aftg headcanon: dan and andrew actually become friends in dans senior year
so idr if this is in the ec or not but i think the upperclassmen had a great time at edens twilight on halloween and they end up going out with the monsters on a semi-regular basis. nora never mentions it but i reckon edens has a really nice smoking area where neil and andrew will go out for a cig. this is nothing groundbreaking so far BUT my hc is that dan used to smoke in high school (like on break at the club with her sisters), and still occasionally will crash a cig off someone when shes drunk. so please join me in picturing a Very trashed dan wilds pleading with a bemused andrew to give her a cigarette
also i love the idea of when andrew actually starts caring abt exy he seeks dan out to talk to her abt the team, like things hes noticed abt the backline or whatever. the first time dan about jumps out her skin when andrew is waiting for her after class but then he just wants to tell her about a new backline strategy hes thought of
OOH GOOD STUFF
I'm such a slut for the foxes becoming closer, especially inter-upperclassmen/monsters relationships so this is right up my lane. I think the upperclassmen DO start going out with the monsters and while Andrew probably has no interest in becoming close with the upperclassmen, Dan is the one most desperate for closer connection so I think she'd make a point of trying to learn what needs to be done and how to approach Andrew in the way that he'll accept. and I think it takes some time and a lot of being played with by Andrew before it becomes not unusual for them to be comfortable spending time with each other.
anyway I keep going back and forth on whether dan would be a smoker because I feel like she'd be the type of athlete to hate smoking/drugs (maybe?) but honestly for sake of this hc, fuck it. I think it'd also amuse Andrew to see the lengths she'd go to to get into his good books.
obsessedddd with the last point specifically because I see that happening even more clearly. I think he'd even prefer going to dan over Kevin or Neil because I think there's still that piece that wants to fight exy, that still doesn't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing him enjoy it. but Dan will never be that important to him and she wouldn't see it as a big enough deal to draw attention to it.
maybe one time Andrew goes over to coach's place to annoy him and finds coach and dan drinking coffee and talking exy and Andrew makes a point of being uninvolved with the conversation, instead just walking around poking through coach's shit or making himself a shake with the ice cream that only he eats or pulling out all the books on coach's shelves. and then he settles himself on the floor with his shake still characteristically mute and looking bored until the conversation changes. but then the next day he meets Dan at her class or corners her after practice and says "here's why your strategy sucks: " and she's very startled that he was even paying attention enough to understand it, let alone to think about it for a whole day afterwards but she collects herself and goes back and forth with him and next time she's ready for it.

Something that stood out to me in my aftg reread was how unhinged the upperclassmen actually are.
Matt fucking Boyd and his willingness to absolutely go at anyone, anywhere, any time. There's a scene where Kevin tells him to foul another player on the opposing team and Neil specifically points out the unrepentant grin he has on his face as he waltzes off court after it happens. He also is described as the best player on the foxes line up multiple times by Neil and his play style is aggressive, he uses his height and build to his advantage and he doesn't hold back.
Allison and Andrew have the exact same style of serving cunt, in that if you don't interest them they will not even acknowledge your existence. A player from another team attempted to score on the goal and both Allison and Andrew stood still and watched them miss with such bitchy indifference it probably gave that player ptsd. They also both have a habit of cutting through bullshit and demanding truth ESPECIALLY regarding topics other people would shy away from. Badass blonde bombshells.
Dan Wilds is just as rabid about Exy as Kevin and her every first thought goes to the game first just like Kevin. She's just better at making her second thought go to something else. She literally knew the second Seth was out of the picture that there was an opportunity there and she didn't even really hesitate to talk to Matt about it. She looked at Neil and whatever fucked up little thing he had going on with Andrew (as it would have looked to an outsider, let's remember that they all knew Andrew took him to Columbia and drugged him) and was like, how can we use this to make the team stronger. Like Nicky used Neil to manipulate Andrew but Dan did it better and with much more calculation.
Renee I don't even really need to talk about because Neil was always wary of her but there is one scene where Neil let's slip about his father's penchant for knives and Renee's reaction and understanding gave me chills. Renee uses that part of her to protect and that's really great because she would be terrifying otherwise.

YOU WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE WORLDS BIGGEST IDIOT : GOJO SATORU, GETO SUGURU
the first time you meet your senior, GOJO SATORU, GETO SUGURU . . . you think they are the weirdest and most idiots person you've ever met, especially that special kid, gojo satoru.
warning : fluff
w/c : 7,8k | [☆] MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
THE FIRST MEETING
you were walking to the mall with yuu haibara and nanami kento, enjoying the break from school and missions. as the three of you strolled down the busy streets, yuu was excitedly chattering about all the things he wanted to do at the mall, when he suddenly said, “oh, by the way, we're meeting some of our upperclassmen today! and i heard you know shoko ieiri?”
you nodded, recalling the times your father made you visit jujutsu high before you officially enrolled. shoko was always there, casually smoking or chatting with some of the older students, and she was one of the first people to welcome you with her relaxed demeanor and dry humor. but as for the others you were supposed to meet today, you didn't really know them—just heard bits and pieces from conversations around school.
“geto suguru and gojo satoru, right?” nanami groaned at the mention of their names, rubbing his temples as if he could already feel a headache coming on. “great, just what we needed... gojo-unbearable-satoru and his sidekick.”
you chuckled, not entirely sure what to expect but amused by nanami's reaction. “are they really that bad?” you asked, curious since you’d only ever heard that they were an insanely strong duo, both special grade sorcerers, which was a big deal considering their age.
“they’re both ridiculously powerful, but gojo is... gojo,” nanami said, his tone dripping with exasperation, “geto’s alright, i guess. but gojo's insufferable.”
as you arrived at the mall, you spotted shoko first, leaning against the wall near the entrance with her phone in one hand and a cigarette in the other. beside her stood two guys who had to be the infamous geto and gojo. geto looked calm, with long hair tied up and a gentle smile on his face. gojo, on the other hand, had that cocky grin and his signature sunglasses, radiating an aura of arrogance even from a distance.
“there they are,” yuu pointed out cheerfully, waving at the trio.
you hesitated for a moment but followed yuu and nanami as they approached the group. shoko spotted you and gave a small wave, her expression softening slightly. “hey, you made it,” she greeted you, her tone as laid-back as ever.
as you and the other first years finally approached, geto and gojo turned their attention toward you all. gojo was the first to speak, eyes hidden behind his dark sunglasses as he shamelessly scanned you from head to toe. he had that smirk—the kind that screamed he thought he was better than everyone else—and he leaned forward, one hand still stuffed casually in his pocket.
“hey, so this is the new kid?” he drawled, his tone light but with an unmistakable hint of mockery. geto nudged him, a silent warning flashing in his eyes, but gojo barely seemed to notice, too caught up in his own amusement.
you raised an eyebrow, already unimpressed. you’d heard all about gojo satoru from your family—the endless talk about his six eyes and his bullshit special grade powers like he was some kind of walking legend. honestly, you’d had enough of that nonsense to last a lifetime.
crossing your arms, you met his smirk with one of your own, not backing down in the slightest. “wow, the great gojo satoru, huh? must be exhausting, carrying around all that ego,” you shot back, your voice dripping with sarcasm, “heard so much about you—mostly that you’re just an arrogant prick with some fancy eyes.”
gojo blinked, a flicker of surprise breaking through his smug expression, but it quickly turned into a grin. “oh, i like this one,” he said, clearly entertained by your sass. “she’s got some fire.” nanami and yuu couldn't believe what they were hearing, their eyes widening at your boldness. gojo, however, seemed to delight in the fact that you were snapping back at him instead of cowering away like most people did.
he leaned in closer, a sly smile on his lips as he looked down at you, his sunglasses hiding his eyes but the mischief in them was palpable, “well, well, well... the little first year has some bite.” geto watched with amusement, leaning against the wall and hiding a smirk behind his hand.
geto chuckled softly, giving you a knowing look as if to say he was used to this kind of reaction toward gojo. “don’t mind him,” geto said, his tone much gentler, “he likes to push buttons.”
“yeah, well, he’s not pushing mine,” you said with a shrug, refusing to let gojo’s attitude get to you. you weren’t about to be intimidated by some guy who thought he was untouchable. if he wanted to play that game, you’d play right back, with just as much sass and zero tolerance for his bullshit.
gojo laughed, a sound that was as arrogant as it was charming. he liked you. you were different from other people he’d met, and to say he was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement.
“oh, i like this one,” he repeated, his smile widening. “she’s not scared of me, suguru. it’s refreshing.” geto chuckled again, shaking his head slightly, “yeah, she's not intimidated by your god complex,“ he teased.
as the six of you strolled through the mall, browsing shops and occasionally stopping when something caught yuu’s eye, you couldn’t help but notice how geto and gojo kept glancing at you, their heads tilting toward each other as they whispered and smirked like they were sharing some inside joke. it was irritating, really—especially gojo, who seemed to be making it his personal mission to get under your skin.
you tried your best to ignore them, pretending to be engrossed in whatever store display was nearby, but you could feel their eyes on you, that smug energy radiating off of gojo like a beacon. he’d throw out little comments here and there, light jabs that were clearly meant to see if you’d react.
“so, what’s your deal, huh?” gojo suddenly said, breaking the conversation you were having with nanami about some new movie. he fell into step beside you, leaning in with that same annoying smirk. “you’ve got quite the attitude for a first year. something to prove, maybe?”
you rolled your eyes, not even bothering to look at him as you continued walking. “and you’ve got quite the mouth for someone who’s supposed to be ‘all-powerful,’” you shot back, keeping your tone casual but laced with a bite, “maybe try using it for something other than annoying people for once.”
geto snickered softly from behind, clearly entertained by your responses, while gojo just grinned wider, like he was enjoying every second of your defiance. “oh, come on, don’t be like that,” gojo said, pretending to pout. “we’re just trying to get to know you. you’re kinda fun when you’re not glaring at us.”
the entire time, yuu was stuck between looking like an excited kid in a candy store and watching the interaction between you and gojo like he was watching a tennis match. seeing someone stand up to gojo’s arrogance was a rare sight, especially for someone as much younger as you.
nanami, on the other hand, was simply exhausted by the whole thing, his eyes narrowed as he looked at gojo and muttered something that sounded like ‘annoying prick.’ while gojo continued his verbal banter, geto quietly watched.
“yeah, fun,” you muttered, your patience wearing thin, “or maybe i just have a low tolerance for bullshit.” gojo laughed, the sound loud and obnoxious, drawing a few stares from passersby. “guess we’ll just have to see how low that tolerance really is,” he teased, nudging geto, “bet i can make them snap by the end of the day.”
you stopped walking, finally turning to face him with an unimpressed look. “oh, please,” you said, voice dripping with sarcasm. “if you think i’m gonna lose my cool over some smug, overconfident special grade who thinks the world revolves around him, you’re in for a long day, gojo.”
for a split second, you thought you saw a flicker of surprise in his eyes, but he quickly covered it with another grin. geto chuckled again, nudging gojo as if to tell him to ease up. “looks like you’ve met your match, satoru.”
“yeah, yeah,” gojo waved him off, still smirking. “but that’s what makes it interesting, right?” you just rolled your eyes again, turning away from them to continue walking. if gojo thought he was gonna get the better of you, he was sorely mistaken. you weren’t about to give him the satisfaction of seeing you snap—not today, not ever.
by now, nanami was silently rooting for you not to let gojo get under your skin. yuu was practically vibrating with excitement, enjoying the spectacle like it was a circus show. and geto—geto was clearly entertained, barely holding back a smile behind his hand as he watched you brush off gojo’s attempts to rile you up.
despite your outwardly unbothered demeanor, gojo was not about to back down. he loved a challenge, and there was something about your attitude that intrigued him.
so he continued, throwing out more snide comments and subtle jabs.
YOU AND GAKUGANJI'S GUITAR
ever since that first meeting at the mall, geto and gojo had made it their mission to annoy you every single day. they always found a way to tease you or mess with you, and it felt like they had some kind of radar for whenever you were in a decent mood, swooping in just to ruin it. and it didn’t help that your classmates started hanging out with them more, dragging you into their chaos whether you liked it or not.
you’d tried to brush them off, but they were relentless—gojo especially, always throwing some sarcastic comment or smug remark your way, while geto would watch with an amused smile, occasionally adding his own little quip that was just enough to push your buttons. it was like a game to them, and you were the unwilling participant.
one afternoon, you’d finally had enough and decided to take some time alone, venturing into the forest to clear your head. you needed some peace, some quiet, and more than anything, a break from those two idiots who always seemed to find you no matter where you went. but it wasn’t just for relaxation; you were digging for something with a shovel in hand, trying to keep your mind focused and away from the usual annoyances. the quiet, the solitude—it was exactly what you needed.
you were deep into your task, almost losing track of time, when suddenly you heard a voice behind you—smooth and way too familiar.
“what’re you digging for, a body?” geto’s voice rang out, and before you could even register it, you jumped, letting out a scream as the shovel slipped from your grasp and clattered to the ground. your heart raced, and you whipped around to find geto standing there, his expression half-amused, half-surprised at your reaction. geto and gojo stood there, both grinning like they’d just won the lottery. gojo was barely holding back laughter, while geto wore that usual smug smile, clearly pleased with himself for catching you off guard.
“damn it, geto!” you snapped, pressing a hand to your chest to steady your breathing. “are you trying to give me a heart attack? what the hell are you doing here?”
gojo snickered, leaning against a tree with that same insufferable grin. “we were just taking a walk and saw you out here,” he said, clearly not sorry at all. “but now i’m curious—what are you digging for? burying evidence or something?”
you huffed, quickly realizing that your attempts to have a moment of peace were quickly being ruined by the two special grades who had a habit of making your life more difficult.
you crossed your arms, trying to regain your composure and glare at them defiantly, but your heart was still racing from being startled. “none of your business,” you grumbled, turning away to pick up the shovel.
gojo snickered again, leaning against the tree and looking like he was enjoying himself way too much. “aww, no need to be so defensive,” he teased. geto’s eyes flicked to the electric guitar lying on the ground near the hole you were digging, and he immediately recognized it. a smirk tugged at his lips as he leaned closer, arms folded casually.
“is that gakuganji’s guitar?” geto asked, his tone filled with amusement.
your movements froze instantly, your back still to them, slightly bent over as you were mid-dig. the tension in the air shifted, and even gojo raised an eyebrow, the smirk on his face growing wider as he realized the significance of geto’s question.
you let out a frustrated sigh, your gaze darting between geto and gojo as you tried to keep your composure. the shovel felt heavy in your hand, and you shifted uncomfortably, suddenly very aware of how ridiculous this all looked.
“it’s not his guitar,” you said, forcing yourself to sound casual despite the nervous tremor in your voice. you avoided eye contact, focusing on the ground as if it held the answers to your predicament. “i—uh, I just found it here.”
geto raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying your story, while gojo’s grin grew even wider, clearly relishing the situation. “oh really?” geto said, his tone skeptical. “just found it, huh? out here in the middle of nowhere?”
gojo let out a barking laugh, unable to contain his amusement any longer. "oh, this is rich," he snickered, clearly enjoying your obvious lie.
geto chuckled softly, shaking his head in disbelief. “seriously? you really think we’d believe that?” he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. “out here, in the middle of the forest, you just happened to stumble upon the esteemed gakuganji’s prized guitar?”
gojo leaned against the tree again, still snickering. “nice try, but you’re gonna have to do better than that.” you scowled, feeling your patience snap as gojo and geto continued to mock you. their laughter and disbelief were grating on your nerves, and you couldn’t hold back your frustration any longer.
“fine,” you snapped, turning to face them fully with a fierce glare. “it is his guitar. that old bitch was pissing me off today and i hate him, so i took it. happy now?”
a moment of shocked silence followed your admission, the duo clearly not expecting such a straightforward response.
gojo’s laughter faded as he stood up straight, his smirk becoming more intrigued than mocking. “seriously?” he said, his eyes flickering between you and the guitar. “you really took his guitar just to mess with him? that’s ballsy.”
geto stayed quiet for a moment, eyeing you with a mix of surprise and admiration. “you really don’t like being pushed around, do you?” you crossed your arms and scowled at the two of them, clearly fed up with their reactions but unable to mask your irritation.
“hey, he was a bitch, okay?” you snapped. “he’s just lucky i only took his guitar and didn’t yank out all those hairs on his face. i’ve got more patience than he deserves.” gojo's grin returned, wider than before, clearly impressed by your audacity. “damn, you really don't hold back, do you?” he chuckled.
geto chuckled softly as well, shaking his head with a mix of amusement and disbelief. “never a dull moment with you around,” he muttered.
you shrugged, focusing on your digging as if the ground was the most fascinating thing you’d ever seen. “yeah, well, some of us don’t have time for polite small talk,” you said with a hint of a smile. “i prefer getting things done, even if it means ruffling a few feathers.”
you gave them a quick glance before returning to your work, feeling a bit more at ease now that you knew they weren’t completely against you.
despite their initial surprise, gojo and geto chuckled, clearly enjoying your defiant attitude. they exchanged amused glances.
“ruffling feathers is an understatement, i think,” gojo said, leaning back against the tree again. “you're more like a tornado that just blows through everything in sight.”
geto nodded in agreement, his smirk softening into a smile. “but it's definitely entertaining.” gojo snickered, leaning against the tree once more. “feisty, rude, and unpredictable,” he noted. “you're definitely a unique one, that's for sure.”
geto chuckled softly, looking at you with a hint of admiration in his gaze. “looks like there's more to you than meets the eye,” he said, a small smirk playing on his lips. you rolled your eyes, feigning annoyance at their comments, but deep down, a small part of you was secretly enjoying the attention. it was the first time they'd actually given you a compliment—even if it was backhanded—and it didn't completely suck.
“oh, please,” you muttered, digging with more force than needed. “don't suddenly start being nice to me—it's weird.”
but gojo just chuckled, undeterred by your dismissive tone. “oh, we're not being nice,” he teased. “we're just stating facts.”
geto nodded in agreement, a smile still on his face. “like it or not, you've caught our attention,“ he said, his tone playful. “you're not easy to ignore, you know.” you turned to face them, your cheeks flushed with a mix of irritation and embarrassment. your glare was as sharp as you demanded, “what’s that supposed to mean?”
gojo shrugged casually, clearly enjoying the effect his words were having on you. “it means you're interesting,” he said with a smirk. “we keep an eye on things that pique our interest.”
geto leaned against a tree opposite to gojo, his arms crossed as he added, “and you, y/n, have definitely piqued our interest.” you felt your eyes widen, and your cheeks started to heat up as the realization sank in. “shut up,” you muttered, trying to sound annoyed but unable to completely hide the embarrassment in your voice.
gojo chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “aw, looks like someone's blushing,” he teased, his smirk growing wider.
geto's smile turned into a soft chuckle as he watched you try to brush off their comments. “it's cute when you get flustered,” he remarked, his tone light and playful. you grumbled under your breath, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks as gojo and geto’s teasing continued. their comments were starting to get on your last nerve, and you were done playing along.
“yeah, yeah, laugh it up,” you muttered, barely hiding your irritation as you turned away from them.
without another word, you took the shovel and, with a determined swing, cut the guitar in two. the sound of the wood cracking echoed through the forest, and you threw the broken pieces into the hole, your actions rough and deliberate.
“take that, you old bitch,” you mumbled to yourself as you covered the hole with dirt, clearly imagining it was gakuganji’s neck you were burying instead.
gojo and geto stood there, watching your dramatic display with a mix of surprise and admiration. they had expected you to be defiant, but your fierce determination took them by surprise.
as the sound of the guitar splitting echoed through the forest, they exchanged amused glances. gojo's smirk widened, while geto chuckled, clearly entertained by your boldness. geto spoke up first, his voice filled with amusement. "that was certainly a... unique way to say 'fuck you,' wasn't it?"
gojo watched you with a mix of fascination and surprise, his usual smirk softened by a look of genuine admiration. he could practically hear his heart pounding in his ears as he took in your fierce, unapologetic display. it was like you had turned the whole situation into a dramatic, personal statement, and it had a profound effect on him.
his eyes were fixed on your form, and he felt a rush of excitement that he couldn't quite ignore. for a moment, the teasing and playful facade melted away, replaced by a deeper, more intense emotion. the raw intensity of your reaction had hit him harder than he expected, and he was almost afraid you’d notice just how much it affected him.
gojo nodded absentmindedly, still caught up in the rapid beat of his own heart. “yeah,” he said, his voice quieter than usual. “definitely one for the books.”
geto's smile widened as he noticed the subtle change in gojo's demeanor. he saw the way his smirk faded into something more sincere and felt the shift in the air. he knew gojo well enough to recognize when something had piqued his interest, and your defiant display had certainly done just that.
he glanced at gojo, a knowing look in his eyes, before turning his gaze back to you. “careful, satoru,” he teased, a sly smile on his lips. “you're looking a little smitten over there.”
you noticed gojo’s reaction before you heard geto’s teasing remark. the slight pink in his cheeks and the way his posture seemed a bit more tense caught your attention. even though you couldn’t see his eyes behind the dark glasses, you could tell from the way his expression had shifted that something was definitely different.
you gave gojo a look of disgust, clearly unimpressed by his sudden change in demeanor. “seriously?” you said, your voice dripping with annoyance. “what’s wrong with him?”
geto chuckled, enjoying the fact that you had noticed gojo's unease. he loved to see his friend squirm, especially when it came to matters of the heart.
"aw, don't be so hard on him,” he teased. “he's just experiencing some... unexpected emotions, that's all.” gojo shot geto a dirty look, silently signaling him to shut up, but geto just snickered and ignored his silent plea.
you maintained your disgusted expression as you took in the interaction between geto and gojo. yhe way geto was teasing gojo and the evident discomfort it caused him only added to your irritation.
“weirdo,” you muttered, shaking your head as you tossed the shovel to the ground with a clatter. you turned on your heel and started walking away, clearly done with the whole situation and eager to put some distance between yourself and the bizarre scene.
as you walked off, you could still hear geto’s laughter behind you, but you chose to ignore it, focusing instead on finding some semblance of normalcy away from their antics.
gojo's eyes followed you as you walked away, his demeanor still a mix of surprise and mild mortification.
“great,” he muttered, his voice laced with annoyance. “thanks for that, suguru.”
geto just shrugged, his smirk still in place. “what? i was just being honest. it's not my fault you have a thing for the feisty ones.” gojo shot geto another glare, his cheeks still slightly pink. “shut up,” he muttered, sounding more embarrassed than angry.
geto chuckled again, clearly enjoying the situation a bit too much. “oh come on, don’t deny it. i saw the look on your face. you were practically swooning.”
“i’m not,” gojo retorted, his voice coming out more defensive than he intended.
“you are,” geto insisted, grinning widely.
“i’m not,” gojo said again, his tone more strained as he tried to maintain his composure.
geto’s grin only widened at gojo’s weak protestations. he knew he had struck a nerve.
“oh, come on. you can’t fool me,” he said, his voice dripping with mockery. “i know the look of a smitten man when i see one. and you, my friend, are wearing it loud and clear.”
TREE AND TWO PARASITE
you sat under the tree, savoring the shade and the cool breeze against your skin. the popsicle in your hand was a perfect escape from the relentless heat, and you eagerly opened the package, snapping the plastic off with a quick twist. the moment the cold, sweet treat touched your tongue, a satisfied moan escaped your lips, the icy chill instantly refreshing.
you leaned back against the tree trunk, enjoying your brief moment of peace. you were supposed to be training with yaga’s curse doll, but you couldn’t be bothered—combat practice was the last thing you felt like doing today. you were perfectly content to hide out here, enjoying your popsicle and the quiet, far from yaga’s stern instructions and that annoying doll.
just as you were getting comfortable, you heard rustling nearby, but you ignored it, too caught up in the bliss of your popsicle to care who might be approaching.
as you were lost in the bliss of your moment, the sound of footsteps approached, followed by familiar voices. before you could even react, gojo and geto appeared out of nowhere, their presence instantly breaking your peaceful escape.
you groaned in annoyance, already expecting some kind of teasing from them. but what you didn’t expect was gojo leaning down with that stupid smirk of his and snatching your popsicle right out of your hand. without a second thought, he put it in his mouth, his grin widening as he enjoyed the stolen treat.
“are you serious?” you snapped, glaring up at gojo, who was clearly pleased with himself. the audacity of it made your blood boil, and you could see geto trying to stifle a laugh beside him, clearly enjoying the show.
“come on, satoru,” geto chuckled, giving him a playful shove. “you’re really gonna steal a popsicle from her?”
gojo just winked, still savoring the cold treat. “what? sharing is caring, right?” he said, voice muffled slightly by the popsicle, as if that made his actions any less infuriating. your annoyance only grew as geto chimed in, clearly finding the situation hilarious. gojo’s cocky demeanor made you want to punch him in his smug face.
you crossed your arms, glaring daggers at him. “oh, come on,” you snapped. “that’s mine!”
but gojo just chuckled, shamelessly enjoying his stolen popsicle. “finders keepers,” he said through his smug smile, his fingers holding loosely around your popsicle.
you huffed, eyes narrowing at gojo as he shamelessly continued to enjoy your popsicle. the audacity was enough to make your blood boil, and you were done playing along with their annoying antics. without missing a beat, you reached over and snatched the popsicle right out of gojo’s hand, earning a surprised look from him.
“this is mine,” you said firmly, taking a deliberate lick of the popsicle as if to prove your point. “if you want one, buy it yourself.” your glare dared him to argue, and you could see geto stifling a laugh at gojo’s expense.
gojo couldn't hide his surprise at your boldness. he had expected you to protest and whine, not take back your popsicle with such determination. and the way you took a defiant lick, without a care in the world, was both irritating and admirable.
he glanced at geto, clearly annoyed at the amused look on his friend's face. gojo opened his mouth to say something, but geto beat him to it.
“oh, looks like she’s not messing around,” he teased, a wide grin on his face. you rolled your eyes at geto’s comment, not in the mood to entertain their teasing any longer. with a deep sigh, you finally turned your attention to them, still holding your popsicle like a prized possession. “why are you guys even here?” you asked, annoyance lacing your tone.
as they sat down, you noticed gojo positioning himself beside you—way too close for comfort. you didn’t even realize how close until your shoulder brushed against his. you flinched slightly, your personal space suddenly feeling invaded.
gojo, seemingly unfazed, leaned back casually, his shoulder still lightly pressed against yours. “what, can’t we just hang out?” he said with that insufferable smirk, as if he owned the world and everything in it.
geto leaned back against the tree, clearly enjoying the dynamic. “yeah, we figured you could use some company, y’know? since you’re so ‘busy’ running from training,” he added with a chuckle.
you shot gojo a quick glare, scooting away just a bit to reclaim some space. “if i wanted company, i wouldn’t be hiding out here,” you mumbled, taking another lick of your popsicle, as if to reclaim the moment they interrupted.
as you shifted away to maintain at least a hint of personal space, gojo’s smirk only widened. he chuckled at your attempt to distance yourself, clearly enjoying your stubborn defiance.
“aww, don’t be like that,” he teased, leaning in closer again. “you know you love our company.”
geto just chuckled and shook his head, finding the whole scene amusing. “he has a point, y/n,” he joked. “we’re pretty entertaining, you have to admit that.” you let out an exasperated sigh, rolling your eyes as gojo leaned in even closer, completely disregarding your obvious need for space. you turned your head, giving him a flat, unimpressed look before shifting your gaze to geto, who seemed all too amused by the whole situation.
“no, you two are not entertaining,” you snapped, your voice dripping with sarcasm. “if anything, you two are going to go down in history as the world’s biggest idiots.”
you took another defiant bite of your popsicle, savoring the cold sweetness while ignoring the way gojo’s shoulder brushed against yours yet again. gojo’s smirk morphed into a full grin, not at all bothered by your insult. in fact, he seemed to thrive on your defiant attitude. he leaned in even closer, his shoulder still pressing against yours despite your obvious discomfort.
“oh, wow. harsh,” he remarked, his voice dripping with amusement. “aren’t you just a ray of sunshine today?”
geto chuckled and chimed in, clearly enjoying the exchange. “yeah, you do seem a bit prickly today, y/n. what’s got you in such a grumpy mood?” you raised an eyebrow, fixing both gojo and geto with a serious, unamused expression. their teasing was getting old, and you weren’t in the mood for their games. gojo’s smug grin and geto’s easy laughter only fueled your irritation.
“seriously?” you said flatly, your gaze shifting between the two of them. “you two are the reason.”
you held their stare, refusing to back down or give them the reaction they were fishing for. “maybe if you both found something better to do than annoy me every chance you get, i wouldn’t be in such a ‘grumpy mood,’” you added, your tone laced with sarcasm.
gojo chuckled in response to your flat tone, clearly loving the fact that he was getting under your skin. “aww, don’t blame us for your bad mood,” he said, his voice oozing with mock innocence. “we’re just here to brighten your day.”
geto chimed in, his smirk mirroring gojo’s. “yeah, we’re just spreading a bit of joy and cheer.” the two of them chuckled at each other, obviously enjoying the effect they were having on you.
you rolled your eyes, thoroughly annoyed by their nonchalant attitude. “yeah, because being a major pain in my ass is such a great way to spread joy and cheer.”
gojo’s smirk only grew wider at your biting remark. he found your feisty side downright amusing. “oh, come on. you know you love it when we annoy you.” geto chimed in, clearly enjoying the exchange. “yeah, your grumpy little huffs and eye rolls are the highlight of my day.”
gojo chuckled, his smirk still firmly in place. “and don’t forget your adorable little scowls,” he added, his voice filled with mockery. you let out a heavy sigh, your patience wearing thin with their constant teasing. “so annoying,” you mumbled under your breath, leaning back against the tree with an exaggerated roll of your eyes.
despite your words, there was a small part of you that didn’t mind their company as much as you pretended to. but admitting that, even to yourself, was a hit to your pride that you weren’t willing to take.
you crossed your arms and stared up at the sky, trying to ignore the way gojo’s presence lingered too close, and how geto’s laugh seemed to fill the space around you. it was frustrating how they managed to worm their way into your day, no matter how hard you tried to keep your distance.
gojo chuckled at your mumbled complaint, not buying your exasperated act for a second. he had known you long enough to catch the subtle hints that you weren’t as annoyed as you were trying to appear.
he leaned in even closer, his shoulder still touching yours. “aww, don’t be like that. you know you love having us around.”
geto chuckled at the exchange, clearly enjoying the back and forth between the two of you. “yeah, admit it. we’re the best part of your day.” you couldn’t help but chuckle, a small, genuine smile tugging at your lips despite your best efforts to stay annoyed. you shook your head slightly, glancing between the two of them, their expectant faces so full of mischief and teasing.
“yeah, right,” you scoff, rolling your eyes playfully but unable to keep the warmth out of your voice. they both grinned, knowing they had managed to break through your defenses, even if just a little.
gojo and geto exchanged a knowing glance, clearly pleased with themselves for making you crack a smile. they knew they were slowly chipping away at your stubborn exterior.
gojo leaned in even closer, his arm brushing against yours. “see, you do like having us around,” he said with a smirk, enjoying the way he was able to get under your skin without even trying. geto chuckled and nodded in agreement. “yeah, we’re growing on you like a fungus.”
you rolled your eyes, trying to ignore the heat creeping up your cheeks as gojo leaned even closer, his presence both irritating and oddly comforting.
“please, shut up,” you muttered, turning your gaze away, but the slight upturn of your lips betrayed your attempt to seem unbothered. gojo and geto shared a knowing look, both of them clearly amused by your reaction. they could tell that you were trying to hide your feelings, but they weren’t buying it for a second. the way your cheeks blushed gave you away.
“aww, look at that,” gojo teased, his smirk widening. “our little grouch is blushing.” geto chuckled and nodded. “yeah, i bet she secretly loves our company.”
you let out a huff, deciding not to dignify their teasing with a response. instead, you shifted slightly between them, settling onto the grass and lying down with your back to grass. closing your eyes, you block out their smug expressions, feeling the warmth of the sun on your face.
“i’m going to take a nap,” you announced, your voice muffled by the wind. “be useful for once and don’t let yaga find me.” they can clearly see the exhausted in your face, the bag under your eyes. their heart softens as they take the sight of you between them, deciding to stop teasing you for a while and let you rest.
gojo and geto exchanged a brief look at your sudden change in behavior. they could both pick up on your exhaustion, the bags under your eyes all the tell-tale sign that you hadn’t been getting enough rest.
they both silently agreed to back off on the teasing for the moment, knowing you needed a break. gojo sat back a bit, giving you some breathing room, while geto settled on his back, resting his arms behind his head. “alright, get some rest,” gojo said, his voice softer than usual. “we’ll keep an eye out for yaga.”
the two of them settled into a comfortable silence, both of them quietly observing you as you laid between them, your eyes closed in exhaustion.
gojo quietly observed your sleeping face, taking in the way your features looked uncharacteristically relaxed in sleep. he found himself thinking, for a moment, how oddly peaceful you looked when you weren’t bickering with him.
geto glanced over at gojo, noticing the soft look on his face, and chuckled quietly to himself. he had seen that look before and he knew exactly what it meant.

Tumblr media
"Hey Deucy, don’t ya think the butterflies like Yuu a bit too much? No, scratch that—they’re totally borderline obsessed."
Deuce could only glance in the direction his companion was nodding at, curiosity tugging at him. There, in the distance of the Heartslabyul garden, stood Yuu, butterflies dancing around them in an elegant choreography. Some perched atop their head, while others rested on the blades of their shoulders.
It was almost beautiful—if not for the fact that it somehow reminded Deuce of how flies desperately clung to rotting organic trash in the dumpsite he and his old (former) friends used to hang around.
He coughed into his palm, composing himself.
‘How morbid,’ he thought.
"Maybe it’s their perfume or something."
"...Do you really think our dear I-don’t-have-budget-to-buy-a-toothbrush Prefect has the luxury to buy perfume? Let alone one that attracts butterflies like crazy?"
Touché.
The two continued their playful banter as they set up tables for the upcoming Unbirthday Party. They were so caught up in their verbal sparring that they didn’t notice two upperclassmen approaching.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! If it isn’t the Adeuce duo working hard! Didn’t know you two were on duty today. Lemme guess—you made Riddle mad again, huh?" Cater flashed a grin, positioning his phone before snapping a quick picture of the pair. "There. For documentation—proof of your hard work to show Dormhead!"
"Hey!—"
"At least warn us before you take a picture!"
Trey sighed, watching the three of them bicker. "Don’t bully the freshmen too much, Cater."
"Speaking of freshies, where’s Yuu? I thought I heard Grimmy’s voice earlier while passing by."
"Oh, Yuu? They’re over there." Ace lazily gestured toward the school’s Prefect. "They’re kinda... out of it right now, so I wouldn’t get too close if I were you," he added, trying (and failing) to suppress the worry in his voice.
"Out of it?" Trey repeated, frowning.
Four pairs of eyes turned toward the figure in the distance. Yuu stood eerily still, like a statue, their eyes devoid of emotion as they gazed into the horizon. They seemed utterly unfazed by the butterflies swarming around them.
"Wow, ain’t that a Magicam-able sight," Cater murmured. "Yuu-chan really is a butterfly whisperer, huh?"
"I knew they had an affinity for butterflies, but never this extreme," Trey mused, cupping his chin as he recalled past encounters with the Prefect. Ever since he’d met Yuu, there had always been a butterfly or two flitting nearby. His first memory of it was when Yuu and the freshmen duo had returned from the Botanical Garden.
Trey’s brow quirked as he noticed two butterflies circling the Prefect. "Looks like you’ve got a new companion," he’d joked back then.
Yuu had given a grim smile, shrugging tiredly. "Seems like it," they’d said.
Even now, Trey remembered the peculiar look in their eyes. Yuu always had that expression—their smiles never reaching their blank, dead-fish eyes.
"Stupid bugs!" Grim had complained that day, pumping his paws in frustration. "These dumb things have been following my henchman ever since we came back from the mines! I thought we lost ’em, but the moment my henchman stepped into the Botanical Garden, more of them showed up!"
Ever since Riddle’s overblot, more and more butterflies seemed to flock to Yuu. Now, whenever the Prefect stood still in an open space, a swarm of butterflies would gather, their numbers growing the longer Yuu remained stationary.
Like flies buzzing around a rotting cor—
"What’s with all this commotion?!" a familiar voice barked, cutting through Trey's thoughts. "I’d appreciate it if the four of you finished your tasks instead of loitering. Especially you two dimwits who skipped cleaning duty yesterday."
"GAH!"
"D-Dormhead!"
"Riddle..." Trey muttered in surprise. The Heartslabyul Dormhead stood with his arms crossed, his gaze sharp and judgmental.
"Morning, Rids! We were just talking about our dear Prefect over there and the mystery of why the butterflies are crowding around them like a bunch of crazy paparazzi," Cater chimed in with his usual cheeky grin.
Riddle’s brows furrowed as he followed their line of sight. "My, there are more of them than usual," he remarked, his tone curious. "And all the same species..." he added, almost to himself, though the others heard him.
"Species?"
"Yes. I’ve been researching the insects attracted to Yuu. It’s been a personal curiosity of mine to figure out why they’re so drawn to them. At first, I thought it was due to sweat—"
"Sweat? That’s gross," Ace interrupted with a mock gag.
"Yes, sweat," Riddle repeated, unimpressed. "Some butterfly species are attracted to sodium, which is why they’re sometimes drawn to humans. But Yuu never seems to be sweating during these incidents. That led me to believe they might be secreting some sort of pheromone undetectable to humans. But when I asked a beastman—your friend Jack—he said he smelled nothing."
"Wow... you really did your research, huh," Deuce muttered, blinking in amazement.
"It’s hardly anything substantial. I’m still stumped as to why this phenomenon occurs. However, during one of my reading sessions, I came across something... surprising."
"Surprising? How so?"
"Did you know that some butterfly species—like the ones hovering around Yuu—are attracted to and feast on the fluids of decaying corpses?"

ᥫ᭡ 𝐬𝐨... 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐰?
— where satoru comforts you after breaking up with toji
gojo being lowkey yandere, fem reader, toji is the ex, mentions of baby trapping, reader is older, gojo calls her senpai (almost as a mock), classroom smut, fingering, gojo has to wear a condom and he hates it, he’s also a bit pathetic and in love, reader is a bit of bitch. 4k (this was supposed to be drabble idk what happened)
Tumblr media
“i know what you’re thinking” gojo’s voice breaks the silence in the classroom where you were supposed to be grading papers but instead has been looking through the window for god knows how long now.
the sudden appearing happens after gojo catches your lost gaze on the field some of his students were training at. he saw your profile looking down at your desk, then after a few minutes you looked through the window until your eyes set on gojo’s protégée and the son of the man that broke your heart.
“but if you keep up with that megumi will get creeped out by you” gojo simply manifested in your classroom as soon as he realized you would stay in trance not even noticing your fellow teacher staring back at you from below.
“whatever, he never liked me anyways” you brush off, then remember what he said before, “and what the hell makes you think you know what i’m thinking?”
“ah, you forgot? i have an eye or six for this sorta thing” he points to his blindfold.
“you saying you can read minds now, you freak?” your relationship with satoru always had that dynamic. toji usually got very annoyed whenever he was in the same room as the two of you, he tried to pull you away or make an excuse for you two to go back to his place. deep down you knew he felt some type of way whenever you and satoru banter like that.
“please you’re so transparent i wonder how megumi haven’t seen it yet, i'm concerned that he might need glasses…”
“just say what you wanna say, satoru.”
gojo, on the other hand, didn’t need an instinct to see how jealous and possessive toji could be when he was around. all that gojo needed to say was one word to trigger the old man.
“every time you see megumi you think about him, don’t ya?” he takes a step in your direction while you sink in your chair looking away, “senpai.”
gojo never showed respect for anyone, he was scolded several times by yaga because of it, utahime tried to hit him whenever she could, demanding formal treatment since she was his upperclassmen. but you, for whatever reason he decided, was the only one he used the honorific with.
“he’s his kid, of course i’ll—“
“ever since i heard about your breakup you’ve been acting like everything is fine, except for when you see megumi, then you frown,” gojo extends his index and taps the space between your eyebrows “and your cursed energy increases” he then sits on your desk looking down at you, “don’t tell me megumi had anything to do with why toji—“
“of course not” you stop him, although megumi was never fond of you, you know he’s a good kid and wouldn’t try to get in the way of your relationship with his father. as far as you know, he’s not particularly close to his old man either. actually, anything related to toji — bets, races, you — is automatically disregarded by him.
“then you gotta stop looking at him like he did something, or before you realize your energy towards him will become hostile and i can’t let that happen” gojo’s tone became more severe, it’s one of those rare times where he drops the playful persona in order to get serious. truthfully, megumi did nothing, but you can't unsee toji when you look at him, especially after seeing what your ex-boyfriend used to look like in the old days when he showed you some photos. it never occurred to you before, since you barely saw megumi anyways, you're not his sensei and in your free time you were with toji so there wasn't much time to get to know megumi since they don’t live together since the boy was five. you suppose gojo is right, pushing your hurt feelings away only makes them come out stronger when you see anything that reminds you of toji.
“that’s not gonna happen, i have my energy under control” you cross your arms, feeling exposed under gojo’s gaze even through the mask.
he stays quiet for a second, then his annoying tone is back.
“what did you even see in him anyways? he’s definitely not a good guy.”
“that’s rude, toji is—“
“did you think you could change him or something?”
“i— no, why—“
“from what megumi said he was cheap as fuck so it was definitely not the money” he rubs his chin.
“gojo, i swear—“
“was it the sex?”
you widen your eyes and close your mouth, not having a simple answer for that.
“jackpot” satoru whispers.
“fuck off, satoru” you raise from your seat but he raises too, blocking your way and trapping you against the black board and his body.
“you stayed with that guy for years just for the sex?” he has a mocking tone that makes your blood boil.
“no! and that’s none of your goddamn business.”
“and you’ve broken up, what? two months ago? you’ve been all this time without sex?” you raise your hand ready to slap his face or punch his nose but he sees your movements faster and catches your wrist, “don’t be like that senpai, your energy is getting hostile again” he takes all the time in the world lowering his blindfold and letting his hair fall down while staring at you with those freaking blue eyes, “although, on second thought i think that might be mmm… sexual frustration? it’s a color i never seen in you before” he grabs your wrist firmly.
“you don’t know what you’re saying.”
“oh but i do, senpai. i’m just wondering how you haven’t downloaded a dating app or tried to rub one off yet” gojo knows exactly which buttons to press to make you wanna stab him, or worst, make you wanna fuck him.
gojo gets closer to your face, so close you can smell his aftershave, and just the realization that it’s a different scent from the one you were so used to makes your heart ache and your clit throb.
“or did you?” he’s fast, gojo catches your phone on top of the table putting it right in front of your face to unlock then moving away from you to check it, “definitely no dating apps” you yell his name and try to snatch your phone back but he puts infinity on and you can’t reach him, “browser history?”
“satoru, you have no right, gimme that” your face is hot with shame.
“nothing either, well i suppose your camera roll…”
“no!”
“aha” he deactivates the invisible shield and right when you think you can retrieve your phone he turns you around, holding your arms behind your back and pressing your back against his chest, “is that what you use to get off?” he puts the phone in front of you, it’s opened in the gallery, more specifically in a part filled with lewd videos and photos.
“not bad, you could make some cash outta this” gojo puts his chin on your shoulder, playing a video which clearly was filmed by toji, his dick is getting in and out of you from behind, he gets a close look with the phone, his glistening dick shining under the flashlight while your pussy stretches to accommodate him. you press your legs together remembering the feeling, you’re not even struggling to get out of gojo’s hold by the time the video ends.
“you don’t need to get off by yourself, you know?” he smells your hair and kisses your ear, “it’s not like we haven’t done it before.”
“that was forever ago” you reply, at the time you thought satoru was going to use that against you, just waiting for an opportunity to drop that bomb on toji’s lap and proudly say he fucked his girlfriend before, but whatever image you had of him back then was proved wrong since no one knows about your little escape with gojo till this very day.
“and wasn’t it good? huh?” he presses, sucking the spot on your neck that has you throwing your head back.
“yeah, it was” you confess, too sensible from the light touches to rethink your answers.
“see? i can make you feel good so you don’t become a little monster” he trails his hand on your thigh, pushing your skirt up until he finds your underwear, playing with the hem to tease you then pressing a finger on your clit.
“so charitable of you” you mumble sarcastically.
“i would gladly do this favor to you” he replies in the same tone, “even though you still own me.”
“for what?!” you close your legs around his hand turning your head around to look him in the face, not even considering a world where satoru did you any favors.
“for raising your boyfriend’s son? you really think you would’ve had a sex life with an eight year old summoning pets around the house?” he raises an eyebrow.
“don’t pretend like you did that out of the goodness in your heart, if megumi didn’t have the ten shadows you wouldn’t have bat an eye if toji sold him to the zenin’s or whomever.”
“you sound just like him” gojo’s eyes get darker, now he has your clit slowly rolling between his thumb and index over your underwear.
“besides— hng i came in the picture years after you took megumi… so don’t blame me” you wiggle your ass on his crotch.
“a ‘thank you my favourite kohai’ wouldn’t hurt” you sincerely laugh at that, never thinking of satoru as your underclassmen since that fucking minx is everyone’s exception on their cursed technique due to how powerful he is, so him being below you somehow was never a posibility, at least not strength wide.
satoru pushes your underwear to the side, rubbing the wetness all over your pussy and teasing your entrance.
“five years” you murmur as he inserts a finger then pulls it back to join his middle one too and go back in.
“hm?” satoru gets quieter, after talking so much and having so many things to say you’re surprised he stayed silent for a whole minute.
“last time you fucked me, it was five years ago” you get comfortable on his hold, his leg is between yours, serving as support for you to lean on while he scissors you.
“that long huh…” he sounds… sad? no, maybe nostalgic.
“crazy, right? so much has—“ you sigh when he curls his fingers, “changed.”
satoru take a long sniff of your hair, keeping a pleasing rhythm with his hand, it feels like giving someone a massage. he could go crazy and have you stripped out of your uniform a while ago, fucked you on your desk and left after marking your body and giving your ass a mean slap.
he could still do that, but whatever feeling bloomed in his chest has him enjoying this moment with you in his hold, stroking your insides and smelling your shampoo while discreetly rocking his hips on your behind for some relief.
he almost feels sleepy, the relaxed state has his mind going other places. he thinks of a world where he can tease you under your uniform every other day, you would tell him the school is no such a place for that then the day ends and you go home with him, holding hands, and finally when you arrive home he gets to finish what he started. then, he cooks whatever quick meal he can find the ingredients for since he knows you don't like to cook, afterwards you fall asleep on his lap on the couch as he strokes your hair, your belly is full, your heart is warm, you feel loved and he feels—
“toru~” he comes out of the trance he fell at when you call for him, he thinks for a second you were calling his name cause you felt he was off, but in reality you were calling him cause you are getting close, “right there” your breathy moans makes gojo smile and kiss your temple.
“where? here?” he pretends to not know, when the truth is he never actually forgot after your first time together, “right here, senpai?”
“y-yeah” you throw your head back, shutting your eyes to give in to the orgasm. gojo looks down at your pretty face, he feels the urge to kiss you right now, but he wants you to ask for it first. your walls clench around his fingers, he strokes that spot sweetly, like he's caressing a pet.
which is an ironic comparison since he’s the one that would gladly accept being your pet.
when you open your eyes gojo is staring at you silently through half lid eyes, it is truly a shame that he keeps those hidden for so long.
“desk, now” you demand needly.
“yes ma'am” gojo picks you up easily, moving the papers on top of the table to the floor.
you immediately go for his belt, choosing not to comment on the wet spot on his pants.
you feel a pressure on your chin as he guides your head up to look at him.
“ask me” he pleads.
“for what?”
“for a kiss” you smile, looking at his lips and how inviting they look. you ponder if you should tease him for it, since he's been teasing you with words a lot today, but then you chose to comply, despite going through your phone without our permission and claiming your frustration comes from lack of dick, he's actually being good to you.
“gimme a kiss” you raise your chin higher, he gazes at your lips and eyes, looking for something other than lust, yet he gives in, sealing your lips with his trying to keep his mind away from thinking of the man that had your lips previous to him. and how dumb that motherfucker is to let you go.
gojo's lips are soft, he starts gently which feels foreign to you, but it doesn't take long before his hand presses your lower back, pulling you closer until his cock hits your clothed cunt. the warmth he feels is enough to relish the passion in him, he kisses you harder, tongue intruding your mouth like he's trying to devour you.
the wet kiss also awakens your urge for him, you pull his cock from his underwear in the tiny space between his and your crotch, the second it's out it's already against your folds, the leaking tip hot against your skin.
“nuh-uh you better have a rubber” you push your knee onto gojo’s pelvis when he starts to rub himself on you to spread your wetness on his shaft.
“did you make toji wear one too?” he raises a questionable eyebrow at you, willing to bet all his heritage on the answer.
“he had to earn that privilege” you reach for gojo’s wallet, not failing to notice the black cards and considerable amount of cash, “i don’t know what you do after 6 so…” you take the packs, ripping it open yourself and rolling on him. with a face and body like his you doubt gojo spends most nights by himself.
“unbelievable…”
“satoru” you warn stroking him slowly, “can i get another kiss?” you bat your lashes. gojo comes closer, his nose even touches yours, then you feel his hands on your waist, turning you around till your elbows and chest are against the table and your skirt is being flipped over, underwear pushed down.
“you have to earn it, senpai” he spits the words against your ear as he pushes his dick into you. until a few moments ago, satoru was composed, happy to accept whatever crumbles you chose to give him. you managed to trigger him by saying toji still had something he couldn't have.
he's still gonna go through this — that's how whipped he is for you — though now he’ll be less gentle.
his cockhead hits your spot, nothing accidental of course, satoru knows your spots like the back of his hand. you whine and arch your back, satoru pouts realizing he won't get to suck some hickeys on the skin of your back and shoulder, not now at least, but the night is young.
“c'mon satoru, don't be like that” you look over your shoulder, licking your lips at the sight of him sweaty, flushed and frowny.
the sound of his name in your voice makes him want to cum on the spot, he dips his head on your neck sighing, not stopping thrusting your behind. he wanted to feel you so badly, why the fuck did you make him wear a condom? he's clean, of course he is, he's gojo satoru for heaven's sake! even viruses are afraid of him.
or was it something else you feared?
“hey… you on the pill?” he lifts his head slightly, his voice still muffled by the material of your dress.
“you’re not fucking me raw, satoru.”
“just wondering… you said you didnt wear a condom with him, so what kept you from getting knocked up?” he wiggles his hand between you and the surface of your table till hes palming your belly.
“you keep bringing toji up a lot, obsessed much?” you tease him, avoiding the answer, gojo pinches your clit.
“please, he wishes. now tell me. iud? implant? injections?” you push him away turning around then pulling him back.
“okay, you clearly had sex ed classes, now shut up and fuck me right” gojo takes your leg and places on his shoulder, you bite your fist to contain your moan, the new position makes easier for him to nudge your clit with his pelvis.
“i could be fucking you better, you know how?” he bites the skin of your leg, not harshly but enough to make you yelp, he smiles, giving a particular hard thrust that makes your eyes roll.
“condom stay on, satoru, i can’t risk getting preg—“ you slap your mouth. satoru stops.
“you’re not… on anything?”
“listen you can’t tell anyone about this, okay?” you cover your face, “i had a pregnancy scare a few years ago so… gosh why am i even telling you this…”
“go on” gojo massages your thigh.
“toji got a vasectomy. birth control wasn’t working for me anymore and it was only a matter of time before— well it doesn't matter. you can see why you have to use it right?” you place your elbows on the table, sitting up enough to see the look on his face, it’s not what your expected to see.
satoru looks like a child that just found out where his parents keep all the sweets. he’s grinning, dick throbbing.
“yeah, i see now” he bends, holding your neck and kissing you, he makes the kiss feel like a ‘thank you for trusting me’ but if this was a cartoon his shadow would have horns and a pointy tail.
all he can think now is exactly how to make you his, he can sweet talk you into allowing him to hit it raw, promising to pull it out, then… whoopsie.
the new discovery gives him a different kind of stamina.
“don’t worry, your secret is safe with me” he kisses your cheek after leaving you breathless.
he plunges in and out, a rhythm that has you seeing stars. gojo craves you so much, he’s quite bothered by all the clothes and the need to keep it down, otherwise he would have torn your dress apart and have you screaming by now.
“fuck— keep doing that” you run your nails on his undercut, gojo mewls and take your other leg, pushing it further to go deeper. he sees the white ring around his cock, getting high on the sigh of it combined with your pussy illuminated by the natural light coming from the window behind him.
he wonders if toji ever fucked you in a classroom like this, then he shakes his head, not allowing the image to form in his mind, instead he focus on you, and how your pretty face contorts as your orgasm approaches once again.
“so fucking pretty” he whispers quietly.
you attempt to lower your legs. feeling it’s gonna be too much.
“nuh-uh keep them here” he pushes back, “so tight” he closes his eyes.
you’re a moaning mess at this point, almost forgetting where you are.
“that’s right, let it go baby” your legs shake as your orgasm hits you, satoru can see the shape of your cursed energy peaking then getting softer.
he fucks you a little more, trying not to think about the condom trapping his dream of knocking you up.
god, you would look so fucking gorgeous carrying his baby, all round up for him to showcase around. he would do anything for you, you wouldn’t have to lift a finger.
if only…
“fuck“ he fucks his load — into the condom unfortunately.
after the initial high goes away he starts to hear his students asking where he went and why he’s taking so long, “wait here, i’ll take you home.”
“you don’t have to” you smile, poking his cheek.
“oh i do, i’m not done with you” he takes your hand from his nape and gives it a kiss before pulling out and throwing that despicable rubber into the bin, making a mental note to empty that bin outside where the evidence of what happened between two teachers is not so easily discoverable.
you sit up adjusting your dress and looking around, “did you see my…”
“nope” gojo leaves the classroom pushing the material of your panties further into his pocket.
gojo had the weekend of his dreams, he convinced you to stay in his place that night and the next one too, he rubbed your sore legs after you came so much you were spasming then made you breakfast, it almost made him believe of a happy ending for the two of you.
a dream that was shattered when, a few days later you returned from a mission and stood by the entrance of the school kissing… toji.
gojo watches the scene from above, a frown on his face.
“yeah i was surprised too” he almost forgot that megumi was with him, “thought she finally created some sense” he confesses.
gojo doesn’t say anything, he watches silently as you tiptoe to kiss toji, the fucker doesn’t even hold you right, he keeps his hand in his pockets and lets you with all the effort.
“meet you in the classroom in five” gojo disappears from megumi’s sight.
on your way to report your mission to yaga you see satoru leaning against a tree. you say his name in a surprised manner, not having prepared what to tell him beforehand.
“listen, i— hm… i thought you should know that toji and i are back, so—”
“did you tell him?” his arms are crossed.
“about… us? of course not.”
“why? don’t you think he should know?” you hear the challenge in his tone.
“no, and you’re not gonna say a word to him either” you step closer to him, trying to look intimidating which can be difficult due to the height difference, “may i remind you that between the three of us there’s a teen boy who would not appreciate the drama.”
“look at you, using fushiguro as an scapegoat” he smiles at the look of anger forming on your features, “it’s fine, i’m just a bit surprised at how quick you were to go back to him, that’s all.”
“let’s be real, satoru. it’s not like you were going to take me on a date or anything” gojo pulls you by your wrist, your body hits his, the sudden proximity has your eyes widening, anyone could see you and take the wrong conclusion. i mean, it wouldn’t be wrong but you didn’t want any conclusions to be taken for that matter.
“this is not going to be the last time and i don’t give a damn if you’re dating him or married or widowed.”
“satoru!” you shout his name in a whisper, immediately rejecting the idea of becoming a widow.
“you can tell toji or not, i don’t mind fighting him” he pushes himself out of the tree and past you. megumi is grown now, of course he still needs a lot of coaching regarding his skills, but emotionally speaking, he’s been a grown up since he was six.
before going to his classroom as promised, he teleports himself to yours, picking up the bouquet he left at your desk then teleporting to the fountain across the campus where he rips the paper that holds the flowers together and lets it all fall into the water.
satoru watches it for a moment, hurt but still decided to go through with his plan.
he wonders what would you tell toji if you got pregnant, maybe you could convince him the child is his, a miracle. then when the kid comes out with white hair and blue eyes you’ll have no choice other than be with him, the father of your child, the man who truly loves you. gojo satoru.

one.
Fushiguro Megumi is many things. To begin with, he's a talented jujutsu sorcerer, proven time and time again by the missions he gets sent on. He's also intelligent, observant not only in battle but also when it comes to others, always able to tell when something's wrong. However, his most noticeable trait, according to Itadori and Kugisaki, is that he's extremely secretive.
It's not a bad thing, not to him. There are better things to do with his time than sit and discuss his life story with his classmates, even though he thinks that Gojo might say otherwise just to piss him off.
Besides, keeping details about his life private means that no one can use any of his weaknesses against him. And that's especially handy considering that one of his weaknesses is you.
He's not exactly sure when it started. Maybe it was the day that Gojo sent him to pick you up at the train station alone, claiming that he had important business to attend to and that it was the least that Megumi could do considering the fact that Gojo had been going on so many missions lately.
Or maybe it was the day the two of you had been assigned your first mission together. You had been kind to him even when he remained cold and silent, eventually catching onto the fact that he didn't want to make small talk before switching the conversation to the mission at hand.
He had been mildly surprised when you came up with a foolproof plan to exorcise the curse, and the mission had gone according to plan with the exception of a gash on his upper arm. When you had knelt down to check on him, you had gently brushed him off, smiling widely as you complimented his technique and pet one of his divine dogs.
"Come on, let's get you back so that Shoko can check that out," you had said, gently grabbing his hand and pulling him to his feet. He had stumbled slightly upon standing, prompting you to wrap an arm around his waist to try and steady him. "Are you alright, Fushiguro?"
In that moment, Megumi couldn't stop the light blush that dusted his cheeks as he pulled away slightly, stating that he was fine and ready to go. Neither one of you chose to mention the fact that his hand didn't leave yours on the way back to Jujutsu Tech.
Ever since that day, he seemed to be hyperaware of your presence. If he was busy training with the upperclassmen and you happened to walk by, he knew. And he often ended up getting knocked down on his ass because of it. It bothered him to no end, and yet he couldn't bring himself to say that he hated it. Seeing your smile quickly became the highlight of his day, and he often found himself staring at you whenever you were around him.
Much like he was doing so at the moment.
"Eh? Fushiguro, what are you doing?" Nobara asks, leaning over to catch a glimpse of his face. Megumi scowls as Nobara's face comes into view, tearing his eyes away from where you were standing a few feet away with Maki.
"Nothing," he replies instantly, shoving his hands into his pockets as Nobara keeps talking. She goes quiet when Maki calls out both of their names, being met with a grin from her as she throws an arm around your shoulder.
"Good news!" Maki proclaims, smirking at the approaching first years. "I've just found our last team member for the exchange event. From now on, they'll be training with us."
Nobara cheers loudly as Maki gives you a friendly pat on the back, the two girls walking off towards the field and leaving you alone with Megumi. He meets your eyes as you approach him, a teasing smile on your lips as you elbow him lightly.
"How lucky are you?" you tease as the two of begin to follow after Maki and Nobara. "Now you get to see my pretty face more often!"
"That's the problem," Megumi mutters as he came to a stop, sighing softly at your statement. He could already feel himself getting distracted during training, and he didn't want to think about the punishment that Maki would surely give him is he allowed himself to get distracted at the actual event.
"What was that?"
He straightens when he hears your voice, shooting you a strained smile as he catches up with you. "Hmm? Nothing."
You give him a funny look as you start walking again, the two of you being met with the sight of Panda and Nobara facing off against each other as you approach the field. A giggle escapes your lips as you watch Panda toss Nobara around, and Megumi can't stop the fond smile that spreads across his face as he watches you.
"Well, that fight's over," Maki says with a grin before motioning to you. "You're up."
"Against who?" you ask, shrugging off your jacket and letting it drop to the floor. The grin on Maki's face turns almost evil, and Megumi fights off a shiver as she shifts her gaze towards him.
"Against Megumi. Who else?"
Megumi trudges towards you as Nobara and Panda arrive at Maki's side, and he finds himself growing tense at the thought of fighting against you in front of everyone.
"Excited?" you ask, a grin present on your face as you stretch your arms. Megumi responds with a silent nod, feeling his cheeks grow warm as you study him from head to toe before nodding to yourself.
"Are you two ready?" Maki shouts, arms crossed as she looks at the two of you. The two of you give her a thumbs up, and she nods at the sight before waving a hand. "Begin."
To say that Megumi is shocked when you manage to take him down in less than five minutes would be a lie. Everyone else however, is surprised at the outcome and Megumi can't hide the embarrassment on his face as he walks back to the sidelines. He comes to a stop when Maki grabs his arm gently, pulling him close to whisper in his ear before he can get too far.
"I hope that your personal feelings won't be an issue the actual day of the tournament."
Megumi pauses, scowling at her and ignoring the smirk on her face before pulling away and taking a seat a few feet away. His eyes remain on you for the rest of training, and he does his best to ignore the fact that he can feel Nobara's curious gaze burning into him.
"You're doing it again," Nobara sings, bouncing up to Megumi when the training session ends. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you were staring at them the whole time."
"Good thing you know better then," Megumi bites back, hoping that Nobara hasn't noticed the way he flinched at her words. (She has.) Nobara laughs as she pushes past Megumi, walking up to you and proceeding to strike up a conversation. The two of you look over at Megumi before turning back to each other, causing Megumi's heart to speed up the slightest bit. He watches as you walk past him, giving him a soft smile as you made your way to the dorms.
Nobara gives him a simple thumbs up as she trails after you.

two.
Things had been... complicated since Yuuji's death, and neither Megumi, Nobara, or you had found the time to truly sit around and mourn.
Training for the exchange event had taken up more time than you care to admit, and you were slightly disappointed at the fact that you hadn't even gotten the chance to truly say goodbye to your friend.
But luckily, the students from Kyoto were a good distraction.
"What kind of woman is your type? Hurry up and answer, if you prefer men that's fine too."
The silence that follows Todo's words is awkward, and you can't help the way your cheeks heat up when Megumi's eyes drift over to you. Todo follows Megumi's line of sight, eyes taking your features before he nods firmly and turns back to face Megumi.
"I don't have a particular preference," Megumi says before Todo can speak. "As long as they have an unshakeable character, I won't ask for more."
"Not a bad answer!" Nobara chimes, slinging an arm around your shoulders as you contemplate his words. "If you had said something like 'big boobs', I would've killed you."
The snort that leaves your lips brings Megumi's attention back to you, and the way his eyes soften as he watches you giggle at Nobara's words doesn't slip Todo's attention.
"I knew it! You're boring, Fushiguro," Todo proclaims, his chest puffing up as he approaches the shorter boy. Once he's close enough, he lowers his voice, granting him the courtesy of not having you hear his next words. "You spend all your time admiring them from afar, but I doubt you'll ever actually make a move."
Megumi bristles at Todo's words, opening his mouth to speak before getting thrown back by a powerful punch.
"Megumi!" you cry out, trying to rush over to him before being stopped by Nobara's cry. You turn to see her being held tightly by Mai, her pistol aimed at Nobara's side as she pulls her close.
"Move and I shoot," Mai says, smirking as she sees the irritated look on your face. You glance back at Megumi for a split second before lunging at Mai, causing her to release Nobara as she reels back at your sudden action. You manage to grab Mai's waist, pushing her down to the ground and falling on top of her at you try to snatch her weapon.
A knee to the stomach has you grunting, and you find yourself rolling over to avoid another strike from her. By the time the second years show up, Nobara has Mai's hair clutched tightly in her hand, earning an amused smile from Maki as she swiftly breaks up the fight. You check on Nobara first, and once you make sure that the only damage she took was to her ego, you set out to locate Megumi.
You pause slightly when you see him, walking alongside Panda and Inumaki with a slight limp, before you sprint over to his side. You immediately begin to fuss over him, reaching up to wipe away the blood that was dripping towards his eyes with your sleeve.
"Megumi! Oh my god, are you okay?" you ask softly, cupping his face with your hand and turning his head side to side to look for more injuries. Megumi slouches slightly to give you a better look, unwilling to swat you away as you mutter your concerns out loud. "Do you need anything? Water, or maybe some medicine. We should visit Shoko."
Silence ensues as the three of you await Megumi's response, but his eyes remain on you as you give him an expectant look.
"Mustard leaf," Inumaki's voice breaks the silence, and Megumi shakes his head lightly as he pulls away from you to look at his upperclassman. Inumaki's eyes are slightly crinkled, and Megumi can tell that Inumaki is smiling at the scene that had just played out in front of him.
"Oh my god, you're right," You say to Inumaki before turning back to Megumi. "What if you have a concussion?"
"I don't have a—"
"Salmon," Inumaki chimes in, cutting Megumi off as he nods along with you.
"You're right," you sigh, grabbing Megumi's hand in yours before turning around. "That blank stare was a little worrying. C'mon, we need to get you checked out."
Megumi shoots one last look at Inumaki and Panda, a little peeved off with the sudden turn of events. The only thing he's met with are the snickers of both second years, along with a thumbs up from Panda. Inumaki simply gives him a playful wink, sending him a wave as you drag him away.

three.
"You know, if you keep staring at them, they're going to think you're a creep," Nobara says, interrupting Megumi's thoughts as she plops down on the step next to him. He tries his best to ignore her, giving up when she leans over and plucks the book he was holding out of his grasp, tossing it to the side with a small huff.
"I was reading that," Megumi hisses, a scowl making its way onto his face as he leans over to try and grab it.
"No you weren't, you were holding it upside down" Nobara scoffs, ignoring his mildly horrified look as she pushes him back into his seat. "Now spill. Why do you keep staring at them?"
The large grin on Nobara's face lets Megumi know that she already knows why he's acting like this; she just wants to hear him admit it. He refuses to speak, leaning back on the steps they're sitting on and crossing his legs. He looks off to the side, grunting softly when Nobara begins to poke his cheek.
"Fushiguro! I'm talking to you, don't be rude," she whines, gasping when his hand comes up to envelope her face to try and push her away. She struggles against him, failing miserably and only stopping when you approach.
"I'm sorry, I need to pass through," you say, stifling a laugh as they freeze. The two of them scramble up from their seats when they realize they've been blocking the entire pathway, bowing their heads slightly in apology as you pass by. You nod in thanks, your lips twitching as you give them an amused look. You come to a stop when you notice the book lying on the ground, picking up before turning back to face Megumi.
"This is a good book!" you chirp, your eyes lighting up in recognition as you gently dust off the cover. You hold it out to Megumi, waiting for him to take it from your hand. "It's one of my favorites."
He stares at you for a few seconds, and you find yourself shifting your weight from one foot to another as you wait for him to take the book from you. Nobara springs into action when it becomes clear that Megumi isn't going to move, grabbing the book from you as she chuckles softly.
"It is a good book!" she agrees, smiling a little bit too widely as you nod in agreement. You look back at Megumi, opening your mouth to speak before pausing and turning around.
"Well I'll see you two later," you say, waving to the two of them before walking away. As soon as you're out of sight, Nobara smacks Megumi with the book in her hand, effectively breaking him out of his daze. He gives her a glare, huffing lightly when she shoves the book into his chest.
"You're pathetic," she mutters, walking off in the same direction you had. Megumi sighs before taking his seat once more and cracking open his book.

four.
"That's a really nasty bruise."
You're met with silence as you move through the infirmary, grabbing the first aid kit, before turning back to face Megumi. His eyes are still focused on the ground when you step closer to him, causing him to jolt as you let yourself settle in between his legs. He swallows harshly when your hand comes up to cup his cheek, tilting his face up towards you to get a better look at him.
"You need to start being more careful," you chide, using an alcohol pad to wipe at his face. You give him an apologetic look when he winces, and his eyes dart up to your face when you pull your hand away slightly.
"It's fine, you can continue," he says quietly, leaning into your palm when it returns to its previous spot. He watches the way you bite your lip in concern, your eyebrows furrowing as you gently brush his hair out of his face.
"You're injured too," he comments, his eyes tracing over the faint bruising on your jaw.
"I'm fine, I was with Toge," you retort, letting go of his face to grab some ointment.
"Toge?" Megumi asks absentmindedly, wondering when you had gotten on first-name basis with the second year. He tenses when you tilt his head back up again, the focus clear on your face as you do your best to gently apply the cool gel to his face.
"Yeah," you respond, pushing his hair back again to get better access to the gash on the crown of his head. You freeze for a moment when you catch his eye, shaking your head lightly before focusing on the injury. "I wasn't alone during the tournament but you were. You fought Kamo all on your own."
"I did," Megumi mutters, his eyes still on your face even when you pull back slightly. His lips twitch when he sees your mildly irritated look, speaking the first words that come to mind. "Were you worried about me?"
Megumi watches as your eyes widen briefly before you compose yourself, nodding softly as you reach for some band-aids. "You're pretty reckless, y'know? You can't blame me for being worried, especially after what happened with Todo."
You don't miss the way Megumi winces at your words, thinking about his confrontation with the older boy. He starts to turn his head away, only to be stopped when your other hand comes up to his cheeks to keep him in place. He holds his breath as you study him, feeling vulnerable under your intense gaze.
"Promise me," you finally say, breaking the silence. "Promise me you'll at least try to be more careful."
"I promise," Megumi murmurs, releasing the breath he had been holding. You nod in satisfaction before finally separating yourself from him, turning to put the first aid kit back in its place. Neither one of you notice that Shoko has been leaning against the doorframe the entire time, observing the two of you as you tended to his wounds.
She watches you flit around the space, putting things back in their proper places as Megumi watches. There's an awestruck look on his face as you talk about something random, trying to fill the silence as he mindlessly hums in agreement with whatever you're saying. It isn't until Shoko actually takes a step into the room that Megumi finally registers her presence, and she watches with thinly-veiled amusement as his cheeks flood with color.
A smirk pulls at her lips as she takes note his bandaged injuries, and she can't help the playful lilt that tinges her words as she finally speaks.
"I was told that Megumi had been injured and needed my help but I can see that you've been well taken care of."
"Shoko!" you yelp, whirling around and leaning against a table as you give her a flustered wave. "When did you get here?"
"A couple of minutes ago," Shoko confesses, schooling her features as she approaches Megumi. She studies him for a minute before turning back to you. "You did a really good job. He's free to go if he doesn't want me to use my technique on him."
"Well, I'll leave you two to discuss that," you say laughing nervously as you inch towards the door. "Bye Shoko! I'll see you later, Megumi!"
Shoko snorts when she sees the way Megumi tries to hide a smile at your use of his first name, shaking her head before slipping on a pair of gloves and prodding at the bruising on his jaw.
"Are you okay, kiddo?" she asks flatly, watching him closely for any signs of discomfort. He grumbles under his breath before pushing himself to his feet, nodding his head in response to Shoko's question.
"'m fine," he grunts, earning a skeptical look. He sighs after a few seconds, crossing his arms when Shoko doesn't back down. "I promise I'm okay. I don't need you to heal me. Can I go now?"
"Sure," Shoko concedes, stripping off her gloves and throwing them into the trash. "If you feel any pain or discomfort you know where to find me."
Megumi nods once before making his way towards the door, pausing in the doorframe to send Shoko a wary look.
"Don't tell Gojo anything," he warns lowly, shoulders tense as she shoots him a blank look.
"I won't."
Megumi gives her a thankful look before leaving the infirmary, and Shoko merely smiles to herself before whipping out her cell phone.
Gojo was going to have a field day when he heard about everything she had witnessed.
Tumblr media
five.
"I still don't understand why we have to be here," Megumi grumbles, exasperation laced in his words as he trails after Gojo. Your so-called teacher had pulled you, Megumi, Yuuji, and Nobara out for a day in the city, claiming that he wanted to see how much all of you had improved. It wasn't until you had all arrived in the city that Gojo had admitted that he was only really testing Yuuji and Nobara, especially since the former had been missing for a while.
"We can go get food while they deal with the curses," you whisper, coming up beside Megumi and nudging him with your shoulder. He merely hums in response, trying to act unbothered as Nobara shoots him an amused look.
"Doubtful. We're probably here to act as backup," he whispers back, earning a muffled laugh from you.
The five of you come to a stop in the middle of an empty street, being met with the sight of a deceivingly cozy house. You shiver as a breeze blows through the street, shooting Yuuji a kind smile as he comes to a stop next to you.
"Oh, are you cold?" he asks, eyes wide with concern as he looks at you. "Here, you can have my jacket!"
You smile gratefully as he begins to unzip his hoodie, flinching when you hear a loud yell.
"Itadori! Get over here!"
"Just a minute!" Yuuji yells back, ignoring Gojo's call as he fiddles with his zipper.
"Now!" Nobara snaps, her foot tapping against the pavement impatiently as she beckons Yuuji over to her side.
"Why are you being so— oh!" Yuuji says, his eyes lighting up with some sort of realization before giving you an apologetic smile. "I'll be right back."
You nod in understanding, watching as Yuuji joins Gojo and Nobara a few meters away. You wrap your arms around yourself in an attempt to shield yourself from the cold, Yuuji's body no longer present to block the air.
"Here, you can have my sweater."
You turn your head at the familiar voice, being met with the sight of Megumi holding out his sweatshirt. You hesitate slightly before taking it from him, quickly slipping it on and giving him a blinding smile.
"Thanks, Fushiguro!" you chirp, unconsciously snuggling into the fabric before taking a seat on the curb. Megumi remains standing for a few minutes, sending one last look towards his classmates before taking a seat next to you. He lets his elbows rest on his knees, his chin sitting comfortably on his palms as he observes the house Yuuji and Nobara are currently approaching. He takes note of the fact that Gojo had chosen not to mention what grade the curses were, and he mentally prepares himself to fight just in case.
He lets his gaze drift back over to you when he realizes you haven't spoken even once since sitting down, the slight concern on his face melting when he sees you staring intensely at the ground in front of you. Feeling the weight of his stare, you glance up to meet his eyes, sticking your tongue out at him and giggling when he huffs in amusement. He watches as your gaze drifts back to the concrete in front of you before your eyes dart back to him, the back-and-forth motion continuing for a bit before he finally speaks.
"What are you looking at?"
You lean forward slightly, reaching for something on the ground before turning to Megumi with a smile.
"This," you say softly, holding out your hand. He looks down to see a flower, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he looks back up at you.
"It's... pretty," he says, watching as twirl the flower between your fingers.
"Yeah, it is," you agree, giving him a shy smile. "It's the color of your eyes."
Your words cause Megumi's cheeks to burst with color, and clears his throat before he murmurs a soft thank you. You grin at his reaction before scooting closer to him, your elbow brushing against his and causing him to stiffen when you lean in slightly.
"You're welcome," you say quietly, raising your arm before pausing and giving him an uncertain look. "May I?"
Megumi nods silently, holding his breath as you lean in even closer to tuck the flower behind his ear. His eyes never leave your face as you busy yourself with the task at hand, softening when he notices the way your tongue peeks out from in between your lips in concentration as you do your best to position the flower.
There's a sparkle in your eyes that threaten to make his heart race, and Megumi finds himself wondering if you knew just how much of an effect you had on him. His eyes widen when your fingertips brush against his cheek, and you quickly draw your hand back down to your side as you take in the sight in front of you.
"It looks perfect," you finally say, your eyes never leaving his as you speak. There's a beat of silence before Megumi opens his mouth to respond, the words spilling out from his lips before he can stop them.
"I think you loo—"
"Hey! Lovebird! Get over here," Gojo shouts, his voice causing the two of you to scramble away from each other. Megumi closes his eyes for a second, mentally thanking Gojo for cutting off his statement as he gets to his feet. He turns to see Gojo wearing a big smile, seemingly satisfied with the reaction he had gotten from the two of them. "Hurry up! I think Yuuji and Nobara might need some help."
"Told you so," Megumi says, a smile on your face as you roll your eyes at his statement.
"Good luck, Fushiguro," you say, your quiet words drawing his attention to you. He looks down to see you giving him a thumbs up, and he simply smiles and nods before making his way over to Gojo. The older sorcerer's smile doesn't fade even as he approaches, and it only get wider when he holds out an arm to stop Megumi.
"Nice flower, it matches your eyes!" Gojo says slyly, plucking the bud from behind Megumi's ear and earning a scowl from him. "I'll take care of this for you. After all, you wouldn't want this to get ruined would you? Although I'm surprised it didn't spontaneously combust from how hard you were blushing."
Megumi gives Gojo one last scathing look before heading towards the entrance of the house, doing his best to ignore Gojo's laugh and focus on the mission at hand.
Tumblr media
six.
You stop in your tracks when you hear a call of your name, the sound of Yuuji's voice bringing a small smile to your face as you turn around. Your smile only grows wider when you notice Megumi trailing behind him, hands shoved deep into his pockets as he looks down at the ground.
"Are you busy right now?" Yuuji asks, coming to a stop in front of you. You shake your head slowly, sending a glance at Megumi that Yuuji doesn't miss. "Fushiguro and I were about to get some food. Do you want to join us?"
"I'd love to," you utter, earning a wide grin from Yuuji. You snicker under your breath, his excitement reminding you of a puppy.
"Great! Then let's go! I've been wanting to check this place out for ages."
You trail behind Yuuji, throwing the occasional glance back at Megumi until you eventually slow down to walk beside him. The messy-haired boy shoots you a quick glance, looking away when he sees you giving him a curious look.
"What's up?" you ask, stepping closer to him and nudging his shoulder with yours. He shakes his head silently, raising his eyes to look at you as he steps closer to you to avoid crashing into somebody.
"Nothing," he says after a while, wondering if you would keep the conversation going. He's a little disappointed when you don't, but you also don't move away from him, instead choosing to call out your replies to whatever questions Yuuji asks as he walks ahead of the two of you.
"Oh, I almost forgot," you suddenly say, coming to a stop a few shops away from the restaurant Yuuji was heading towards. "I need to buy some stuff for Nobara, but you two go on ahead without me! I'll be there in a few minutes."
"Are you sure?" Megumi asks instantly, receiving a nod from you. He hesitates slightly, causing you to roll your eyes with a smile before waving him away. Yuuji gives you a sound of acknowledgment before tugging Megumi away, laughing quietly when he keeps looking over his shoulder in your direction.
"Come on," Yuuji says, opening the door for Megumi before stepping inside after him. "They'll be fine without your watchful gaze. Do you have any idea of what you're gonna get?"
"No," Megumi replies, taking a seat at an empty table and looking out the window. "I think I'll wait for them to get back before ordering."
Yuuji smiles at Megumi's words, forcing himself to look down at his phone in an attempt to act nonchalant. "So, how long have you had feelings for them?"
Megumi's eyes widen at Yuuji's words, and he finds himself mentally scolding himself for being too obvious with his feelings. He has to be, especially if Yuuji had been able to figure it out. He remains silent, letting his eyes drop down to the table.
"You should tell them," Yuuji says earnestly, all hints of teasing gone from his tone. His words still manage to catch Megumi off guard, and he glances at Yuuji to see him still looking down at his phone, the screen dark.
"No."
"I'm serious," Yuuji whines. "You should tell them. I think the two of you are perfect for each other."
"What exactly am I supposed to say?" Megumi asks, shifting uncomfortably in his seat before attempting to make eye contact with Yuuji and sighing when the pink-haired boy doesn't look up. "I really like you and and I stare at you like a dumbass because I don't know how to tell you how I feel?"
Yuuji snorts at his words, opening his mouth to tease Megumi before being cut off.
"You like me?"
The two boys look up in a panic when they see you standing close to their table, a small bag clutched tightly in one of your hands. Yuuji gives Megumi an apologetic look that he chooses to ignore, knowing that the both of them had been too caught up in their conversation to notice you approaching.
"I'm gonna go order," Yuuji says quietly, sliding out of his seat and heading towards the counter. He turns back to give Megumi a thumbs up behind your back, nodding his head as he mouths the words 'go for it!'. Megumi turns his attention to you when you slide into the seat across from him, giving him a smile before picking up one of the menus on the table. An awkward silence settles upon the two of you, and Megumi can't help but notice the furtive glances you keep sending his way.
"So," you finally say, breaking the silence as you put the menu down. He looks up, his eyes meeting yours as you sigh softly. "You like me?"
Megumi hesitates, watching the way your eyebrows furrow slightly as you wait for his response.
"Yes," he finally says, looking back out the window to avoid your gaze. He stiffens when he hears you let out a relieved sigh, giggling softly before speaking.
"Well that's good," you breathe, causing Megumi to whip his head back around to look at you. He watches as you rummage through the bag you had been holding, pulling out a book before handing it to him. It was the sequel to the book he had been reading a couple of weeks ago, the one you had picked up when Nobara had tossed it aside. "I was hoping to give this to you at some point, and maybe even ask you out when I did so."
Megumi's cheeks warm as he smiles at you, neither one of you noticing the way Yuuji pumps his first into the air a few feet away.
Tumblr media
+ one.
You let your eyes drift up from your phone and land on Megumi, who is currently lying next to you as he reads the book you had bought him. The two of you are lounging in your dorm, your back pressed up against the headboard while he lays down on your pillows.
His eyes are focused on the words he's reading, and you take the opportunity to study him quietly. His hair hangs messily like always, but you choose to hold back from running your hands through it in order to keep watching him. Your eyes trace the slope of his nose, trailing down to his lips before following his jawline back up his face and finally settling on his eyes. You sit there admiring him, thinking about how unfair it is for him to have such long lashes.
You bite back a gasp when his gaze suddenly snaps to you, and you quickly look back down at your phone in an attempt to hide your embarrassment. You can still feel Megumi's eyes on you, and you shift uneasily in your spot before shyly looking back up at him.
"What?" you ask, your cheeks burning as you try to play innocent.
"I was just wondering if you were done staring at me," Megumi says casually, a faint smile on his face as he looks back down at his book. You gape at him for a few seconds before responding.
"I was not staring!" you cry out indignantly, scrunching your nose when Megumi gives you a knowing look. "Besides, if my memory is correct, you got caught staring at me by literally everyone else!"
Megumi rolls his as he sits up, sitting shoulder to shoulder with you before shaking his head lightly.
"Besides," you continue, not giving him the chance to speak. "What's so wrong with staring at my boyfriend."
A red tint fills Megumi's cheeks at your words and he merely scoffs before turning the page. You rest your head on his shoulder, glancing down at the book and attempting to read along with him. When he fails to turn the page after a few minutes, you glance up, only to see him staring at you with a soft smile on his face. You smile back at him before leaning up to press a kiss to the corner of his mouth, and you watch as he tosses the book to the foot of your bed before cupping your face with both hands and pressing a kiss a to your lips.
You give him another soft peck before you pull away from him, your eyes fluttering open to see Megumi studying your face. There's a smug smile on his face as he takes in your dazed state, and he opens his mouth to comment on it before you beat him to the punch, your words causing his smile to drop as he groans.
"Now who's staring?"

Shrimply Yours~
Tumblr media
In which you invoke your shrimp privileges to cheer Floyd up.
Floyd x GN Reader! Enjoy, shrimpies!!~
—————
“Y’know Floyd, I’d say you’re the shrimp, not me.”
Maybe you really did have a death-by-squeezing wish. Or maybe your plot-armor protection had finally worn off. The eel in question lifted his head slowly at your words and side-eyed you, his golden eye glinting ominously in the Mostro Lounge kitchen’s light.
You’d been washing the dishes after asking Azul for a job in exchange for a little extra madol on the side. For the most part, your day had been as peaceful as it could’ve (the life of a magicless prefect was always maniacal), until you heard arguing from outside the kitchen. You all but jumped when Floyd slammed the door open and wordlessly stalked to the stove, and you spotted Azul walking off shaking his head to himself. Floyd shoved pan on the heat and began frying something, completely ignoring your presence. Was it even possible to fry chicken so aggressively?
In any case, Floyd seemed a little more volatile than usual at the moment, even considering it was him. The other students who’d been in the kitchen with you before had scuttled out before Floyd could snap at them too. But in any case, you knew that Floyd’s mood flipped faster than Crowley leaving all his work to you. So, you thought you’d try to lighten the mood.
At your words, Floyd slowly brought his head up from his deep-frying, golden-and-olive colored eyes zeroing in on you, baring his sharp, shiny teeth at you in a scowl. And in that split second, you suddenly remembered that Floyd was, in fact, a mer-eel. Moray, specifically. A predator. A predator that probably ate shrimpies like you. Who was now looking at you predatorily.
“What did ya just say, shrimpy?” His pupils were practically pin-pricks, and for a moment you swore you could hear the Jaws theme song in your head. You could remember, time and time again, your friends and upperclassmen telling you not to engage Floyd when he was in one of his moods. Even up until now, you’d never been on the awful end of his anger, especially alone. But you weren’t called beast-tamer for nothing, damn it, and maybe that title could extend to taming angry Floyd’s too. An angry Floyd that was still your friend.
“I said, you’re the shrimp, not me.” You maintained eye-contact with him, almost challenging him, ‘come at me, bro.’ You tried to keep a straight face, although you were deflating rapidly by the second because by Sevens this was so stupid but-
“Because you’re shrimply amazing.”
One second passed. Two. Three.
Then Floyd broke into a wide, sharp-toothed grin. He surged towards you, completely forgetting the frying food. “D’awww, SHRIMPY!!!”
He swooped behind you, wrapping his arms around you and picking you up. Your legs flailed around and now your arms were locked in as Floyd spun around the kitchen haphazardly with you in his arms. “Shrimpy knows just how to cheer me up! I knew this is why I kept you around!” He laughed cheerily, bobbing you up and down.
“FLOYD!” You cried, “PUT ME DOWN-“ the kitchen swirled crazily around you, as Floyd babbled some song or other cheerfully. Thankfully he’d stopped spinning, but began shaking you side to side while humming, “Shrimpy’s so brave n’ nice, all the other guppies left when they saw me but only Shrimpy stayed!”
He started pouting, and squished his cheek into yours. “Azul was bein’ mean to me, making me work now. Just ‘cause I roughed up a few customers doesn’t mean it was my fault! They shoulda been nice to me~”
Even though you were basically suspended in the air by him, you smiled at Floyd’s words. “Glad I could help Floyd, that was so mean of Azul,” you consoled him, hoping he’d put you down. He bent over until your feet were safely on the sweet, sweet ground, but didn’t let you go from his arms. The two of you swayed together, basking in each other’s company in the subpar lighting of the kitchen, until you frowned.
“…Hey, is something burning?”
“Ah shit, I burned the chicken.”

Tumblr media
"i know kids are curious, but eighth grade is a bit early to try weed, right?" jacob bounced his leg anxiously as he raised the question to his friends in the teachers' lounge. one of his students had just been suspended for bringing marijuana to school, and jacob was characteristically worried about the kid.
"i started in tenth grade, but teenagers are growin' up younger and younger these days," melissa responded. barbara raised her eyebrows in shock, and melissa reacted with an amused half-smile. "like trouble over here. when was your first time, hon?"
you tried to ignore the innuendo as melissa invited you into the conversation. you had been hired to teach the third grade a few months ago. you and melissa had a rapport from the first moment you walked into the lounge. every time you were in a room together, you made each other laugh. melissa made you feel at ease in your new workplace, and you felt lucky to have her.
because you both got along so well, ava often paired you up for team-building exercises and combined-class activities. the two of you weren't exactly close friends yet, but you had chemistry. that much was obvious to everyone at abbott.
"tenth grade for me, too," you answered between sips of your morning coffee. "a friend and i did it in the bathroom before art class. good memories."
"what, did you have some kinda fancy vape pen?" melissa cocked an eyebrow at you.
"i wouldn't call it fancy, but yeah, we mostly smoked carts," you explained. "bought 'em from the upperclassmen in the parking lot before school. i'm pretty sure they weren't pure weed, though. we had to be smoking battery acid, or plastic or something."
"god, your generation is weird. smokin' chemicals out of a flash drive," melissa said, gesturing wildly to convey her amazement. "the first time i got high was in detention. my buddy steve would sneak in and bring us cigarettes and blunts. they all looked the same, so we played russian roulette with it. now everybody walks around with those neon devices in their pockets."
"i can't tell if you're being serious or if you're referencing the breakfast club," you giggled, nudging the redhead's shoulder jokingly as you sat down next to her.
"ha ha, very funny, little miss," melissa deadpanned. you had asked her to stop calling you "kid" a few weeks ago. she respected your wishes by coming up with all sorts of endearing synonyms to call you instead. "what about you, jacob? you used to vape—ever experimented with mary jane?"
"or mark john?" you added. melissa snorted and gave you a playful swat on the arm.
"no, actually, i haven't," jacob said, rolling his eyes at your quip. "i didn't have many friends in high school or college, and after that i had to be drug tested regularly for teachers without borders. i never got the chance."
"well, if you ever feel like trying something new, i have plenty to share," you offered. "can't have you over at my place, though; every time i bring guests around, my crazy neighbor thinks they're cia operatives."
everyone in the room except melissa gave you a shocked look. barbara looked especially aghast, her brightly painted lips curled into an 'o' shape.
"damn, i thought janine was the only after-school stoner here. what a pleasant surprise!" ava broke the silence.
"i suppose i would partake given one of those weed pens you mentioned," jacob said to you. "the only thing i've been vaping lately is air, and it gets stale after a while."
"oh no, i haven't used a cart since high school," you clarified. "if you're smoking with me, you're smoking. don't worry, it's easy. just like vaping, but better in every way."
"first of all, no smoke circle is happening under my roof without me." melissa chimed in, looking at you with a silent question in her eyes. you nodded—of course you wanted her there. "and second, where do you even get the weed? if you buy the legal stuff from new york or massachusetts, you're not bringin' it to my house."
"i wouldn't dream of it," you affirmed. "i only smoke authentic philly weed. don't worry about it; i got a guy."
---
that friday night, you showed up on melissa's doorstep wearing a casual t-shirt dress, with a tote bag full of goodies slung over your shoulder. jacob was the one to answer the door.
"hey! come on in, melissa's making pizza," he said cheerfully, a bit jittery with anticipation.
you followed jacob inside and found melissa leaning over the kitchen island, smiling fondly at you. she was wearing sweatpants and a loose-fitting striped shirt, with her hair loose and a bit messy from cooking. she looked radiant and comfortable.
"you know, the pizza will taste better if we smoke before dinner," you proposed.
"bold of you to assume my pizza could taste any better," melissa joked back.
"i'm game," jacob said. "i want the full marijuana experience."
"in that case, help me set up," you said to the history teacher. "i want you to see how everything works."
you laid the contents of your tote bag out on the island countertop: a ziploc baggie full of flower, a little purple grinder, a holographic pink bowl, and a yellow lighter with white flowers on it.
"jacob, this is a grinder," you said, uncapping the grinder and opening the ziploc bag. "we're gonna use it to break up the flower into little pieces."
"oh wow, that is... pungent," jacob remarked. he watched as you ground up the weed, then handed the pink glass bowl to him.
"and this is a bowl, or a pipe if you're lame," you said. "you wanna do the honors?"
jacob grinned and reached into the grinder, bouncing excitedly on his heels. you put a hand on his shoulder to steady him. he filled the bowl, looking to you for approval several times while he did it.
"awesome, we're ready," you said. melissa placed her pizza in the oven and joined the circle.
"let's take it out on the patio," melissa suggested.
she led you and jacob out to the patio, a small ledge overlooking the city with three chairs conveniently set up in a tight circle. it was 7pm and the sun had just begun its descent, casting philadelphia in an orange glow.
the three of you sat down. you held the bowl up to your lips and moved to light it, but melissa snatched the lighter from your hand. she leaned in and held the flame to the bowl, her face inches from yours. you tried to concentrate on the task at hand, rather than her painted lips or her vivid green eyes dancing all over you.
you took a long inhale of the smoke and blew it up toward the sky. melissa plucked the bowl out of your hand and took a hit. she held the smoke in her lungs for an impressive amount of time for someone who didn't smoke regularly. she passed the still-lit bowl to jacob.
as soon as jacob took his hit, you knew it was gonna hurt. he overestimated his own lung capacity, and he didn't even finish blowing the smoke out before he was coughing.
"happens to everybody, pal," melissa patted jacob's back to ease his pain.
"ugh!" jacob sputtered between coughs. "why didn't you guys tell me smoking hurts?"
---
several rotations later, the three of you were high. well, you and melissa were high; jacob was outright fried. not altogether unexpected, but funny as hell.
when melissa's pizza was done, you all resolved to eat outside so you could watch the sunset together.
"this is heavenly, mel," you moaned after a delicious bite of the pizza.
"ha!" jacob exclaimed, and you and melissa turned to him, confused. meeting melissa's gaze, he threw his arms up in the air—like he expected her to understand what he meant by that one noise. "she stole two syllables from your name. you can't just take syllables, y/n. they're not yours."
"since when do you care about private property rights?" you quipped back before turning your attention to melissa. "i'm serious though. this pizza is sooo good. like last-meal-on-death-row good."
"keep talkin' sweet like that, and you can call me whatever you want," melissa replied with a wink, sending a flood of warmth to your face.
"what were we talking about? just now?" jacob chimed in, his eyes wide and darting every which way.
"... i actually don't know," you said with a giggle. you tried to remember, you really did. but you could feel melissa's eyes on you, and you heard her words echoing in your head. and it was hard to focus on anything else.
"short term memory loss! add that to the list of things you guys didn't warn me about," jacob scoffed.
"jacob, eat your damn pizza," melissa cut in. a peaceful smile graced her lips as she stared out at the city skyline, now a twilight blue in the absence of the sun. "i've missed this feeling, everythin' all fuzzy and light. how are you holding up, lovebug?"
your heart fluttered at the endearing name. melissa, it seemed, wore her heart on her sleeve when she was high—judging by the adoring way she gazed at you while she awaited your response. maybe the weed was messing with your head, but you swore she'd never looked so beautiful.
her eyes lacked any trace of the fire you were used to seeing (though they were quite red). for once, she wasn't on guard. her plump lips curled around her wine glass as she took a sip of merlot, vocalizing her sensual appreciation with a hum.
her long auburn hair was tucked behind her ears, resting on her shoulders in loose waves instead of her preferred meticulous curls. you wanted to run your fingers through her locks, feel their softness and smell her shampoo.
entranced by the redhead, you forgot she had asked you a question. melissa tapped your knee in reminder.
"i feel perfect," was your soft reply. you were beaming brightly before the sentence even finished. rather than sitting in a chair, you felt like you were floating on a cloud. the colors of melissa's patio and the sky blended together in a beautiful, swirling mosaic. the sounds of the city were clear and pleasant as philly wound down for the night. "i'm so happy."
"glad to hear it, sunshine. but i'm pretty sure jacob is asleep," melissa chuckled and patted the man's shoulder. he didn't stir, remaining slumped and conked out in his chair. "he's been losin' sleep over the kid who got suspended. bending over backwards trying to keep 'em on track."
"oh gosh," you said sympathetically before patting jacob a bit more firmly than melissa had. "jacob, hey. c'mon, it's time for bed. get up, go get cozy."
your words were slurred and hushed, but they seemed to pierce the veil of jacob's slumber as he awoke with a start.
melissa stood behind jacob's chair, gently rocking it back and forth to bring him back to the conscious world.
"can't go to bed, we just started," jacob grumbled, but his eyes were still closed. he was dangerously close to falling asleep again.
"from the looks of it, you're either gonna spend the night sleepin' in this chair or in your bed, so get up," melissa said resolutely.
"yeah, and besides, there's always next time," you assured jacob as he stretched and groaned his way into an upright position. you made eye contact with melissa, and this time you winked.
---
after helping jacob into bed (his motor skills really deteriorated when he got high) and smoking another bowl together, you and melissa were ready to continue your night.
"alright, sweetheart, it's down to you and me," melissa said, sitting down next to you on the couch. "what do you wanna do?" you pondered the question, looking around the room for inspiration.
"oh my god, you have a nintendo switch?" you asked excitedly, gesturing to the black tablet plugged in next to the cable box.
"that's jacob's. he showed me one of the games on there—animal crossing, i think it was. i don't get it. why play a game if you can't win?"
"alright, i know what we have to do now," you said, walking over to jacob's game cabinet and pulling out mario kart 8. holding the case up for melissa to see, you grinned. "four races. whoever wins gets whatever she wants from the other."
you were distantly aware of the implications, but you were too high to reconsider what you'd proposed.
you figured melissa would want something from your thoroughly decorated classroom if she won. if you won, you'd ask her to make you a custom pizza.
"you have no idea what you just started, hon," melissa said with a confident smirk.
"may the best woman win."
---
how the hell was she so good at everything?
melissa had needed some time to warm up to the switch controls, complaining about how the little red rectangle was too small to hold comfortably. but she was a quick learner with skilled fingers, and soon she was absolutely demolishing you.
it also didn't help that your coordination escaped you when you were high. you had driven off of too many ledges to count.
"two wins in a row for luigi," melissa bragged as she crossed the finish line of the third race. "hope you're ready to give me whatever i want, princess. don't think i forgot about our bet."
"daisy won the first race," you pointed out calmly. "i can still bring it back. but you know what this last race has to be?"
"what?"
"rainbow road. it's the perfect final showdown course," you explained, navigating to the course with your controller.
"get ready to be mine for a night," melissa said lowly. god, you knew she was talking about the bet, but she knew damn well what she was doing. by this point your panties were almost uncomfortably wet.
you leaned into her unconsciously as the race countdown began. you both held your controllers tight, almost shoulder to shoulder.
3...
2... (you push down the gas pedal button)
1...
GO!!!
daisy took off with a boost of speed thanks to your timing. luigi had a false start as his engine blew out. you cheered, and melissa cursed.
"how the fuck do you do that?" she asked, exasperated.
"play the game!" you demanded without looking away from the screen.
the competition was intense. you and melissa weaved around curves, nearly fell off the road, passed and bumped each other. neither one of you spoke until lap 3.
coming up on one of the last turns of the last lap, your hands jerked and you swerved. reacting on instinct, you bent your arms dramatically in the other direction to overcorrect.
melissa's arm bumped into yours, sending your controller flying out of your hands.
"hey!" you said, thinking she was cheating.
"hey yourself," she said, her eyes still fixed on the screen.
if she was gonna play dirty, so were you. you thrust your arm forward to grab her controller. but she saw you coming from a mile away. effortlessly, she shifted the controller into her left hand alone and held it up and out of your reach.
desperately competitive (and stupid high), you launched yourself toward the controller. you'd stop at nothing to get even. before you could snatch it out of her grasp, though, your balance faltered. you fell out of your position and started to fall backwards off the couch.
melissa dropped the controller and wrapped her arms around you, pulling you back up before you could hurt yourself. there was only one problem with this heroic act.
you were in her lap now.
her hands remained clasped at the small of your back, and your balance shifted forward. you put your arms out for stability, and wrapped them around her neck.
"careful, don't hurt your pretty head," melissa cooed. the two of you stared at each other for a moment. she surged forward and pressed her lips to yours.
if sitting outside with her felt like floating, kissing her and feeling her body against yours felt like riding the ocean waves. but unlike the atlantic, she was warm. you relaxed into her warmth as her tongue licked into your mouth.
you felt her tongue everywhere. in response to her, you gave a few tentative kitten licks. she moaned, she moaned, and pulled back before giving you one last kiss on the lips.
she stared at you with heated eyes for a while before switching her focus to the tv.
"look, baby," she said smugly while gesturing to the tv screen, where luigi was driving victory laps after placing first on rainbow road. "i won. you remember what that means?"
it was a fair question, considering how many conversations you forgot happened tonight. still, you nodded shyly and bit your lip.
"smart girl," melissa praised. "can you guess what i want from you?"
you shook your head no with a frown. melissa beamed and kissed you on the forehead. then she leaned in to whisper in your ear.
"i wanna touch you everywhere. i wanna hear your pretty voice moan my name and see your face scrunch up when you come. i want you to feel me all over you, and i want you to spend the rest of your life craving that feeling," melissa said her piece all at once, as if revealing a long-buried secret to you and herself.
you swallowed.
"would you let me do that?"
you nodded, pressing your forehead against hers.
"i need to hear you say it," she said softly, so softly you almost missed it.
"i want you, melissa. i have since the day we met."
that was all the confirmation melissa needed to attack your face and neck with kisses.
"sorry, let me just," melissa said as she pulled away abruptly and reached for the tv remote. she changed it to cable mode and navigated to the jazz music channel. "there we go, perfect."
"you're ridiculous," you giggled upon seeing melissa's proud face.
"honey," she leaned in to nip at your ear before whispering, "watch your mouth. you wanna be on my good side tonight, trust me."
you shuddered and wiggled in her lap, aching for her touch. a slow grin spread across her face and her hands found your legs, running up your thighs and lightly dragging her nails along your skin. they soon made their way up your waist to your breasts, cupping and squeezing them. melissa even took two fingernails and circled your nipples teasingly, to which you squeaked.
"do you know how many times i thought about havin' you like this?" melissa whispered. her voice was sweet like molasses and flowed right through you. you could feel your nipples tingling where her fingers had been, swimming in a bubble of desire. "in my lap, all whiny and squirmy."
she pinched your nipple and you keened. you held your breath as her hands once again traveled to your thighs, making a beeline for your core.
"and now i got my angel in my arms," she said, gently spreading your legs for better access. you sucked in a breath and trembled when her palm caressed you through your panties. "but i gotta say, even in my imagination you were never this wet for me."
she punctuated the sentence by pressing her pointer finger on your clit through the fabric, drawing tiny circles. you gasped and hid your face in her neck. the high made every touch feel like it rippled through your whole body. the world felt like it had been knocked off its axis, and melissa was your new center of gravity.
"aw, don't be embarrassed, babygirl. it's cute you're so sensitive," melissa soothed, easing you out of the crook of her neck to face her again. she trailed her fingers down to swirl around your wetness under your panties. "let me take care of you, yeah?"
---
a few minutes later, you were spread out on melissa's bed, naked save for your (now useless) panties. she'd practically carried you to her room as you were baked and horny and unable to walk straight.
in spite of your writhing and needy whines, the redhead took her time to savor you. she kissed every inch of your torso before she even considered taking your panties off, mumbling sweet nothings between love bites.
when she finally pulled away to admire her work, the view did not disappoint. you were panting and covered in melissa's marks, and god, you were her favorite piece of art ever created. all hers.
"alright, sweet girl, i know," she cooed as you continued to plead for her touch with your best pout and puppy eyes. unable to resist you, melissa hooked two fingers in the waistband of your panties. "i'm gonna slip these off ya, okay? there, down they go."
melissa discreetly tucked the saturated material into her pocket. not as a trophy or proof of her conquest; rather, a token from the first of many magical nights with her girl. she would treasure it.
she wasted no time getting situated between your legs so she was face-to-face with your pussy. she inhaled deeply, basking in the heady aroma of your arousal. you overwhelmed her senses. everything she saw, everything she smelled, everything she felt, everything she thought—it was all one big, bottomless pool of you. and there was only one sense left for you to conquer.
the first drag of her tongue up your slit set you ablaze, flames licking from your core all the way to your extremities and your head. she let out a small noise of appreciation, and you felt it more than you heard it.
"you taste like fuckin' heaven," melissa rumbled between determined licks through your folds. her comment reminded you of the pizza, and you found yourself amused at how much things had changed in just a few hours.
"last-meal-on-death-row good?" you joked, and melissa seized the moment of levity to latch onto your clit. you cried out before remembering jacob was sleeping in the next room. you clapped a hand over your mouth.
"mhmmmmm," she moaned in agreement, and the vibrations on your bundle felt incredible. "but if you're still crackin' jokes, i'm not doin' my job."
with that, she shut you up completely. her tongue poked at your clit between harsh sucks. your back arched and melissa changed her strategy, prodding at your entrance with her tongue while her fingers took over on your clit. when her tongue penetrated you, you bit down on your hand to keep from screaming.
"i said i wanna hear you, remember?" melissa pulled out to chastise you.
"but jacob—" you managed.
"is passed out. he's dead to the world. now sing for me, angel," melissa's tongue dove back into your weeping cunt and lapped at your walls. you wailed her name.
"oh, mel, right—ahhh—there!" you mewled as her tongue teased your most sensitive spot. now that she'd located her target, melissa changed her play once again. two fingers replaced her tongue and crooked into your g-spot while her mouth returned to your clit. "close..."
melissa nodded her permission, her mouth busy with your button. with another hard roll of your clit between her lips and drive of her fingers into your sweet spot, you fell apart. you moaned and cried unbidden as she worked you through your orgasm, which felt twice as powerful thanks to the intoxication factor. your body shook in the grip of seemingly endless waves of heat.
your climax eventually died down and you squirmed away from melissa's touch. your mouth opened in dismay when instead of staying by your side, she stood up and disappeared into her closet.
after a short while, the older woman reappeared by your side. she was now nude and sporting a long, girthy strap-on. she placed a few other items on the nightstand, but you couldn't tear your eyes away from the thick faux cock. unless it was to look at her gorgeous tits, which swung with her every move. she was a goddess.
"okay, sweets, i'm gonna spell this out nice and slow because i know your brain is a little messy right now," she said as she crawled on top of you. "i'm gonna fuck you with my strap. and i know it's so big, but i have this to help you take it."
melissa reached over to the nightstand and retrieved a green mini wand vibrator. her intentions were clear, and you gulped. the redhead peppered kisses all over your face in reassurance.
"now relax, little love. let me in," melissa instructed as the wand buzzed to life. she smeared your wetness around your clit with her fingers, then pulled back its hood to position the vibrator tightly against your nub. even the lowest setting was a shock at such a direct angle.
while you were distracted trying to adjust to the clitoral stimulation, melissa aligned the tip of the dildo with your entrance and pushed in. you both groaned, and you felt yourself stretch around the toy. melissa turned up the vibrations on your clit as she progressed to being fully seated inside you.
"that's a good girl, so brave," melissa cooed. you thrashed underneath her, the sensations overstimulating you. the pain of the intrusion staved off a powerful orgasm from the wand vibrator.
again, you wondered if the drugs were messing with your mind—the dildo felt indistinguishable from a part of mel's body, and you were full to the brim of her.
as she began to rock her hips back and forth, you saw her bite her lip. you assumed that the strap had some kind of clit attachment for her based on the telltale signs of pleasure.
melissa built up a steady rhythm and drank in your pathetic sounds of pleasure. her tits swung in your face with every thrust, and you made a mental note to give them proper attention next time. with another tactical increase to the wand's speed, you felt yourself approaching the edge once more.
"you gettin' close? yeah, i can tell. feels too good to hide it, huh bunny?" that was a new one. you clenched at her words and she set the wand to its maximum power, rubbing it up and down on your clit. your vision went white and you spun out of reality as you came. "that's my girl. good little princess, coming so hard for me."
with a few more thrusts, melissa also came to a release. she shuddered and shimmied her hips at random while she rode it out. as soon as she recovered, she turned off the green wand and relieved you. next, she eased herself out of and off of you.
with a chaste peck to your lips, she sat upright and reached for the nightstand. she smiled at your fucked-out expression as she laid out the pajamas she'd picked out for you.
you watched in awe as she took off the strap and put on her own sleep clothes. her red hair was wild from the night's activities and glowed like a warm hearth against the white backdrop of her walls.
in your state, you wanted nothing more than to cuddle up with melissa and fall asleep. but she insisted that you get ready for bed so that you'd be comfortable through the night. she guided you into the bathroom and gave you a new toothbrush to use.
returning to the bedroom, you found a silky green nightgown with flowers on it waiting on the bed for you. given your exhausted and intoxicated state, melissa had to help you into it. neither of you minded. as a reward for your cooperation, she gave you a kiss.
the two of you snuggled into bed, tucked in together with you curled up against her chest. the tides of slumber lapped at your feet.
"g'night, lovebug," melissa whispered as you drifted off. "sleep well. see you in the morning."
and tomorrow would be the first of a lifetime of tomorrows waking up in her arms.

You, in truth, never wanted to be a writing tutor.
Your English professor had recommended you to do so, seeing that you had a tendency to excel in your creative and academic writing courses. Your major in english and the years prior you spent scribbling away the fantasies of your mind in middle and high school certainly were to commend for you exceptional writing skills now, but you find that any time you’re actually forced to put pen to paper instead of doing so on your own will dulls the experience entirely.
You can’t necessarily complain too much because you are getting paid (certainly not enough as a junior in university), but you don’t exactly enjoy the tediousness of having to sit down with freshmen who are crawling their way through their introductory writing courses, fighting to keep their engagement as they try to rush you through your hour and a half appointment- despite how badly they need it.
Writing is an art, and should be treated as such, but god, the way the intro courses are treating it and how the students treat it accordingly truly hurts your soul. Especially because they’re required classes, and people never fare well in classes they’re forced to take. You have first hand experience with that.
You’re almost done for the day when you double check your schedule to see that you have one more slot filled before you can call it a day.
Sighing, you lean back in your desk chair and click on the profile of the boy you’re meant to be meeting with. Apparently he’s in a grade above you working on a seminar. You raise your brow, curiosity striking you. You don’t typically find many upperclassmen coming to your services since they normally already have the writing training that they need and have been crafting enough essays to get the hang of things, or are simply too lazy to be bothered with visiting the writing center.
You don’t have much time to ponder it before there’s a knock on your office door frame, signifying the arrival of the person you are to be mentoring. You look up, and the breath almost flies from your lungs when you see a tall brunette clad in heavy, dark cargo pants, a tattered band tee, and a puffy jacket. His heavily lined, violet eyes meet yours tiredly, though after a few moments, a sprinkle of light flickers its way into his irises upon registering the sight of you.
“I’m… uh, here for my 3:30?” his remarkably deep voice mumbles out as he stares at you pensively, ringed fingers clutching the strap of his beaten satchel book bag. “You’re (Y/n)?”
You blink. “Oh, y-yeah. Sorry,” you clear your throat, hastily throwing on a friendly smile. “Come in. You can take a seat right here.”
You gesture to the chair before you at your desk, and he approaches, slinging his bag from his shoulder to the floor and seating himself in the cushioned seat.
You scroll through your computer mindlessly to relocate his profile and exactly what he is here for, but you can’t deny the fact that your mind is immensely distracted by the presence of the man sitting in front of you. You can feel his pretty eyes wandering over the room, bouncing over you then to his lap. You clench your jaw to prevent yourself from practically screaming, for this kid is insanely attractive in a grungy, silent loner kind of way, and you’re unsure of how you’ll even be able to focus throughout the session.
“It’s Choso, right?” you ask, turning from your monitor to meet his diamond eyes.
He nods, pressing his lips together. “Yeah.”
“Okay, cool. Nice to meet you. Why don’t you walk me a bit through what you need help with?”
He releases a heavy sigh, scratching the back of his head and averting his gaze. “I don’t know, my senior sem professor said I needed to work on my paragraph structure for the essay part of the project,” he explains almost disinterestedly. “I don’t really know what she means, so I figured I’d just come here.”
“Okay,” you nod. “Do you have a draft that you can show me?”
Choso reluctantly nods once more, leaning over to collect his bag and pull out a thin stack of papers. He gathers them in his hands and as if embarrassed, slides them across the wood table toward you. You take it from him and briefly skim over the words, the title catching your eye.
“You’re a bio major?” you ask, interest piqued.
“…Um, yeah. I’m writing about blood coagulation… it’s kinda boring stuff I guess.”
“No way, I think that’s sick,” you say casually, flipping through the other pages. “I could never begin to understand that stuff.”
You miss the way Choso’s gaze lingers on your face in momentary, subtle surprise. Your eyes fly up from the page to him again, and he immediately looks away.
You place the papers back down. “I can kinda see what your professor means just by first glance,” you tell him, reaching over to grab a red pen from your pencil holder.
“That fast?” Choso asks, raising a brow.
You chuckle slightly. “I mean, I didn’t get to see everything obviously. I was just browsing, but I do this a lot. I notice you tend to jump from one thing to another without a solid transition.”
“Oh.”
“That’s okay, though. And was it just paragraph structure…? Was there anything else you specifically wanted to look at?”
He shrugs stiffly. “I don’t really know,” he admits. “I’m… less of a writer and more of a researcher. I don’t really- I’m not too good with this kind of stuff in general. I just do the work.”
“That’s no problem. You’ve got the important parts down,” you assure him. “Here, why don’t we move to the center next door? It’ll be easier for me to help you with your paper when I’m next to you instead of sitting across.”
“Sure.”
You believe that you have sabotaged yourself in suggesting so, though moving to a less cramped room is something you always do with your clients. Even so, the second you and Choso seat yourselves beside each other at a rounded table in the next room, with another appointment taking place across the room and rather distant from you, his scent of woody cologne consumes your senses the moment his breeze blows past you with his settlement into his chair.
Your eyes go slightly wide, his arm inches away from brushing yours when he throws his bag over the back of the chair. While he pulls out his computer and gets his papers and notes situated, you sneak a glance at him out of the corner of your eye.
He beholds the facial structure of a model, a rather bored, tired energy capturing his eyes but emphasizing his beauty nonetheless. His hair, you think, is styled uniquely into two ponytails, but it somehow complements his aura perfectly. Tendrils of chocolate brown sweep over his forehead and behind his ear, and that is when you catch a peak of a tattoo creeping up his neck from behind his jacket collar.
This guy is too gorgeous for his own good. Part of you doesn’t believe that he is aware of his beauty himself, for he carries himself as though he wishes not to be seen, or more accurately, hardly pays any attention or care to how he is perceived by the surrounding world. He’s reserved, calm, and oh, the way his Adam's apple bops when he clears his throat softly is criminal.
You’re prepared to ask him about his tattoo when you recall that you are supposed to be maintaining a professional, yet amiable environment. To make it obvious that he’s captured your attention and then some would interfere with the entire purpose of his appointment, which he scheduled for academic assistance with you, a tutor.
You immediately avert your gaze when reality smacks you in the face and you shift your focus back to his paper, sliding it under your palm and ripping the cap of your pen rather harshly. Just as you turn away, Choso finds himself peering over at you, but far less sneakily.
He had come here expecting to despise the entire process, for his pride is slightly wounded that he even has to visit a writing tutor, but he refuses to allow his lacking skill in essay craft to debunk his grade in something he is so passionate about, and something that he desperately needs to graduate. Besides, he has come for help early enough in the process for it not to have much of a strain on the final product overall, but when he found you in your office, he hadn’t expected to be working with someone like… you.
He was expecting a stuck up hermit who was prepared to tear apart every single piece of his rough draft that he had thrown together, sneering down at him through round framed glasses and frowning at his sheer inferiority within the English department. Instead, he’s greeted with you; a fresh, friendly and drop dead gorgeous face that welcomes him in with no judgment. Aesthetically, and likely spiritually, the two of you can’t appear more different, but you don’t seem at all moved by his dark presence. You smile at him, and you compliment his work though no one has ever taken him as a guy interested in or withholding the brains of one who desires to study the inner workings of the human body. He half thinks you’re just being nice because it’s your job, but he can’t help but take a liking to you immediately solely because of how pretty he deems you to be.
Not only that, but you guide him through each and every one of his stand points within his draft, circling words, marking down sentences, scribbling little notes in the corner summarizing the main point he wishes to get across and how he intends to prove so with his research. You listen to him after asking him to explain something you don’t quite understand, and your eyes search his honestly as he mutters through his intentions that are yet to be properly conveyed on the page. You then nod along with him and tell him that he makes perfect sense when he talks, then you freely provide suggestions about how he can improve this portrayal of understanding in a different way.
And everything you tell him, he understands effortlessly. You have a way with your words and how you transcribe them into something that can be put into paper. You know absolutely nothing about what Choso does academically, but somehow, you magically transform that unknown into what you do know. You tell him that literacy is universal, so it’s easy for you to take any topic and help him construct it properly for literary intake.
Choso finds himself enraptured by your tutoring. He’s agreeing with you, humming in interest and pointing at the things you write for him, typing away at his notes to record everything he’s hearing. He’s taken by the way your lips move when you speak passionately, intelligently; how your hands swirl animatedly with your speech as you paint physical pictures in the air of what you are verbalizing; how you grin widely when Choso adds onto your suggestions, proving that he is getting a hang of what you are telling him. And above all, Choso can see the joy in your eyes as you help him, how entranced you are by the chance to hold an intelligent conversation about what you have mastered doing and what Choso has mastered doing.
You actually like tutoring him, and Choso can tell because he has come to enjoy being tutored by you within the hour and a half block that you are given.
The two of you only make it through about eight of twenty pages before you somehow get off topic, minutes past your block has ended.
“How long have you been a tutor?” the purple eyed man beside you questions suddenly. You look up, closing the cap of your pen with a gentle smile. You don’t even notice the other appointment in the room leaving, the two of you now completely alone.
“Just for a little over a year,” you say. “I started at the beginning of sophomore year last year.”
“So, you’re only a junior,” Choso observes.
“Didn’t you know that when you clicked my profile on the tutoring site?” you tilt your head.
Choso shakes his head, looking down as he reaches his hand to his keyboard and bouncing his leg. “I… wasn’t paying attention,” he mutters and you laugh slightly.
“You could have picked anybody to help you, then.”
“Yeah, apparently,” he hums. “I’m glad I got you though.”
A certain giddiness captures you as your light smile brightens. “Really?”
“I- just mean, you’re a good teacher,” he adds quickly, brows drawing together. His jumping knee leans over the slightest in his manspreading position beneath the table, leading it to bump against yours clumsily. The two of you look down at the same time, and he brings his leg back in hastily. “Sorry.”
“You’re good,” you bring your shoulders up as you crowd your hands in your lap, his brief contact having startled your nerves. “And thanks. I try my best. I actually had fun during our session.”
He turns to look at you. “You had fun trying to fix my awful writing?”
“No, no,” you chuckle. “Usually I help a lot of freshmen and they don’t really care what they’re writing about, but you really seem to.”
He hums. “I get it.”
“So… why biology? Why blood function?”
“I don’t know. It’s always been cool to me, how much stuff happens inside the body that we can’t see,” he says lowly. “I also… got money to come here in high school for science and all that. It’s kinda always been something I’m good at.”
“You say that like it’s not a big deal,” you raise your brows, turning in your chair to face him completely. He glances at you momentarily from the side, but keeps himself awkwardly forward as he clicks randomly away at the keys on his computer. You can see a dust of pink creeping over his pale skin as he eyes his screen.
“It’s not really. Plenty of people have scholarships and stuff.”
“Yeah, but that doesn’t make yours any less impressive,” you say, and his blush brightens. He’s so cute. “What would you wanna do with that when you graduate? This is your last year, right?”
“Oh, uh,” he tilts his head back. “I’m looking for work now… but I don’t know, not a lot of jobs in my field would really…” he tries to find a way to explain. His lips tug to the side and his brows angle, hand finding his locks. “...approve of the way I present. I could probably get away with being a lab tech, but if not, I’d do something behind the scenes. Maybe get another job in retail, too.”
You hum, looking over him. “Is it because of your…” you stop to point to his neck. He looks at you quizzically, reaching his hand to where you point. His face relaxes in realization.
“Yeah,” he breathes out a light laugh, and you shiver. “Didn’t know you could see that.”
“Only a little…” you grin. “What is it?”
He takes in a deep breath, looping his fingers over his jack and pulling it down from the skin by his ear. His face is still lit with a pinch of color as he averts his gaze, tilting his chin so that you can see the sharp lines of ink swerving from behind his ear down to his collarbone, a cyber sigilism design.
You gulp, your own face growing warm with heat as you examine the way his muscles ripple beneath the tattoo, his face bored though leg still jittery with nerves.
“I like it,” you say as he releases his jacket and lets it rise to conceal his neck once more. “It suits you.”
He looks at you, pursing his lips. “Thanks. I have a lot more.”
“Yeah?” your eyes dash over his frame out of curiosity.
“You won’t be able to see them,” he tells you, and you snap your eyes right back up to his face. A small smile plays on his lips.
“O-Oh. Right,” you stammer. “How many do you have?”
“At least, like, twenty by now.”
“Really?!” you gasp, rather impressed. “Did they hurt?”
“Only a few, but you get used to it after a while.”
“Hmm. You’re making me think I should get a tattoo.”
Choso’s lips curl into a full fledged grin as he examines you, seemingly amused by the idea. You falter slightly when his teeth reveal from behind his soft lips, a dimple prodding in the corner of his cheek with his smile. “You’d get one?”
You pick up on his slightly playful tone and raise a brow. “Why? I don’t look like I would?”
He shakes his head. “I mean- well, no, but-” he paused. “I guess I don’t look like I’d want to be a medical professional, so.”
You can feel your smile widening, your heart brimming with excitement as he opens himself up to bantering with you. And his smile… you would have never expected such an angelic sight on someone like him. You knew he was handsome before, but now with his eyes shining with humor, his cheeks flushed, and a tumble of shy laughter spilling from his throat, you’re willing to risk everything for a chance to hear him laugh again.
“See?” you muse as he finally closes his laptop.
“Where would you get one?”
“Uhhhh,” you try to think. “Maybe… on my shoulder?”
“Yeah?” he pokes out his bottom lip and nods. “I think you’d pull it off,” he goes to tuck his papers back into his bag, keeping his eyes down as the next phrase falls from his mouth. “Maybe I should take you to get one.”
Your brows jump at his suggestion, unsure of whether he is joking or being serious. He catches your eye when he pulls himself back up, heliotrope pools simmering with that hint of bashfulness as he looks at you through his long lashes.
“Y-You know,” he starts once more. “After you finish helping me with the rest of my essay.”
Your mind clicks when the topic at hand shifts back to the reason why you are sitting with him in the first place. You turn to look at the clock on the other side of the room and widen your eyes when you find that it is half an hour past when you were meant to be finished. “Speaking of,” you start. “We ran really late.”
Choso perks up, following your gaze. “Oh… shit, sorry. I didn’t mean to… keep you.”
“No, it’s okay! Really. I didn’t even notice what time it was,” you say. Choso stalls with his hand on his computer, having prepared to put it away, but something in his mind is making him hesitate.
“So-”
“Did you-”
You both stop, having talked over each other, and you laugh nervously. “Sorry, you first,” you tell him.
“No, you go.”
You oblige. “Well… when are you free next? We can keep working on your draft. Maybe in the library soon if you want a change of scenery? Or not, we could just stay here.”
You don’t know why you’re all of a sudden acting like a child struggling to speak before him. You are meant to be scheduling a follow-up, as you do with everyone you tutor, but somehow it feels as though you’re asking Choso out on a date.
Before you can say anything more, the brunette is nodding before he even comprehends what you’re asking. “Yes. The library is good. Let’s do that.”
You grin, relieved. “Okay. Cool. Great. When-?”
“Whenever,” he rushes. You blink, and he reels in upon noticing how quickly he answered. He turns away. “I mean- whenever you’re free.”
“Next week? Same time?”
He hums. “Yeah. That’s- that’s perfect.”
You go to stand as Choso reaches for his bag, slinging it over his shoulder. The two of you stand before each other, silence taking you as you find yourselves unsure of what else to say.
You look to the side and notice that Choso’s computer is still sitting on the table. You reach out for it, gathering it safely in your hands and presenting it to him. “Here. Don’t forget this.”
He looks down at the device and his brows lift. “Oh, yeah. Right,” he takes the computer from your hands, brushing his fingers accidentally with yours, before pulling it into his grasp and tucking it into his bag, lowering his head to hide his flustered expression. “Thank you. And thanks for the… the help.”
You nod, smiling. “Anytime.”
You remain before each other for a moment more, neither of you desiring to leave just yet.
“Should I, you know, give you my contact?” Choso suggests, and you perk up. “For next week, and I guess in the future when we schedule other appointments…”
“Oh, yeah! Sure, here.”
You pull out your phone and let him hover over you, his scent invading your senses once more as he types his number into an empty contact. You call it once he is finished so that your number can pop up on his phone, and he leans away. “Got it.”
“Great,” you smile at him. “I’ll see you next week?”
“Yeah. See you then.”
You watch his tall figure trudge away, out of the doorway and down the hall with his face into his phone as he works to save your contact. The moment he leaves, you heave out and press your hand to your chest, excitement fluttering through you in the form of butterflies.
Hell. What you would have given to get just another five minutes alone with that beautiful stranger. Maybe he would have asked you to hang out sometime properly.

trey clover and responsibilities; a meta after his book 7 dream
[spoilers for jpn server book 7 content ahead!]
as the eldest brother trey has always been the 'responsible' one. but his wish is to live in peace, to never have expectations thrust onto him (hence his constant downplaying) but instead to use his passion and skill (baking), which is the one thing he doesn't downplay, to make the people around him happy. to see them smile while eating his food, to 'grow', for him to be able to see them enjoy themselves and for himself to do what he enjoys without restrictions. yet as cater reveals, not only did riddle freeze him out after his excitement (which as you can imagine, was painful for trey, as if the childhood scolding wasn't enough trauma. ESPECIALLY as he sees riddle as like a, to quote him, 'younger brother' thus 'his responsibility'), but he was voted for vice housewarden as a result. all these responsibilities and expectations were thrust upon him when all he ever wanted was for riddle to be 'free', for everyone to get along, for him to be useful to others. and so trey gets a first row seat to riddle and all his changes and his struggles and his anger, and he's forced to take a role and he ends up taking one of an enabler, someone passive. he ends up 'painting over it' and scrambling for a sense of normalcy amidst all this, and as vice housewarden the blanket of duty he feels heavily falls on him -- trey has always put importance on responsibility and his image, like when he talks about upperclassmen needing to set a good example for their juniors. and so he suppressed his own emotional turmoil and focused only on those around him, on sorting out trouble and pacifying riddle, while ignoring his own feelings on the matter and refusing to take a stand.
all this culminates into the overblot, and trey's book 7 dream with chenya as the dorm leader says it all -- trey wanted somebody to understand him. he wanted someone who knew he would have a tough time, who not just knew but understood his past with riddle and could help him through it, to not just alleviate him from responsibility but enable him to take a role where he thrives best. he needed somebody to rely on. for once, to not be the one being relied on. cater came the closest but cater also mentioned that he kept his distance (their friendship is a whole other can of worms) and trey isn't the type to confide, either. the 3 heartslabyul senpais are a concoction of things unsaid, and so comes ace and deuce and heartshackle to give it to them straight -- leading to the overblot, but also recovery. and so in the dream trey is once again, as leona aptly implied, putting himself in a position where 'he can help grant riddle's wish' or rather he can help riddle in finding freedom from his mother (in this case through sweets), in a bid to wrestle control where in reality he constantly felt helpless to say no or to stand up to riddle. and by thinking of it as something he can control, he indirect puts more responsibility onto himself in reality, despite never having wanted it. so he's stuck in this place where it's emphasised how in 'real life' trey has expectations and responsibilities he never wanted. he never got to have his peaceful life.
and in his dream, it's the exact opposite; the responsibilities he has are ones he chose/wants, and at the same time, he has his peaceful life. he makes those around him happy, and in turn, he is happy too.

What do you think a genderswapped Harry Potter (Harriet Potter?) would've been like?
So to start... I actually don't think life at the Dursleys would be all that different for Fem!Harry. Maybe there would be less *violent* bullying from Vernon and Dudley... but they honestly don't manage all that much as it is, and Harry's "normal" abuse mostly consists of being shouted at, locked up, treated as a scullery maid, and just generally made into a scapegoat + inferior/problem child that the rest of the family can unite around. If anything, Fem!Harry would have just reminded Petunia even MORE of Lily, and stirred up even MORE complicated emotions. And we'd get even more of live-in chef/maid Cinderella!Harry. It would all feel very Matilda.
The first big change I see happening... is I don't think Ron would have bonded with Harry on the train nearly as easily, if she were a girl. Young Ron is honestly pretty uncomfortable/awkward around girls... unless he's able to put them into a category like "little sister" (which doesn't count.) Or "know-it-all" (which doesn't count.) It's kind of a plot point in Book 4 that it takes him a while to realize Hermione and Ginny are girls he and Harry could potentially ask to the dance. Ron grew up around a bunch of guys, and you can tell. I think he'd try to *impress* Fem!Harry on the train, and probably put his foot in his mouth.
Harry would be at kind of loose ends on the Hogwarts Express, and get sucked into the search for Trevor the toad as something to do. So in this version, she actually ends up bonding with Neville. Hermione would be there too but well - Hermione rubbed Harry the wrong way at first in canon, and it would be even more the case here. They're both (functionally) muggleborn girls - but Hermione is SO much better prepared, and has SUCH loving parents, and won't shut up about any of this. In a way that Canon!Harry kind of fixates on Draco for ending up with his Ideal Life, it's possible that Fem!Harry might fixate more on Hermione.
11-year-old Draco would have treated Fem!Harry exactly the same, meeting her at Madame Malkin's and later on the train. He'd still have his obsession with her, and yeah, it probably does read as more of a crush to his Slytherin buddies... but I really do not see that stopping him. If his father can't get him to be normal to Harry, then that's just how it's going to be.
Harry will still get Sorted into Gryffindor, but I don't see her being close with any of the the other Gryffindor girls. Lavender and Parvati just have very different personalities, and Harry and Hermione... are very intense people who work best when they're able to take breaks from each other. In Book 4 when Harry is exclusively hanging out with Hermione, he comments that she's not as *fun* as Ron. And we see that dynamic again in Book 7 when it's just the two of them in the tent. Like they're incredibly effective, but seem to be wearing each other down a little. I think that forcing young (less emotionally mature) Harry and Hermione to be roommates would just end up with them getting on each other's nerves.
Hermione might get pulled into the friend group when Harry and Neville need help researching Nicholas Flamel, but she could easily stay more of a supporting character or even a frenemy in this version. Fem!Harry would still be the youngest seeker in a century. (Draco would be even more motivated to steal Neville's Remembrall if Neville is Harry's best friend... so that face-off would have gone down exactly the same.) Once she's actually on the team, I could see her falling in more with the upperclassmen, and hanging out with Fred, George, Lee, and Angelina (especially if they put together that she's a bit lonely.) It could be Harry, Neville, maybe Hermione, maybe the twins solving the puzzles at the end of Book 1. They'd still suspect Snape, who... would honestly be just a slightly different flavor of antagonistic and weird towards Harry, if she were a girl.
But in second year, Ginny would be Sorted into Gryffindor and I do think that Fem!Harry and Ginny would get along great, absolutely be bros. They could bond over quidditch, and Harry would get more of a sense of Ginny's actual personality (funny, cool). I have to think 11-year-old Ginny would be much less awkward around Harry if she were a girl.
Which would be really intense actually, because Ginny would have shown up to school with the the Diary, and it's... sort of important to the plot that she's isolated and has no friends. If she shares it with Harry as a cool thing - then Harry is ABSOLUTELY going to get obsessed with it. And since Harry's a much better *get* for Tom (Tom talks about being *so* pleased when powerful, important, future nemesis Harry starts writing to him instead of Ginny...) I think you just get Possessed!Harry opening up the Chamber of Secrets.
Also, would Harry have a crush on Tom? We know that Tom Riddle tries to impress Canon!Harry, which doesn't work... but Fem!Harry he might try to charm. Tom can be very charming if he wants to be. Harry also thinks he's very handsome. Either way, Tom is going to work VERY hard to to get Harry to distrust her friends. Really, you'd just get Harry's plot about being isolated and possessed by Voldemort in Book 5 moved to Book 2. Tom would get Harry to write "her skeleton will lie in the Chamber forever" on the wall, and lure her down to the Chamber of Secrets.
However. I do think that Lily's magic, which makes it impossible for Voldemort to physically touch Harry, would also make it impossible for him to properly drain her life and take over her body. I'm thinking of the moment at the end of Book 5 where Voldemort tries to possess Harry, but Harry fights him off. So... I think Harry just wakes up in the Chamber of Secrets with an intact Diary and a basilisk she can control, since of course she's still a parselmouth.
The question is... what happens to the Diary, now that Harry knows it's dangerous? I'm thinking that when Harry disappears, Ginny freaks out and tells one of her older brothers what's going on, who tells Arthur, who tells Dumbledore. Which leaves Dumbledore with a Horcrux that still works... and it seems like if you've got school-age Tom Riddle right there, that would be a much easier way to get an answer to the question 'how many horcuxes do you plan on making?' So Dumbledore gets a head start on that project.
Harry now effectively just is the Heir of Slytherin. She can go to the Chamber whenever she wants, and the basilisk is her familiar I guess (Hagrid would LOVE helping her take care of it.) I could also see a Harry who gets more *interested* in Salazar Slytherin after this. She definitely wouldn't talk to Draco - he spent Book 2 being an asshat and calling people slurs. But Harry might try to pick Theo's brain or something.
Now Hermione. At first I was thinking - does Hermione just die, in Book 2? Would she have known to look around corners with a mirror, and so survive her basilisk attack?
I do think she'd still figure it out... and it's because of Lockhart. Hermione is a Gilderoy Lockhart *fangirl,* and without Ron and Harry poo-pooing her crush (and without first hand experience of Lockhart causing issues for Harry...) I think she's able to geek about about this with her roomies. I mean, Lavender and Parvati read Witch Weekly. They know he's won the Most Charming Smile award. Hermione likes a project, and without Harry and Ron providing one, I think her new thing is impress Lockhart. And what would impress Lockhart? Well, he's a monster hunter who is trying to find the Chamber of Secrets and identify what's inside. How cool would it be, if they were the ones who helped him? He'd write about them in his next book.
So I think the Polyjuice Potion plan (Hermione's idea) is still a go. She might even talk Lavender and/or Parvati into helping out. (I mean, they joined the DA. They're up for some rulebreaking.) Hermione would still turn herself into a cat, which would actually massively humanize her in the eyes of her roommates, and I think they all end up much better friends in this AU. Eventually, one of them does manage to Polyjuice into Pansy, which is a much more effective way of interrogating Draco. And by this point, Hermione has met Myrtle, and has enough info to solve the mystery, and even bring her findings to Lockhart. Who ah. Finds an excuse to just run. There's a very fun portion of the year where Dumbledore teaches DADA.
I don't see all that much about Book 3 changing until the climax - because the crew Harry takes down to Hagrid's after dark *would* be different. Neville, Ginny (not the Twins - I think they give Harry the Map and peace out, they've got their own stuff going on and don't want to hang out with their much younger sister.) Maybe Theo? I could see him taking on a very Hermione-ish support role by this point.
But this also causes a problem, because if Ron isn't there, Scabbers isn't with him. And if Scabbers isn't with Ron - I don't think Remus notices Peter on the map, and so just stays inside and drinks his Wolfsbane, which means Snape doesn't go down. And since Sirius' target was never *actually* Harry... I think this is just a universe where Sirius first-degree-murders Peter, and doesn't have a confrontation with Harry at all.
I do think Voldemort still comes back though. Trelawney would still have made her prophecy ("His servant has been chained these twelve years. Tonight, before midnight... the servant will break free and set out to rejoin his master.") In this universe, that prophecy would refer to Barty jr, finally throwing off the Imperius curse for the first time.
Bertha Jorkins still goes on her trip to Albania, and... Voldemort probably just possesses her the same way he did Quirrell. I bet that's easier to do after someone's been sort of fried by a memory wipe. Also, being in her head, I have to assume he's eventually gets some inkling of the fact that Barty is still alive, and so goes looking for him. Harry still goes to the Quidditch World Cup since she's friends with Ginny, her scar is still hurting (she probably writes to Lupin about this, instead of Sirius, but Lupin gives her pretty similar advice. He will have still left Hogwarts, because Snape would still have outed him as a werewolf at the end of the year.)
Harry still ends up as Champion. I think Big Sister Fleur would be a little more protective of Fem!Harry than Canon!Harry. And also... Harry just straight-up has a crush on handsome, nice, good at Quidditch Cedric. Rita could write about the Harry/Cedric/Cho love triangle, instead of Harry/Hermione/Krum.
The Yule Ball would actually be kind of a big deal for Fem!Harry. Up until now, she's been kind of a tomboy who wears Dudley's hand-me-downs... and is occasionally forced into some terrible 'party dress' when Aunt Marge visits. Harry's best friends are a boy and a tomboy, her quidditch teammates are feminine role-models but very much athletes: 'girly' hyper-femininity is something she associates with Aunt Petunia.
But, fourth year roles around. Mrs. Weasley buys her a set of emerald-green dress robes that actually look really nice, and she needs to find a date for the ball. I think she thinks about asking Cedric... but chickens out at the last minute, and asks Neville to go with her as a friend. Between her much more girly roommates, and Fleur taking pity on her and giving her some tips... I think Hermione's big Yule Ball glow-up is also Harry's first experience with wanting to look pretty, and succeeding.
I think it would be fun, and make sense, if this lead into a little secret admirer subplot. Someone is leaving her little gifts and messages, and she's thinking - is it Neville? Theo? Cedric?
(it was Draco. Instead of the blast-ended skrewts, Hagrid has them all taking care of Harry's basilisk, and like... she has a basilisk... she's the Heir of Slytherin... she asked Longbottom to the ball when she could do so much better... she was wearing green and looking perfect. Draco's Harry obsession has sorted itself out into a very serious crush.)
Back to the main plot. With Peter dead, I'm not sure Barty would be able to take care of Voldemort AND prep the ritual to bring him back to life AND impersonate Moody. He's going to need a man on the inside. I think at first he tries to use his father - but as we know that is going to get very risky very fast, because Barty Sr is remarkably good at fighting the Imperius curse, and also just knows way too much. He's a huge risk, because if he goes rouge, he'll tell Dumbledore everything (which is very nearly what happens.)
So I think Barty Jr. targets Barty Sr.'s assistant Percy Weasley, after he can no longer control his father. Uses him as a way to affect things in Hogwarts. He might imperius him, but he also might just like... Polyjuice himself into his father for short periods, and manipulate Percy in a non-magical way to make sure he helps Harry, and gets her through the maze to the cup first. Once Percy realizes what he's done... I think he re-commits to his family in penance, and stops being a such a Ministry man.
Voldemort rising works as kind of a reset button, so things would start looking a lot more canon again, only with Ron and Hermione swapped out for Ginny and Neville. Main difference being, Voldemort has Barty now. I absolutely think he would have survived Book 4.
So I'm going to leave this what-if here for now. Thanks for the ask, this was a lot of fun to think about.

alright curveball what typical archetype would boothill be in a high school setting and what would he be like with his partner >:) (hc format please)
Boothill HS AU headcanons:
OMG OMG nonnie, that’s such a cool ask. I honestly would’ve not thought about this concept myself, cause school was so so long ago for me, but I’ve got the vision of HS Boothill right away when I read it💖 CW: none, g/n reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So Boothill as the archetype would be ‘the classmate who looks like a local thug but is actually the kindest soul.’
Imagine your classmate who is not really studious and can disrupt the lesson by loudly laughing and talking in class and does this 5/5 days per week. He’s loud and brush and sometimes vulgar.
Once, he kicked and cussed out the vending machine out in hallway so loudly when you passed by that it made you physically jump. Even though he’s noticed that and tried to apologize to you, calling out your name through the hall, since that time you’ve decided that you don’t like him.
You are slightly annoyed by this and never approach him, but he’s got a big presence in school, so you see and hear things about him from time to time, though you don’t know which rumors are true and which are not. Some of them sound crazy: once he beat 4 to 5 upperclassmen alone. Some say it was 10 of them. Some say he’s got something on the principal; hence he doesn’t get in trouble with anyone. Some say it’s cause he’s the principal’s kid. Or lover. Those all sound crazy and unrealistic, but who knows?
Once you see him really beating up someone behind the school building with your own eyes. You stand there and watch for a bit, thinking about reporting this to someone, but then you notice Boothill coming up to a smaller kid, sitting on the ground not far away, comforting him and picking up his bag, helping the kid to pack the contents inside. You just hear never-ending ‘thank you’s in between small sobs and Boothill’s warm laughter afterwards.
Another day, you hear him quarrelling loudly with a teacher, which sounded again completely disrespectful from his side. Later, from murmurs around school you learn that he stood up for the shyer kid when he thought that they were unjustly reprimanded.
Once you saw him in the street after school on the day when he was missing, presumably staying in sick or something. He shouted out your name from the tree, causing you to flinch again. Turns out, he spent hours trying to get one stubborn kitty to come to him, skipping classes cause of it.
It was a bit awkward when you started dating, cause being in his orbit meant that you too became more known in school and began noticing stares and hearing whispers about you.
Boothill is a total sweetheart with you, even though he can be slightly obnoxious and is not good at reading the mood from time to time. It doesn’t matter since his positive outlook and mostly always good mood is oh so infectious.
He’s also very physical, not minding the pda at school. Walking with you holding your hand, hugging from behind etc.
He doesn’t mind spending the whole day at school attempting to study, especially if you’re a diligent student. Though he is a student who’s always ready to and will bail classes and will try to talk you into skipping school with him cause it’s just too much fun stuff happening outside that seems much more important to him.
I see the dynamic as a he’s a good influence in terms for teaching his s/o to be more assertive and confident in themselves and in return being the one who needs to be stopped and calmed out a bit when he acts on a whim.

LIVE, LAUGH, VOMIT AND DIE : GOJO SATORU, GETO SUGURU.
your upperclassmen have been busier, leaving you all alone and lonely. but tonight they finally have some time off and decided to go on a midnight picnic together with their lovely underclassmen.
warning. drunk reader, vomit, fluff, crack, under-age drinking, very very suggestive, friend gojo kiss friend reader hehehe
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
these last few weeks had been bad for you. it felt like everything was off, and no matter what you did to distract yourself, the days just dragged on. you spent most of your time alone at school because your upperclassmen, gojo and geto, were busy with a long mission. especially gojo, who seemed to always be involved in something important. the absence of their chaotic energy made your days feel empty. nobody was there to get under your skin, tease you, or steal your food. there wasn’t anyone tugging your hair in the hallway or throwing a casual arm over your shoulders like you were all just some tight-knit little family.
despite how annoying they could be, you found yourself missing them more than you wanted to admit. you missed the loud laughs, the endless teasing, and even the way gojo would shamelessly swipe your food without a second thought. without them, everything just seemed too quiet. the usual chaos they brought into your day was gone, and you felt the emptiness more with each passing day.
it had been two whole weeks since you last saw them. the first few days, you convinced yourself you didn’t care—they were just a couple of annoying upperclassmen. but as time went on, you couldn’t shake the feeling of loneliness that started creeping in. you missed them. but you were far too stubborn to reach out. even though gojo had teased you before, saying you were just one call away if you missed them. you rolled your eyes at the memory, but a part of you held onto those words more than you wanted to.
then, almost as if the universe knew what you were thinking, your phone rang late one night. it was nearly midnight, and you were already in bed, ready to force yourself into another restless sleep. the sound of your phone buzzing startled you, and when you reached over to check the screen, your heart skipped a beat. gojo.
you couldn’t help the huge smile that spread across your face as you saw his name flash on the screen. it had been too long, and just seeing his name felt like a relief. you quickly answered, trying to sound calm, though excitement was bubbling up inside you.
“hey, guess who’s outside your school gate,” gojo’s voice came through, playful and teasing as ever.
“who?” you ask lazily, pretend not to care despite you were already sitting up, swinging your legs out of bed as you tried to process what he was saying. “me and suguru. we figured you missed us so much that we’d kidnap you for a midnight picnic,“ he said with a smirk in his voice, like it was the most normal thing in the world.
you blinked, caught off guard. “a picnic? right now? it’s almost midnight!” but despite your words, you were already getting up and slipping on your shoes, too excited to care about the time or the fact that you were only wearing a simple dress. “go on, don’t keep us waiting. it’s been two weeks, you know,” gojo teased again, and you could hear geto chuckling in the background.
you hung up without another word, not bothering with a jacket or anything else. the night air hit you as you hurried out of your room and down the halls, your excitement growing with every step. you hadn’t realized just how much you missed them until now. the two people who always managed to bring chaos and fun into your life were just outside, waiting for you.
as you got closer to the school gate, you could see them standing there. gojo was leaning casually against the gate, looking as relaxed as ever, his trademark grin plastered on his face. next to him, geto stood holding a picnic basket in one hand, his other hand casually tucked into his pants pocket. their presence alone made your heart feel lighter, but you couldn’t let them know that. not yet, at least.
you slowed your pace as you got closer, deciding to play it cool. after all, they didn’t need to know how much you missed them. pretending to be annoyed, you started grumbling to yourself. “really? a midnight picnic? you two know i was about to sleep, right?” you called out as you approached, crossing your arms as you slowed to a walk. you were trying to look as unimpressed as possible, even though your heart was racing with excitement.
gojo chuckled at your comment, a smug look in his eyes as he pushed himself off the gate, stepping closer to you. “don’t bother acting all grumpy, we know you’ve been missing us.“
you rolled your eyes, trying to hold back a smile, but the way gojo was smirking made it harder. “yeah, right," you muttered, crossing your arms and shifting your weight onto one foot. "i was actually enjoying my peace and quiet.”
geto, who was quieter and more observant than gojo, smirked. he could see the excitement in your eyes, even if you were trying to hide it. “we weren’t expecting you to come running out that quick.”
gojo snickered, leaning in closer to you. “you were in such a hurry. looks like you couldn’t even wait to change out of that little dress.” he gestured towards your dress, and a faint blush appeared on your cheeks as you self-consciously crossed your arms.
you could feel a faint blush rise to your cheeks at his comment, and instinctively, you crossed your arms tighter over your chest, glaring at gojo. “i wasn’t running,” you grumbled, shooting him a pointed look. “and i didn’t change because i was lazy, okay?”
geto chuckled softly beside you, noticing the blush on your face. his tone is much more soothing as he gives you a gentle smile. “come on now, you look great.“ he added, his tone much softer and comforting, carrying a warmth that contrasted with gojo’s relentless teasing.
you huffed, still trying to maintain your grumpy facade, but it was hard when they were both standing there, looking so smug and pleased with themselves. “whatever,” you muttered under your breath, rolling your eyes dramatically as gojo slung his arm over your shoulder.
“sure, sure,” gojo grinned, pulling you in closer to him as the three of you began walking towards the park. “lazy, huh? you just missed us that much.”
“in your dreams,” you shot back, though the small smile tugging at your lips betrayed your words. geto walked beside you, hand in his pockets, glancing at you with a knowing smile. “it’s okay to admit you missed us,” he said quietly, his voice soft and understanding.
you scoffed, shaking your head as you walked between them. “i’m not admitting anything.”
“we’ll take that as a yes,” gojo teased, giving your shoulder a light squeeze as you continued toward the park.
the path leading to the park was quieter than usual, and the only sound was your footsteps and the occasional rustling of leaves. you were sandwiched between the two boys, their presence filling the air with a familiar energy that you had missed dearly.
gojo chuckled, a mischievous tone in his voice. “you don’t have to admit it, princess.” he teased, but there was genuine fondness in the way he spoke. “we already know.” geto, who was the more observant of the two, gave a soft smile, his eyes flickering toward you. “we missed you too.”
you grumbled under your breath, rolling your eyes as gojo’s teasing voice broke the quiet of the night. “shut up, i didn’t miss you,” you mumbled, didn't even bother to look at them, though the warmth in your tone gave you away.
gojo chuckled, clearly enjoying getting under your skin as always. “oh, really?” he said, his arm still slung over your shoulder like it belong there. “then why’d you come running out here so fast? couldn’t sleep without us, huh?” geto snickered quietly, giving you a side-glance. “seems like you were in such a hurry that you didn’t even bother to throw on a jacket.”
you didn’t bother responding, just grumbling under your breath as gojo’s arm remained draped over your shoulder, like it was the most natural thing in the world. you could feel his teasing gaze on you, but you refused to give him the satisfaction of a reaction. instead, you silently fumed, staring ahead as the three of you walked deeper into the park.
geto’s quiet snicker didn’t help either. you shot him a side glance, but he only raised an eyebrow, amused at your lack of defense. “cute,” he teased lightly, as if the sight of you rushing out without one was more proof that you had missed them.
the path was darker as you walked further into the park, the cool night air brushing against your skin, but you didn’t care. despite your best efforts to act annoyed, there was a certain comfort in being with them again, in the familiar banter and warmth they brought, even if they insisted on teasing you the whole time.
the three of you reached a quiet spot, surrounded by trees, the sounds of the city distant now. you sighed, still keeping your grumbling to yourself, but deep down, there was no denying that you were glad to be here with them again.
as you reached the secluded spot, gojo finally let go of your shoulder, a smug smirk still on his face. “welp, here we are,” he announced, gesturing to the area around you. “our little picnic spot for the night.”
geto followed suit, setting down the picnic basket and starting to unpack the contents. gojo, ever the restless one, immediately flopped down onto the grass, arms behind his head as he looked up at the night sky and sighed dramatically. “and to think we had to drag this grumpy lump all the way out here just to have some fun.”
as gojo flopped onto the grass with his usual dramatic flair, you couldn’t help but roll your eyes, watching him bask in the moonlight as if he hadn’t been teasing you the entire time. “drag me out here?” you muttered, crossing your arms again. “i didn’t ask for this.”
geto, ever the thoughtful one, pulled out a soft blanket from the picnic basket and gave you a small smile. “come on, sit down,” he said gently, shaking out the blanket before laying it on the grass. “we don’t want you catching a cold, especially since you didn’t bring a jacket.”
he patted the spot in the middle, insisting you settle down between him and gojo. despite your grumbling, you found yourself giving in, mostly because the blanket looked warm and the night air had gotten a little colder.
you sat down, feeling geto tuck the edges of the blanket under you, making sure you were comfortable. “there,” he murmured, his voice soft as he sat down beside you. “much better.”
you glanced at geto, feeling the warmth of the blanket under you and the quiet care in his actions. despite your usual grumbling, you couldn’t help but soften a bit. he always had this way of making sure you were comfortable, of putting you first without making a big deal out of it. it was something you really appreciated about him, even if you didn’t always say it. “thanks, suguru,” you murmured, your voice quieter now, more genuine. you gave him a small smile, your usual tough exterior slipping just a little.
geto smiled back, his expression softer and more sincere than gojo’s usual smirk. “no problem,” he replied, settling down beside you.
gojo, lying on the grass, shifted his gaze from the night sky to the two of you. he couldn’t help but roll his eyes exaggeratedly. “awww, look at you two, being all cute and sappy,” he teased, propping himself up on his elbows. “do you want a moment alone, lovebirds?”
geto simply shot gojo a look, knowing his snarky comment was just his way of lightening the mood. he shifted closer to you, his arm brushing against yours as he settled into a comfortable position. “don’t mind him. he’s just jealous because you thanked me instead of him.”
you raised an eyebrow, watching as geto began unpacking the basket, pulling out snacks one by one, followed by an impressive assortment of alcohol bottles. your eyes widened a bit at the sight, curiosity piqued as you looked between him and the collection of drinks.
“what’s with all the alcohol?” you asked, raising your voice slightly, half-amused and half-surprised. “were you planning on getting me drunk tonight or something?”
geto chuckled at your question, a hint of mischief in his eyes. gojo snickered from his spot on the grass beside him, clearly enjoying the scene. “getting you drunk is just a happy bonus,” gojo said, his smirk widening as he reached over and grabbed one of the bottles, inspecting the label playfully. “but we figured a bit of liquid courage might help loosen that grumpy demeanor of yours.”
you narrowed your eyes at the two of them, suspicion creeping into your expression as you glanced between the bottles of alcohol and their smug faces. “really?” you said unamused, crossing your arms again as you gave them both a pointed look. “isn't the drinking age in japan like, twenty? am i even allowed to have one?”
gojo and geto both chuckled, knowing they were caught. they exchanged a glance, silently communicating between them, before breaking out into grins.
gojo spoke up first, his tone full of feigned innocence. “well... technically, you’re not supposed to drink at your age. but hey, we’re jujutsu sorcerers. we break rules all the time.” geto joined in, his smile just as cheeky. “and what’s the harm in one tiny rule-break, right? you won’t tell anyone, will you?”
geto noticed your silence and the suspicion lingering in your eyes as you glanced between them. while gojo continued to playfully nudge you, geto’s expression softened. he leaned a little closer, his voice quiet and gentle as he gave you a reassuring smile. “hey,” he murmured, catching your gaze with his calm eyes. “you’re safe with us. we’re not going to do anything to make you uncomfortable, okay? we’re just messing around.”
he reached out, his fingers brushing lightly against your arm, his touch warm and reassuring. “it’s okay if you don’t want to drink,” he added, his smile growing a little softer. “we’re here to relax, have a good time, and protect you, as always. no pressure.” his words eased some of the tension in your shoulders, and you found yourself relaxing under his calm gaze. despite the chaos gojo usually brought into your life, geto was always there to balance it out, to offer a sense of stability.
you nodded slightly, and geto’s smile widened, the warmth in his expression making it impossible not to feel safe around him. “besides,” he said, his tone lightening a bit, “if anyone tries anything, you’ve got the two strongest sorcerers looking out for you.”
you nodded, giving geto a small smile in return. “i know,” you said softly, feeling the warmth of his words sink in. with that reassurance, you grabbed a bag of chips from the snacks and tore it open, the familiar salty scent hitting your nose.
without another word, you plopped yourself down on the blanket, laying back with the open bag resting on your stomach. you crunched on a chip, the sound filling the quiet night air as you stared up at the sky, feeling the cool night breeze brush against your skin. “you know,” you mumbled between bites, “this isn’t too bad. but don't expect me to say i missed you guys.”
gojo immediately rolled onto his side, propping his head up with one hand as he gave you a knowing smirk. “oh, we know,” he teased, reaching over to steal a chip from the bag on your stomach. “but actions speak louder than words, princess.”
geto smirked, also rolling onto his side and resting his head on his hand. he always appreciated gojo’s playful nature, knowing full well it often masked his more serious side. “he’s right,” geto chimed in as gojo popped the stolen chip into his mouth. “your grumpy facade might say otherwise, but your actions betray you. you could’ve stayed in bed tonight, but you chose to come out here with us, despite being a little too dressed for a picnic.”
you rolled your eyes, pretending not to be affected by their teasing, but the corners of your lips twitched in amusement. “whatever,” you muttered, grabbing another chip and tossing it into your mouth, refusing to give them the satisfaction of a real response.
gojo chuckled at your stubbornness, clearly enjoying the banter. after a moment, his tone shifted to something more genuine, curiosity glimmering in his eyes. “but seriously, doll face,” he asked, propping himself up on one elbow to get a better look at you. “how have you been these past two weeks without us to annoy you?”
his question was straightforward, lacking the usual teasing edge, and it caught you off guard. you glanced at him, surprised by the sincerity in his voice. “uh, you know... the usual,” you replied, trying to play it cool as you focused on the stars above instead of his gaze. “just school, training, slacking off, annoyed shoko, steal her stash, you know... trying to keep myself entertained.”
gojo’s smirk widened at your answer, clearly amused at the thought of you causing chaos in the absence of him and geto. “ah, the classic routine,” he said, chuckling to himself. “sounds like you’ve been keeping our namesakes proud.”
geto, ever the more observant one, studied you for a moment, his gaze shifting from you to the stars above. “did you... miss us at all?” he asked, his voice softer than usual. “did it get lonely without us around?”
you paused for a moment, the weight of geto’s question sinking in. it was easy to brush off the feeling when you were trying to act tough, but the truth was, yes, you did miss them. “yeah,” you finally admitted, your voice barely above a whisper. “it did get lonely without you guys around.”
the admission hung in the air, and you could feel the tension shift slightly. you looked down at the blanket, your fingers idly picking at a loose thread. “i mean, there’s nobody there to buy me anything or make sure i eat well, now i have to used my pocket money,” you added with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. “and, training alone sucks.”
gojo laughed heartily at your last comment, the sound filling the air. “ah, the struggle is real.” he said, shaking his head dramatically. “how will you ever survive without my wallet to sponsor your snacks?”
geto smiled, appreciating the honesty in your confession. “training alone would suck,” he agreed, rolling onto his back and gazing up at the stars. “can’t say i blame you. the training room would be a lot quieter without our noisy asses around.”
you chuckled at gojo’s playful lament, shaking your head. “hey, you’re the one who insists on paying every time! it’s not my fault i’m getting used to it now,” you shot back, a teasing smile on your lips. it felt good to banter back and forth like this again, like no time had passed at all.
you felt a warmth spread through you at their words. it was reassuring to know that your presence made a difference, that they enjoyed having you around just as much as you enjoyed having them around. “but yeah, i agree,” you replied, a hint of nostalgia creeping into your voice. “training alone really does suck. it’s so much more fun when you guys are there to push my buttons and make everything more chaotic.”
gojo let out another laughter-filled chuckle, clearly enjoying the playful banter. “what can i say? i like spoiling people,” he joked, giving a little shrug. “especially cute girls.” geto, ever the quieter of the two, smiled at your words. “it is more fun when you’re around,” he said, his gaze still fixed on the stars above. “even if we drive you nuts sometimes.”
gojo rolled onto his stomach, resting his head on his arms as he continued to smirk at you. “but hey, it’s all in good fun, right?” he said, his tone light and playful. “and you wouldn’t have us any other way.”
you nodded, a small smile still lingering on your lips. “sadly,” he said, playfully, your eyes shifting from the stars to him, you noticed the proximity between the two of you. his head was merely inches away from yours, his expression still wearing that playful smirk.
gojo’s smirk widened as you noticed how close he was to you, clearly enjoying your reaction. “oh come on, don't act so reluctant,” he teased, his voice slightly lower. “you know you love having us around.”
geto, not wanting to be left out of the playful banter, chimed in with a sly smile. “yeah, you're stuck with us,” he said, lifting his head to look at you. “so you might as well get used to it.”
gojo chuckled, pushing himself onto his arms to hover over you slightly. the proximity only heightened the tension between you, making the air around you feel just a little warmer. “so, doll face,” he said, his voice still laced with playfulness. “how about we make a deal.”
you hummed in response, raising an eyebrow as you tilted your head slightly to look up at gojo. the closeness between you made your heartbeat quicken, though you tried not to let it show. “what kind of deal?” you asked, curiosity mixing with amusement as you met his playful gaze.
gojo’s smirk widened, a mischievous gleam in his eyes. “it's a simple one,” he said, his voice lowering to a whisper. “i'll stop teasing you for the rest of the night if you give me one little thing in exchange.” geto, ever observant, picked up on the tension in the air and silently watched the interaction, a small smile playing on his lips.
“what do you want?”
gojo chuckled, clearly enjoying the game he was playing. he leaned in a little closer, his face mere inches away from yours. “well,” he said, his voice almost a purr. “there's something i've been wanting for a while now.”
he paused for a moment, his gaze flickering down to your lips before meeting your eyes again, his smirk more cocky than ever. “but i think it’s something you’re more than willing to give me.”
geto, now fully intrigued, watched the interaction between you and gojo with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. he knew his friend was up to his usual playful antics, and he couldn’t help but silently wonder what gojo was up to this time.
gojo’s smirk grew wider, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on you. “so, doll face,” he repeated, his voice a little lower this time. “do you think you can give me what i want?”
you raised an eyebrow at gojo, your curiosity piqued by his cryptic words. “well, you’re gonna have to tell me what you want first,” you replied, keeping your tone casual, though the closeness between you made it harder to ignore the warmth spreading across your skin.
gojo chuckled at your response, clearly enjoying the way you were keeping your cool despite the tension between you. “ah, but where’s the fun in that?” he teased, his eyes glimmering with mischief. “wouldn’t you rather i surprise you?”
geto, still watching quietly, couldn’t help but chuckle under his breath at gojo’s antics. he knew his friend had something up his sleeve, and he found the whole situation quite amusing. you hummed, pretending to think about it, a smirk playing on your lips. “maybe,” you replied, your tone teasing as you glanced between gojo and geto.
gojo’s smirk widened, clearly amused by your response. “oh, you're such a tease, doll face,” he said, his voice low and flirty. “but fine, i'll give you a hint.” he shifted to lean even closer, his face almost touching yours. “what i want is something you can give me without even having to get up,” he said, his eyes flickering down to your lips again.
geto, watching the interaction, couldn't help but chuckle quietly again. he knew exactly what gojo was hinting at, but he wasn't going to interrupt the moment. he leaned back, a small smile on his lips, enjoying the show in front of him. gojo’s smirk grew wider, his eyes locking onto yours as he continued to invade your personal space. “so, doll face,” he repeated, his voice a little lower this time. “can you guess what it is?”
you looked at gojo, unfazed by his proximity, your lips curling into a slight smirk. “i’m not really in the mood for guessing games,” you replied coolly, your tone daring. “i prefer action.”
gojo's smirk mirrored your own, enjoying the challenge in your words. “oh, you like things direct, do you?” he said, his voice dripping with flirtation. “i can work with that.” he shifted even closer to you, his body almost covering yours now. “well then, doll face,” he repeated, his eyes flickering back and forth between your eyes and lips. “how about i show you?”
geto, still observing the interaction, rolling his eyes, taking a sip of the beer in his hand. he knew gojo could be impulsive and unpredictable, but he also knew that you could hold your own against his friend’s relentless teasing. gojo’s smirk widened as he closed the remaining distance between the two of you, his face mere millimeters away from yours. “are you ready for that?” he asked, his voice a seductive whisper.
you glanced at gojo, then at geto, who was still watching with that knowing smile, clearly entertained by the whole situation. after a brief pause, you let out a soft sigh, feeling the weight of the moment before finally closing your eyes. “fine,” you muttered, though your heart raced just a little faster, curious about what gojo had planned. “but this better be worth it.”
gojo’s smirk turned into a full grin, clearly enjoying your response. “oh, doll face,” he murmured, his voice soft and seductive. “you have no idea.”
he took a moment to appreciate your closed eyes, the slight rise and fall of your chest, the way your lips were parted just slightly. “you look so damn cute when you’re pretending not to be curious,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. without another word, he closed the gap between your faces, his lips gently pressing against yours in a soft kiss. his hand came up to cup your cheek as he kissed you, his touch gentle yet possessive.
geto, watching from the side, couldn't help but smile at the sight of you and gojo together. he admired his friend’s boldness and your willingness to play along. he leaned back, resting his head on one hand as he continued to observe the scene unfolding in front of him.
gojo’s kiss was slow and lazy, as if he had all the time in the world to explore your lips. his tongue gently teased its way into your mouth, tasting you, as his hand on your cheek held you in place.
as gojo’s lips moved against yours, you couldn't help but notice the faint taste of alcohol lingering on his breath. the flavor was subtle but unmistakable, making you smirk slightly against his kiss. you pulled back just enough to catch your breath, your eyes fluttering open as you met his gaze. “seriously?” you muttered, raising an eyebrow. “you taste like a bar.”
your comment made gojo grin even wider, clearly unfazed by your observation. “can't help it, y/n,” he replied, his voice a low murmur. “we had a few drinks before you showed up, and i needed some liquid confidence to pull this off.”
his hand still lingered on your cheek, his thumb gently stroking your skin. “but don’t worry, doll face,” he continued, his smile sly. “i have no plans to get wasted tonight.” geto, laying silently to the side, couldn’t help but laugh at your little argument. “don't worry, he knows his limits,” he chimed in, amused by the banter. he leaned back in, his lips brushing against yours again, his touch becoming more insistent. “besides,” he added, his tone growing sultry. “you don’t seem to mind the taste all that much.”
you smirked at gojo’s boldness, but when he leaned in for another kiss, you placed your hands on his chest and gave him a lazily shove. “alright, that’s enough,” you said with a light chuckle. “get off, satoru.”
gojo let out a mock pout as you pushed him back, clearly enjoying the game you were playing. “aw, come on, doll face,” he protested, his tone light and playful. “i was just getting started.” he reluctantly pulled back, rolling onto his back next to you, keeping close enough to maintain the playful banter. “you’re a tough nut to crack, aren’t you?” he teased, his eyes roaming over you with a mixture of amusement and desire.
you sat up, brushing off your clothes and throwing a pointed look at gojo. “last i checked, friends don’t go around kissing each other,” you said with a teasing smirk, though there was an edge of seriousness in your voice.
gojo chuckled, clearly unbothered by your comment. “friends don’t, but we’re not just friends, doll face,” he replied, his tone still playful. “we’re so much more than that.” he rolled onto his side, propping his head up with one hand as he looked at you, his eyes still roaming over your figure. “besides,” he continued, his smirk growing wider. “who said we can’t have a bit of fun between friends?”
you raised an eyebrow, giving gojo a look that was half amused, half exasperated. “you two are such a bad influence on me,” you muttered, rolling your eyes as you leaned back on your hands with a can of open alcohol in your lap, trying to brush off his playful advances.
gojo let out a hearty laugh, clearly enjoying your response. “what can i say?” he replied, his tone unapologetic. “we enjoy pushing boundaries, and you make it so damn fun to do it.” geto, smiling from where he was sitting, couldn't help but chime in. “you know you love it, doll face,” he teased, his tone affectionate. “and you secretly like being a little bad on occasion.”
you let out a small huff, trying to keep up your facade of annoyance, but secretly enjoying the banter with gojo and geto. “yeah, yeah,” you muttered, taking a sip from the can of alcohol in your hands. “you both still suck.”
gojo and geto chuckled at your attempt to downplay your enjoyment. they knew how to read you too well. “you love sucking,” gojo quipped, his tone dripping with innuendo as he threw you a sly wink. geto, always the more subtle one, gave you a small smile. “you’re too adorable when you’re pretending to be annoyed, doll face,” he said, his tone gentle yet teasing. “we know you love the game as much as we do.”
you slapped gojo’s shoulder, shaking your head with a mix of annoyance and amusement. “stop being a pervert, satoru,” you said, giving him a pointed look, though the slight smile on your lips betrayed your seriousness. then, turning to geto, you raised an eyebrow, leaning forward slightly. “i’m not pretending,” you retorted, though your tone was lighter, a playful glint in your eyes. “you two just have a way of getting under my skin.”
gojo laughed heartily at your response, clearly unfazed by your attempt to push him back. “you love it when i’m a pervert,” he teased, his tone still playful, but there was something more beneath it.
geto leaned back, crossing his arms as he watched the interaction between the two of you. “and you enjoy every second we’re under your skin,” he added, his gaze fixated on you, a smile playing on his lips. “admit it, doll face. you love the chaos we bring.”
the three of you spent the late-night picnic talking and laughing, with you doing most of the drinking. as the night wore on, the cool air settled around you, and though you tried to ignore it, your body began to shiver slightly. geto was the first to notice, his gaze softening as he saw you trying to suppress the cold with a tipsy smile. without a word, he slipped off his jacket and gently draped it over your shoulders, the warmth immediately comforting against the chill.
“satoru, she’s freezing," he murmured quietly, his eyes flicking over to his friend. gojo, who had been teasing you moments earlier, looked over and saw the slight tremble in your frame. his smirk faded into a look of genuine concern as he scooted closer, wrapping an arm around you to pull you into his warmth. “should’ve told us sooner, doll face,” he said softly. “can’t have you freezing out here.”
“you really shouldn’t be wearing a dress in the middle of the night,” gojo muttered, his arm still around you as he looked down at your outfit. “at least grab a jacket next time. you’re lucky we’re here to keep you warm.”
geto chuckled softly, nodding in agreement. “he’s right, you know. we should’ve made you grab something warmer before heading out. but you were in such a rush to meet us, huh?” you rolled your eyes at their teasing, but a small smile tugged at your lips. “alright dad,” you joked, giggling uncontrollably, though you were grateful for their concern.
gojo and geto shared a smile at your sarcastic remark, amused by your drunk state. they notice you started getting more drunk as you continue to drown your body with alcohol, making you a bit more relaxed and carefree than usual and a lot more giggling and emotional.
gojo smirked, finding your giggling endearing. “we just want to make sure our doll face doesn't freeze her cute butt off,” he replied, his tone still light but with a hint of protectiveness. geto chuckled at your retort, his eyes filled with amusement and affection. “yeah, we don’t want our favorite girl catching a cold from being stubborn,” he added, his expression fond.
gojo tightened his arm around you, pulling you closer to his warm chest. “plus, we both know you look cute in our clothes,” he murmured, his voice slightly lower.
your drunken giggle bubbled out as you leaned further into gojo's chest, blinking slowly as your words slurred together. “mmm, you guys always think you’re so smart…” you blabbered, waving a hand dramatically. “i can dress myself... it’s just— just— sometimes your clothes are comfier… and smell nice…” you trailed off, another soft giggle escaping as you tugged at the sleeve of gojo’s shirt, clearly enjoying the warmth around you.
gojo chuckled warmly, clearly enjoying your disoriented state. “oh, we know you can dress yourself,” he replied, his tone playful yet affectionate. “but that doesn’t mean we can’t have the urge to baby you a little, doll face.”
geto, sitting next to you, was fighting back a smirk as he watched you, clearly amused but also incredibly fond. “besides, it’s not just the comfort and the smell,” he chimed in, his voice gentle but with a hint of teasing. “it’s also the fact that we like seeing you wearing our clothes, doll face.”
you giggled, lifting the can for another sip, but before it reached your lips, geto’s hand gently stopped yours. “alright, that’s enough, y/n,” he said, his tone firm yet caring as he smoothly took the can from you. “i think you’ve had more than enough fun for one night.”
you pouted, your eyes half-lidded and your cheeks flushed from the alcohol. “but i was jus’ getting started,” you slurred, a giggle bubbling up again as you leaned your head against gojo’s chest, your body swaying slightly. gojo chuckled, wrapping an arm more securely around you. “yeah, and if you keep going, we’ll be carrying you home, princess,” he teased, glancing at geto as they both shared an amused look.
geto smiled, setting the can aside before gently brushing a thumb over your cheek. “you’ve had a good time, and now it’s our turn to take care of you.” geto glanced at his watch, raising an eyebrow. “it’s almost three a.m.,” he muttered, looking over at gojo with a small sigh. “we better get her to dorm before she passes out.”
you frowned, trying to sit up but immediately swayed, your head falling back onto gojo’s shoulder. “i don’t wanna go,” you slurred, pouting as you tried to argue. “it’s... nice here. we should... stay longer.” gojo chuckled softly, his arm keeping you upright. “y/n, you can’t even keep your head straight without using me as a pillow,” he teased, brushing a strand of hair away from your face. “you’ve had your fun. let us take you back, okay?”
geto nodded, agreeing with gojo’s assessment. “he's right, y/n,” he said, his tone warm but firm. “you’re clearly beyond tipsy right now and trying to get you back with as much dignity intact as possible is going to be hard enough.”
he smiled gently at your protest, though he could tell it was mostly the alcohol talking. “we’ll have plenty of nights just like this,” he assured you, his hand still resting on your cheek. “but right now, you need to let us take care of you.”
neither gojo nor geto paid any mind to your protests, already moving to help you stand. gojo slipped an arm under your shoulders, steadying you as you wobbled a bit. “come on, doll face, let’s get you home,” he said with a chuckle, his tone still teasing but soft.
geto grabbed the jacket draped over your shoulders, his smile widening as you giggled at his request. “hands up,” he instructed, waiting for you to follow through.
with a light laugh, you complied, your arms lifting into the air. geto gently slid his jacket over your arms and shoulders, adjusting it properly to keep you warm. “there you go,” he murmured, brushing off the sleeves. “all set.”
gojo grinned at the sight of you wrapped up in geto’s jacket, shaking his head. “you look adorable,” he added, his voice full of affection. geto chuckled softly as he stuffed the last of the trash into the basket, watching gojo struggle to keep you from wandering off. “you’ve got your hands full, huh?” he teased, glancing at his friend.
gojo rolled his eyes playfully, tightening his grip around you. “you have no idea.” once geto finished cleaning, gojo looked down at you, raising an eyebrow. “you think you can walk, doll face?”
you nodded enthusiastically, pulling away from his hold and attempting to walk. but before you even took two steps, your foot caught on the uneven grass, sending you tumbling face-first into the ground. gojo and geto both burst out laughing, though they quickly moved to help you up. “well, that answered the question,” gojo said between chuckles, kneeling beside you. “maybe walking’s not your best option right now.”
gojo chuckled softly after helping you back up, shaking his head. “you’re something else, doll face,” he muttered with a grin. noticing the length of your dress, he quickly took off his blue button-down shirt that he’d been using as an outer layer, carefully wrapping it around your waist to cover you up.
“can’t have you showing off something you’re not supposed to,” he teased, though his tone held a protective edge. once the shirt was securely tied, he crouched down in front of you. “alright, hop on,” he said, motioning for you to get on his back.
you giggled as you wobbled slightly, wrapping your arms around his neck and letting him lift you with ease. gojo stood up, holding you securely on his back, while geto smirked, gathering the last of your things. “better safe than sorry,” geto remarked, watching as gojo adjusted his grip on you. “besides, she’s probably gonna fall asleep before we even make it home.”
gojo grinned, feeling your head already resting against his shoulder. “yeah, but at least she’ll be warm and covered up,” he said, starting to walk.
geto fell into step beside gojo as he carried you on his back, occasionally stealing glances at you. he couldn’t help but smile at the sight of you, wrapped up in gojo’s shirt and his own jacket, your head resting against his friend’s shoulder. you looked so cute and vulnerable that it only heightened his protective instincts.
he couldn’t help but chuckle as you snuggled into gojo’s back, clearly getting comfortable. “she’s already halfway asleep,” he commented, his tone fond. “bet she won’t even remember this in the morning.”
hearing geto’s words, you didn’t say anything, only letting out a soft hum as you rested your cheek more comfortably against gojo’s shoulder. the warmth from his body, along with geto’s jacket wrapped around you, made you feel cocooned in safety. even in your drunken haze, you could feel how much they cared for you—more than you could express at the moment.
the thought flickered through your mind, a drunken blur, that despite how annoying they could be, they always looked out for you. they didn’t try to get you drunk for anything malicious or shady. they just wanted you to have fun, to relax, to forget about everything for a while. and they were here, right now, making sure you were safe, taking care of you, even though you were a mess.
a small, sleepy smile tugged at your lips as you felt grateful for their presence, too tired to say anything but comforted by the fact that they always had your back. you smiled softly, your voice barely above a whisper as you murmured, “you two… always been so nice to me…” your words slurred slightly from the alcohol, but the sincerity behind them was clear, forcing yourself to voice your gratitude.
gojo’s grip tightened around you as he heard your sleepy words, touched by the way you were trying to express yourself despite your drunk state. he glanced back at geto, silently conveying his own agreement with a small nod.
geto chuckled softly, shaking his head as he heard your slurred words. “you’re just saying that because you’re drunk, doll face,” he teased, though there was a hint of affection in his voice.
gojo couldn’t help but smile, his chest swelling with a mixture of emotions. “yeah, no way you’d be that sweet when you’re sober,” gojo added, his tone playful yet also fond. “you’re always so feisty and stubborn, but here you are, being all soft and adorable.” he glanced back at geto, who was watching you with a smile of his own. “though, it’s not like we mind. we like taking care of you. even when you’re a damn mess.”
you giggled softly between hiccups, your voice coming out in a mix of amusement and vulnerability. “maybe… and maybe i’ll regret saying this when i’m sober…” you paused for a moment, as if gathering your thoughts, before continuing in a low, almost shy tone. “but… i feel grateful to have you both in my life.”
gojo and geto’s footsteps momentarily faltered upon hearing your unexpected praise, clearly caught off guard by your vulnerable admission. they exchanged a quick glance, both trying to hide the mixture of surprise and warmth that filled their hearts.
gojo chuckled softly, his tone tinged with a hint of disbelief. “well damn, doll face, you know just how to surprise us, huh?” he teased, keeping his voice light to mask the sudden rush of emotions. “who knew you could be so damn sweet when you’re drunk?”
geto let out a small scoff, still trying to process your words. “maybe we should get you drunk more often,” he joked, unable to resist the temptation to tease you. but behind his lighthearted words, he could feel a wave of emotions surging through him. he’d never heard you say anything quite like that, and the fact that you were expressing it now, in this vulnerable state, only made it feel all the more significant.
gojo’s grip on you tightened slightly as he continued walking, the small action betraying the emotions churning inside him. “and here we thought you were too stubborn to admit something like that,” he commented, his tone a mix of mock surprise and affection.
geto couldn’t help but chime in, his own words carrying a hint of gentle ribbing. “yeah, doll face. you’ve been holding out on us. why didn’t you mention how grateful you are for us before?”
you stirred slightly at their teasing, your voice soft but slurred as you responded, “don’t… don’t go anywhere, okay?” your words carried a hint of vulnerability that was unusual for you, even in your drunken state while your arms tightened around gojo’s neck. “promise me… just stay with me.”
gojo and geto’s teasing smiles faded upon hearing the raw vulnerability in your voice, replaced by a mix of concern and affection.
gojo’s hand tightened around you, his heart clenching at your plea. “we’re right here, y/n. we’re not going anywhere,” he assured you, his tone gentle yet firm. geto reached out, his hand running gently through your hair as if to offer reassurance. “we’ll always be here for you. you don’t have to ask us to stay,” he murmured, his voice filled with tenderness.
geto saw as you continued to rest your cheek on gojo’s shoulder, but then you started to pucker your lips, and they began trembling before you broke down completely. tears spilled from your eyes as you expressed how hard it was for you at school without them, tightening your arms around gojo’s neck in a desperate attempt for comfort.
“it’s just so hard without you two,” you sobbed, your voice muffled against gojo’s shirt. “i feel so alone sometimes, and everything just gets overwhelming. i miss you both so much when you’re not there and everyone always pissing me off.”
geto’s expression shifted from concern to a gentle mix of amusement and warmth as he watched the dramatic flip your demeanor had taken. he couldn't help but chuckle softly. “there it is,” he said, shaking his head with a fond smile. “the alcohol really knows how to bring out the feelings, doesn’t it?”
gojo’s shoulders sank slightly as he listened to your tearful confession. he’d never seen you so emotionally vulnerable, and it was a stark reminder of the weight you carried on your shoulders.
“sshhh… it’s okay, doll face,” he soothed, his voice a soft murmur as he adjusted his grip on you, holding you even closer. “we’re here now, and we’re not going anywhere.” geto chuckled softly, his hand gently tousling your hair. “yeah, the alcohol definitely does that. you’re a real emotional mess right now.”
you continued to blubber, tears streaming down your cheeks as you tried to catch your breath. “it’s just… it’s so hard!” you slurred, your words tumbling out in a jumbled mess. “people are sooo annoying, and i’m just tryna keep it together, but… but it feels like everything’s falling apart!” your voice cracked, and you tightened your grip around gojo's neck, burying your face against his shoulder, the warmth of his body a comfort amidst the whirlwind of emotions.
gojo couldn’t help but laugh softly at your state, the sound light and playful as he gently shook his head. “you’re such a crybaby right now,” he teased, a grin spreading across his face.
a small chuckle escaped from geto, who couldn't help but find your drunken state endearing. he knew you were usually tough and composed, so seeing you so emotional and vulnerable was a sight he couldn’t resist ribbing you for.
he smirked slightly, his hand still running gently through your hair. “yeah, doll face, you’re really letting it all out now, huh?” he teased, his tone a mix of amusement and affection.
gojo couldn’t help but join in, his own voice tinged with warmth and familiarity. he chuckled again, the sound gentler this time. he gently patted your thigh on his arm, his voice filled with a mix of affection and banter. “you’re acting like the world is ending, doll face. but you know we’re not going anywhere. you’re stuck with us.”
a soft groan escaped your lips as the whirlwind of emotions and alcohol started to catch up with you. your stomach churned uneasily, and you made a sound that sent a flicker of concern across both their faces. “uh-oh…” you murmured, your voice barely above a whisper, but the warning was clear enough. “i think i’m about to throw up…”
gojo’s eyes widened in alarm as your words registered, his playful demeanor instantly replaced by genuine panic. “wait, what?!” he exclaimed, his grip on you tightening as if that could somehow prevent the impending disaster. “don’t you dare throw up on me! i just wrapped my shirt around you!”
geto, meanwhile, paled slightly as he heard your warning. “oh lord, not on my jacket,” he said, his voice tinged with a hint of panic. both of them knew from experience that dealing with a drunk person who was throwing up was never a fun time.
gojo glanced at geto, a mixture of worry and annoyance etched across his features. “great, just what we needed,” he muttered, his tone tinged with resignation. “now what?”
you felt the pressure building in your stomach, and instinctively, you pressed your lips into a tight line, your expression shifting from emotional to desperate in an instant. the gagging sounds escaped you involuntarily, and you shot a pleading look at gojo, silently begging him to understand the urgency of the situation.
gojo noticed the shift in your demeanor immediately. his eyes darted back to geto, who looked equally alarmed. “uh, satoru…” geto started, his voice low, “i think she really can’t hold it anymore.”
gojo’s heart raced as he processed your silent plea. “okay, okay,” he muttered, shifting you slightly so he could support you with one arm while he lowered you to the ground. “just hang on a second, we’re gonna get you—”
the moment your feet touched the grass, you bent forward, unable to hold back any longer. the sounds of retching filled the air as you lost the battle against your stomach, the contents of your stomach spilling onto the ground.
gojo’s eyes widened in horror as he jumped back instinctively. “no, no, no!” he exclaimed, quickly covering his nose with his shirt and stepping away. “not on my watch!”
geto, though slightly more composed, grimaced and held his jacket that still cling to your body so the vomit didn't get to the fabric, trying to shield it from the chaos unfolding. “please aim away from me!” he called out, half-amused and half-concerned, though he couldn’t help but chuckle at the ridiculousness of the situation.
as the wave of nausea passed, you felt a mix of embarrassment and relief, your eyes watering slightly from the effort. you straightened up slowly, panting as you tried to regain your composure, glancing up at your two friends. “sorry…” you mumbled, feeling the heat of embarrassment flood your cheeks.
gojo's shock slowly shifted to annoyance as the reality of the situation sank in. “ugh, that’s just great,” he muttered, his voice filled with a mixture of disgust and disbelief. he clutched his shirt tightly against his nose, as if that could shield him from the smell.
geto, on the other hand, struggled to contain his laughter, the sight of the situation too ridiculous to ignore. “oh man, that’s just priceless,” he chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “you really couldn’t hold it in, could you, doll face?”
you opened your mouth to respond, only to raise a finger as you realized another wave of nausea was crashing over you. “wait—just a minute,” you managed to say weakly, but before you could finish, you bent down again, grasping the electric pole beside you for support.
gojo and geto both groaned in disgust, instinctively recoiling slightly at the sight, but their instincts kicked in immediately. gojo tightened his grip on the shirt around your waist, while geto held his jacket close to your body, determined to keep it safe from the mess.
“oh, come on!” gojo exclaimed, a mix of exasperation and concern in his voice as he held your hair back with one hand, making sure it stayed out of your face. “this is not how i envisioned tonight going!”
geto couldn’t contain his laughter, even as he grimaced at the situation. “this is a wild ride, i’ll give you that,” he said, trying to keep the mood light despite the stench that lingered in the air. “just remember, we still love you, even when you’re a walking disaster.”
as you heaved again, the world around you faded for a moment, your focus narrowing to the relief of letting it all out. you felt gojo’s gentle grip on your hair and the warmth of geto’s jacket against your skin, a comforting reminder that they were there for you, even in your most vulnerable moments.
through your tears and nausea, you continued to heave, your body wracked with the effort. “don’t look at me!” you managed to cry out between gasps, your voice trembling as you felt utterly exposed and vulnerable. “i swear, i’m going to kill you both if you look!”
both gojo and geto couldn’t help but chuckle at your threat, knowing full well that it was an empty one given your current state.
“oh relax, doll face,” geto responded, a trace of amusement in his voice. “you’re not exactly radiating a sexy glow right now. we’re too busy holding onto you to look at you in that way.” gojo joined in, a sardonic smirk on his face. “yeah, we’re more concerned about avoiding your vomit shower than checking you out.”
as your body convulsed with the force of your heaves, gojo couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy mixed with the disgust. he leaned in a little closer, his tone a strange mixture of comfort and concern. “just let it all out, doll face. you’ll feel better once you get it all out of your system.”
geto chimed in again, his voice tinged with a hint of amusement. “yeah, go ahead and make a mess. we’re still holding our noses here, so keep doing your thing.”
as you continued to cry and throw up, the embarrassment washed over you in waves, but the reassurance of their presence somehow made it a little more bearable. you could feel their concern even without looking at them, and despite your irritation, a small part of you appreciated the way they stood by you in such an embarrassing moment.
after a few more moments, you finally began to feel the nausea subside, and you leaned against the pole, panting heavily. “i’m never drinking again, this is the last,” you vowed weakly, wiping your tears and taking a moment to catch your breath, feeling both drained and slightly relieved.
gojo and geto exchanged a quick glance, both of them raising an eyebrow at your declaration. “yeah, sure,” gojo drawled, a mix of skepticism and mockery in his voice. “and pigs will fly next. we’ve heard that one before, doll face.”
geto chuckled softly, his hand still holding onto the jacket to keep it safe from the mess. “you wouldn’t be the first one to swear off alcohol after a night like this. let’s see if you remember that promise in the morning.”
as you started to lower yourself to the ground, oblivious to the fact that you were about to sit right in your own mess, both gojo and geto sprang into action. “no, wait!” gojo shouted, his voice rising in panic as he lunged forward, grabbing your arm just in time. “don’t sit there!”
geto’s eyes widened in horror as he quickly pulled you back, his face contorting in disgust. “what the hell are you doing? are you trying to ruin my jacket too?” he exclaimed, his tone a mix of urgency and frustration. “you have zero sense of awareness, you know that?” gojo continued, shaking his head in disbelief. “you’re such an idiot, doll face! do you want to stain my shirt too?”
the two of them groaned in unison, exasperated yet amused by the absurdity of the situation. gojo pulled you back against him, ensuring you didn’t accidentally land anywhere near the spot where you’d just thrown up. “let’s just get you cleaned up before you make this even worse,” geto said, a hint of laughter in his voice despite the annoyance. “you really are a mess tonight.”
your lips pursed into a pout as you felt their grip tighten around you, a mix of embarrassment and irritation bubbling up inside. “you’re both so mean,” you complained, your voice still shaky from the tears and the alcohol. “i’m just trying to sit down!”
as they guided you toward the nearby convenience store on the other side of the road, your arms fell on your side, you shot them a sideways glance, your eyes narrowing slightly.
gojo couldn't help but roll his eyes at your complaint, his tone laced with a hint of mockery. “oh, stop whining, doll face. you're the one who decided to make a mess and then tried to sit in it. we're just trying to keep you from completely destroying our clothes and our sanity.”
geto chuckled, his arm wrapped around your waist as he helped you walk toward the convenience store. “yeah, we might be mean, but you’re certainly not making it easy on us. you’re like a walking disaster zone right now.”
gojo’s playful smirk faded for a moment as he took in your state—disheveled hair, tear-streaked cheeks, and the lingering remnants of your earlier mishap. a flicker of concern crossed his features as he realized just how vulnerable you looked.
“alright, hold on a second,” he said, shaking his head slightly to clear his thoughts. “i’ll buy her some water. you just… stay here and try not to let her fall over or anything.” he gave you a pointed look, trying to convey the seriousness of his words despite the playful undertone in his voice before looking at geto.
geto nodded, his grip on you tightening slightly to steady you. “yeah, no problem. just hurry up before she decides to do something else ridiculous.”
with that, gojo turned and headed towards the convenience store, leaving you and geto alone for a moment. geto sighed, his gaze fixed on you as he tried to figure out how to keep you stable and maintain a semblance of composure.
geto looked down at you, his heart aching a little at the sight. your head rested against his chest, the warmth of your body a stark contrast to the cool night air. your cheeks were flushed a bright red from the alcohol and tears, making you look even more vulnerable.
he couldn't help but chuckle softly, shaking his head slightly. “look at you... such a mess,” he murmured, pulling out his handkerchief from his pants pocket. the fabric was soft against your skin as he gently wiped your tear-streaked cheeks and the remnants of your earlier outburst from around your mouth.
“just breathe, okay?” he said softly, his voice steady and reassuring as he focused on cleaning your face. when he notices your sniffles, his expression softens further. “there, there, don’t cry, doll, you will be alright,” he reassured you, his thumb brushing lightly across your cheek as he finished wiping away the last traces of your tears.
geto felt a surge of protectiveness toward you; he wanted nothing more than to ensure you felt safe and cared for in that moment. “you’re going to be alright, princess. we’ve got you,” he added, his voice warm and soothing, hoping to ease your discomfort and bring you a bit of comfort amidst the chaos.
you looked up at geto through your lashes, a mixture of drunkenness and vulnerability making your eyes glossy and unfocused. the coolness of his handkerchief against your skin helped to anchor you in the present moment, his gentle touch and soothing words creating a small bubble of safety in the midst of the chaos.
a shaky breath escaped your lips, and you leaned into his touch, seeking comfort in his presence. your voice was small and wavering as you spoke. “sorry,” you whisper.
geto’s expression softened further as he heard the apology in your voice. he knew that deep down, you were likely feeling embarrassed and vulnerable in your current state. knowing you, he could only imagine the range of emotions running through your mind in this chaotic night.
he couldn’t help but chuckle quietly, his tone laced with affection as he shook his head slightly. “don’t worry about it,” he reassured you gently. “you’ve had quite a night, and your body’s just trying to cope with all the poison you poured into it.”
gojo emerged from the convenience store, a satisfied grin on his face as he held a cold water bottle in one hand and a mint candy in the other. he spotted you and geto, who was still attending to your emotional state, and made his way over with a sense of purpose.
“look what i got,” he announced, waving the water bottle playfully. “water to rehydrate and a mint to freshen up that mouth of yours. you definitely need it after that little incident.”
he bent slightly down to your level, the playful banter returning to his voice. after opening the cap, he lifted the bottle to your lips, tilting it gently so you could take a sip. “drink slowly. i don’t want you to choke on it,” he advised, his tone light yet caring.
you followed his instructions, sipping the water slowly and appreciatively. the coolness of the liquid brought a sense of relief, washing away the unpleasant aftertaste left by your earlier fiasco.
despite his initial banter, gojo’s voice carried a subtle hint of concern. he was clearly trying to balance the situation with his usual playfulness. “yeah, that’s it, doll face. drink up. you don’t want to be dehydrated on top of everything else.”
geto chuckled, watching as gojo took charge of taking care of you. his eyes followed the movement of the water bottle as it touched your lips, a fond smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. he knew that deep down, underneath the banter and the quips, gojo was genuinely concerned for your well-being. the fact that he was putting on a lighthearted front for your sake didn’t escape him.
once you had a good amount of water in you, he pulled the bottle away, holding it securely in one hand. with the other, he offered you the mint candy, grinning as he watched you process what he was doing. “here, try this. it’ll help with the aftertaste,” he said, his expression softening as he focused on you, ensuring you felt cared for amidst the chaos of the late night.
you let out a relieved sigh as the cool, minty flavor spread across your tongue, washing away the remnants of the previous unpleasantness. “thanks, satoru,” you murmured, your voice still slightly wobbly but grateful.
as you thanked him, gojo's expression softened even further. the sight of you, still vulnerable but slowly regaining some semblance of composure, tugged at his heart a little. he reached out, gently patting your head affectionately. his other hand stuffed the water bottle into his pocket, his usual casual attitude on display. “dont mention it, doll face. just trying to salvage what’s left of your dignity after that shitshow.”
geto chuckled softly, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “spoken like a true friend,” he teased, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. “always looking out for others, even when they’re a hot mess.”
you groaned, burying your face against geto's chest in a mix of embarrassment and frustration. “this is so embarrassing,” you mumbled, your cheeks still flushed from both the alcohol and the earlier crying. leaning your head back against him, you let out a soft sigh, wishing you could just disappear for a moment.
geto chuckled again, his voice playful and teasing. “come on, it’s not that bad. you’ve had a rough night, but at least you’ve got us to help you through it.” he glanced down at you, a smirk dancing on his lips. “so, are you ready to head back to the dorm yet? or do you need more time to wallow in your embarrassment?”
you lifted your head slightly, meeting his gaze. the warmth in his eyes made you feel a bit better, and you couldn’t help but crack a small smile. “i guess i’m ready... but only if you promise to carry me, i don’t think i can walk,” you replied, trying to lighten the mood despite the lingering embarrassment and hide your lazily by pretending.
geto let out an exaggerated groan, shaking his head with a mix of amusement and mock annoyance. “you are so annoying, you know that?” he teased, his voice laced with playful frustration. “a real pain in the ass. but fine, i guess i can’t just leave you here to wallow in your own mess.”
but despite his annoyance, he crouched down in front of you, giving you a frown as he gestured for you to hop on. “alright, but be quick about it. i don’t have all night, and if you don’t hurry, i’m just going to make you walk your ass back to the dorm,” he said, his tone half-serious but filled with laughter.
you couldn’t help but laugh at his antics, the embarrassment fading a little as you realized how lucky you were to have such supportive friends. you could see the glimmer of amusement in his eyes as you scrambled to climb onto his back, finally letting out a breath of relief. “thanks, suguru. you’re the best,” you murmured, feeling a little less embarrassed now that he was there to support you.
geto's shoulders shook slightly with laughter as he felt you climb onto his back, the familiar weight of you bringing a sense of comfort. “yeah, yeah,” he replied, his voice filled with mock arrogance. “and don’t you forget it.”
he stood up slowly, lifting you with ease despite the alcohol still coursing through your system. he patted your legs lightly, ensuring that you were secure before he started walking down the sidewalk with gojo at his side. “just lean on me alright?” he said, tone gentle but firm, “and don’t make a mess of my clothes this time,” he added before slowly, lifting you with ease.
gojo chuckled, shaking his head in amusement as he glanced sideways at the two of you. “you’re such a little diva, doll face,” he teased affectionately, his tone light and playful. “making us do all the work while you just cling onto us and make a mess like a koala.”
you chuckled softly, the warmth of geto's presence making you feel a little more at ease. “that’s what friends are for, right? to kiss, spoil, and carry me on their backs,” you replied with a playful smirk, relishing the banter between the three of you.
geto raised an eyebrow, feigning disbelief. “kiss, huh? i don’t remember signing up for that,” he joked, his voice dripping with sarcasm while he kept walking steadily. “maybe i should start charging you for all this ‘friendship’.”
gojo laughed, shaking his head in mock disbelief. “yeah, right! you’d be broke in a week with how much she asks for,” he chimed in, glancing back at you with a teasing grin. “nut i guess it’s only fair since you’re the one putting in all the hard work tonight. plus, you’ve got us looking after you. just be careful with all that diva energy; it might get you into trouble.”
you grinned, feeling the lightness of the moment wrap around you like a warm blanket. “trouble? me? never!” you replied with an exaggerated gasp, leaning a little more against geto as he carried you. “i’m just a delicate flower that needs constant care!”
as you leaned against geto and spoke with a melodramatic tone, gojo just rolled his eyes, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “oh, of course. because you’re the epitome of innocence, doll face. a perfect angel, never causing any trouble at all,” he chuckled, his steps matching the steady rhythm of geto’s strides. “yeah, just keep telling yourself that, doll face. as if we haven’t seen you cause chaos for shits and giggles before.”
you pouted, your voice soft as you mumbled, “so mean...” before falling silent. the teasing had taken its toll, and the exhaustion from the night was finally catching up with you. without saying another word, you rested your cheek against geto’s shoulder, feeling the comforting rhythm of his steps.
gojo noticed the shift in your demeanor and chuckled a little. “looks like the bantering wore her out, huh?” he said, glancing over at geto with an amused smile.
geto, who was comfortably carrying you on his back, felt your weight against his shoulders. he shot a glance over his own shoulder at you, noticing how you had quieted down. a small, subtle smile tugged at his lips at the sight of you resting your cheek against him, the exhaustion written all over your face.
“i think she’s finally hit her limit,” he replied, his voice quieter now, concern seeping into his tone as he glanced ahead, ensuring the path was clear. gojo nodded in agreement. “yeah, no doubt about it. looks like she’s all tuckered out after all that mischief.” the both of them continued their journey in a comfortable silence, the only sound being the gentle rustle of the night wind and the soft echo of their footsteps on the pavement beneath them.
they finally reached your dorm room, gojo pulled the key from his pocket, the one he had copied with your permission for situations just like this. with a click, he unlocked the door and stepped inside, turning on the light with a quick flick of his fingers. the warm glow of the room filled the space, casting a soft, welcoming light.
geto, who had been carrying you on his back the entire way, walked deeper into the room, his steps careful as he approached your bed. he gently lowered you onto the mattress, making sure not to wake you as your body sank into the soft sheets. his hand lingered for a moment, brushing some hair away from your face as you slept, your breathing steady and peaceful.
gojo leaned against the wall beside your bed, watching the scene with a faint smile. “looks like she’s out cold. at least we won’t have to deal with any more drunk rambling,” he remarked quietly, though his tone was more affectionate than teasing now.
geto chuckled softly, his voice matching the quiet of the room, as he stepped back from the bed. “yeah, not so much as a peep,” he said, shaking his head slightly, his gaze still on your sleeping figure.
gojo walked over to the side of the bed, his eyes scanning your peaceful expression. the playful banter and teasing that always came so naturally to him were replaced by a softened expression—an indication of his genuine concern for you. “she’s lucky to have ‘friends’ like us, watching out for her.”
geto chuckled, his laughter soft as he knelt beside the bed, carefully slipping off your shoes and socks. “nah, lucky’s not the word,” he disagreed, glancing at gojo with a wry smile. “we're just hopeless, man. let’s face it—we're not just looking out for her. we’re wrapped around her finger, whether we admit it or not.” he glanced down at you, still sound asleep, before shaking his head with a hint of fondness. “it’s not about being friends anymore, is it? we’re both just idiots with a massive crush.”
gojo let out a quiet scoff, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. “speak for yourself, suguru,” he retorted, his voice filled with mock indignation. “i’m the epitome of cool, aloof detachment. i don't get wrapped around anyone’s finger.” despite his words, his gaze was fixed on your sleeping form, unable to deny the truth in geto’s statement. his expression was a mix of both annoyance and amusement.
geto rolled his eyes, a knowing smile on his face. “yeah, sure, satoru,” he responded sarcastically. “you keep telling yourself that. you’re about as detached as a puppy following its owner around.” he continued fussing over you, pulling a blanket over your body, making sure you were comfortable, and ensuring you were safe. all while simultaneously shooting gojo a knowing look, as if to say “you’re not fooling anyone.”
gojo grumbled a little, his expression a mix of annoyance and stubbornness. “psh, whatever. i just have a strong protective instinct,” he retorted, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. he watched geto, his eyes following his every move as he took care of you. he couldn’t help but feel a pang of annoyance at geto’s smugness, but he knew deep down that he was right.
“i just like to make sure she’s safe, that’s all,” he mumbled, the defensiveness in his voice hinting at his deeper feelings towards you. “and i’m just here because i don’t trust you to look after her by yourself. someone’s gotta keep you in line.”
despite his denial, gojo walked over to your little vanity, grabbing a cotton pad and some cleansing water he didn’t know the name of but recognized from seeing you use it often to clean your face and remove your makeup.
he sat by the edge of the bed, the cotton pad in hand, and glanced at geto. gojo huffed, clearly not liking the amused look on geto's face. “what? i’m just being practical here,” he shot back, his brows furrowing as he held the cotton pad and water bottle in his hands like a shield against geto's teasing.
“you know how she gets about her skin. if she wakes up with her makeup still on, she’s going to complain about it in the morning and bleed our ears off,” he added, a hint of seriousness creeping into his voice. “you know how she gets about that stuff—like, ‘oh my god, i’ll get a pimple!’”
geto chuckled softly, shaking his head at gojo’s words. “yeah, yeah, mister practical over here,” he teased, watching with amusement as gojo started to clean your makeup-smudged face. “just admit it, you care too much about her even when she’s too drunk to care. and you can’t stand the thought of her complaining about it in the morning.”
his eyes gleamed with a hint of mischief. “you’re wrapped around her finger just as much as i am, but you just can’t bring yourself to admit it, can you?” gojo shot geto a glare, his eyes narrowing slightly at the comment. “shut it, would you?” he grumbled, focusing his attention on the task at hand.
he gently dabbed the cotton pad, soaked in the cleansing water, against your face, meticulously removing every trace of makeup. his touch was surprisingly gentle considering the gruffness in his voice. his fingers careful against your skin, trying not to be too harsh.
“i just don’t want to hear any whining in the morning,” he muttered, his voice still defensive. “and i can’t stand the thought of her waking up looking like a raccoon.”
geto chuckled again at gojo’s words, his eyes never leaving his friend. “sure, that’s all it is. you’re just doing it for practical reasons,” he said, his voice thick with sarcasm. “if it was about avoiding whining, why not just let me deal with it? i can handle a few complaints in the morning. but nooo, you had to step in and become mr. cleanse-your-face-with-gentle-tender-care.”
gojo’s mouth opened, clearly ready to fire back a retort, but the moment you stirred, both he and geto froze. their eyes darted to you as you shifted slightly in your sleep before settling back down. the room was dead silent for a moment, gojo holding his breath, waiting to see if you’d wake.
when you didn’t, gojo shot a glare at geto, who was still kneeling by the bed with an amused smirk on his face. without hesitation, gojo kicked him—not too hard, but enough to make geto stumble slightly and fall backward onto the floor.
“shut up,” gojo hissed, his tone sharp but low enough not to disturb you.
geto, lying on the floor, looked up at him with a wide grin, chuckling softly as he rubbed his side where gojo had kicked him. “jeez, you really are on edge tonight,” he teased, his voice barely a whisper, though the amusement in his tone was undeniable.
gojo grumbled under his breath, rolling his eyes as he tried to keep his focus on you. “just be quiet,” he muttered, glaring at the man before continue to clean your face while geto continued to laugh quietly from his spot on the floor.
“you know, you’re just proving my point,” geto chuckled, pulling himself up from the floor and sitting back down. “you’re so concerned about keeping her happy even when she's unconscious. if it was just about avoiding bitching tomorrow, you’d just let me deal with it.”
his eyes watched as you slept, his expression slightly softer than usual. “but no, you’re going all out on the whole gentle-care routine. you can deny it all you want, but we both know the truth.” he moved off the floor, leaning in to fix stray hairs that had fallen out of place, tucking them behind your ear. geto leaned over to place a soft kiss on your forehead, his voice barely a whisper. “sweet dreams, doll face.”
gojo move slightly on the edge of the bed, a weary sigh escaping him. the long day was catching up to him, evident in the way he rubbed his face before slumping down. he glanced at geto, his tone filled with both exhaustion and exasperation. “i should kick your ass for that, man. but i’m too tired to do anything.”
geto chuckled, shaking his head as he watched gojo’s dramatic display. “yeah, yeah, satoru. you’re real tough when you’re not exhausted,” he teased, his voice quiet. “but alright, i’ll cut you some slack this time. just try not to be too grumpy in the morning. i can’t handle your mood swings on top of doll face’s hangover tantrum.”
he looked over at you, his expression softening a little. “it’s always something with her, isn’t it?” he said, a trace of fondness in his voice.
gojo raised an eyebrow, his exhaustion making his expression even more deadpanned than usual. “psh, don’t pretend like you’re exempt from the drama. i’ve seen you and her both get into more trouble than a pair of monkeys on a sugar high. and we both know who’s the one who always ends up being the responsible one, bailing your asses out.”
he leaned back on the headboard, propping his feet up on the bed beside you. “seriously, between your combined forces of chaos and her uncanny ability to draw in trouble, you two are bound to make my life a living hell one of these days.” despite his words, gojo pulls a blanket over your body before leaning down gives you a kiss on the forehead.
geto watched gojo with a soft smile, his teasing momentarily replaced by a more tender expression. “alright, i gotta give it to you; that was sweet. but i bet ten bucks she’s gonna wake up and start whining about her hangover and blame it on us.”
