Losing it at the possibilities for how Danny even got started doing this in the first place. There are so many good options.

A) Danny met Tim at some point and was really impressed by him, and decided it was now his business to make sure a fellow sleep deprived teen vigilante stayed safe, since Tim doesn’t have Danny’s advantage of being able to just tank superhuman hits if he’s tired and having an off day.

B) Danny’s always been a fan of the bats, and decided to invisibly go watch them work, only to be concerned about the hours this one in particular was pulling. The first time he enforced nap time, he thought it was funny. The more serious Tim got about it, the funnier it gets. Once he got Alfred Approved, he started taking his job seriously.

C) Dream of the Endless himself got fed up with this behavior, but decided regular intervention was too hands-on for him to do personally, so he outsourced a little.

Dream: *appears in front of Danny in his bedroom in a swirl of sand*

Danny: *blinking* Well this isn’t the weirdest thing to happen to me this month. “You’re not a ghost. Can I help you?”

Dream: “I would like to ask your assistance. A vigilante of this world avoids the realm of dreams with a determination and frequency that brings him far closer to my eldest and youngest sisters than is good for him or this timeline.” *gives him details and a tiny, sample-sized pouch of sand*

Danny: “So you want me to… pocket sand a guy? Any time he’s awake too long?”

Danny: “You know what? Sure. Why not? But uh, why me?”

Dream: “You have the skills to go undetected even by this family, you are the apprentice of the ghost aspect of Time and a leader in the realm between dimensions. You were the correct choice.” *vanishes mysteriously*

Matthew: “It was because you guys share white hair and names, wasn’t it?”

Dream: “… maybe.”

Tim Drake keeps getting kidnapped.

No one is sure how the culprit is doing it and no one has so much as seen them, but whenever Tim stays awake for even a second over the three day mark he disappears.

He always shows up back in the manor asleep somewhere and wakes up with no memory of anything occurring. The only reason the batfam even know that he's being kidnapped instead or mind control or other alternatives is the pictures on Tim's phone of him asleep and a notebook with handwritten notes on it usually making jokes or puns and telling Tim to take better care of himself. This is usually accompanied by a picture of Tim with one of those clay facial cleansing masks complete with cucumber slices over the eyes.

No amount of staking out Tim prevents him from vanishing. He simply disappears the moment no one is looking and it happens both as Tim Drake and Red Robin. The only clue they've gotten on the kidnapper so far is a glowing white glove that appeared in one of the pictures holding the container for the face mask.

In absence of a name, Steph has dubbed him "The Sleep Fairy"

Does Timmy have any regrets about becoming a fairy? Does he ever wish he never done it? Or at least wait until he was older?

The closest Timmy's ever gotten to wishing he had never done it was when his wings were growing out. He immediately felt guilt when he remembered about Peri. Timmy doesn't believe in having regrets. The only way through is forward, and the only way out is up!

If presented with a redo, Timmy would do it all over in a heartbeat.

Okay, see, the thing you gotta understand about Fairy Raph (or really ANY Raph) is that he is absolutely, positively, 100% both of those things at the same time.

Is he whimsical and silly and good at caring for animals and carrying healing supplies and wearing feathers and ruffles and pretty flowers? YES. YES HE IS.

But is he also a Big Scary Fairy? YES. YES HE IS. This guy will 100% fight anyone who messes with Leo/Donnie/Mikey, and man, there's a reason why he usually gets assigned to work with the more difficult or aggressive animals! Between his animal-talent and scout training (more on that coming at,,, uh,,, some point when I get around to making his ref sheet,,,,,), he's basically the only fairy strong enough to deal with dangerous animals.

Does he love them? Yes. Will he wrestle them into submission if needed? Yes. he's big he's silly he's sweet he's protective he's kinda scary sometimes and we love him and he probably loves us too, he likes big weird animals and humans definitely qualify :>

Sleeping Beauty I decided to take a twist on the whole Maleficent movie relationship thing.

So for this AU, Briar Rose, instead of running up to her room in despair after hearing she's a princess and has to leave her whole life behind, instead runs out into the woods. And before the fairies can find her--they're still keeping their magic small to keep their location secret, not knowing its already been compromised--she runs into Maleficent.

Of course, she has no idea who the wicked fairy is. No one has ever told her about her. All she knows is that a beautiful and powerful being of the forest is before her, but Rose has never known real wickedness, and perhaps she's feeling somewhat rebellious towards her aunts, so she begins talking to the strange woman when Maleficent --who likes to play with her food-- feigna concern asks Rose to tell her what's made her so upset.

So Rose tells her about how she just found out her whole life is a lie, and how she'll never see the first boy she ever met again, and how she doesn't want to go and be princess with a king and queen she doesnt know, parents who gave her up for some reason intead of bothering to raise her themselves.

If she had had time to process her grief, and the promise of not being separated from her new found love, Rose might have been able to get over these resentments, spoken in the heat of the moment, more quickly.

But Maleficent decides that fanning the flames of he Princess's broken heart and trust, playing on her anger towards Stefan and the three fairies, could be so much more entertaining than just killing the girl outright.

So she takes Rose by the arm, and back with her to her palace, where she promises her the truth about all her questions, and the answers to how to solve all her problems...

Time passes, and the princess never arrives on her 16th birthday.

The king and queen are distraught. Relations breakdown between the human kingdom and the fairy court, as the fairies failed in their duties to guard the human girl, and they are called back into the Veil of the Fairies, leaving the mortals to fend for themselves.

Then relations break down between the human kingdoms when Prince Phillip goes missing as well, vanished into the forest, never to be seen again.

And then others begin to vanish. A farmer here, a wandering knight there. A whole group of children one moonless night. As more disappear, many more begin to flee entirely. Fields are left untilled, houses abandoned, borders undefended.

Tales soon cross the land as the refugees take flight from Stefan and Hubert's kingdoms. Tales of a dark presence that haunts the shadows of the woods, stealing away those who are foolish enough to wander beneath the trees. A fiend who takes the shape of a beautiful forest sprite, with a voice like a nightnagle. She causes all who hear it to fall under her spell, wandering into the shadows like they're walking in a dream, one from which they will never wake...

Well, now that you've pointed it out!!! Peri won't stop thinking about it!!!!! Congrats, you've just given the Fairy more anxiety.

Fairies can lose their tails. It can also grow back, like lizard tails do. But they still feel pain and growing the tail back is a bother.

There's the loss of balance, the sudden instant sprouting when it comes back, but you don't know when it'll grow back so now suddenly your pants has a brand new hole in it because the tail decided to sprout out facing down instead of straight and, ough. Annoying!!!
