Do you plan on hiring a team in the future? Or will your games continue to be mainly passion projects?

Ahh, I don't think I have the skill and wit to manage a team ;;v;; I'm already a bit clumsy responding to people in DMs, much less the kind souls offering to translate my games in a timely manner.

I try my best to communicate promptly when possible, but I can't imagine the trouble I'd make if I tried to hire people haha. This is a personal flaw really, but if I ever wanna reach out to someone for coding assistance or voice acting, it's better to do one-on-one than a whole team.

Cyborg!Anko for my Bulletproof Hearts AU!! There’s a lot of context needed to make this make sense (and I’ll get into it once I’m done *at least* Genma and Kakashi’s character sheets as well) but uhhh the AU is mainly based on the MCR Killjoys universe, but I take inspiration from Cyberpunk, Fallout, Mad Max, Trigun… so think retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic Japanese -American fusion :) The tokujo squad run a gas station out in the middle of the wastes which they also use as Anko’s mechanic shop, Genma’s radio station, and the base of operations for the rebellion against the fascist government of Neo-Konoha! In Socotna marriages two sets of same sex siblings are required. Here we have the brothers Unbodied Tasapnu and Headless Lasu of House Mitoca, and the sisters Unbodied Heniya and Headless Batab of House Dedēsne, at the ages they would have betrothed. Heniya-Lasu and Tasapnu-Batab would have been Throned in a dual ceremony after coming of age (about a decade older than this art depicts) and then married immediately. Socotna Throne-weddings are probably the most intense non-festival occasions in Hegemonic culture. It’s something I still need to work out the details of.

Throne candidates are trained from a very young age to accept and even anticipate the prospect of being Throned as an ultimate privilege, but that doesn’t mean that they all have the same feelings about it. Ultimately a candidate who is overly reluctant may be reconsidered or passed over for fear they’ll fail as a Throne, so it isn’t impossible to reject the position, though it does leave a stain and can at worst lead to ostracism. In the case of these two, their Thronings and their marriage are something that was preordained for more or less their entire lives, in absentia of any consent. It’s a common situation for Thrones and it’s inevitable some resent it, but many accept it as a necessity and try and make the best of the situation, especially considering the power and privilege of grants. How much a Throne regrets their Throning is something that depends immensely on the hand they happen to be dealt.

Stalking John Watsons twitter and saw this and wanted to share for the people who have not seen this

HE DID THE THING!!

One of my favorite things about the original ACD Sherlock Holmes books is how much attention to detail Watson puts into everything, but ESPECIALLY with Holmes, literally on the first few days of living with Holmes, Watson was so intrigued by his flatmate to the point he wrote down everything he learned from about him. Until of course throwing it into a fire and disregarding it because he felt it was useless and still did not understand him. But still, these smalls things are usually glossed over by other medias, and although it was not mentioned in the podcast, it makes sense for him to say something about it on twitter.

The fact they wrote almost word for word what he writes in the book. I can die happy now.

So I had a funny green lantern Hal thought. How often he probably spreads existential dread unintentionally or obliviously!

I mean, the man’s entire job model involves traveling the far reaches of the galaxy and meeting everyone and anything. Sure, the bat family has seen some shit and the league has aliens, but nobody travels as often or as far as Hal. Have you ever thought of writing something funny where Hal is just living life obliviously and other people are processing in the wake of whatever knowledge he dropped? Or something where people SEE hal on duty with aliens and realize that he’s super knowledgeable and talking about stuff they might not even know about because it’s so irrelevant to earth? Could be shippy or not, but I’m sure the wreckage would he hilariously either way!

I do actually really like this idea and I might hold onto it if you don't mind 🤔🤔

This works perfectly, 'cause it’s so easy to forget that Hal is actually a really clever guy, especially when the fandom likes to paint him as a dumbass who gets dunked on by the Batfam. (Barry gets this treatment too and that hurts me emotionally I love them)

I like the idea of Hal just telling everyone about his wild weekend in space, but he’s like dropping some of the most insane, existential, completely unhinged shit. All of it’s said with the same energy as a man telling you about his fishing trip with the boys. And the boys are the other Lanterns who are nodding along because they’ve seen his shit in real time.
