you ever wonder about the truth of zarina? the winter, the ice elemental, the death in winter. why she is lament? why the chains are so important? why she is isolation and loneliness at her core? this art of hamel is the perfect representation of zarina’s core, her longing for love / warmth and her being chained away as a beast in beauty. as beautiful as she is, her touch bring death akin to morana. the solemn and sad look, the inability to reach the destined ending for she (post-metamorphosis) may not even reach that ending.
