In my OC’s world wizards often wear hats in order to be recognized by people as wizards in case anyone needs their help. they usually dont wear them most of the time (and as far as students go they only wear them during special events because theyre still in training) but theyre a part of tradition. as you can tell theyre highly customizable and the only real guidelines for what makes it a wizard hat is it has to have a point, have a large brim, and have a band around it. so theres a lot of variety. i just drew these up for fun a while ago and forgot to ever post them so i had to dig for this lol

#finn's ocs #theyre mostly pretty self explanatory!#daisy's is supposed to be sort of like a geode but it might be hard to tell . i dont think i portrayed it very well !#maggie has a tiny one that looks like a sunhat. it has to be tiny or it wont go over her horns lol #thats the same reason tams has to be big. so it WILL go over them #but they like to showboat anyway so #also hollys has sparkles because she also likes to showboat #the brim of amarys hat is see-through and so is the ribbon around carnation's #musk and gallica have One line of each others color around their hats #the underside of asters hat is like a galaxy but i had a hard time drawing that too lol #proteas hat has her signature 2 stripes. thats like her potion maker patent lol #hyacinths shifts between shades of purple bc shapeshifter #sorrels has this like... reflective sort of thing going w his. its shiney like his forcefeilds. also its got his familys logo thing on it #for the most part all of them are pretty self explanatory lol #i just like ranting
