not to get too earnest about an utterly ridiculous season seven motw buckleming episode (and i should probably save my thoughts for my writers rewatch anyway since i'm only one away from it) but the interesting thing to me about emma is that at the end when they try to hand wave it all away with the whole "it's fine, she wasn't really yours" thing, dean pushes back on it!!! like he absolutely could've just been like you know what. you're right. it was just a monster really, not my human kid, so it doesn't count. but the fact that he literally makes a point to be like no, she was actually mine means something!!!

I'm watching the episode 'The Slice Girls' and oh my god i have so many thoughts on this episode

how did they do emma dirty in one ep?

She literally was hesitant in everything the Amazons made her do, She didn't want to eat that meat thing,she had questions, She didn't want to get branded, She didn't really want to kill her dad (ik it was a tactic but still some of it came from her heart it seemed)

And then as soon as Dean is upset and is trying to talk to Sam about how the hunt went Sam compares Dean choking and not wanting to kill HIS CHILD to Dean killing Amy who in fact was killing people (justified imo but still killing) AND THEN Sam says she wasn't really your child???? You're just saying that cuz you just killed your niece who very much was your niece and very much was Dean's child

And they killed the one Amazon who hadn't killed anyone yet and then lost basically every other Amazon what a net fucking loss for them

that sex scene was pretty good I felt like there hadn't been a good one in a few seasons, And I really liked how it paralleled to the killing of that one guy

Also I just noticed how he said I'm getting too old for this right after when he was talking to Sam and that kind of makes sense because after that there was even less sex scenes

the whole ep the boys were talking about bobby And it reminded me of in season 2 how they were grieving john, except it seemed more emotional this time around like they were actually trying to process it in some way, Not exactly healthy but processing it
