, he could remember eventually. Though, no need to rush that.
I feel like his coloring would be inverted. What was red would be green, green would turn red, yellow to purple, & gold to silver. It’s a bit of an outrageous color scheme, but what can you do? Not to mention, he'd also need help learning how to regulate his Obsession, which I figure would be similar to Danny's, making him a Tutelary & a Ghost in the Machine.
Anyway, after reviving Vision fully, I feel like Danny would recommend finding a universe in which Vision was born human &, awkward as it sounds, asking him to... donate. A quick trip to get artificially inseminated & Billy & Tommy are on their way.
It wouldn’t be the same Billy & Tommy, but it would be a Billy & Tommy. Only this time, Wanda & Vision would have to do it the right way. The long way.
Either way, Danny helps them by using the Infini-Map to find the right guy. Fun idea, the guy they ask is named Jarvis, he's a psychic, & he's married to his universe's version of Wanda.
In the end, Danny now has 2 friends for life.

Doom and his Magic - The Thing #5 & Strange #1 Inspired Analysis [Part 2/2]
Continued from Part 1: https://thelatveriandoctor.tumblr.com/post/677673758479335424/doom-and-his-magic-the-thing-5-strange-1 In terms of spells, Victor demonstrated that he can use healing spells:
Tumblr media
(Avengers: Children Crusader #4 (2011))
Teleportation spell:
Tumblr media
(Invincible Iron Man Vol 3 #2 (2015))
Summon shielding ward from various elder god including Vishanti from any mental/psychic attacks:
Tumblr media
During world war hate (Loki – Agent of Asgard #6 (2014))
Energy projection spell:
Tumblr media
(Invincible Iron Man Vol 3 #5 (2015))
Also his specialty defence and shielding spell , demonstrated in his fight against Morgan Le Fay in Dark Avengers #2 (2009)
Tumblr media
To the point where he can cast defensive spells without any chants at all: Invincible Iron Man Vol 3 #2 (2015)
Tumblr media
Or his new and more experienced casting in the deity spells : Such as Crimson band of the Cyttorak aka Doctor Strange's favourite spell
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Comparing Triumph and Torment (1989) to Savage Avenger #8 (2020) - Back when they first met, Victor cast the same spell on Strange and Stephen easily deflected the spell back to Victor. However, in the most recent encounter, Stephen was restrained. And the craziest thing? That is a doombot. Victor has perfected the art of technomagic and was able to make his robot to cast a spell like him. There is so so much more (I’d love to post more examples, but I am hitting the image limits again) Victor von Doom truly has grown a lot during the decades in terms of sorcery. He won the title of being the second last standing sorcerer in the Sorcerer Supreme tournament all these years ago without any proper sorcerer training. Now imagine, him with the newfound knowledge, artifacts that he has collected over the years, plus most importantly, the grief to the death of his only friend. He is a force of reckoning and he will be feeling even more entitled to take the mantle to protect and preserve Strange’s legacy since he last challenged Doctor Vodoo for the title of Sorcerer Supreme in Doctor Voodoo: Avenger of the Supernatural (2009)
Tumblr media
I am going to say, no Wong, Doctor Doom is going to be a problem especially when he asked to speak to the manager – I meant Vishanti to host another tournament.

Hey there! Hope you are doing well. Can u do a hc on what if MCU and PJO existed in the same universe? I mean it would be awesome right?????????
Anything that happened in the MCU also happened in the Riordan!verse, except that some parts are covered up by the Mist, while others aren’t (and Percy and crew never watch the news anyway).
Tony Stark is a child of Athena and legacy of Hephaestus through his father’s side. His inventions are not covered by the Mist as they’re not magic, which is why Iron Man and his actions are visible to mortals, whilst anything related to Thor is covered up as really bad storms.
Captain America’s actions are sometimes visible and other times are not. Usually, he does fight regular mortals, and in public eye he’s considered a science experiment. In reality, he’s actually a child of Nike that got a blessing of Ares - much like Frank’s - after he jumped onto the grenade.
Bucky is a child of Hebes, who was abducted by HYDRA to be experimented on due to his healing abilities.
Sam is a child of Ares who quit the war after his friend died, but he still can’t fight the call to battle whenever Steve shows up.
Clint and Natasha were recruited by SHIELD because they are a child of Apollo and Athena respectively. Natasha grew up in a long-since abandoned Russian faction of the Amazons. The Budapest Operations is covered by the Mist.
Bruce is a child of Athena, not much else changes in his story as once again, his failed experiment was purely based in mortal science.
Wanda is a child of Nemesis who learned to manipulate the Mist as her and her twin Pietro, a child of Hermes, sided with some of Luke’s surviving forces after the battle of New York, before joining Ultron.
The spider that bit Peter Parker was radioactive purely due to mortal sciences, but the reason he was bit, is because he’s a child of Athena.
Ant-man is a child of Hermes and Hank Pymm is a child of Athena who harboured a special interest in insects due to his hatred for spiders. Once again, the suit is purely scientific.
Prince T’Challa is a legacy of Bast, and his entire family line is blessed by said goddess (like Frank’s and Reyna’s family with Poseidon and Bellona respectively).
Doctor Strange is a mortal, who ended up at Kamar Taj, a base for the legacies and blessed of the Vishanti, who share their knowledge and skills with demigods and mortals alike.
Can you tell my main interest of the last year has been the MCU?
- Marge

I apologize in advance but @hoaryhoggoths and I created this Doomstrange x Good Omens AU and everything fits like a glove, I can’t.
Hear us out:
Aziraphale = Stephen
Crowley = Doom
Anathema = Wanda
Newt = Vision
Warlock = Valeria Richards
Warlock’s parents: Sue and Reed
Adam Young = Illyana Rasputin
Adam’s parents: Charles and Erik
Archangel Gabriel = Steve Rogers
Sandalphon = Tony Stark
Michael = Namor
Uriel = T'Challa
Pepper = Zelma
Wensleydale = Billy Kaplan
Brian = Nico Minoru
Sister Mary Loquacious = Scott Lang
Madame Tracy = Natasha
Witchfinder Sergeant Shadwell = Bucky
Death = Death
Pollution = Oblivion
Famine = Eternity
War = Infinity
Beelzebub = Emma Frost
Hastur = Daimon
Ligur = Satana
Satan = Mephisto/Belasco
God = Vishanti
Stephen is the dumb angel who is both very smart and stupid, also he’s afraid of the Vishanti. Yet, he gives the Eye of Agamotto to Adam and Eve because he’s so caring and naive. And Doom immediately falls in love with him the moment he says “I GAVE IT AWAY”. Stephen call his bookshop “the Sanctum Sanctorum” but he hates having clients. He loves his old tomes very much. Also he loves food, mostly tea. Victor hates when Stephen says that “Vishanti’s plan is ineffable,” tho.
Doom, on the other hand, is very practical but he doesn’t like being a demon. He didn’t mean to fall, he just wanted to save his mother’s figure from hell and thus was cast away. The fall burned and scarred his face, this is why he wears sunglasses all the time. Everyone blames him for the misery he put humanity through but actually he does nothing wrong ever (the only exception being when he plays god with his plants). “GROW BETTAAAAH”, he screams dramatically. Doom was once a very powerful archangel and created Alpha Centauri. Now he just grows more and more attached to the dumb angel at Greenwich Village.
When Satana and Daimon gave the Antichrist (Illyana) to Victor, he left the baby in Father Lang’s hands. He was supposed to switch the US Ambassador and wife’s (Reed and Sue Richards) child and the Antichrist, but he screwed things up. Illyana ended up going to Erik and Charles’ home, while Valeria became Sue and Reed’s child. The third child is unkown to us.
Stephen and Victor then, intending to avoid doomsday, have this brilliant idea to infiltrate the Richards’ Baxter Mansion and being figures of bad and good influence to Valeria. Victoria is now her nanny, while Brother Steven is the gardner. Victoria will sing lullabies about conquering the world and crushing enemies, while Brother Steven will say: “Don’t listen to her. Listen to me.”
When they conclude their mission, they return to their regular activities, believing Valeria will not become the Antichrist. Except they’re wrong. During Valeria’s 11th birthday party, they expected the hellhound to appear. But it never shows up. “Wrong child.”
The hellhound finds Illyana, who names it Bats. Nico, Billy and Zelma are Illy’s best friends and they’re inseparable. Charles and Erik are worried about Illy, but they try their best to be good parents.
In the meantime, Wanda Maximoff flies to America in order to find the Antichrist. She carries her family’s legacy: witchcraft and the book called Darkhold. Interestingly enough, Wanda loses the Darkhold when Victor hits her with his car. Wanda only accepts their aid because she’s so sure they’re a gay couple. “Come on, angel.” Oh, everything makes sense now. Also Victor is so bitter, he keeps teasing Stephen for performing miracles. “Oh, Vishanti, heal this bike.”
We’re also introduced to Vision, a synthezoid who, ironically enough, is bad with computers. Vision meets an old man named Sergeant Bucky who is very committed to find and burn witches. He lives next to Madame Natasha, whom he despises for her profession. Bucky hires Vision as a witchfinder.
Meanwhile, Archangel Steve Rogers and Tony go visit Stephen in the Sanctum regarding the Antichrist. They’re bad at playing humans. “Thank you for my pornography!” Tony yells for everyone to hear. “You can’t make a war without war! That’s brilliant, Tony!”, Steve says. There are other angels, such as T’Challa and Namor. Rumors say they’re called the Illuminati.
As doomsday approaches, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse rise: Eternity, Infinity, Oblivion and Death.
Finding out that Doom lied about the Antichrist, Satana and Daimon Hellstrom go haunt Victor. Satana ends up dead (but not really because these two always come back). White Queen of Hell Emma Frost is not pleased, though. Good thing her demonic group called The Cabal was in cahoots with one of the Illuminati, the archangel Namor.
As things get more complicated, Stephen and Victor have an argument. Victor wants to go to Alpha Centauri and Stephen is afraid of betraying Heaven.
"How long have been acquaintances?"
"Acquaintances? We're not acquaintances. We're an angel and a demon."
Victor tries to convince him one last time but Stephen is adamant. “We can run away together. Alpha Centauri!” When Stephen refuses once more, Victor is tired and angry and frustrated. “Im going home, Angel. And when I’m off in the stars, I won’t even think about you!”
Victor, obviously, can’t live without Stephen. So of course he goes back to the Sanctum, only to find it in flames. He’s desperate, mostly because he knows the pain of being burned, but Stephen is nowhere to be found. “SOMEONE KILLED MY BEST FRIEND! FOOLS! ALL OF YOU!” He then saves the only book that didn’t become ash, the Darkhold.
Stephen, on the other hand, accidentally goes to Heaven and returns to Earth without a body. He then, after reassuring Victor, possesses Madame Natasha and, with Sergeant Bucky’s help, go after the Antichrist.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are defeated by Nico, Billy and Zelma. Illy fixes Stephen’s body situation. Emma and Steve, on the other hand, are not pleased, but they can’t make a point about Vishanti’s ineffable plan. Mephisto/Belasco then appear, which makes Doom loses all hope. “We’re fucked!” he utters. Stephen is not convinced and forces Victor to act, or he’ll never talk to him again. Victor curses and stops time itself so they can come up with a plan. They show their true form (their wings are huge and beautiful) and hold Illyana’s hands. When the devil comes for her, the girl shouts that they’re not her dad. She keeps yelling until it becomes true. Her dads, after all, are Erik and Charles.
Heaven and Hell then want their revenge on Stephen and Victor, but they swap  bodies. Victor laughst at Steve, T’Challa and Tony’s faces when they try to burn him, while Stephen is having so much fun in the bathtub filled with holy water, courtesy of Namor
When all is over, they bodyswap back and have a very pleasant date at the Ritz.
“I like to think that none of this would have worked out if you weren’t, at heart, just a little bit of a good person.”
“And if you weren’t, deep down, just enough of a fool to be worth knowing.”
“To the world.”

I might be forgetting something but!!! BUT!!! THIS!!

𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐄𝐑, a drabble
This was originally written for @combatfueled / @caresomuch and posted on my former account, now being reposted here by the author. Do not copy or repost elsewhere. Do not reblog this at all, and do not interact with this if you are not a mutual.
It had been a while coming; every day that Stephen had been able to hold onto Christine just a bit longer had been a blessing. If it were possible, the sorcerer was convinced that his pure selfishness towards her could have kept her alive forever. Still, some things were impossible, even for the Sorcerer Supreme. As such, he knew he had a sacred duty to protect the multiverse and keep the balance of the natural order. Just because Stephen’s methods were often unorthodox, that didn’t mean he hadn’t grown to respect it. As much as it pained him, Stephen couldn’t hold onto Christine Palmer forever.
There had been new people in their lives over the years; friends and allies that come to hold a great deal of significance to him. A few of these had already begun to pass on. Stephen never could forget the sorrowful, grim look on Wong’s face the day he first brought news of a comrade’s death outside of the line of duty or tragic accident. The world was moving on, and soon Stephen would be left in the dust. The passing of your first life, that was something all Masters felt. Something Wong knew personally once upon a time. For Stephen, it was the most stone cold sobering moment of his life. He remembered rushing home to Christine nursing a tea, their dog at her feet on the sofa, and practically knocking the mug out of her hand as he pulled her into a tight embrace. She had been so confused, it wasn’t until much later that he’d been able to force the words out to explain. The gravity of longevity. It wasn’t just looking youthful, as his mind had previously likened it; it was being stuck as the world moved on — as the people he loved moved on without him to a place he could not follow. It was the certainty of being left in the dust alone.
She had still been alive, but as the years went by, Stephen couldn’t help but already begin to feel a twinge of mourning towards her. Hiding it as best he could, but Christine was smart. Smarter than him in several ways, straight up telling him not to miss her before she was gone on a couple occasions. She was right, of course. Christine rarely wasn’t. So, Stephen tried to enjoy it while it lasted. Selfishly stealing every second he could dedicate to her; late for lessons and meetings. Not everyone understood; they were mortal though. It was different for them, they were all dying.
Even some of the other Masters grew impatient at times, their own first lifetime and former earthly attachments long since past. Only Wong truly understood, while he shared frustrations when Stephen was twenty minutes late (despite having the Eye in his possession) and covering the class he was meant to lead, he couldn’t maintain it for long. Stephen was his friend, and despite the Sorcerer’s prickly disposition and off putting sarcasm, he was so emotional. So invested, he loved so much even if he didn’t actively show it on the surface. He knew the loss of the remainder of his human life would be the most painful thing he ever felt — and Stephen knew it.
Christine wasn’t just a friend. Hell, she wasn’t ‘just his wife’ either. Christine was his past, his present, and his future that was quickly running out of time. There were parts of him that only she held the key too. Experiences that shaped who they were, undergone together. Fusing their two souls together in a way nobody could ever replicate. They had been a part of their greatest moments of happiness and their most painful heartaches. Celebrated each other's victories and consoled their miserable failures. If Stephen was a map of all he had ever been and done, then Christine was the legend. Sure, one could glance a map and get a glimpse of what was being depicted — but you’d never fully get the full details without the key to understanding it. He’d live on, but the context to all he had ever been was gone.
Christine was gone, and in his selfishness, Stephen stretched her final moment out as long as possible. Afraid to say goodbye, understanding now how The Ancient One had felt that night they watched the snow fall. She was stronger than him, she always had been. Stephen wasn’t brave by his own doing. He was brave because she had taught him to be so. So much loss in his life, but this one felt different. It sat different with him; there was no blame this time. No finger to point. Christine had come into existence and sailed off into the night like she had always been meant to do. There was a peace in that, he supposed but it also left an unsettling heartache that made the world feel dull around him. She was just gone. It was the natural order, but that didn’t make him feel any less empty.
In his selfishness, it was only after her passing that Stephen stopped thinking about his own broken heart and considered Christine’s legacy on her own. A wing at the hospital they had once both worked at was currently dedicated to his late wife; Christine had raised countless amounts of money for charities around the world, leading to the funding of various underprivileged areas and medical research that changed the world. At her service, Stephen had been shocked by the amount of people whom she had saved or helped the loved ones of over her long career that had come to pay respects. For months, cards, flowers and donations made in her name to organizations she had cared about overflowed; and Stephen had no idea what to make of it all. One life. One woman. On some cosmic scale, one ordinary and universally unimportant woman provoked this much love and gratitude. Then again, even if the universe had never realised, Stephen had always known that Christine Palmer had been the exact opposite of that and more. The rest of the cosmos was just catching on.
He felt lost for a while, Christine had always been his anchor. His north star that guided him home. Motivating him to be better than he was. It was too easy to fall into old habits and drown himself in his work. So many times, Stephen teetered on the precipice, dipping his toes in the other side — until he heard the very stern and demanding voice of his wife in his head setting him straight; and whenever he did, the world slowly gained a bit more of its colour. He didn’t think it would ever be as vibrant as before, there were somethings that could never be replaced… but maybe he would be okay.
Seven hundred years, and counting, was a long time. Stephen’s past lives held fuzzy memories and blank spots. Eidetic Memory had limits and he found that as time went on, to access older memories Stephen required intense mediation to unlock them. Yet, there were some things that always remained clear. His first life. His first love. Christine Palmer held parts of him nobody could ever have; which was why Stephen Strange held the parts of her she had given him with him until the very end.
When Stephen faced the Vishanti one final time, leaving his world weary body behind, Christine Palmer still resided in his heart and soul. Seven hundred years, and counting, and when it was time to go — one last time, she was his legend. His compass. His north star, always guiding him home.

Yikes the Musical: Featuring Doctor Strange #384
There’s not a single character in this issue who shouldn’t be shouting “YIKES” at the top of their lungs right now because HOLY COW DO THEY HAVE REASON TO.
It’s nice to see Loki actively restraining himself here and showing genuine concern over Stephen’s wellbeing (well, until he punches him through several walls but pobody’s nerfect and all that), and I can’t overstate how excited I am over the con that was used to sell this book. The solicits positioned Loki as the Intruder, the Title Thief, the One to Overcome, as though they themselves were written by Stephen, so blinded by jealousy and hurt that he cannot see the truth of the situation: he is the antagonist here, not Loki, who (for all we know) is just trying his best.
(side note: it’s fun to see Cates’ play with Loki’s usual ‘usurper’ trope and turn it on its head a bit. Sure, Loki did technically usurp the title from Stephen [as much as showing up uninvited to watch a magic duel counts as ‘usurping’], but in this case he’s a rightful-ish usurper)
The things Stephen has done in name of the greater good in the four short issues since this run began are...............bad. Let’s rattle them off, shall we? He ghosted all of his friends, left his apprentice in the care of a former supervillain without warning her, secretly hid a world-breaking spell inside said apprentice, secretly hid a world-breaker level being on top of a mountain, used said world-breaker to terrorize a realm that still bears the scars of its last encounter with him, stole magic from the World Tree while said realm was being terrorized, like honestly the list goes on and on. And now he’s using Sentry as a siphon for his own magical consequences, which in theory might actually be the kindest fate for Sentry (living in isolation but given a purpose) but is a truly horrifying concept in practice. Even if Sentry can take it, Stephen’s willingness to put this burden on anyone other than himself, especially now that he doesn’t even have the excuse of being Sorcerer Supreme, is a level of selfishness and willingness to cut corners that only proves the Vishanti’s point about him being unworthy of the title. And speaking of cutting corners...
At this point I wonder if Loki asking around for the Magic Bomb spell was just another variant of the “Wouldn’t it be better if someone took Billy Kaplan out of the picture” trick he pulled with America Chavez at the start of Gillen and McKelvie’s Young Avengers so that he could lure Stephen into opening the Mysterious Door (a wildly improbable theory but I literally don’t discount anything when the God of Drama for Drama’s sake is involved). Anyway, no matter what the larger game at play here is for Loki, one wish comes true and Stephen finally opens the big ol’ locked door, revealing the biggest cut corner of all. Why worry about an all-consuming Void taking over your body and destroying the world when you can just lock it behind a giant door where you never have to look at it again? Now there’s a metaphor for repression if there ever was one. We haven’t seen Loki genuinely afraid since Thor Found Out About the Bad Thing He Did back in AoA #10, so the panels following the Void’s reveal are...unsettling.
By taking the Void into himself, Stephen has cemented his place in this story. In this moment, he is not the hero. He is the one who is willing to put the lives of people he loves and the safety of literally the whole world at risk for a danger that (for all the proof he actually has) may not exist, the one who has gouged his own legacy because he can’t see past Loki’s. But if anyone knows a thing or two about pulling themselves out of a pit of their own making it’s Loki, so maybe there’s still hope for Stephen...if he’s willing to ask for it.
This arc (and every single element of it from the characters involved to the story itself) remains (for me) the only one that has managed to both embrace and have interesting commentary on Marvel’s whole Legacy Quest 2K18 thing, and I cannot wait to see how it ends.

5 things that you like about yourself
So first off imma be terrible at this but still gonna do it. I was tagged by @the-sith-in-the-sky-with-diamond
I also need to tag 10 of my followers so buckle up for that
Anyway enough yaping begin
1. I don’t take myself too seriously. I’m very silly and find myself acting like a doof all the time. I’d prefer this than take everything and everyone too seriously
2. I’m very focussed when I start a task. Once I start a task like a drawing I tend to get it done then and there. This isn’t always a good thing but I like that I can just do things in one go
3.i write a lot. I write a lot in my spare time in my head both for my dnd and for my ocs I think it’s really stretched my creativity and imagination
4.getting tricky now uhhh. I like I’m very determined, due to many reasons I’ve had some obstacles in my life I can’t control but I have managed to overcome them
5. I like that I’m generally considerd a nice person by those around me
Wow that was hard anyway I have to tag people feel no obligation to answer tho
