I hope y'all know that when I call modern Suiren "Wednesday Addams looking ass", I'm not referencing the stupid Netflix show or that lowkey ugly cartoon or even Addams Family Values or whatever it's called that most people who like the Addams Family swear on being the best adaptation

I AM referencing the only two I've ever seen – The old black and white 60s show and the (frankly, amazing) russian translation of the Addams Family musical that I got to see two years ago

#I'm sorry but the b&w 60s show holds SUCH a special place in my heart #I used to watch it with my mom. it's the one with the iconic theme song. the vibes are immaculate #I feel like other adaptations go for different vibes. Concept:

Modern baby ragbros, clearly supposed to be asleep but clearly wide awake. They are in their bed because, yes, they totally sleep together most nights. Still --- that is beside the point. They have a blanket over their heads so that the light of the Nintendo DS's screen is not perceived in the dark. Diluc holds the console, while Kaeya watches him play and gives him suggestions from time to time, his chin resting on his big brother's shoulder.

Both are softly giggling as they play Professor Layton games with the lowest volume. That does not stop them from sometimes humming along to the soundtrack.

Just two happy brothers, playing detective games throughout the night.
