is it at all controversial to say that i dont think ash vs cynthia needed to be 3 episodes…
#like i can understand ash vs paul taking 3 episodes and ash vs kukui taking 4 bc those were extremely important battles for the series#not that this isnt important or a battle that hasnt been teased for years but… idk inthink a two parter wouldve sufficed here#the switch spam honestly reads to me as padding more than a natural choice anime cynthia would make#that being said its still a fine enough battle. i just think it couldve been condenced#then again. idk! im not as into the battles as other people are#idk i liked the destiny bond bit and honestly all the spiritomb stuff was great. i love it when theres just an insane beast#it gave me paul’s drapion vibes#and i like how pikachu was the one to finally take it down at the cost of his role in the battle and everyone takes it VERY seriously#bc like yeah damn it is a devastating and almost unfair loss. thats really raw#echoed voice#jn lb
